• Andrew (9/5): Great early check in and friendly staff in a very good location - We had a great room for the 3 of us and it was very comfortable in a fantastic location. They gave us a nice platter on arrival too which my son loved -

• Tracey (8/5): Satisfied apart from the lack of knowledge and information regarding my aller - Breakfast was very good and had plenty of choices I have a nut allergy This wasn’t very well handled in the restaurant/bar Eventually, we had to ask for a chef to come out and speak to us Also, when we had a complimentary bottle of wine and snacks, I asked the lady if it contained nuts She said no, when I asked for more detail, she read out the ingredients and said no it doesn’t it contains milk egg flour etc and pistachios!!! I said that’s nuts! She said, oh, you can’t have it then Just felt, that this let us down as it’s very important!!!

• Sarah (9/5): A very comfortable stay - The hotel is extremely well situated in a very nice area. It was within easy walking distance of all the areas we wanted to visit. The room was rather small with virtually no drawer space and there wasn't enough hanging space for towels in the bathroom.

• Julie (8/5): Excellent hotel and we had a lovely weekend in London - The location of the hotel was excellent for our theatre trip and all staff and facilities were excellent The lifts were quite slow with one being out of order but we used the stairs which was fine
• Zornitza (9/5): Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, der lediglich durch einen kleinen Mangel im Bad leicht beeinträchtigt wurde. - Das Zimmer war gut in zwei Bereiche gegliedert und zudem sehr gut schallisoliert. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das gebuchte Frühstück war sehr ansprechend und reichhaltig. Besonders angenehm waren die Frühstückszeiten: unter der Woche bis 10:00 Uhr und am Wochenende sogar bis 11:00 Uhr. Die Duschkabine war nicht ausreichend abgedichtet, wodurch Wasser im unteren Türbereich austrat und sich im Bad verteilte.

• Kelly (8/5): Nice hotel but cramped rooms - Great location and hotel facilities were good We booked this hotel as we were going to the theatre, it’s not as close as you’re led to believe, it’s a 15-20 walk, which with a tired child wasn’t great. Family room was really cramped
• Michiel (6/5): Goede locatie, matige prijs/kwaliteitverhouding - De locatie was perfect. Dicht in de buurt van OV, restaurants en in de buurt van het British museum. De prijs/kwaliteitverhouding. Voor een 4* hotel was de kamer matig: In de badkamer was de afwerking matig: bruine vlekken op de badkuip, smerige kitranden. De slaapkamer was “okay”, maar niet iets wat opleeft naar het “4* DoubleTree by Hilton” merk. Het voelde allemaal gedateerd. Daar heb ik betere hotel van ervaren.
• Wagner (5/5): Gute Lage, Hotel okayisch - Großzügiges Zimmer in guter Lage und ziemlich sauber. Man konnte alles sehenswerte von London sehr einfach zu Fuß erreichen, alternativ auch mit Ubahn oder Bus. Direkt vor der Tür. Leider sehr veraltete Ausstattung, das Zimmer bräuchte eine Renovierung bei dem man es mal auf den aktuellen Standard gebracht wird. Beispielsweise hing der Spiegel im Bad so niedrig, dass man seinen Kopf nicht sehen konnte ohne sich zu bücken. Gefühlt saß man bei dem Klo auf dem Fußboden. Die ganze Nacht war ein leises Rauschen aus der Lüftung zu hören. Dennoch hatte der Lüfter im Bad hat quasi keinen Effekt gehabt. Über der Tür zum Bad war eine große Lücke, da fehlte irgendwas. Das Bett war Steinhart, kein Wunder, ein Brett auf dem eine Federkernmatratze liegt ist auf Dauer nicht sehr bequem. Frühstück hat uns überhaupt nicht zugesagt, das Essen war fad und die Auswahl mau. Auch irgendwie kein Englisches Breakfast wie man es erwartet. Wir haben es dann auch einfach ausgelassen und uns lieber etwas vom tollen Streetfoot gegönnt. Preis Leistung hat für uns leider nicht gepasst.

• Willem (9/5): Heel goed hotel voor een citytrip - personeel was vriendelijk, en ontbijt boven verwachting - Ontbijt was echt goed en gevarieerd. Kamers zijn klein, wat niet ongebruikelijk is in Londen. Personeel is vriendelijk. We kregen makkelijk een vroege check-in voor één van de kamers, zodat we onze bagage 's ochtends al kwijt konden. Toegang tot de wifi is erg complex, je moet eerst registreren, etc... Er staat water op de kamer prominent op de tafel, maar het is betalend als je geen lid bent van Hilton Honnors: ergerlijk. Zet dan niets, dan drinken we wel kraantjeswater.

• Simon (4/5): NOT a 4 star hotel. 2 star at best. - Not a lot. This is not a 4-star hotel. There were multiple issues during our stay: · Check in cost was more than amount shown on booking.com · Weak water flow in shower · Fold-out bed was hard · Wifi was inconsistent · Door keys stopped working · Noisy hinges on all room doors along our corridor. Individually, these issues may seem minor, but during a short stay, they quickly add up and cause frustration.

• ATA (6/5): Smell in the room affects whole stay negatively - Nice location. Close to st pancrass and Oxford Street and Covent Garden. Breakfast is also good with variable options. the bad smell in the room. Especially during the night; there was smell of sewer; which was very terrible and awakens you. that smell comes from the douche/wc.
• Claire (8/5): exceeded expectations, luxurious hotel in great location. - Excellent location, really comfortable well appointed room and great value. If I was to quibble, could have more choice at breakfast - poached eggs, porridge, smoothies, overnight oats that kind of thing. But what was there was perfectly good and very tasty.

• Daniel (10/5): - We had a great stay at DoubleTree by Hilton London. The room was comfortable and met all our expectations. The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of options. What truly stood out was the staff — well-trained, professional, and extremely polite. It’s honestly not something you come across very often these days. Overall, an excellent experience — definitely a 10/10 stay, and we would gladly return.
• Lorraine (9/5): Fantastic, family friendly hotel, modern, quiet and safe. Walking distance to lots of attractions. - Modern, clean, very comfortable rooms. Restaurant also very modern and comfortable with a fantastic selection of food for breakfast. There was no noise at night and as a mother and daughter we felt very safe. Check in was at 3.30 and our room was not ready until 4.30 despite being allocated a room at 1pm and being told it had been prioritised for the team getting rooms ready.
• chriscourtney60 (10/5): Good for a stay - 1 night in London after the theatre. Was a nice stay with breakfast even if the queen deluxe room was a little small but ok for one night. Breakfast had a good voice but sat beside people who just talked on their phones to others without headphones which ruined it a bit. Not the hotels fault

Kamer was niet op tijd klaar omdat ze de extra geboekte optie (versiering kamer) waren vergeten. Eerst moesten we een uur wachten, daarna nog 20 minuten, toen nog 10 en toen nog 5 minuten. We voelden ons aan het lijntje gehouden en kregen niet het idee dat het personeel veel moeite deed om de kamer klaar te hebben. Vervolgens waren ze ook nog een deel van celebration package vergeten in de kamer. Bij het ontbijt wordt gevraagd of je koffie of thee wil. Dit wordt vervolgens niet gebracht en wordt dus ook vergeten. Kortom, het personeel is erg warrig waardoor de beleving van de gast minder is.

• sarahaB4687XX (10/5): Great Atmosphere Let Down by Service - We visited The Writing Room restaurant for dinner. Hotel is superb and the vibes are amazing. Unfortunately, the service let it down. The waitress ( Mahnur) was quite pushy with upselling, made us feel pressured to order more, and had a slightly rude attitude when we didn’t agree. It was also uncomfortable being asked to give a cash tip instead of adding it to the card. Such a great place overall, but this really took away from the experience.

• Wagner (9/5): - The location was great. The hotel staff were very attentive, and the room and bed were very clean and comfortable, with a nice view. The hotel is very close to all sorts of shows in the West End, as well as shops and supermarkets, which was very convenient. Euston Station was also nearby, making it easy to walk to and from. Overall, the hotel is very conveniently located in the centre of London. The breakfast was good too, and the staff remained attentive throughout. Everything was good for the price you pay and worth the location.
