- Beryl (8/5): Vague hostel - Showering is a challenge and you have to be careful you don’t wet your clothes as the shower room is small.There’s not a lot of heating but water is hot. Stairs are a challenge, they are steep and narrow. To use the loo at night is a challenge. It’s freezing and the light lasts a very short time. The air con wasn’t working in our dorm but they wouldn’t listen until after 5 days and then it wasn’t good.

The hotel was impeccably clean, making my stay very comfortable. Its central location allowed me to easily explore many attractions in the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant stay. A special thanks to Yasmine, who made my experience truly enjoyable. I also want to thank Usra for her outstanding service, as well as the sweetest girl who, despite the language barrier, provided warm hospitality that made my stay even better. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to explore the city with convenience and comfort! I just wanted to say that everything during my stay was perfect! I truly enjoyed my time here and appreciate all the efforts made to ensure a great experience.

The volunteers are very kind and caring and make a big effort to make everyone feel included. Not a party hostel but everyone hangs out in the garden and a good mix of interesting people stay here. Private rooms are nicely decorated and good value. Good A-C. Ideal location near to the old town and next to shops and cafes. Old school hostel vibes. Definitely 10/10

The people who stay here are also usually very down to earth, making the place feel like family vibes. The place is well kept and cleaned, and it's in a great location

They were doing some sort of repairs using power tools at 10pm at night

From the moment I arrived, the staff ( Mazi, Paul…)was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The room was immaculate, with comfortable bedding and all the amenities one could need. The highlight of my stay was the nice vibe ands the perfect atmosphere of hostel Vague. It truly exceeded my expectations and added a special touch to my visit. Additionally, the location was perfect, offering easy access to Antalya downtown, Old town and beach. Overall, Hostel Vague provided top-notch service and comfort, making my stay both enjoyable and memorable. - Tess (8/5): Lovely, homely welcoming vibe. Cheap, friendly & great location - Very friendly and fun hostel, we really enjoyed our stay. The location was great and the staff very helpful with any questions. The hostel has nice shared areas, a great shaded garden and comfortable rooms. The only downside was the bathrooms could use a bit of extra cleaning & maintenance. There were showers to choose from and 2 of them that we tried were a little dirtier and grubby than you would expect from a well maintained hostel.

- Pankov (10/5): 100% recommendation - Clean, team responds promptly to all the needs, really friendly atmosphere. Will be looking for a chance to stay there one more time. Most of the places to eat around are tacky tourist traps, so it is better to cook things in the hostels kitchen.

- David (8/5): - It was a nice hostel with good vibes. As a couple, we had a private room and it was okay but I would definitely book a proper hotel next time. The place is better suited to friends or solo travellers. The location is great. We have also stayed in the old town and we prefer this area for convenience and distance from tourist traps.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Pretty Good - I had a pretty good stay here. Everyone was very friendly and the service was good. The hostel has a very cute courtyard in the back that people hang out. My only real problem (which may be fixed, I was told it just started happening) was that the bathroom light motion sensor would switch off every few seconds even while you are in there which made showering a bit difficult. Other than that my stay was good. The hostel is located very conveniently right outside old town

- Diana (8/5): Very good - Welcoming and social hostel with helpful stuff :) In the heart of the city center. Easy to get there from the airport (Tram T1). Nice garden to sit outside and free coffee to wake you up. Some stuff need maintainance f.e. our blinds were broken.
- Paolo (6/5): - Top kindness and helpfulness. But some guest in the courtyard chatted loud until 4 am and there were no one reproaching them. I passed a terribile night: I could not sleep! Furthermore, there are too few wc in comparison with the number of guests. Too low quality for the price paid.

They did an incredible job making everyone feel welcomed and at home :) The events were very fun and the hostel was super social. It was also very clean and had very nice facilities. Some of the facilities could've been a bit better. Like some of the locks did not work very well for the bathrooms (especially the ones on the top floor for the hostel), and one of the showers was not working great. I understand the difficulty and costs with fixing these, but it would make the stay a bit better and more comfortable.

The staff is very friendly, the guests loved to plan trips together and every evening there was a little event that everyone in the hostel could join (like fire & wine evening). The kitchen was fully equipped and it was nice to cook in there. Nothing mayor, but for whoever this is important: there could be more privacy in the bathrooms/toilettes (the only indoor one is together in one room with the showers and has only half a door) and the showers tend to flood the floor of the bathroom.

- Minh (9/5): Lovely people - People here are absolutely lovely—a real family. They do a lot of things together, such as cooking, music sessions or going out. They even organize a jam session every Thursday in a bar nearby. The kitchen is well-equipped and you get filtered water. They give you a towel and slippers for a deposit. Beautiful garden, stunning rooftop and a wonderful cat. They clean everything multiple times a day and everyone's really mindful. No curtains and sometimes there were issues with the hot water in the shower. Generally speaking, this place isn't for you if you need a lot of privacy and want to be by yourself most of the time. This place is for someone who values and participates in a nice community. You will get a lot back in return.

After two nights the concept of time was nonexistent to me and it felt like I had already lived there for months. It’s not just a regular hostel, it’s a home, one I will always keep close to my heart until I get back there. The staff is one of a kind, starting with Paul, who is an amazing and deeply caring person— unique, holding worlds inside him. Arthur is great to talk and listen to, for he’s got a lot to share and I can’t wait to hear about his coming adventures. Gonzo, never without his guitar, made me feel welcome from the moment I sat down in vagues beautiful garden. That same night we were good friends already, hanging out a lot for all the unknown time I spent there. For a moment in space and time I found a home there and a family that will always stay in my heart, even though we are spilled all over the world by now. I am deeply grateful for all of the beautiful and crazy experiences I was able to make with these people. Jasmine, the owner, is a lovely human being, full of heart and her engagement touched mine. The fact that they have a kitchen everyone is welcome to use, made it easy to feel even more at home and we cooked a lot together and for each other. Thank you for everything. A piece of me will always stay a Vague‘s.

Yasmin, the host, was incredibly welcoming right from the start, and I felt right at home. I highly recommend this hostel, especially for solo travellers. The place offers a wide range of evening activities, including film nights, game nights, and pub crawls, making it an excellent opportunity to meet new people. Thanks to Paul, Nate, Roisin, and Levente, who were fantastic hosts and actively participated in these activities, creating a friendly atmosphere. The hostel provides a board with a list of recommended activities and restaurants to explore in Antalya, which was very helpful. Moreover, its location is perfect—close to Antalya's old town but just far enough to ensure a peaceful night's sleep. The presence of air conditioning in the rooms was a lifesaver during the hot summer months. Overall, I would absolutely return to Hostel Vague. Considering the price, you receive excellent service and a memorable experience. There isn't much to mention in terms of dislikes. The bathroom was a bit small, and I encountered a few issues with the door. However, considering the reasonable price I paid, these were minor inconveniences compared to the overall positive experience. Oh if your allergic to cats this hostel might not be for you.

- Lucy (10/5): A home from home; a welcoming space for all - Yasmin and the team work hard to create a welcoming environment for all travellers. It was a creative, friendly and chilled place to stay. I was travelling solo and stayed in a private double room. The bed was comfy and there was space to spread all my kit out. The garden was an oasis with its pomegranate and lime trees. A great place to chill with the cats by yourself or with others. The kitchen was a great place to hang out and meet others. E.g. a group of us all went to the beach to watch the sunset and then head out for food. A home from home 🙏

Bathroom and toilet door on top floor needs to be fixed. Doors don't close properly and there are gaps in the door. So it's not safe for women. Bathroom facilities on mid floors were okay.
