• Kengelin (5/5): We would try the apartments again just not THE WELLNESS apartment. - Staff and communication was excellent. Entry to the apartment was perfect. The location is perfect. We could easily walk to everything! Great restaurants all around us and an amazing Gelato place directly across the street. The best pizza in Florence was also directly across the street. Loved it! The apartment itself was very small. We stayed in the WELLNESS apartment and the master bathroom setup was just weird. There were no hooks to hang towels. The use of the space was set up so strange. Shower was separate from steamroom, toilet and sink were so small that you could not put any of your toiletries anywhere! Literally no room to put your things. The kitchen was so difficult to understand with the appliances that we just never used it. The extra couch for a guest to sleep was not good. I found one extra blanket and no extra pillow. The apartment could be really good but the use of the space was just not good. No place to put any of your belongings. We felt very cramped. I think the other apartments are probable much better. Also, there was mold on the wall directly above the steam shower door...which would make sense. It just was a weird set up.

• JOÃO ALBERTO (10/5): Vale a pena, com toda certeza, mas precisa melhorar no quesito "entrega da chave". - O apartamento é super bem localizado e muito bem estruturado, com quarto, sala, cozinha bem completa e tudo funciona perfeitamente. Recomendo firmemente. O único problema que tivemos foi com a entrega da chave, que é disponibilizada em um hotel relativamente próximo. O problema mesmo é que na entrada do apartamento não há qualquer informação que facilite a entrega da chave. No nosso caso, fomos ajudados por uma hóspede que nos deu a informação de como chegar ao local da entrega da chave.

При необходимости можно оставить чемодан в отеле Grand Hotel Baglioni (находится рядом с вокзалом Firenze Santa Maria Novella). Чистый номер. Попался номер Writer. Он оказался с лестницей на второй этаж, где была спальня. Уточняйте этот момент заранее, кому-то лестница может быть тяжелой. Также будьте готовы к депозиту. ------------------------------- The entire entrance of the building is dedicated to apartments. Access is via an electronic key, which must be left when checking out. If needed, you can leave your luggage at the Grand Hotel Baglioni (located near Firenze Santa Maria Novella station). The room was clean. We stayed in the “Writer” room. It had a staircase leading to a second level where the bedroom was located. It’s worth clarifying this in advance, as the stairs may be difficult for some guests. Please also be prepared for a security deposit. 1. Для заселения необходимо идти в Grand Hotel Baglioni. В описании нигде это не сказано, поэтому мы сначала дошли до апартаментов, потом пришлось развернуться и идти к отелю. Сам отель предупредил об этом сообщением, но мы уже были в отпуске, почту не проверяли, поэтому пропустили это сообщение. Пытались связаться с персоналом на английском (звонили в домофон у апартаментов), человек нас не понимал. Стали общаться на итальянском, благо его знали. Так нас отправили к отелю. Без знания итальянского не представляю сколько ещё мы мучались бы с заселением. 2. Мало света на первом этаже. 3. У входа нет вешалки. Жили зимой, поэтому было не удобно с куртками. 4. Дверь в туалет на первом этаже плохо закрывалась. ------------------------------------ 1.Check-in is done at the Grand Hotel Baglioni. This is not mentioned anywhere in the description, so we first went to the apartments and then had to turn back and go to the hotel. The hotel did send a message about this, but we were already on vacation and didn’t check our email, so we missed it. We tried to contact the staff in English (via the intercom at the apartments), but the person didn’t understand us. We then switched to Italian, which we fortunately speak, and were directed to the hotel. Without knowing Italian, I can’t imagine how much longer the check-in process would have taken. 2. There is not enough light on the ground floor. 3. There is no coat rack near the entrance. We stayed in winter, so it was inconvenient with jackets. 4. The bathroom door on the ground floor didn’t close properly.

• Adriana (7/5): A spacious apartment in a great location - The location was great and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. Having two bathrooms was lovely! Lots of space for an extended stay. The beds and pillows were too firm. Picking up the keys from the hotel across town was very annoying. Noises from other guests kept us up all night.
• Lee (9/5): Lovely apartment in a quiet square. - Beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean. There were dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, a tea towel and a tablet for the washing machine which was a nice touch. Situated in a quiet square just over the river about 20 min walk from the train station. I had trouble using some of appliances in the kitchen. I eventually got the job to work but we couldn’t get the oven to heat up. They did have a qr code to get access to the manuals but I quick user guide would have been better. There was no bin in the kitchen either. Small things which did not spoil out stay though.

• Marije (6/5): Locatie top, maar het appartement viel tegen. - Locatie. De buurt Oltrarno heeft veel leuke osteria’s in de buurt. Prijs/kwaliteit Wij verbleven in appartement Time, aan de voorzijde van het gebouw. Helaas ligt het aan een drukke weg, waardoor je behoorlijk last hebt van verkeersgeluid. Het appartement zelf was vrij warm en de airconditioning werkte niet, wat het verblijf minder comfortabel maakte. Daarnaast was het warme water snel op, waardoor we regelmatig lauw moesten douchen. Ook hing er af en toe een sigarettenlucht in het toilet. Ik had graag een hogere beoordeling willen geven, maar alles bij elkaar genomen viel het verblijf toch tegen voor de prijs die je betaalt.
• Christine (9/5): Easy access to historical centre whilst being in a trendy area for night time eating & drinking - Location great for sightseeing & local area great for dining & drinks in evening. Modern, well equipped, warm & cosy. Drains smell from showers.
• Svetoslav (10/5): - 15-minutes walk to the main attractions. Stunning design. Great private courtyard of our apartment (Secret garden). The apartment we stayed impresses with its modern design, although in some areas aesthetics seem to have taken precedence over functionality. For example, the bathrooms are relatively small, there is no detachable showerhead, making the shower less practical, also, there is no convenient space for toiletries. No wall hooks for coats and towels. The pillows are quite firm, and it would be wonderful if a softer option were available. The absence of an espresso machine is also noticeable. Despite these minor details, the place is excellent, and we had a very pleasant stay.

Lack of plug points in general but particularly next to the bed. Host wasn’t too pleasant when collecting key / checking in. Lack of towels if you are planning to stay 2/3 nights +. We had a window in the bedroom where you had to choose between closed (but light came completely through) or covered (but then let hot air in!

• Philip (4/5): Overpriced. Rude staff. Stylish but not functional. - Location was fine. Apartment very clean. The attitude of the management staff. We were met at the apartment by a representative who didn’t appear to know his way round the apartment. He came across as a total comedic version of a vain Italian who can’t really be bothered in the first place - looking at past reviews, I think other guests have commented on what a plank he is. Going on from that, the apartment (Forest) looks very nice and very fashionable - however, it is definitely style over substance as everything seems to be in miniature (especially the toilets, sinks etc. We also found out that there’s not actually a wardrobe or anywhere to hang clothes - not even a coat hanger. I requested coathangers which did not arrive and had to ask the cleaners doing other apartments for some the next day. On asking the management why there was no wardrobe (only a damp cupboard with shelves) I was told that a coat rack was their idea of a wardrobe and told (more or less) that the apartments were designed by a wonderful architect and couldn’t be modified. I was made to feel lucky that I was in such a fabulous place and that having no where to hang your clothes is some sort of style feature. There is a washing machine in the apartment but no where to hang damp clothes meaning we had clothes hanging off of shower screens, door handles, window shutters etc (BTW - no views unless you want to look at drainpipes etc). After several interactions with 6 different management staff, they managed to put a clothes rack in the apartment on our last day. I would share the various messages going back and forth between myself and the management but they threatened me with legal action if I did so. Have a look at the bad reviews before booking here as they’ll tell you everything you really need to know.

Проблемная регистрация не рядом с домом. - Чистота, современный дизайн в квартре Ужасно организован процесс заезда- нужно поехать в центр города, чтобы зарегистрироваться в их отеле, потом ехать в квартиру. Самое ужасное это парковка, потому что они написали, что парковка есть, а по факту её нет, там есть уличные парковочные места, на которых никогда нет места. На этот чек ин и поиск парковки мы потратили 1,5 часа своего времени. Такого не ожидаешь от такого уровня отеля. Кровати и полушки были не удобные.

Very comfortable as we were 4 people in the Portrait room. The only issue was that it was dark and the rooms needed more lighting The rooms in the portrait suite were dark as mentioned in other reviews. Strongly suggest adding lighting especially for the master bedroom

L'hôtel (propriétaire de l'appartement) maintient que le remboursement a été fait or presqu'un mois plus tard je n'ai toujours pas reçu le remboursement sur la carte utilisée... Inacceptable.

• Evan (10/5): We had a beautiful visit to Florence and this apartment was a big part of it - Location, cleanliness and the steam room The kitchen, I hit my head constantly on the overhead thing. Pillows were too hard
• Jason (8/5): Good for a short stay in Florence - The apartment was spacious, clean and well appointed. We liked the two level layout. We enjoyed the short walk across the Arno to the centre, and there are also some excellent restaurants in Oltrano. There was air duct system that ran in the evenings that was very loud and many the building vibrate -- Sacchetti's Novella 202, the story about an inconsiderate neighbour who set up a weaving mill in an adjoining house, came to mind! Traffic noise from the road outside the bedroom was slightly abated by keeping windows closed and the time of day (busy in evenings and mornings).
• Adrian (9/5): Leave the busy tourist zone behind and stay in charming Olrarno - This was our third time staying at Oltrarno 1881 Apartments so it's become a second home for us whenever we visit Florence, All three apartments we've stayed in have been unique and tastefully designed. The location is a short walk or bus ride to the center of town with lots of restaurants and amenities nearby.

It was clean, beautifully decorated, close to the city but not in the crowds and everything is within walking distance.I would recommend everyone to book this place and if I’m ever returning to Florence I will definitely stay here again!

• Bohdan (9/5): - The apartment had a built-in climate system, so it was very easy to set a comfortable temperature. We've had access to an amazing inner garden with a lemon tree. The lightning made up a special atmosphere in the apartment, it was not too bright, and not too dim - just perfect. Location is great too - 10 minutes walk to the city centre.

Za vstop v apartma potrebujete kartico, ki je prevzamete v hotelu v starem mestnem jedru. Ker smo bili z avtom je ta del predstavljal izziv, vožnja skozi ozke ulice, skozi območje zapore za promet z izjemo, ki se uredi na recepciji hotela.

Το πρώτο βράδυ δεν λειτουργούσε η θέρμανση και έπρεπε να πάρουμε εμείς τηλ στο συνεργαζόμενο ξενοδοχείο για να το ρυθμίσουν.Ο καναπές έξω ήταν βρεγμένος με αποτέλεσμα να μην μπορούμε να καθίσουμε στον κήπο.

• Thorleif Skjødt (7/5): - Super dejlig beliggenhed tæt på alt men alligevel væk fra turismen ;-) Vi oplevede meget støj hver morgen også i weekenden, lejlighed ved siden af blev renoveret så vi blev vækket hver morgen omkring kl. 6-7 stykker af en bordehammer eller lign.. det var ret dårligt for oplevelsen at vi ikke kunne få hvilet ud..

• Nicole (8/5): A lovely apartment in Firenze - The apartment is very spacious and beautifully decorated. It is in an excellent part of Firenze, away from the central tourist district but a short and beautiful walk to all major attractions. There was absolutely nowhere to hang clothes except for a coat stand (with no coat hangers) and also no iron. The steamer provided was useless given the lack of coat hangers. While we appreciated the second bathroom we would have appreciated a closet and an iron and ironing board more.

• Stella (8/5): Great place, owners put a lot of effort and make this place beautiful , hence they should all take care of customer expe - Great Appartment, very nicely renovated. Well located . Walking distance from many attractions Customer service people, specifically a girl that forced us to walk all the way to another hotel to get the room keys and made it a big issue, destroying the whole experience. Although hotel management is giving the option to send you a person and do the check in at the apartment.
