- Tracy (10/5): A lovely spot to relax and unwind - The meals were absolutely fantastic! Dinner was a divine three-course experience, and it was such a treat not having to go out at night for food. Breakfast was equally delightful, with a great variety to choose from — a hot plated meal alongside cereals, yoghurts, muffins, and fresh fruit.
The location is stunning, and the room was wonderfully comfortable with thoughtful little touches that made the stay extra special. The garden is so peaceful and beautiful — it almost made me forget we were in Johannesburg!
The staff and host were incredibly welcoming and accommodating; I honestly wished we had booked a longer stay. Linda mentioned that most of their guests are business travelers, but I can’t see why it shouldn’t be a leisure getaway too. I can’t wait to come back and see the hydrangeas in full bloom this December! Nothing, Twickenham is really worth the visit.
- Marshall (10/5): Great space to stay, would come back again for sure!! - The staff was very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast in the morning and great space to stay in while in town. They were very accommodating and super friendly although I would have liked to have bottled water in the rooms at all times since one cant drink tap water when travelling. There was no bottled water in the room to drink.
- Karien (7/5): The staff rocked and the beds were comfy! - Bongani! The staff was friendly and assisted my sons very well during their trip It was quite basic. Bottled water and a fan would have been nice
- Richard Ben (7/5): It's a good place and recommend to whoever will come to Johannesburg - The quite nature of the place Cleaning the room and the hospitality
- Guest (7/5): Peaceful, with potential for improvement. - The location is perfect. The staff is friendly, and very helpful. Breakfast was fine, they can do better. The rooms are clean but old, they need a touch of modernization. The Neighbour was making noise with music, gospel throughout the night. On arrival there was no reception. No one knew we were coming while we had paid full amount for the 4 nights, and accommodation was confirmed.

- logan (1/5): Pathetic - Safe area. Rooms are ice cold, poor shower facilities.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nondumiso (5/5): Manageable - Very quiet and easy to reach and safe, easy to get to shops too. Place looked different from wat I saw on Booking.com which was disappointing
- Susanne (7/5): A charming "Old Lady" mansion who could do with a bit more maintenance glamour - Very friendly host, great and really big room, bed is super comfy. Eating dinner one night was really tasty The repetitive breakfast- same (toast) bread throughout, no cold meats or cheese to select from to mix things up a bit, coffee was not nice. I would really rather pay a bit extra for some more breakfast choices.
- Franks (10/5): Exceptional - Add more tv channels
- Danisa (9/5): Superb - The staff was very thoughtful and helpful to us as we're traveling to Auckland Park for the first time. We wish we could have stayed a bit longer.
- Michke (9/5): Superb - The staff were amazing, the rooom as close to the mall, uber is accessible and the place was relaxing. Beautiful experience
- Nicky (10/5): Exceptional -

- Lauren (8/5): Very pretty garden and beautiful house - Breakfast was fine. Freshly baked muffins were a nice touch, despite us not having any. The website advertised a coffee machine in the room, but there was none.
- Louise (10/5): Stay at Twickenham Guest House - We loved the beautiful garden. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Sandra. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We really appreciated having the option for a ride to the airport, and the trip was pleasant! That we were not able to stay longer.
- Thipe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nozipho (10/5): Exceptional -
- Renate (10/5): Excellent hospitality with homely comfort - Hospitality and friendliness were exceptional. Our room was not quite ready when we arrived, so we were given tea and coffee in the dining room in the meantime and the heater was put on to take the chill off the room. The room was heated and we had electric blankets on the bed for the cold. Breakfast catered for all needs. There was bacon and eggs, muffins, yoghurt, fruit and cereal.
- Anathi (10/5): The location is tidy and inviting. It was simple to get to, and the staff are extremely friendly. - It was chilly when I arrived, but the staff made me feel welcome and ensured my comfort. They even offered to give me a ride to my destination the next day. I prefer taking a shower over using a bathtub; it's the only thing I wasn't excited about.

- Janet (9/5): Superb - Staff were really helpful and went the extra mile to bring me milk and extra teabags in my room, to assist with the TV remote, etc.
I loved the garden and spent some time reading and listening to the birds. TV did not have good reception and the remote was faulty
I would have preferred butter and marmalade with toast
