- Matthieu (8/5): -
- Carlotta (10/5): - Tutto molto bene :) ci torniamo presto !
Grazie mille
- Ekaterina (8/5): -
- Amritraj (10/5): Best stay in Chinatown - The place was so clean and well-kept. The host was so friendly. Location was right in the middle of Chinatown but in a quieter alley
- Aleksandra (9/5): - Really cosy. Host is really accomodating and provides a tasty breakfast each morning. Location is great - in Chinatown, but a quiet little alley. Recommend if you like staying somewhere personal, with charm and character.
- Siegfried (10/5): jederzeit wieder!

- Maria Teresa (10/5): - It was right in the center of Chinatown, next to all the action, yet located on a tiny street where I could barely hear any noise. The owner was always very attentive, friendly and kind. The breakfast he prepared was very good. My private room was the perfect size and had its own toilet and shower. I recommend this place. The only downside was that the bathroom occasionally had a very unpleasant smell, sewage odor.
- Georgios (9/5): -
- Elvira (9/5): A cosy hostel in Chinatown but away from the noise. - The location. In the chaotic Chinatown, but at the beginning of a side alley, so no noise. Not far from the blue mrt. A very cozy, retro styled hostel.
The owner was a very friendly man. I stayed for two days and got different breakfast, made by him, Thai style. Sometimes there was a smell from the sink in the bathroom, but with the airco on it was negligable.

- Janikowski (10/5): - Location and host
- Marie-claire (9/5): -
- Ariella (9/5): - Such a kind host and great location in Chinatown! Very dark room with comfortable beds so we got great sleep. Breakfast was nice as well! The only thing was there was a bad smell in the bathroom from water that couldn’t drain from the sink
- Gabriela (10/5): Welcoming - Authentic place in the middle of China town, still very quiet.
Rooms are very comfortable. Tasty breakfast.
Owner is super kind and helpful. I liked everything
- Mathurin (10/5): -

- Kristina (10/5): Such a joyful time in a friendly home. - Such a welcoming feel. Not cold like a hotel. Delicious breakfast every morning. The stairs are very steep. Be very careful.
Łóżka szerokie i wygodne. Szczelne rolety. Uczynny właściciel. Dobre śniadania. W hotelu i w pokoju czuć zapach stęchlizny.
Rien
- Mingsheng (6/5): - Place was as expected. Cosy little place to stay for a night. Location is also good Was trying to sleep at 1am and I can hear people walking outside my room due to the wooden floor. Best part is when they started to wash their laundry and the laundry machine is on the 2nd floor, same floor as my room. Can hear all the noise from outside my room. Sound proofing leave much to be desired.
- Lean (10/5): -
- Phoenix (10/5): Exceptional - The room is just like the pictures, cleaned every day. The owner is super nice, and their breakfast is delicious. 10 out of 10, I'd come back!
- Melissa (10/5): Great Breakfast - I love their authentic local Thai breakfast
- Rachael (9/5): Great central room for exploring Yaowarat and the rest of Bangkok - Very cute cozy room in a building filled with character. Location was perfect for a couple days in Bangkok.
The owner was so welcoming and made us feel at home. We loved the breakfasts too.
- Sunshine (8/5): Very good -
- John (10/5): Great stay - Great location just 20mtrs from Lllhong Yarowat Road and the madness of Chinatown. However; the accommodation was in a side alley so everything quiet.
Great area. Nice host. Nothing
- Assanee (9/5): Superb -
- Adam (9/5): Greate place with a character!!! - Great location. Very clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. Very nice people and different breakfast served every morning. I stayed in the green room which was perfect. The only thing, I really liked the flor lamp which is shown on the photo, as it makes this room super cosy, however the lamp wasn’t in that room, which was a bit disappointing. Photos need to be updated.
- Yawen (10/5): Love the room and breakfast, and the staff here is awesome - Location and staff No
- Jaime (7/5): Good -
- Chia (10/5): Peaceful rest in a tastefully decorated house. - Centrally located in a quiet alley, just 5m off the street. Subway (Wat Mangkon Station, Blue Line) just a few minutes walk away; restaurants & cafes, street side food stalls are all over in the vicinity. A good room for rest and sleeping. The small bathroom has no exhaust fan/outlet, so toilet smell could be an inconvenience.
- Will (10/5): Exceptional - Great location friendly staff. Yummy breakfast. Excellent service
- Majda (7/5): Good - Room was nice, and well decorated. Owner is very sweet and attentive. Very small bathroom. In the shower there was some mold and small bugs flying around.
- Izabela (10/5): Exceptional - Unique place, homely atmosphere, Perfect localization, great host! No such a thing
- Marianne (10/5): Exceptional - An exceptional find. Small, cozy guesthouse in the heart of Chinatown. Located 1 block off Yaowarat in a small alley. Was amazingly quiet given the location. Owner was super nice and breakfast was different and delicious every morning. There are steps to the rooms, no problem for me but maybe for some. Room was exactly as pictured and lovely. From this location I could explore all of Chinatown and Talat noi on foot. 100% recommend and would be my pleasure to stay again. My favorite so far. Not a thing to dislike.
- C (8/5): Nice staff - everything reasonable I asked was granted - Convenient - near mrt and main Chinatown won’t food stalls and massage Basin water doesn’t drain properly.. breakfast Medicare for my standard .. maybe gd for westerners
- Marieke (9/5): Superb - Quiet spot in the middle of Chinatown. Nice coffee when barista is there. A small charming place with many cute details and personalised attention. Breakfast was good, though a bit of fruits would have been nice.
- Guillaume (9/5): Very good location in the heart of Chinatown! Our host was very nice and the room very confortable. - Very good location and very cute hotel/room. Nothing
- Magdalena (10/5): Excellent for couples for few days stay in Bangkok - The hotel was really exceptional, very nice host, always helpful. Excellent location in the middle of Chinatown, but located on very small, quiet street. 5min walk from MRT. Stay includes also breakfast. Room was clean with very comfortable bed, basic cosmetics in the bathroom, fresh towels and cleaning almost everyday. Entire hotel decorated in traditional Asian style with beautifully hand-painted details. Perfect for few nights stay. Nothing
- Janki (10/5): - Ling’s place was awesome. He is such a kind host. In the heart of Chinatown and close to a metra station. Laundry services also available! Can’t say enough great things about this place.
- Georgios (9/5): Superb - Very friendly and helpful, the included breakfast is also a good addition to start your day.
- Dorien (10/5): Cute hotel in Chinatown - Loved everything, location is great in the middle of Chinatown. Near Metrostation and in a quiet street. I loved the rice dishes as breakfast but you can have toast too if you’re no up for it. Nothing
- Chandrashekhar (1/5): Very bad experience, Will never recommend to any one. - This place is not for families. The toilet is on the second floor for a room of three people, and to sleep, you have to climb a steep ladder, which is unsafe. Since a lift is not available, you have to carry your luggage from a narrow and steep staircase. The location is exactly behind the restaurant's kitchen which smells typical and has lots of sound till late at night. We had specifically asked for airport pickup for a family of five people with luggage, The vehicle was arranged as a five-seater. The owner is the only person available as staff to attend the guests.
- Darin (10/5): A unique accomodation in the heart of Chinatown - One of the most quirky nice places I've ever stayed. Design looked like everything was from the 60s, like stepping into a time capsule. Room was very comfortable. The guy working there (the owners sister) was the kindest person I've met. A true bed and breakfast, very hospitable. Location was literally 10 metres from Chinatown stalls, which was unbelievable, my favourite part of BKK. There are no curtains to block out the sunlight, so prepare to wake up at 6am. Tight stairs and bed on the floor would be a problem for people with mobility issues, but was fine for us.
- Lori (10/5): Sweet, lovely, roomy, and surprisingly quiet accommodations in a perfect Chinatown location~ - Quaint and clean hotel with attractive price-point, extremely accommodating host, unbeatable location. Moved post-tour from a nearby modern lux hotel to here for a more local homier experience~ Stairs to room (unavoidable), but the kind host graciously helped me bring my bag upstairs~
- Sebastien (10/5): Wonderful in everyway: room, breakfast, people, location... - The decor is amazing and the family working there is outstanding - it was a real highlight of our trip
- Moritz (10/5): Exceptional - Great little gem in the heart of Chinatown. Very authentic feel. Nice hosts.
- Aleksandr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yew (9/5): Lovely hostel with charm! - We stayed here for a short 2 nights stop and found it lovely as it is near to the evening food market and a MRT stop. Whilst it is close to a busy market, we cannot hear much of it. The host went all the out to prepare breakfast at early in the morning for us to be ready for a tour. Lovely Chinese style breakfast prepared fresh from the market !
- Chihin (9/5): Great staying near Chinatown - The landlord was so warm and thoughtful, the hostel is above a cafe. The breakfast was yummy cooked by the landlord, The whole hostel just like a ancient chinese house back to 1900s, however everything is almost new and tidy. one thing that the toilet may be a problem, because it was not so powerful enough, we had to flush the toilet more than once after we used
- Soon (10/5): Best boutique hotel i have ever stayed - This is an underrated Boutique Hotel. It is not a hostel as advertised. Mr Leang, the person in charge of this hotel is very very friendly and helpful. I have been travelling to Bangkok for more than 10 years and this is by far the best boutique hotel i have stayed so far
- Andrew (8/5): Great Location and and Amazing Host! - The main thing you need to know is that we loved our stay here and would stay again. Yes, it’s basically a hostel, though it has private rooms with bathrooms, but didn’t seem to have people milling about. We booked this because of the location, only a few blocks — three minute walk — from the Wat Mangkorn MRT station and right near Chinatown. We were walking distance to the reclining buddha and other sights, and not too far from the waterfront ferry system.
So, how was the room? Well, you enter into a VERY small sitting area — a couple of beanbags on the floor with a low table and a tv — and then there was a ladder up to 4 single beds spread across the entire second floor. Based on the photos we saw before booking, we thought it was a staircase, so the ladder was a bit of a surprise, but the beds were very comfortable and the pillows were not too big or hard. It's impossible to “hang out” in the lower area ‘cause our bags took up much of the space and there was nothing higher than the beanbag chairs; it would be nice to have at least one “real” chair, for those of us who are older. Maybe move the tv up into the sleeping area?
The room we had backed up against the alley in front of the hotel so we heard the cats in the middle of the night and the people prepping/cleaning at the restaurant across the street, so it might get pretty noisy and, to be honest, it did! That said, they supply earplugs for you and they worked just fine. (They also have a washer/dryer that really helped us out.) The shower had lots of hot water and the whole place was really clean!
Again, it’s a great location but, all in all, there’s one primary reason to stay there ... the man who runs the place! He was so nice and helpful and warm and welcoming ... just a dream host. Every morning he prepared a special (delicious) breakfast for us and gave us directions when we needed them.
- Brett (10/5): A perfect place to stay to be right in the action. - This place is amazing. The location is fantastic (literally steps away from the action of Chinatown, but far enough off the main road that it was a quiet place to retreat to when it was time to rest/relax), the host was wonderful and brought us a hand-selected breakfast each morning, and the room was comfortable with good AC. We were in the Family Room with Bathroom and had 4 comfortable beds (for the 4 of us...2 adults and 2 kids) in a loft and nice bathroom. The living space besides the sleeping area and bathroom is small but if you are planning on exploring Bangkok and just using your room as a comfortable space to rest and recharge, it is absolutely perfect.
- Leah (10/5): Totally recommend if you want a quirky place to stay in the heart of China Town. :) - Everything.
It was super cute and quirky.
Amazing location for China Town.
Amazing owner.
Great Chinese breakfast. Nothing! Loved it all.
- Woon (10/5): Exceptional - The place and location was great, with exceptional hospitality I must say! The owner was so friendly and tend to our needs politely. I would say that this is literally a gem in Yaowarat! I wouldn't say it's a big minus, but the room had limited space, and slightly enclosed with weak ventilation.
- Leslie (7/5): Nice - Comfortable and clean rooms. Nicely decorated.
The owner is nice, and we could leave our bags in the morning before checking in.
The location is great to discover Chinatown by foot. Breakfast was lacking. Notably, the coffee served was instant coffee, disappointing when the place is a "cafe and hostel" which seems to offer better coffee options.
- Chaudhari (9/5): Superb -
- Gokce (9/5): Would go again! - Great owners, they accommodate all your requests! The location is great also, close to mrt station.
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - Perfectly located in the middle of Chinatown and with excellent connection to public transport. Tasty Chinese/Thai breakfast and very welcoming hosts. Very clean and perfect for our needs. We liked it so much that we came back at the end of our trip to stay another two nights! None.
- Susan (9/5): A lovely stay in the heart of Chinatown with great hosts. - Simple clean accommodation in heart of Chinatown in Bangkok. A sense of being in a home, very kind hosts. Being an older property it has steep narrow stairs with small treads, and spaces are tight, so not a good idea for those with limited mobility.
A little difficult to find at first - look for the “currency exchange” sign, which marks the entrance to the alleyway.
- Bearwish (10/5): The hotel is very cozy, it's like you're at your own home. Everything is perfect. - The hotel is very beautiful, both room and the interior are extraordinary, it's very cozy and feel like home. The staffs are very friendly and professional, very helpful both services and extra advice. Nothing, we enjoyed everything staying here
- Linh (9/5): Superb -
- Ching (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast is very good. Hotel-keeper is very nice.
- Ching (10/5): Exceptional - All of this hostel is very good. Hostel-keeper is kind and cute.
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Nice rooms. Staff is polite and always ready to assist. Will treat you like family. Nothing to dislike in the place.
- Bart (8/5): Very good -
- Navikta (10/5): Exceptional - I luv the hostel vibe, my friend love it the most
- Shen (9/5): Superb - Location
Super Friendly Staff
Super Helpfull Staff Tiny bathroom
- Pam (9/5): Perfect stay for agile travelers looking for a base in Bangkok’s Chinatown. - We only stayed for one night, and it was great. The location was great for a little staycation at the heart of Yaowarat. Hand-painted ceramics were created by the owner, and the decor has that eclectic blend of Thai Nouveau and layers of salon-style maximalism. There’s a quaint coffee shop on the ground floor that we unfortunately did not get to try.
- Yuen Lian (10/5): - This hostel is also a cafe by day. Very instagrammable cafe for those who are not staying overnight.
I stayed here for a week. Leang and his sister runs the place. Once you step in, you can feel how much heart they put into the place. From the warm good mornings, to specially prepped breakfast. We had different local meals prepared for us in tingkat containers every morning!
There was also a washer/dryer on site for use.
The location is a quiet alley just off of the main bustling street. You can get any food you desire just a minute walk away and get ample quiet rest once you step onto the property.
- Wing (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jbason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dominik (9/5): Superb - The owner took great care of us, staying here was a pleasure.
- Caira (10/5): Novelty family room, super comfy beds, delicious breakfast - such a cute family room up a ladder. our girls loved this novelty factor. the beds were super comfy! homestay owner so kind, welcoming and generous. breakfast provided which the owner went and bought on a daily basis.
- Chawissa (9/5): Superb -
- Jenna (4/5): disappointing! ok location but the facilities and service were terrible. the owners don’t speak English - the water was leaking onto the bed and they owners did nothing about it except change the sheets; they were quickly soaked again. the location is hard to find; down. side alley of Chinatown the facilities reeked of sewer smell and the leaking water into the bed really ruined the stay.
- Anastasia (9/5): Cozy, friendly, amazing coffee - The place is beautiful! This old wooden house is located in the middle of Chinatown, but the street is tiny, so it's not crowdy and pretty quiet at night. The place is full of beautiful vintage details and decorated with great love. At the coffee shop downstairs you can get very very good coffee. Since the house is old and wooden, the soundproofing is not very well here. I heard my neighbours watching tv and snoring as if we shared the common apartment. Also, there were people upstairs who moved in at night, so I heard them walking and talking pretty loudly. Fortunately, I had my earplugs. Glad there were no awkward sounds, haha.
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
