- Deborah (8/5): Perfect place to enjoy all that Florence has to offer. - Breakfast was lovely, warm comfortable atmosphere. Restaurants are nearby and the neighborhood is quiet enough at night. Well I have to say the mattresses should be a little better. They were a little hard for me but overall I really love the hotel.

- Nadine (10/5): Different day, different outcome - No breakfast this time as I had an early morning flight. Having stayed there a few weeks before, the breakfast was very good. I stayed there several weeks prior and had some issues with my room and the cost associated with it. I wasn’t looking forward to staying there again but no problems this time and was happy with my room.

- Anastasiya (3/5): Dirty, the price does not match the quality - The hotel looks beautiful, there's indeed a lot of space and it has an authentic style. The location is good, and the breakfast was tasty. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst stays we’ve ever had. The rooms were dirty, or at least not up to the standard of a hotel claiming such a level of quality (photos attached below). The toilet was dirty, so were the mirrors and the fridge. The rooms do not match the description — we didn’t have an iron, and slippers and bathrobes were only brought after we went down to the reception. Don’t expect to see individual shower gel bottles like in the pictures, or a coffee machine, or a bidet. Instead, you’ll get the cheapest coffee, and the minibar in this “four-star” hotel looks like a piece of paper under the table with prices written on it. In the wardrobe, you’ll find someone’s old toothpick. In general, the price does not match the quality. Everything looks a bit worn and definitely needs cleaning.

- Erinn (10/5): - The rooftop terrace was an absolute gem, you can see the Duomo from the upper most deck, and it’s a quiet refuge from a long day around town. Our room & beds were comfy. The staff made the stay perfect. Front desk and the morning breakfast crew(the breakfast spread was wonderful!)were all very kind. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
- Verified traveler (8/5): A lovely stay! - We had a lovely stay. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options and plenty of seating. The bedroom was clean and comfortable and even had a mini fridge which was a pleasant surprise. The rooftop deck was beautiful and the hotel staff were friendly. The hotel is in a good location, a 10 to 15 minute walk to the train station and close to shopping, restaurants and laundromats. The Central Market is a short walk from the hotel and a good dining option. The hotel is on an active but quiet street near a nice park which is well lit at night.

The room was spacious, a little worn with age, the safe did not function, the hallway carpeting from stairs to the room was a little dirty. On other floors, the carpets looked fine. The lobby had numerous sitting rooms which were quite nice. The hotel location was sufficient to hit all local tourist areas by foot (required a bit of walking). Hotel is within a 14 minute walk to the metro station. I would stay again, but I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to stay here again.

- Kseniia (10/5): Absolutely fantastic stay! - First and foremost - staff is just great. We have stayed there for few days and everyone we've met was just fantastic. Reception people, breakfast people, barman, cleaning team - all are most helpful, friendly and nice. There's also a dog "working" at the office, you might get a glimpse of it if you are lucky, one very good hotel worker it is. The hotel area is so pretty, it has few sitting rooms, which are very classy and picturesque- so if you are Instagram enthusiast, this is your place. Our room was large (triple room), bathroom was massive and chic. Rooftop area is lovely but I didn't get to spend much time there-we visited during winter time. Even the staircases were beautiful. I absolutely enjoyed the place and will surely be coming back, should I visit Florence again. Breakfast could have a tad more options (gets a bit dull when you stay long); We didn't manage to get AC working on cold mode (winter time) and should you get noisy neighbors- you'll hear them (might be the issue of adjoining room only). Also, there is not much of storage space in the room. But we were 3 persons staying few days in winter- we had a lot of stuff :)

- Stephanie (8/5): 2nd stay and will stay again - This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this hotel and I will stay again in the future. We had 2 rooms. One family room (which was huge) and one regular room (1 queen bed). The family room was more updated vs the 1 regular room so it is clear they do need to do some updates. The ac was cold. The water was hot. The beds were comfortable enough but the pillows were thin. Located is perfect. Close enough to walk to everything important. You can't go wrong with staying at this hotel.

The location was great and the attached bar was a fun place to relax in at the end of the day. The hotel and rooms are unique with the eclectic boutique style of all of the art and furniture. Everything has a charm and lived-in feel without being gross or old. The bed was comfortable enough and the three of us shared a room just fine.

- David (2/5): Avoid if you want a 'boutique'. Not a true 4 star - Not a boutique hotel, and not a 4 star as rest of world understands. The hotel seems to have applied 'boutique' as presentational spin to try to paper over how old it is. Flying out of Florence airport in the morning, we just wanted somewhere reasonably central for 1 night. While lobby and some upper corridors look quite nice, the moment you get into the rabbit warren to reach the bedrooms it becomes clear how old it is. (There is a lift but it is tiny & ancient, you need to carry bags up a flight of stairs from lobby first, then up and down stairs again to reach many rooms) The room we were given simply did not match in condition, upkeep or level of comfort the website pictures/description. When we challenged this we were told the hotel was fully booked, and nothing could be done (it was now quite late at night so we decided we would just go to bed). It smells old, not in a good way. Especially in rooms and corridors, less downstairs. Overnight we then noticed quite how hot and stuffy the room became, despite having the A/C turned on (utterly ineffective) and noticed how dirty & worn the room was generally. Bathroom tiny, about the size of a small wardrobe. Reception suggested we visit their 'wonderful roof terrace with an honesty bar'. What we found: Ashtrays full of cigarette butts, rusty empty fridge. View certainly not incredible. Main complaint: Quality simply does not match photos description. Not boutique, not 4 star (has bidet to tick box)

- Leslie (8/5): - As a solo traveler, I accepted that the room was relatively small but more than adequate. The only problem I had was that the room faced a large area with many water pipes (I often heard running water). Perhaps because of the water, I had an invasion of mosquitos and had 50 bites. I should have mentioned it to the staff earlier as they did offer to fumigate the room. As I was leaving the next day, I declined the offer. I am certain it would have been a better situation.
