- Y4229UGalim (4/5): Budget Hotel. Poor standard. Not a.Luxury hotel - Rooms are tiny and outdated. Lamps broken or really old. Furniture with marks all over. Very poor standard of Hilton. Even the suites are uncomfortable. I stayed at their junior suite and it was a standard double room divided by a wall and a small sofa bed with no place to relax or walk around. This is a budget Hilton , please dont book it if you are looking for a luxurious feel . Breakfast is really good and staff are okay . Staff usually humour you but they still do whatever they want..

The personnel are extremely not helpful when it comes to getting an invoice for the stay. I was not able to get an invoice and nobody bothered to respond to my emails... so if you need an invoice for your stay, that's not possible in Hilton when you booked your stay via Booking for some mysterious reason...

- tr7v8 (4/5): Poor 2 star at best! - Booked here as A. I am Silver status with Hilton and B. They're offereing us 90 days gold if we book through our corporate system. It wasn't an ideal location as the office is in the city but OK. I checked in quite late after a meeting. I got there tired as it had been a long day. There was a queue checking in. I eventually got checked in and had the normal dance of having to pay on check in & breakfast was 16 pounds. I was on the 3rd floor, the lobby had peeling paper and was very scruffy. The room when I got there was very tired. The double I had booked was a small twin. I was too tired too argue. The bed is rock hard and it has the thinnest duvet ever. Reception texted me to ask if my room was OK, I did say I'd booked a double but was told that they were fully booked. The bathroom is pretty small but adequate, this could do with refurbishment as well., for instance the wash basin is cracked. I made tea and went to bed. I cancelled breakfast in the morning as I was busy. As I left a painter was prepping the walls by the lift to repaint it. They need to do the whole place. Check out was slow and they did refund me the £16 cost. The downstairs area is pretty big, scruffy and quite full. I now realise why I stopped booking Hiltons, this is it.

- Ruth (5/5): This hotel was not value for money there are much better in the area. - Breakfast and the restaurant staff were very good and so was the conceirge, actually they were brilliant Hotel is tatty and poorly maintained. Carpets are dirty and there is no extracter fan in the very small bathroom and had rust stains on the paint work around the door hinges. And chipped paint. Checking in was a nightmare, had ordered a day room so was to have access at 9am. Did not get access till 10.00am due to the housekeeping staff having a meeting. After arriving from a lond haul flight from Australia this was not appreciated.

- tempeltravel (4/5): Hilton London Kensington is more suitable for large group stays - Hilton London Kensington is more suitable for large group stays rather than individual travelers. The rooms feel quite outdated and are in need of proper renovation. In terms of room size and overall standard, it felt closer to a Hampton-level property than what I would normally expect from a Hilton hotel. On the third day of my stay, the breakfast area was extremely crowded. I had to wait around 15 minutes for a table and eventually decided to skip breakfast altogether because of the long wait and overcrowding. Overall, the experience did not meet my expectations.

- Oliver (8/5): Excellent stay, worth every penny and superbe kind staff - Room was clean and well taken care off. Only minor issue regarding one of the beds where the wheels had come off, but this was swiftly solved by the staff. A different room was offered, so superbe geasture of management. Honestly, there wasn't much not to like. The only issue is that when leaving really early (4 AM departure) getting out of the frontdoor took a while to figure out. A small warning instruction list would have been nice to figure out how to get out.

Lubomir is the super star at the bar, with his courtesies, hospitality, knowledge of the drinks. He is very welcoming, warm personality, professional with superb communication skills. - Kameil (4/5): Expected better for a Hilton - Location The shower didn’t work at all, and when it did the water dribbled out so we both didn’t manage to shower that day which was extremely annoying and a massive inconvenience. The aircon failed on us at it kept resetting itself so was blistering hot at night.

Posizione molto comoda per me (l'ufficio dove devo andare è a meno di dieci minuti e piedi ed è un'ottima posizione per muoversi con i servizi pubblici verso l'aereoporto di Gatwick per la vicinanza alla stazione Shephard Bush della linea overground Mildmay). Vicine anche le linee metro a Shephard Bush e Holland Park. Letto buono ma per me materasso leggermente morbido. Non ho avuto modo di provare la colazione, che sembra però abbondante. Manca un vero e proprio ristorante ma il bar ha dei piatti interessanti e non banali. Palestra molto bene attrezzata, sia con una sala con macchine e una per la pesistica, manca solo un pò di spazio per il corpo libero (ci sono 2-3 postazioni al massimo per fare corpo libero). Gradito il rifornimento giornalieri gratuito di acqua minerale naturale. Una delle quattro mattine in cui sono stato è mandata l'acqua calda, purtroppo proprio dopo che avevo finito l'ora di allenamento in palestra. L'ho fatto presente al personale e la sera al mio rientro in camera ho trovato un voucher per 2 bevute gratis per due persone ciascuna, accompagnate da un cortesissimo biglietto di scuse scritto a mano in bella calligrafia: attenzione molto apprezzata. Aumenterei le postazioni per il corpo libero in palestra, magari disponendo diversamente i pesi (oggi sono in un raccoglitore orizzontale lungo 3-4 metri: in verticale libererebbero una o due postazioni di corpo libero). Manca in minibar in camera.

- Jason (5/5): Disappointing for a Hilton - The bed was very comfortable and the room was tidy The bathroom was a bit grimey, staff left used room-service plates in the corridor for two days without collecting them and were dismissive when I raised this with them. The staff were generally not very helpful.

- Ufuk Sezekkaplan (7/5): Met my expectations. - The hotel is in a very nice neighborhood; transportation is easy since it’s close to the Central Line subway and buses run frequently. Breakfast is clean and offers a wide variety of options. The elevators are fast and efficient, and there are plenty of staff members on hand. there can be lines at the coffee machines (the number of machines could be increased). Since the airports are quite far away and taking a taxi to the airport is very expensive, alternatives could be developed (such as partner taxis, coaches, or directing customers to relevant train lines). A taxi ride to Gatwick costs almost 200 pounds and takes about 1.5 hours.

- Jessica (5/5): Just about passable. Won’t stay again. - The location was fairly good. Short walk from Wood Lane and Shepherds Bush tube stations, taxis outside the hotel, along with a bus stop. The breakfast was great, such a variety to choose from. Bed sheets were very soft and comfortable. The majority of staff I encountered were rude. Check in took ages! Huge queues were forming. It got to about 20 minutes of me being in the queue to check in and I saw a manager walk by. I told her the wait time was unacceptable and she abruptly put down some envelopes and said ‘ok I’ll check you in’. The staff at breakfast were not welcoming at all. The lady who asked for our room numbers was abrupt. The hotel is looking very tired. Crusty, stained carpets in our room. Our room was an interconnecting room, which we didn’t ask for. I could hear the man snoring his head off from about 10.30pm. Really unpleasant, the door was very thin between the interconnecting rooms.

Walking distance to local restaurants, a shopping centre (mall) and strip shopping including a pharmacy. Postbox conveniently located across the road if you’re a post card sender like me. Extension cords and power boards provided on request. Very clean. Rooms are tired looking. Quite a distance from central London. No PowerPoints near bed - difficult now with our tech reliance. The bed was too hard for me.

- L7142MDemmaf (8/5): Excellent staff conveniently located - I stay here often with work. Some of the rooms are starting to become a bit tatty but the staff are a true credit to the hotel. Rooms are cleaned well, staff are long serving, polite, helpful and friendly. Staying away so often, the value of a friendly smile and greeting cannot be underestimated.

- Tourist778929 (4/5): Not worth your money, time or Hilton points - I stayed at this hotel back in 2019 on a trip to London. I remembered liking the hotel enough so when I saw that it was available again at a decent price for my trip this year I booked it. As a loyal Hilton member who has stayed in various properties throughout Hilton’s portfolio I can honestly say skip this one. I stayed for one night and it truly was one too many. I had used the app to request an early check in and arrived at the hotel to learn it could not be accommodated. The front desk worker seemed bothered by my presence. She suggested I wait by the bar for my room to be ready so I thought that meant it would be ready soon, however she said it would likely not be available prior to 3pm which was the standard check-in time. We ended up leaving to enjoy the city opposed to hanging out for hours until the room was available. The room itself is seriously outdated. There was very little airflow in the room, a massive crack behind the TV that seemed to be water damage and a small and dingy bathroom. The supplies had not been restocked for the shower, the shower pressure was very low, and the bathroom didn’t seem like it had been cleaned in quite some time. Our bed was basically atop a wooden plank. Any time we moved the bed made an awful sound and nothing about it was comfortable. The hotel is in need of a serious upgrade and not worth the 20,000 points I used to help make the stay more affordable. I’d urge you to consider staying elsewhere.
