Guest Reviews
- Jose Enrique (2/5): Abandoned and isolated locality requieres renovation -
- Carolina (9/5): -
- La Cagnina (2/5): - they changed the sheets and tried to help us the sheet were a bit dirty, humidity was terrible and there was no security at the entrance so everybody could enter the building
- Silva (3/5): Normal - Ubicación si vas a playa caracol.

- Anonymous (3/5): Poor - The place was so sketchy. It had pictures of strippers all along the walls, the bathtub was just in the room, and the beds we way to broken in it felt disgusting staying there. The main wall was a window just to th hallway and the place was just so creepy.
- Alize (9/5): Superb -
- Beaird (3/5): Poor -
- Willina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nafisa (9/5): Superb -
- Paris (1/5): I didn’t stay. - I liked how appealing it looked online. What I didn’t like, was the actual location and appearance of the room they tried to provide us (Nike)
- Marina (9/5): Superb - Cozy room. Clean and comfortable. Very hard to find entrance to check in. No hotel name anywhere.
- Isaiah (10/5): Exceptional - Everything! Nothing!
- Ahmed (7/5): Good -
- Spilimbergo (5/5): It was okay for what we needed (sleeping at night) but I wouldn’t recommend it. - The breakfast was cheap and okay, not the best. We didn’t have it included and there was only one guy working so it was a little bit slow. The location is near the main street with bars and restaurants. We never had hot water in the shower in 4 days. We told the receptionist about it and they try to help but we still didn’t get any hot water. The room was okay but not that clean, sheets and towels had old stains on them.
- Erika (5/5): Passable - Location and price The toilet stunk and there was no hot water.
- Walteer (3/5): Poor -
- Florin (6/5): Mold smell and noise - The room was spacious and relatively clean (there was some dust on some pieces of furniture and behind the bath tub). The hotel is very noisy. The entrance for all the rooms is in the main halway. You hear everything and everyone. I had only 1 good night of sleep out of 4.
There is a constant smell of mold in the entire hotel, and our room was no exception.
Our room had no windows. Therefore, you could not let the room air out to get rid of the smell.
- Justin (5/5): Passable -
- Sérgio (3/5): Choose something else - Location No windows, dirty, noisy, out of date information in their booking.com page
- Walter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Scott (4/5): Disappointing - The location is good as you can walk to the beach. The hotel offers very little in terms of amenities. Despite advertising that food is available throughout the day, no food was being served. The place felt deserted, with no staff or guests in sight.
The hotel also needs significant maintenance, as there were numerous flashing bulbs, and the hot tub was out of order.
If you decide to book here, keep in mind that it may not live up to the expectations set by the photos.
- Teemu (8/5): - Good location. Decent room!
- Adam (1/5): Should be removed and banned - awful, its a squat made of abandoned shopping mall this should not be on Boloking! awful, its a squat made of abandoned shopping mall this should not be on Boloking!
- Cesar (7/5): Good -
- Andrei (8/5): - not bad
- Jonathan Daniel (8/5): - .
- Valle (8/5): Very good -
- Diana (2/5): - It was all fine until i got home and noticed my credit card was s t o l e n from my wallet.if u have valuables keep them on your person because they can go missing. The stay was okay the ac was the saving grace. The staff was frendly. But i dont think ill stay there again or recomend this place to my friends or family.
- Hector (4/5): - Well, the hotel is in really bad shape
- Claudia (10/5): Great hotel, will definitely rent again. - I loved that each room has its unique features, we stayed in the Fendi room the first night it was very nice, but there was an issue with the AC which they quickly gave us a different room, the Prada room which was bigger and had 2 king size beds, the decor, the cleanliness, everything was better than expected. I also loved that it was In walking distance to hotel zone, and the price we paid was great, it was not expensive at all for 5 nights, 3 times less than what I would have paid in a different hotel. From outside you can tell it is a very old building but once you enter the rooms, it really doesn't matter because they are wonderful, did not disappoint at all, will definitely rent again.
- William (8/5): - Is centrally located and inexpensive.
- Christina (6/5): - Nice room, but terrible building, all wet after heavy rain and poor surounding. Staff at reception was very friendly and spoke very good english.
- Ney (2/5): Very poor - The hotel is in a good area, close to many places It's a really old hotel, yes the price is good but everything cheap has an expensive price in the end, no microwave on the room, the fridge don't cool down, and no running water on my last day
- Romy (6/5): Value for money is good - The room is very big and spacious, it’s also very clean! It’s located in an abandoned building and kind of scary and lonely, but overall okay
- Jashanpreet (7/5): Good - It is good for price. No microwave, street parking, wifi connection was very bad
- Aaron (10/5): - The staff was kind and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. It was in the "Hotel Zone", so it was easy to get around to places.
- smvargas6 (2/5): You get what you pay for. - Well I just needed 1 night so found this place for location and price and the pictures didn't look too bad. Hard to find because the entrance is in an alley. We go to check in and there were people waiting..1 was complaining about no hot water or pressure. Checked in and went to our room..walked through the abandoned mall they made into a hotel. Our room had a weird smell, the bed was uncomfortable and the gaps in the door and weak lock made me feel uneasy so my husband put a chair in front of it. The bathroom was a dressing room covered in mirrors kind of creepy. I would not stay here again.
- Oran (10/5): Exceptional - Room was massive and beds were very comfortable. Location was perfect - close enough to the beach that you could walk easily but also away from the noise! Nothing
- Jason (1/5): Bad -
- Oscar (10/5): - Cute hotel. And can't beat the charm of this boutique hotel, near everything. Restaurants, clubs, shopping and stores to stock up the collers.
- Jaynisha (6/5): - Mosquitoes around the hotel, need to be careful. Me and my husband got so many bites from mosquitoes first night and then we have to use mosquitos spray on our bodies. Regardless staff was friendly and cooperative.
- PAOLA (6/5): - This is a good option if you are looking for something affordable in the zona hotelera and wont spend much time in the hotel! It had nice restaurants and stores attacked to the outside of it because the hotel used to be an old shopping mall! Felt safe walking around! Cons: weird smell in the hotel, the buffet was not working, and no hot water! can be hard to find since its in an alley way!
- Adrian (8/5): - A doc al precio
- Aaron (6/5): Pleasant -
- Greta (1/5): Bad -
- Joanna (5/5): Ok for one night but not recommended for longer stays - Localization was ok. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Smell in the room, not sure if from air-con? . Room is located in some kind of shopping centre, with no windows. There is glass wall with curtain that did not blind the view from outside and sometimes you can see shadows of people passing by. Payment is in cash only, but they have no change to give, and are no eager to return the change, we needed to ask for it couple of times.
- Diandy Daniel (10/5): - The best
- Monica (6/5): - You get what you pay for! I was asleep at 1230am when i was waken to a male trying to enter my room. Twice he said it was his room. The room didn't have a phone to call the staff i googled the hotel number called the desk. The guy at the desk said he was on his way to the room never arrived. I will never book here again. Spoke to staff at check out all he said im sorry. No report nothing was made.
- Manuel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cedric (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mohammad (1/5): Bad - Every thing in this hotel was so bad Every thing in this hotel was so bad
- Mohammad (1/5): The worst hotel I have ever stayed in - The price was expensive for that cheap hotel, the service is bad, the money for the room isn’t refundable, the bathroom doesn’t have a door, so I didn’t like anything The price was expensive for that cheap hotel, the service is bad, the money for the room isn’t refundable, the bathroom doesn’t have a door, so I didn’t like anything
- Ricky (8/5): Very good -
- thalia (10/5): - It was nice
- Philip (4/5): - Cost effective accommodation in Cancun.
- Kateryna (10/5): - Great place, love it, very convenient location
- Jessie (7/5): Good -
- Gabriella (4/5): Okay, but NEED to get their hot water fixed. - The location was good, it was clean, well lit, close to bus stop, and easy enough. I didn't have any warm water. Luckily my friends were also staying here so I got to use their shower. I was in the David Beckham room.
- Armando (2/5): Beyond budget - should be condemned. - What an absolutely poor experience. This hotel is very aged and in incredibly poor repair. It pains me to write this review because I imagine that the owners and staff are trying, but this building is beyond saving. It looks like it’s been abandoned for years.
To start, the hotel is located above and behind a strip of stores (think flea market). The main entrance to the hotel is in an alleyway along the side at the end of the strip. No signage.
The lobby is a counter off to the side. A non-functioning escalator and some paper signs. I tried to cancel my desertion when I walked in, but the week was paid and there would be no refund. I almost did it, but I couldn’t find another room close by at a reasonable price.
The room itself has been refurbished, but poorly so. There is a tub in the center of the room with exposed plumbing. The towels were stained. The bed sheets were stained. My son actually asked if this was the kind of hotel where people paid by the hour.
The second escalator at the far end has been carpeted with artificial turf. The amwaterfall at the rear entrance is run dry and covered in old algae. The entire rear side is covered in bird droppings. The wooden deck leading into the rear entrance is rotted and missing boards.
I promise, you could not make this up. There is a nasty hot tub in the third floor in the center of the hallway.
And to top it all off, we did not have a single hot shower for the six days. Not one!
I am so happy to have checked out.
- Miguel (8/5): - We had a great experience at Spazio Boutique. Room was spacious and clean and the staff was friendly and prompt to take care of any need that came up.
The only thing we found a bit off was the themes on the rooms but I guess it's part of the charm of this hotel.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Cheap, but dirty. Would not recommend. - The good:
Location was excellent. We were able to walk 10 minutes to all the different pickup points for our various activities.
The bad:
Our room looked nothing like the pictures. The shower and toilet floors were connected at the same level, so that shower water got everywhere around the toilet. There was a faint smell of sewage in our room. There was no hairdryer or floor mat provided. The hottest water was lukewarm at best.
This hotel used to be a shopping center, but they converted the stores into hotel rooms. The layout is a bit strange, but the lack of natural lighting / windows is the real deal breaker.
If I went to Cancun again, I would not stay at this hotel again.
- Aditya (2/5): - There were cockroaches in the assigned room. I was then moved to a smaller room without getting refunded on the difference in price.
- David (3/5): Poor - More like a converted shopping centre. .. a weird experience. Lots of broken everything.
- Prateek (5/5): Cheap place to stay, just pay, sleep and leave. - Low cost, so don’t expect much. You get what you pay for. Cleaning, bathroom clogged, breakfast, no toiletries and drinking water provided.
Every time we entered the reception area, there was always someone complaining about something.
- Tom (2/5): Hotel had no hot water or internet - The room was clean and nicely decorated. Not having hot water for both days I stayed there was why I gave this hotel such a low score. It wasn't even warm. Plus NOWHERE was this hotel called "Spazio". It took me almost an hour to find it when I was in front of it the whole time. I think they keep changing the name to shake off older bad reviews. Some hot water would have been nice. Even warm water would have been nice. But 2 days in a row I had no hot water. I was able to connect to the wifi, but the internet was so slow I was better off finding a restaurant and using their wifi.
- Terry (3/5): It’s was decent at best - Location Know hot water and staff was rude
- Ricardo (8/5): - Good location, right in the hotel zone.
- Brittny (1/5): Bad -
- Maria (8/5): - Conveniently close to many stores and restaurants
- Valdev (8/5): - It was a nice location close to all restaurants and very clean everything was working too but Wifi needs to improve just a little Customer Service was excellent
- Liliana (6/5): Overall for one night stay it was pretty decent. Definitely recommend if you want something cheap. - The rooms were nice and spacious. The beach was very close by The love looked like and abandoned mall and also it was so hot it felt suffocated.
- Jose (8/5): - Not a 5 star hotel, but definitely a place i would return.
- Reinaldo (4/5): Disappointing - Cleanliness No TV functioning
People talking super loud outside in the lobby area..no signs to remind guests are sleeping. Or staff asking them to lower laughing and talking for 20-30 minutes at a time without going into their rooms.
- Luis (2/5): - The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They assigned me a room adjacent to the front desk, but unfortunately, there wasn't a solid wall separating the room from the hallway and front desk area. The thin plastic wall allowed for sound to travel easily, and I could hear every conversation happening.
When I brought up my concern, the lady promptly moved me to another room. However, the new room had an unpleasant smell and the AC wasn't functioning properly. While I understand it was a competitive price for just one night, there are definitely areas that could be improved upon.
- Anonymous (4/5): not worth the money - staff no parking despite the property description. no hot water took cold showers
- Yarin (4/5): Disappointing -
- Deigenytris (5/5): Passable -
- Maria (9/5): Superb -
(6/5): Pleasant -
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
