- Victoria (1/5): Noisy, malfunctioning AC - The location was good. I am giving this experience the lowest rating I have ever given because we just weren't able to sleep in our room. I understand it's a budget hotel and there were other issues like cleanliness, but fundamentally I just need to be able to get a good nights sleep to give a hotel a decent rating. We were put in a ground floor room (I have never before encountered these), so that even with the windows shut you could hear every sound outside. I would have never booked such a room, had I known. But the worst was that we could not control our air conditioner--it was always on, blowing very cold air directly into your face as you sleep. We contacted the front desk and they said the controls in the wall should work to turn the fan down or the temperature up, but it didn't. Then they offered to simply turn it off, which we tried for half the night, but then the room became a coffin. We tried opening the window, and now it was like sleeping on the sidewalk (see above). So we had to call the front desk at 4 am to ask to turn it back on. They seemed unfazed by this and didn't check on us the next day or offer to fix it. So the next night we just tried to sleep with AC on without being able to adjust it down--I still have the sniffles. It was awful, but luckily only two nights.

- Akpinar (2/5): Ver beneden maat, echt geen aanrader - De locatie was goed bereikbaar vanaf het centrum , wij hebben het steeds wandelend gedaan. . Meteen bij aankomst viel direct op dat het hotel echt heel erg slecht onderhouden is. De staat van het pand liet op alle punten echt te wensen over. De kamer maakte een zeer onverzorgde indruk. In de badkamer lag het kitwerk op vrijwel elke hoek los of was het zelfs volledig verdwenen, wat niet alleen slordig oogde maar ook onhygiënisch aanvoelde. Randen waren vies en verkleurd, aan alles was te zien dat er al lange tijd geen onderhoud meer was uitgevoerd. Ook de rest van de kamer liet hetzelfde beeld zien: beschadigde afwerking, verouderd meubilair en een algemeen gevoel van achterstallig onderhoud en daardoor echt niet schoon te maken. Had medelijden met het schoonmaakpersoneel. Het geheel gaf niet het gevoel van een frisse of comfortabele hotelkamer. Voor de prijs die wordt gevraagd, (160 ex tax) hadden we echt een beter onderhouden en verzorgde accommodatie verwacht. Helaas voldeed dit hotel daar absoluut niet aan.

Iluminação 4000k e pouca opção, parecia uma cozinha ou iluminação de de cabeceira muito escuro. Secador de cabelo ao lado da pia com emenda no cabo.
- Stanislav (7/5): Right in the city center, perfect for exploring Milan - Perfect location: Right in the center of Varenna, everything is literally at your doorstep. Cleanliness: The apartment was very clean and tidy, which we really appreciated. Staff: Extremely pleasant people; the host was very helpful and assisted us with everything. Atmosphere: The apartment is spacious, beautiful, and very warm. Soundproofing: You can hear the sound of the sewage pipes. The pipes are located inside the drywall partitions, so the noise of running water is quite audible. Shower area: The shower box is a bit small. Also, there is no handheld shower head — only a fixed overhead shower, which isn't always convenient.

As luzes do quarto não funcionavam bem, e o ar condicionado estava estragado.

- Daydream550411 (2/5): Awful guest and front desk management - Hotel is in a very convenient location, one of the best hotels when it comes to the proximity to attractions and the Milan centrale station making it a convenient choice if you have an early morning flight. Facilities too are decent, however the hotel staffs are super rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. Considering me from Middle East, Ibis standards are completely different atleast for their hotels in Dubai, Riyadh and throughout UAE. The receptionist called me and the way he spoke surprised me. For a moment, I was even doubting if it was genuinely from the hotel as he lacked respect and was demanding. The way he spoke was like - If you want the room, come and take it. Despite I having email communication with their Customer care, he was like - I don’t have any update about what CS have told you and I don’t care. Worst part - he hung up the call on my face while I was talking. I guess the gentleman woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I’m seriously reconsidering to chose Ibis for any of my future trips.

Top Lage, Metro Stationen in der Nähe sowie Restaurants und Geschäfte. Der einzige Kritikpunkt betrifft den Check-in. Der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption wirkte leider arrogant und wenig serviceorientiert. Das hat den ersten Eindruck etwas getrübt. Alle anderen Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Nachtportier ist sehr hilfsbereit und ausgesprochen angenehm im Umgang.

- Renata (3/5): Nightmare hotel, avoid! - Breakfast is good, all the usual option plus a real coffee made by staff, not machine coffee. I couldn’t believe I was in a Ibis hotel, it is for sure the worst Ibis Styles. They just painted an old hotel and that’s it. I was given room 112 first and I was shocked with the state of the corridor to get into the room, it is unreal for a Ibis standard. The room seemed to be cleaned but it was smelly, like not deep cleaning has been done for a while. The first floor is too bad and I requested a different room at reception that was on second floor and a little bit better in relation to cleaning but drain hole in shower had no cover, the hole was open all the time. Fridge does not work, even though it was turned on with water bottles inside, it just not get cold at all. Floor is old, no carpet and the heating is noisy.
- SERGIO (8/5): Ótima opção para uma noite. - Quarto espaçoso , talvez tenha ocorrido uma confusão e reservaram 2 quartos para 2 pessoas cada e acabaram reservando 2 para 4 pessoas , mas no final acabamos ficando com os 2 mesmo. Café da manhã bom. O chuveiro está um pouco gasto com os furos desuniformes.
