They used to have free parking, so it was a bummer it changed. The rooms are always clean, but could use some repairs. Everything always works. The hotel is quiet and friendly. Breakfast is great. The room door stuck and same with the bathroom door. Floor was sort of vacuumed but there were noticeable crumbs from the last guests on the carpet. Guest service was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was standard fair. Keep in mind they share a parking lot with a strip mall and direct you to park behind the stores if there is space.

Again, my mistake and I’m paying the price, but doesn’t represent the empathy of Marriotts service tenants.

- marisL7414RR (10/5): Customer Service done right; Convenient Location; Budget Friendly - Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista is an older property but what it is lacking in terms of modern decor (rooms were still comfortable and clean), it makes up for with the most pleasant, helpful and accommodating staff. I would especially like to recognize Veronica, Isaiah and Carmen. Veronica is amazing! She is calm under pressure and will go above and beyond to assist guests and ensure that they have what they need. This was made evident from the beginning and throughout my stay, when she needed to assist one of my friends with resolving a booking issue with a third party who were paid but had failed to make the reservation. Veronica remained calm as they worked through the very tense situation which took up to an hour to resolve and she sought to have the third party provide some incentive for the inconvenience and upset that they had caused to the guest. Throughout the rest of the stay, she attended to any issues promptly and always maintained a pleasant and welcoming demeanor. Isaiah is a gem. He is very pleasant and courteous, always with a smile and a kind word. He checked me in and helped me to find my packages, after Amazon split my order and shipped as multiple orders. We met on a very busy day and he did a good job trying to address everyone's needs without them having to wait too long. Carmen was especially wonderful with helping my friend locate a 3 packages which was sent to the wrong hotel. She called and checked on the order and though the hotel could only confirm one, she encouraged us to ask them to double check when we went to the collect. We were able to locate all the packages at the other hotel and when she saw us next, before we could update her, she had remembered and asked if we were able to find our packages. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and friendly and though my stay was short, the memory of such great customer service will live on. While the purpose of my trip was not for theme parks and other such adventures, they are in close proximity along with shopping outlets. There are also several restaurants right outside the doors and across the street. We were told that upgrades were coming to the hotel but regardless, I would stay again and I would recommend as a place to stay.

We enjoy her personality & hope Marriott takes care of this loyal & dedicated employee. During check-in, she made the process smooth as she trained a new employee on the reservation system. We book through Marriott, so no issues with reservation. Rooms are clean & AC was plenty cool. All amenities were excellent. Server @ Breakfast is always happy and does a great job serving a busy dining room. Many guests are off to the Parks in the AM, so it's best to visit the Breakfast area before kids get up. This Hotels location is great for shopping & restaurants. A new charge is the $10. per day for parking. The Corporate video needs to be updated. Rooms have gone through a spot renovation & we were very happy with 5th Floor Suite. Yes....we will be back

Can’t expect top of the line for the price, but in every way that matters for a short affordable stay, it’s acceptable. Location is great, staff is very friendly, complimentary breakfast good enough for when you’re running late to the parks and just need a quick bite to hold you over. Beds were comfortable with clean white linens. I hate carpet, but it seemed updated and didn’t smell, so that was fine. AC worked well. Parking was fine. Bathrooms were the most outdated part— but toilets were decent, plenty of hot, full force water, but the tubs could definitely use some replacing.

Our flight to Orlando arrived at 8am so we arrived at the hotel by approx 1030 to check of our room might be ready. I think her name was Carmen, and she found us a room, even though we were so early. She was going out of her way to help everyone, even though she was working the front desk on her own. The free breakfast was perfect. It had many great choices for hot and cold items. And again the breakfast staff was great, especially the kind gentleman serving the hot food. The location was amazing. In a strip mall that had great food, gas, and gift items available for purchase. It was also less than 15 minutes away from Universal and Disney springs. The hotel itself needs to be renovated. The safe didn't work and we were advised that they were removing the safes as they didn't have any to replace the broken ones. The AC machine was old and would freeze the person sleeping next to it while others in the room could be warm. Many little fixtures need fixing but all in all, I would stay there again if I just needed it while I went to the parks, or maybe I would find a nicer place to try.

Breakfast was sufficient for a quick bite with basic selections but eggs were terrible. The restaurant server was very pleasant daily, while welcoming everyone with a smile and a good morning. Over all good value hotel. Close to Wawa, Dollar Tree, and various restaurants. Easy drive to Disney Springs and just about anywhere. Unfortunately the GPS suggests you drive through the back of the shopping center to get to the hotel. This is terrible as you’re driving through the shopping center trash area. Not the best first impression. The landscaping was not maintained as all the bushes were dead upon arrival. I was pleasantly delighted that the bed was comfortable! While there we took the complimentary shuttle to Epcot, where you can take transport to Magic Kingdom. Bus arrived on time! That’s always a plus.

Me dijeron que se iba a tomar como garantía y que al final de mi estadía se iba a liberar el dinero. Yo todo confiado acepté sin problemas . Siete días después del check out el dinero procesó en mi banco. Por suerte todavía estaba en Orlando y tuve que ir al hotel , me dijeron que cometieron un error, pero que no podían revertir el cobro en ese momento porque la máquina de pago de las tarjetas estaba malograda justo en ese momento. Me enviaron un correo para asegurarme que me iban a devolver el dinero , pero tuvo que pasar más de un mes desde ese día , sumado a los constantes reclamos en booking , finalmente booking me devolvió el dinero . El hotel nunca me respondió los mensajes a través de la app de booking y no me respondieron los emails.

Con respecto al desayuno, no hay variedad, todos los días exactamente lo mismo, rescato el café. En la ducha no hay antideslizante y al abrir la llave se empieza a llenar la tina sin que uno así lo haga, se torna resbaloso. El hotel en sí, tiene buena ubicación y esta en una zona tranquila, pero para las tarifas que tienen ahora y que ademas extra por parqueo, se está quedando obsoleto.

There is a Winn Dixie and Publix grocery store near by as well. The rooms are clean amd comfortable. Breakfast has a variety of cold and hot foods. There is a free Disney and Universal Park shuttle at this hotel. Its about 20 minutes from the oulet mall and Disney Springs.

My only real complaint and one that would make me hesitant to stay again was the parking situation. Parking was really bad, you shared the parking lot with the strip center next door. Some parking was behind the strip center it was both dark after the sunset, isolated, and the area was filled with over flowing dumpsters, trash was everywhere. This is not a safe situation. Again the hotel itself was fine.

It is listed as a 3-star hotel but the service and guest experience deserve 5 stars. This location is located in a plaza with restaurants, parking may be an issue during peak season. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are out-dated and could use an upgrade, the only complaints are the shower's hot water takes a very long time to get hot and the air conditioner in the room is quite loud. Other than that, very good for it's price and location. Complimentary breakfast selection isn't bad however the breakfast staff needs some recognition for a job well done!!

- O6241KXshannond (10/5): Great location, amenities and atmosphere! - We recently travelled to Florida for a vacation. We stayed 7 nights at Fairfield inn at Marriott village. We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is great, tucked away in Marriott village but close enough to easily uber to all the attractions. There are a number of great restaurants within a very short walk. There is a great outdoor pool and gym on site, as well as a little arcade and playground for the kids. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast every morning which was very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable. All the staff members we interacted with were very friendly. My only complaint would be that we never knew what time to expect the housekeepers, sometimes they came in the late morning and sometimes it was later in the day around 5pm. This was kind of annoying after being gone doing activities in the day and then having the housekeepers come after we were back in the room wanting to relax. The hotel also offers a shuttle service to the parks, we didn’t use this service but noticed that a lot of guests did daily. We will defitnetly book to stay here again next time we are in Florida!
