The room was way too small, with limited amenities (no air ventilation in the bathroom, tv did not work properly, wifi was spotty, bed were very small for adults). Most important, while complementary breakfast was fresh and of good quality, it proposed limited choice and presented the same, small items day after day. Sadly, there was a lot of food waste; something that was duly reported, and beyond the staff control.

Verified traveler (10/5): Unbeatable location - Opera Cadet is a very nice hotel with solid and tasteful décor, a spacious breakfast room that opens unto a small backyard garden and friendly and helpful reception staff. Our room was small but functional. The location is unbeatable, two minutes from the Metro station, a short walk to Galleries Lafayette and plenty of good restaurants nearby . All in all excellent value for your money.

After we requested to transfer, the Wi-Fi improved, but the connection is still intermittent. This is the worst Wi-Fi service from a hotel I've ever experienced.

Houskeepoing staff is always working hard to keep everthing in place and clean. The breakfast is extraordinary. Many choices, fresh meats and cheezes, and breads. Vegatable were my favorite as well as the scrambled eggs. Stop looking now, and book this establishment.

There was an issue with our air-conditioner and during the middle of the night, we contacted the staff at the reception who promptly looked into the matter. The next morning, he made a note of the issue and someone arrived to fix the problem. We appreciated the efficiency and helpfulness of the staff at the Opera Cadet Hotel!

QualityReview (10/5): - This is our first trip to Paris and Europe. We spent 9 days touring Paris and going out of town to Brussels. We booked this hotel through Expedia as a package Hotel + Flight and it seemed like a good deal in the middle of tourist season. Hotel Opera Cadet has two things going for it: location and free breakfast buffet. The location is outstanding, it is literally across the street from the Cadet metro station and is on the same line as the train to the Louvre. The location is central and a family that can walk several kilometers a day, or runners, can literally walk to the Louvre, Sacre Coeur, Moulin Rouge, and Galleries Lafayette and other museums and attractions. Otherwise, the Cadet Metro station is conveniently located right across the street. The hotel also sits on the Rue Cadet which has many shops including patisseries, brasseries, restaurants, and supermarkets. We would buy inexpensive and delicious pastries from La Parisienne that is a 2 minute walk from the hotel entrance and it would be our dinner after a long day of museums and sight seeing. There is also a Franprix supermarket nearby if you want to experience what local grocery shopping. Franprix is inexpensive with good quality. A meal from Franprix would be a quarter of what would spend at a restaurant. There is also a Starbucks and McDonalds across the street. The breakfast is ideal for visitors on a tight schedule, it starts at 7AM. You can have breakfast and then take the metro.
Pat (10/5): - The staff was very helpful, professional and welcoming, The only issue is the hotel needs to talk to the taxi company because they almost scammed me double the price from the hotel to the CDG airport. They did not put on the meter and kept yelling at us to pay a lot more.

The local area had many shops and restaurants very close. There was also a metro station practically next-door to make travel around the city easy. Will definitely stay here again.

Mel (6/5): - The hotel situated in the heart of the city. When you step out from the hotel you can have lunch/dinner in one of the restaurants in the street. Hotel has its own parking which is very convenient if you travel by your car but you don't need to get your car to travel around as the underground and bus stations are very close. (Cadet Underground Station is the nearest- 2min away). It is safe and crowded area. There are many big hotels, restaurants, shops and a pharmacy very close to the hotel. But unfortunately the hotel is dated and the breakfast buffet is very weak for a 4 star hotel! I would rather getting fresh bakery that is just opposite to the hotel.

Breakfast was good. The only negative was the noise outside from the main road, bin collection woke us all up at about 6am.
Ian (8/5): Great central location - We were very pleased with the hotel and the location was very good, easy to get anywhere in the city or if it's local restaurants, bars, cafe' etc then there is lots to choose from on the doorstep.
Culbert (10/5): The Best Location with a Great Staff - Amazing place with friendly staff. I love the location which seems to central to everything, also right near a metro station that takes you near all the great sites.
