La sécurité, l’hôtel étant placé face aux institutions la présence policière est importante. Le cadre, entre la terrasse avec vue sur Rome et le hall incroyablement beau. La literie est un peu vieille. On sentait les ressorts du matelas. Mais c’était dans cette chambre, peut-être que ce n’est pas le cas dans les autres.

Os banheiros precisam passar por uma renovação. O edifício todo precisa de uma renovação... Bem caído, mas Itália é assim, meio decadente mesmo. Mas muito boa a localização e limpo, isso eu considero fundamental.

Hotel was lovely, very clean, fantastic view from the roof top terrace where we ate breakfast each day and chilled out in the late afternoon. Hotel staff great before and during the stay; Reception very responsive/accommodating; I emailed prior to stay to organise airport transfers and connecting rooms. (Breakfast lady very friendly).

The front desk was helpful with directions, calling me a taxi and answering all questions that I had. The room I had was dated (I was expecting this from previous reviews). The bathroom seem to be renovated. Wifi was strong and I was able to work as needed. A kettle in the room would be nice. For as little time as I spent in my room it was fine. I do wish the rooms were as nice as the lobby. The location is excellent, short walk to Pantheon, and not too far to Trevi and Spanish Steps. I would stay here again now knowing the rooms are plain but the service and staff exceeded my expectations. I did not have their breakfast

Not clean, I found dirty spots on the carpet of the room . The bath ropes were so old and dilapidated. . No coffee machine nor irons . No water, you have to buy water from the bar in the lobby or somewhere else .the room was very cool even after the turn on the heater (my visit was in winter)

- Elita (3/5): I wouldn't stay here again. - Breakfast terrace was beautiful. The view was fabulous The room was so dated and cramped. The walls were so thin that I had terrible sleep. And I could here every conceivable thing from the room next door including in the bathroom which was gross. The hotel provide zero free water to guests, they charge 4 euro for small bottles and no tea making facilities in the rooms, with breakfast starting at 7.30 I was dehydrated before the day started. The stairs to the breakfast room were steep and not suitable for all, we hich makes it impossible for infirm or disabled people to enjoy.

Molto molto igienica!!!! Infine, ottima la Colazione, vista panoramica dalla terrazza magnifica sui tetti di Roma e poi oggettivamente mi sentivo al sicuro data la posizione. Tub/shower combination entry/exit was extremely dangerous with no grab bars. Seniors and physically challenged people would be endangered Rooms are far overheated. If you open the windows to cool the room down you can be greeted, as we were, by some protest speaker with a power equipped microphone/amplifier/speaker system screaming for 5 hours late in the afternoon. Complaints to the desk resulted in us being told that there was nothing they could do about it, which was true, and here is a package of foam earplugs. Didn’t seem very concerned because this is a regular occurrence

- electricblue84 (2/5): Don’t book no matter what - Don’t even think about booking this hotel. The hotel states it is 4 star, based on the requirements for a 4 star hotel this does not meet that. First if you stay here and are at the back of the hotel, you won’t sleep. There is a restaurant and road which is busy day and night. Glass collection is at 7am sharp. The hotel entrance is tasteful and that’s where it ends. The rest of the hotel is faded and in need of an update. The room we had was terrible, the furniture was broken, there was no kettle on arrival we had to ask for one, it should be standard In a 4 star hotel. The bed makes a noise even before you sit on it, the room air con and heating doesn’t work, the room is cold, the buttons are broken. The bathroom is so small you cannot get in and out the bath shower without contorting yourself. The breakfast is not worth the effort, the only hot item is overcooked scrambled egg, not even a toaster. Plenty of salad and meat. The world’s smallest cups for borrowers is what you get to make a brew in. most hotel staff are rude, not sure if that’s just being Italian. The bar server is really lovely and very chatty. ordered some drinks are the bar, was told by receptionist we cannot pay the bar bill until we leave? We have other peoples bathrooms backing onto our room and we get to hear everything they do In the bathroom. Once in a lifetime trip Ruined baby staying in this hotel

- BrunoDaniele (1/5): - From the moment we arrived, the receptionist (blonde with light eyes) treated us with shocking arrogance and disrespect. I have never been spoken to that way in any hotel, regardless of category or price. The situation regarding the rooms — which, based on Booking messages, should have included a double room connected to another bedroom — was completely mishandled. Instead of clarifying or offering a solution, the staff acted as if we were at fault, showing zero empathy or professionalism. No apology or follow-up was ever made after check-in, which only confirmed the hotel’s lack of customer care. For a place that claims to offer quality service, this level of treatment is simply unacceptable. I would never stay here again and do not recommend this hotel under any circumstance.

- sallywP5235NT (10/5): Lovely stay at Colonna Palace Hotel - Stayed 4 nights at this hotel and the location was perfect for exploring Rome, with many restaurants, attractions and good shopping close by, or within walking distance. Very happy with our choice of hotel, staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were spacious and very clean and comfortable, plenty of hot water and fresh sheets and towels everyday. A mini bar is provided and a safe. Roof terrace is especially lovely for breakfast and afternoon drinks, with amazing views across the city. Plenty of choice for breakfast, dont understand anyone complaining about the food in previous reviews. Location can be a little noisy at night time if you have a room overlooking the Parliament building but this did not really bother us and windows and shutters can close off the noise. The presence of the Carabineri right outside the hotel is reassuring, although we felt very safe throughout all of Rome.

- Q1683XIkateg (10/5): Beautiful city perfect location great central hotel - This is a lovely hotel, after reading some of the reviews I was a little concerned however I didn’t need to be. The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect it’s so central we could walk to so many attractions and lovely restaurants it enabled us to be in the heart of Rome throughout our trip. Opposite the parliament building police are present 24 hours which is lovely for security however we felt safe everywhere. Room was huge as was the bathroom. Yes it’s a little dated but nothing that made us feel it wasn’t a quality hotel. I would like to mention housekeeping as I’m not sure they always get the recognition they were superb! Our room was beautifully clean everyday. Breakfast on the roof terrace overlooking Rome was lovely. Continental style which was all we needed to start the day and appreciated as Rome is expensive so it saved us having to take time out of our day finding places to eat for breakfast. We wanted to spend all our time out and about and didn’t spend much time in the hotel or the room as we didn’t visit Rome for this reason. We wanted central, comfortable and convenient and this hotel ticked all the requirements we wanted. If you want to be central staying in a clean comfortable hotel this hotel is perfect. Only thing that wasn’t good WiFi is rubbish in the rooms but fine in the main hotel. We really couldn’t get WiFi in the hotel room so I would suggest plenty of data if you want great wifi in your room we really couldn’t get a good connection. But we didn’t want to spend time in our room we wanted to spend all our time walking this breathtaking, beautiful city. I would recommend this hotel and sitting outside watching the world go past after a busy day walking around the city was perfect. Want a really great central location within the beautiful parliament squire this is a great hotel we would stay again if we went back.

- Happykrob (6/5): Not a 4* hotel - I’ll start with the positives, location is excellent, bar staff are good. Cleaners are good. However this is not a 4 star hotel, the internet is poor, reception useless, breakfast is terrible. How can an Italian hotel serve such poor disgusting coffee is beyond me. The whole hotel is in need of refurbishment. The shower is rubbish, the drain in the bath smelled disgusting. I would not return or recommend.

My problems were the bed was too hard, especially if you have a back problem like I do and the Wi-Fi that they advertise did not work very well or at all overall it did the job for us for three days. Also coming from the USA I did not like the half door shower. The floor was soaked every time, and we tried real hard not to, but they reiterate the beds were painfully hard, and the Wi-Fi was nonexistent.

The area is secured 24/7 by government security personnel, making it very safe. The hotel is clean, the staff are very friendly, and I absolutely love it.

- Shota (8/5): アクセスと治安の面で素晴らしいロケーション、観光に便利 - ロケーションがとてもいい。トレビの泉やコロッセオ、またスペイン広場など主要な周辺の観光地に徒歩で行くことができ、バチカン美術館など少し離れた場所に行く場合でもバス停が近くにあるので大変便利。また政府機関の建物に隣接しており、警備体制が敷かれていてホテル周辺はとても治安がいいと感じた。 エレベーターの近くの部屋だったこともあり、エレベーターが稼働する際の振動音がやや室内に響いた。 廊下での他の宿泊客の声が室内まで聞こえてくることもあり、音の面でやや気になる場面があった。
