For the small additional amount that they charge for the Club Floor and lounge access it’s worth every penny. Great breakfast, evening drinks from 6-8pm and the friendly helpful staff are the best, Especially Joseph, Tia and Esther. Top notch and thanks for looking after me again. Special thanks to Mr. Allen (ground floor reception) and Mr. Joseph (Level 6 lounge) for being so welcoming and helpful. I arrived early and the room wasn’t ready yet, but Joseph kindly recommended some local restaurants while I waited, which was a nice touch. The room is clean and comfortable and the in-room dining service was great too. I’ll definitely be back again!

- knfoj (10/5): Excellent experience! - Excellent hotel and staff. Location was great for us. A lot of sights nearby within walking distance, but also good connections with MRT (bus and metro). We stayed for one week at a club level room, which we can warmly recommend. The room was spacious, clean, luxury amenities, laundry service was a nice bonus and even the view was great, facing the Arab Street. The club lounge became another home far away from home. After the first morning, we had the rest of our breakfasts in the lounge. What it lacks in selection compared to the restaurant downstairs is more than compensated by the service and relaxed atmosphere. The evening cocktails are a must, if the schedule allows. And a special mention to Joseph! He has just the right humor and service attitude to make you feel special. We also used the pool almost daily and visited the gym a few times. Both very clean and well equipped. Thank you, we would certainly stay again!
- JLS2002 (8/5): Good location but some disappointing details - Check-in was quite slow and not the best first impression. A senior member of staff was present but didn’t acknowledge or greet us, which felt a little unfriendly. There are steps up to the main entrance with no ramp, although thankfully someone was available to help carry our luggage. The room itself was fine, but not double glazed, so we could hear music from across the road at night as well as the early morning call to prayer from the nearby mosque. The bathroom also had a small step up into it, which both my husband and I tripped over when we first arrived. The shower had shiny tiled flooring that became very slippery when wet, and the shower door didn’t close properly, meaning we had to angle the shower towards the wall to avoid flooding the bathroom. Breakfast offered a good selection, but we found that items sometimes ran out and weren’t replaced quickly, even though we were there early (around 7am). Tables were also slow to be cleared. On the plus side, the location is good—around a 14-minute walk to Raffles Hotel Singapore and within walking distance of many other key areas (around 30 minutes on foot). The room also had a useful water filter tap (although we only discovered this after checking the hotel website), and a handy night light which was great for navigating in the dark. Overall, a decent stay with some thoughtful touches, but a few issues that could be improved.

Hotel is located at a prime location, which adds to our convenience. We are very thankful to Joseph and team who helped us on our first day there. Joseph is one of the friendliest and outgoing staffs I have met so far! With his awesome recommendation of the hotel facilities, we managed to familiarised ourselves with the hotel fast! Meeting Joseph is truly one of the highlights of our staycay! :) Thank you Joseph for your awesome service! We were also pleased with the cleanliness of our room! Toiletries in the room were sufficient for us. The environment of the hotel is very peaceful and relaxing, which provided a good escape from my hectic work week:).

On our recent stay (7 nights) we were greeted with warmth, smiles and recognition. We stayed on the 7th Floor and found our room to be of a high standard. We enjoyed the privileges of the Club Lounge and found the staff Joseph, Mia, Tya, Ester and new commers Ray and Julianne to be professional, friendly, attentive and welcoming. Mr Tan you are very fortunate to have staff on this caliber. The Hotel is ideally located, comfortable, excellent amenities (eg pool area), good food and welcoming with a warmth that draws you to return again. - davidbD5125PF (10/5): Not just another guest. - I come to Singapore often for business. It is easy to find a hotel with all the bells and whistles, but not so easy to find one with a heart. Staying on the club floors in the Parkroyal is very much a home away from home. The staff remember you and not just as a face but by name. As a standout I would have to call out Joseph in the club area. He knows me and what I like and goes out of his way to see that I am looked after and my needs met. I don’t feel like just another guest at the Parkroyal! Recommend wholeheartedly.

The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Can highly recommend booking club level as having the additional amenities and the lounge was such a great way to start and end the day. Joseph in the lounge honestly couldn’t be more accomodating and friendly, a welcome face in the evening to return to. The entire team who have looked after us in the club lounge deserve a mention as they made it so hospitable and homely. The pool area is an exceptional place to wind down or take a dip with an uninterrupted view out toward the bay. 10/10 can recommend.
- Skippy2708 (4/5): Very disappointed no goodwill at all - We booked through our travel agent to stay at the Park Royal in Singapore, we arrived at the hotel at 12:00hrs after a long flight from the UK. We checked in but were told that our room would not be available until 3pm but for an additional charge which was approximately £80 gbp we could go to another room or wait in the lobby for three hours. We were so tired so opted to pay for the room so we could freshen up. This hotel was not at capacity and could have easily accommodated us in our early arrival, there was no goodwill from the reception desk at all. For this reason alone we would not stay here again. We have never encountered this type of treatment and we are well travelled to many countries.

- Road06696923920 (6/5): Mediocre experience - Feedback for Check-in - Check-in Miscommunication: Due to a miscommunication between the front desk and the Point of Contact (POC) regarding our access to Level 7, we wasted 30 minutes in the lobby. I eventually had to approach the desk myself to clarify the wait. - Wedding Amenities Timing: Pre-snacks for the couple were served on 10th Jan, but the banquet was on 11th Jan. Traditionally, the bride and groom are not together the day before the wedding. We suggest that Parkroyal check with couples whether wedding amenities should be served upon check-in or closer to the event. Additionally, it was unpleasant to see food that had been left out at room temperature overnight being served again on the 12th when we requested them. - Club Staff: The service from the hotel staff at the Club (serving VIP/Level 7 guests) was awesome and very friendly! Feedback for Banquet Operations - Handover Issues: There was no proper handover from the Sales Manager to the Operations team; consequently, some of the details had to be settled last minute. - Carpet Installation: We informed the Sales Manager of our intention to lay a carpet and used the dimensions provided to us. However, the night before the wedding, we discovered there was insufficient space. This resulted in a non-centralized layout that required a re-do. We truly appreciate the help of the three Ops staff—Yao Quan, Irvin, and Jun Ming—who stayed back to assist us. - Logistics: We requested two long tables and a cocktail table for the photobooth from the Sales Manager. On the actual day, the tables were missing, and I had to personally request them from the banquet staff. - Table Layout: Due to the carpet, there was a last-minute request to swap two tables within the Sky Ballroom. The table numbers were mixed up, causing guests the inconvenience of having to switch seats after they had already sat down. - Inconsistent Wedding Favors: The door gifts (travel bags) were inconsistent. Some guests received two bags, while others received only a pouch or a laundry bag. Many guests received different sizes or only one item instead of the set. - Coffee & Tea Service: We specifically requested coffee and tea service as a perk for choosing Parkroyal. As it was a lunch banquet, we announced this service to our guests. However, it was not prepared even by the end of the event, leading to significant disappointment. While the Ops Manager, Yao Quan, offered compensation afterward, the communication between Sales and Ops needs to be much better. - Champagne Ceremony: The champagne "prematurely" popped while the metal cage was being undone—before the cork was even touched. This ruined the special moment and it was not captured properly. - Responsiveness: Queries made throughout the preparation and on the actual day required multiple prompts before the Sales team responded. - Unprofessional Turnover: We were disappointed that staff began clearing the ballroom before 4:00 PM. We were told we had the space until then for our tea ceremony. Our guests were pressured to leave despite staying to observe the ceremony. - Recognition: We want to reiterate that the Banquet Manager, Yao Quan, was professional and highly recommendable. He was always present to provide guidance and ensure things stayed on track. Feedback for Food - Quality Control: pieces of shell was found in a guest’s crab meat soup. - Food Quality: Numerous guests feedbacked that the fish was overcooked, tough, and did not taste fresh, which was a sharp contrast to our food tasting session. - VIP Service: Food was cleared from the VIP table before our immediate family members even had a chance to eat. Sales & Management - Personnel Transition: The transition from Felicia to Sun Xu, and then to Dawn, was not smooth. - Communication Gaps: Responses were slow throughout the months, and there was selective responses to our queries. - Lack of Proactiveness: We had to actively follow up on everything—menu changes, the sequence of events, and invitation vendor details. We expected more proactiveness from Parkroyal rather than having to initiate every update ourselves. After-stay survey was done in Jan, no follow up or acknowledgement was provided. Overall, the entire experience was mediocre.

Intro For the fourth hotel in Singapore, after a short trip to Indonesia to pick up my wife’s brother, we chose PARKROYAL on Beach Road. PARKROYAL operates under the Pan Pacific Hotels Group, which is a Singapore-based global hospitality company. The company has over 50 hotels across four continents, although most of their properties are located in Asia. As they have only one property in Europe, the brand may still be fairly unknown to many travellers, especially European travellers. Even though they may not be as well known as some of the globally recognised hotel brands like Hilton, Marriott, Radisson, or IHG, their contribution to the hotel scene shouldn’t be ignored, as their hotels are known for luxury, upscale comfort, and business-minded travellers who value seamless, high-end service. The site where PARKROYAL now stands has seen several hotels come and go, starting with Hotel Merlin in 1971. The hotel was fully integrated into the Pan Pacific Hotels Group portfolio in 2002 and has been known as PARKROYAL on Beach Road ever since. It went through its last major renovation in 2018, but the hotel has been continuously updated since then, including the lobby renovation in 2021 and one of the biggest highlights of the hotel, the St. Gregory Wellness area, which opened in November 2025. This includes a state-of-the-art gym, a stunning pool area, and more. PARKROYAL on Beach Road is a high-end 4-star hotel near the Kampong Glam district, with its various sights, shops, cafés, and restaurants. Bugis and its endless shopping opportunities are also within walking distance. All of this together makes the hotel a more than solid choice for exploring Singapore. The hotel has 346 rooms, ranging from standard rooms to suites. Higher-end rooms also include access to a club lounge, which serves snacks throughout the day and free cocktails and light dishes from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. PARKROYAL also houses several quality dining venues, such as Ginger, Si Chuan Dou Hua, Tian Fu Tea Room, and Club 5, offering food ranging from local cuisine to Chinese and more. After enjoying fine food and drinks, you can treat yourself at St. Gregory Wellness by relaxing by the pool, enjoying various massages, or working off some of what you ate in the gym. The hotel is also well suited for weddings and large meetings, thanks to flexible event spaces equipped with modern technology and a large ballroom that can accommodate up to 844 people. Lobby The lobby itself was bright and modern, and there was plenty of greenery around, making the space feel inviting and relaxed. It wasn’t as spacious or grand as the Grand Copthorne Waterfront, but it had its own more intimate charm. Compared to Grand Copthorne, which felt more like entering a large open mall space, the PARKROYAL lobby felt cozier with its smaller but very stylish approach. Designer ceiling lights and a toned-down colour scheme created a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. There were different types of cozy sofas and seating areas where people could relax and spend time chatting with friends or family, like my wife, who met her friend in the lobby later that day. There were many small design details we really liked, such as the wooden shelves behind the eye-catching orange reception desks, filled with decorative items. As it was the festive season and Christmas was approaching, festive decorations around the lobby made it feel even more special. All in all, the lobby was cozy and beautiful, and it was clear that everything had been designed carefully down to the smallest detail. We had originally booked a Superior room with an extra bed, as my wife’s brother was travelling with us, but the lovely receptionist surprised us with an upgrade to a more spacious Family Room on the second floor. As we arrived a few hours early, the room wasn’t ready yet, but it didn’t bother us. We went for lunch, and by the time we came back, the room was ready. Family Room – 295 As always, being honest, my first impression when opening the door was that the room felt a bit lacklustre. It was clean and there was nothing technically wrong with it, but nothing really stood out either. If these rooms were refurbished in 2018, I’m slightly surprised that carpets were kept, as they feel a bit outdated nowadays. As it was a family room, there were two beds, one king-size bed and one smaller single bed. Both were soft and comfortable, and we had no issues sleeping. I liked the toned-down colour scheme of the room, which had a warm yellowish tint, likely created by the mix of lighting, curtains, and carpet. The room had a long wall-mounted desk with more than enough space for personal items. There was also a sofa directly in front of the bed with a small round table, which was convenient for takeaway food or room service. The TV was medium-sized and included the usual interactive system and streaming capabilities. There was also an office chair and several sockets for plugging in work equipment. The view from the windows was practically nonexistent, facing a fountain-style pool area and the wall of another building. I’ve heard all family rooms are positioned this way, so there wouldn’t be much benefit in booking a higher floor. Once again, the room did not include complimentary water bottles, so you either need to buy your own or use tap water, which is safe to drink in Singapore. There was also a filtered water dispenser, similar to the one at Grand Copthorne Waterfront. The nightstand included a multi-use iHome Bluetooth FM clock radio, which could be used as an alarm clock, Bluetooth speaker, or USB charging hub. I was surprised there was only one socket on one side of the king-size bed, which had to be shared with the person sleeping in the single bed. This was one of the negatives of the family room, there were simply not enough sockets near by the beds charge multiple devices. Room amenities included a kettle with coffee and tea sachets, glasses and mugs in a drawer for three people, and an empty minibar fridge for storing drinks and snacks. Inside the cabinet, we found a safe, as well as a hairdryer, bathrobes, and slippers. The bathroom wasn’t large, especially for a family room, but was big enough for one person at a time. It was clean and modern, though like the rest of the room, nothing particularly special. Toiletries were generous, including toothbrushes, combs, vanity kits, shaving kits, and more. On the left side of the sink, there was another tap connected to the filtered water system. There were large bottles of Appelles branded shampoo and body wash, which added a small touch of luxury. The shower was handheld only, without a rain shower. Overall, the room was perfectly adequate for our two-night stay, even if it lacked that wow factor. Gym The gym is located on the fourth floor together with the spa and pool area. Oh boy, what can I say about this gym? This was easily the best gym out of the six hotels we visited in Singapore. It honestly could have fooled me into thinking it was a proper standalone gym. This gym had everything you could think of for a full-body workout. You could clearly see this area went through a complete overhaul less than a year ago, as everything looked new and modern. For someone like me who values gym quality, this could easily be a deciding factor for choosing this hotel again the next time we visit Singapore. It was truly in a class of its own. It was perhaps slightly more focused on upper body workouts, but there was still more than enough equipment for lower body training. Of course, they also had all the cardio machines like treadmills, exercise bikes, and cross-trainers. Not only did they have machines, but also a full range of attachments, which are so often missing even in otherwise good hotel gyms. Even a stretching stick was available. I could start naming every individual machine, but since this really felt like a proper chain-level gym, I’ll leave it there, or half of this review would be about the gym alone. The free weight area included heavier dumbbells as well, so I was able to do my full usual workout without compromise. Despite space limitations, even though gym was quite large compared to many hotel gyms, they used the available space perfectly, fitting in all the essential machines and equipment. There was also a water dispenser available if you needed refreshment between sets. One interesting detail I noticed, something I had never seen before in my travels or even in my local gym, was the Anovator A5 Smart Body Analyzer, which is a smart body composition scale used to measure weight and estimate metrics like body fat, muscle mass, and BMI. All in all, as I said before, this was the best hotel gym out of the six hotels we visited. I honestly could have believed this was a separate gym owned by a fitness chain, it was that good. If gym quality is important for your hotel stay, you really can’t get much better than this. Pool Another completely renovated area was the pool and its surroundings, which was another highlight of the hotel. The pool, spa, and poolside lounge are located just a short walk from the elevators on the fourth floor, and it is truly worth your time. This serene oasis is genuinely beautiful. Just walking into the poolside lounge and seeing the pool area surrounded by greenery is a transporting experience. It feels like a small holiday destination of its own inside the hotel, just steps away from the noise and bustle of the city. The pool itself might not be the largest, but it was easily the most beautiful pool out of the six hotels we visited. The pool and surrounding areas looked very well maintained, and the water was crystal clear. There were loungers and pool beds placed thoughtfully around the area We especially liked small details, such as a secluded section on the side of the pool, surrounded by greenery, separating it slightly from the main pool area. Making it feel like a private little hideaway, perfect for couples wanting a bit more privacy. The views from the pool area were also worth mentioning. In the distance, you could see countless high-rise buildings, as well as some of Singapore’s most famous landmarks, such as the Singapore Flyer and the iconic Marina Bay Sands. We usually only film pool areas for review purposes and don’t actually use them, but I could easily imagine spending time in a pool area like this. It’s a beautiful place to relax on a lounger, enjoy Singapore’s warm weather, and simply unwind. Even if you don’t swim, it’s worth visiting just to see it. Maybe next time we’ll even enjoy a drink at the poolside lounge Breakfast Breakfast was served at Ginger Restaurant on the first floor. Opening hours were generous, from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. While walking to the breakfast area, we noticed various products, toys, and souvenirs displayed along the corridor for guests to purchase. The breakfast buffet selection was fairly large, even though not as extensive as at Grand Copthorne Waterfront. Right when we stepped inside, we were greeted by various seafood options, soba noodles, sushi, and similar dishes. The selection of pastries and sweet treats was somewhat limited, but still enough to satisfy a sweet tooth. The fruit selection was fresh and varied. Of course, there were standard hotel breakfast items like muesli, granola, cereals, and yoghurts. There wasn’t a huge selection of cold cuts or cheeses, but that’s something I’ve noticed quite often in Asia. The vegetable and salad selection was fairly good for those looking for healthier options, though I personally rarely focus on those in hotel breakfasts. The pancake station was a nice addition for sweet lovers, as the dessert selection overall was a bit limited. There were also waffles and some savoury pastries, which I hadn’t seen as often elsewhere. One highlight for me was the chef preparing fresh omelettes daily using ingredients you could choose from the menu yourself. The hot food section included Indian staples like dhal curry, chicken curry, prata, vada, and Indian rice. There were also dumplings and baos. On the Western side, you had sausages, hash browns, scrambled eggs, beans, and warm vegetables. Other Asian breakfast options included nasi lemak, spring rolls, fried noodles, carrot cake, and chicken congee. Soups and some other breakfast items changed daily, which was nice, although the variety of change was less noticeable than in some other hotels, likely due to a slightly smaller overall selection. I’m always a bit surprised, regardless of hotel star rating, that fresh brewed coffee is rarely available hotels in Asia and instead comes from machines, but it’s something I’ve gotten used to. The breakfast room itself was beautiful, with lots of natural light coming through the windows. We also liked the botanical-themed wall art and the designer ceiling fans with palm leaf-style blades. Overall, it was a good breakfast. While maybe not the biggest selection I’ve seen, it was still more than enough for a solid start to the day. Conclusion Overall, PARKROYAL on Beach Road left a very positive impression on us, even though it wasn’t completely perfect in every single aspect. The hotel clearly shows its strengths in areas that really matter for many travellers, good location, even better facilities, top notch service quality, and overall comfort. The location is honestly one of the hotel’s biggest advantages. Being within easy walking distance of Kampong Glam, Bugis shopping areas, and not too far from multiple MRT connections makes exploring Singapore extremely easy. Whether you are visiting for sightseeing, shopping, or business, this location works very well. The staff throughout the hotel were professional, friendly, and helpful. From the warm welcome and unexpected room upgrade at check-in to the general service experience during the stay, you could really feel that guest comfort is a priority here. The room itself was good and perfectly functional, even if it didn’t have that strong wow factor. It was clean, comfortable, and practical for our short stay, but compared to how strong the rest of the hotel is, the room felt slightly more average. Still, it was absolutely fine and did the job well for our needs. Where this hotel truly shines is in its facilities. The gym is honestly one of the best hotel gyms I have personally seen, not only in Singapore but overall. The pool area is also beautiful and feels like a small escape from the busy city outside. The wellness and leisure facilities alone already make this hotel stand out strongly against many competitors. Breakfast was good and varied enough to satisfy most travellers, even if it wasn’t the largest buffet selection we experienced during this trip. Still, the quality and variety were more than enough for a very solid start to the day. When looking at the whole picture, PARKROYAL on Beach Road is a very well-balanced hotel. It offers strong facilities, great service, a very good location, and solid overall comfort. It might not be the most ultra-luxury or design-focused hotel in Singapore, but it is reliable, high quality, and easy to recommend to a wide range of travellers. Would we stay here again? Very likely, especially because of the amazing gym, good location, and overall service level. For travellers who want a high-quality, comfortable, well-located hotel with excellent facilities, PARKROYAL on Beach Road is definitely worth considering.

As a Titanium member, we truly appreciate the hotel for consistently extending early check-in and room upgrades. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean — in fact, noticeably larger than many other four-star properties. Throughout our stay, we felt especially well taken care of by Tia/Tya and Julianne. Their attention to detail has been exceptional and made our experience all the more memorable. Overall, it is always a pleasure to experience the consistently high level of service. There has never been an occasion where PARKROYAL on Beach Road fell short of excellence.

All the staff we met were friendly, helpful, efficient and professional. Our room was also spacious, clean and comfortable. The only downside of this hotel (and the reason we give 4 stars rather than 5) is that the soundproofing in the bedrooms is poor. We heard noise each night from people in the neighbouring rooms and from people passing in the corridor. It seems perhaps the walls are too thin! This was an annoyance but (with the help of earplugs) we still very much enjoyed our stay and we would still recommend this hotel and we would stay again if returning to Singapore.

- 127andrit (10/5): Nice and Comfortable - This is my second time staying at this hotel. I had a better experience this time compared to last time. We stayed for 4 nights in twin-bed room. It still fit well for 2 adults and 2 young kids. The room was clean and well maintained with very good amenity kits. House keeping did a very good job at keeping the room tidy everyday. Booked a standard room and got upgraded to club room at level 6 with club lounge access and free breakfast as a Titanium GHA member. Breakfast was good, with quite an extensive selection. The facilities exceeded my expectations, very good gym equipments and nice pool with great view overlooking marina bay sands and singapore flyer. Also loved the Christmas decorations at the lobby. Overall this hotel is very comfortable. I paid around 200 sgd per night and i think it was worth it considering the prices of other hotels in Singapore. Wouldn't mind to stay here again for my next visit.

From arrival to check-out, everything felt well-managed and consistent. We were kindly upgraded to a Parkroyal Club Premier room, and it definitely elevated our stay—more comfort and a better overall experience. The highlight was the excellent front office service, especially HAZ at the reception. He was warm, professional, and efficient, with clear communication and genuine hospitality. - icemountainsg (8/5): Good for its price. - At this price point, this hotel is hard to beat. The renovations were really well done, and the lobby was charming. Window soundproofing of the rooms was excellent, pity about the heavy doors that slams every so often. Rooms was clean and nicely lit. The lounge were only good for the canned drinks and hot beverages as food items were quite mid (cakes tasted especially bad) and ran out quickly but I suppose this is because the hotel is very generous with club upgrades. Once again, can't complain at this price! Service is a mixed bag though... the gentleman at the lounge was a delight. However, can't say for some others who seemed pretty evasive in terms of service. Housekeeping were especially warm and the crew at breakfast was quick despite the chaos and crowd. Contrary to comments here, I found the breakfast at Ginger not too bad.. just be sure to head there early as queues may be long especially at the (single) egg station. Pretty sure they can fit in a few more tables, but I like how it is now as they were were spread out nicely without feeling claustrophobic. Underrated was the pool that is expansive with relaxing breezes at sundown. A rarity in hotels these days, much less one in the central area.

Good location opposite Kampong Glam/ Haji lane, bus stops out the front on both sides of the road & MRT a shortish walk. The pool area has an amazing view & pool looks very inviting although I didn’t find time to swim. We had access to Club Lounge which we enjoyed. We had the please of meeting Joseph, whom was not only great at his job he had an awesome sense of humour & always wearing a welcoming smile. All staff were friendly & polite. The rooms were clean along with all areas of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again, but I would request a firmer pillow.

A big thank you to our Wedding Manager, Xina, for being so patient and on-the-ball throughout, and for keeping the whole timeline running smoothly. She was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. On the banquet day itself, the service crew was attentive and efficient. Special shoutout to the banquet managers (Ringges and Jun Ming) for managing the flow well and making sure our guests were taken care of. The AV also went smoothly thanks to Yussuf, cues, sound, and coordination were handled professionally, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Food-wise, thank you to Chef Chong and the kitchen team, our guests enjoyed the dinner and we received many compliments that this was one of the best banquet food they ever had. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend PARKROYAL on Beach Road to couples looking for a venue with strong coordination, solid service, and a dependable team.

I decided to try it again, and i would say that this hotel for the Value/Service/Amenities and location is a perfect deal for Singapore ! The Gym & Pool have been fully renovated and are great, especially the gym which is very well equipped ! The bed is very comfortable to have good deep sleep ! On top of that, you can use their bicycles for free for touring around Singapore which is just so perfect ! All in all very good stay. Just try to avoid to peak hour to the breakfast as it can get very messy !

Their thoughtful touches—like remembering our preferred beverages and warmly welcoming us back after a day out—elevate the whole experience. This was our first visit to Singapore in a few years, and we were delighted to see a familiar face from previous stays. Although Esther wasn’t on duty the day we arrived, she came straight over to greet us the next time she was working, which my husband and I greatly appreciated. Every member of the Club Lounge team is a credit to the hotel. They are always happy to chat, and they consistently go the extra mile to make guests feel comfortable. We already have another trip planned to Australia in 2026 and will be stopping off in Singapore on the way back, and we’re very much looking forward to seeing Esther, Izzah, Joseph, Mia, Miew, and Tia again. Concierge A special mention goes to Vishan, who was incredibly efficient and kind when my sister-in-law had an accident and injured her ankle while out downtown. He promptly arranged a taxi to collect her from Nicoll Highway MRT and made sure everything went smoothly also organising some ice for her ankle. A few days later, he even recognised me in the lobby when I was unable to access the Club Lounge without a key card as my husband had both our room keys by mistake. He immediately assisted and made sure I was able to get to the club lounge where I was able to enjoy a coffee while waiting for husband. His level of care truly stood out. Housekeeping Housekeeping was excellent as always—our room was consistently cleaned and made up promptly. Club 5 The atmosphere is fantastic—great music and a lively vibe. It’s a nightclub, so it can get loud later on, but earlier in the evening the music is softer and perfect for chatting. The whole bar team is wonderful, but a special shout-out to Jasmine and Tiffany. They listened to my husband’s jokes with such good humour, were always up for a friendly chat, Jasmine makes an incredible Mojito and a seriously good Singapore Sling! Overall, Park Royal – Beach Road delivered another exceptional stay. The team’s warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail are exactly why we continue to return. Highly recommended.

In particular, Esther, Joseph, Dytiana and Nehemia in the Club Lounge went above and beyond the call of duty in responding to every need and request we had. This hotel should be very grateful to have them on their team. Special mention also to Sugu ( hope I spelt it correctly ), who came and strapped my wife's ankle when she slipped and sprained it , while on a walk up town. Both were excellent in their areas of expertise, Dawn assisted and accommodated to our requests months leading up to the wedding. We have had many impromptu changes but all were smoothly resolved by Dawn. Yao Quan helped out tremendously during the actual banquet, we were overwhelmed with many concurrent things but he was patient and detailed in his guidance for us during the core events (March ins, popping of champagne etc.) He truly inspired confidence in us during a nerve wrecking event!

She consistently reassured us whenever things didn’t go as planned and even tried her best to secure additional perks for us. Banquet Managers – Yao Quan & Irvin We specially requested to have Yao Quan as our banquet manager on our big day after meeting him on our food tasting. We cannot thank Yao Quan enough for his professionalism and expertise. He went above and beyond to assist us and our families/friends and vendors. From guiding us on our march-in to keeping the event running on time, helping to get extra carpark coupons, heating up food for our vendors, and being incredibly detail-oriented, he and Irvin handled everything seamlessly. They even helped locate items that were left behind after the banquet, which we deeply appreciate. Couldn’t thank Yao Quan more for even making a trip back to ballroom to find missing items for us and running to find a bedroom slipper for me when he saw I’m barefoot (after taking off my killer heels after the wedding). We would also like to thank the two female staff members who assisted with holding my gown during the solemnisation, tea ceremony, and banquet. Their help made everything so much smoother. AV Manager – Suhaimi A big thank you to Suhaimi for ensuring that all our AV cues were executed flawlessly. Everything played smoothly throughout the event, and we’re very grateful. Chef – Chef Chong Many of our guests complimented the food, and we want to thank Chef Chong for accommodating our requests during food tasting and for delivering such delicious dishes on the actual day. ⸻ Areas for Improvement: While our overall experience was positive, we hope the hotel can be more flexible with guest attendance and vendor meal arrangements. We were required to confirm the final number of attendees two weeks before the wedding, which differed from the originally agreed number of tables when we signed the package. The hotel was unable to accommodate any increase or decrease in attendee numbers thereafter, and the lack of an option for reserved tables made things difficult, especially with unforeseen last-minute changes. As a result, several guests who couldn’t attend still had to be accounted for, and we had to pay the full confirmed amount despite requesting fewer seats a few days before. Additionally, The Club Deluxe room provided as the bridal suite was smaller than expected. There wasn’t sufficient space for the makeup artist to work comfortably, and changing into gowns and suits was difficult. No other entourage or vendors can stay in the room as there’s no privacy for bride to do makeup/change. We also only found out upon checkout that we had access to the lounge, which would have been helpful to know earlier. ⸻ Despite the few setbacks, we are truly thankful to the wonderful team who supported us and made our wedding day memorable. The property has a rather compact club lounge on Level 6, but is well served by the team. Esther, Tya, Izzah and Miew are always around to ensure all club guests are well taken care of. Kudos to Esther and Tya for their dedication to ensure the hospitality service standards of the ParkRoyal brand. It is appreciated that the brand also exemplifies diversity and inclusiveness for all hotel guests. I do see Sophia (Director of Rooms) making her rounds on the property but didnt have the opportunity to share my compliments with her. Look forward to doing so in future stays. - dlf_perth (10/5): Club Floor experience very good - Stayed 30 Oct-9Nov 2025 in a ParkRoyal Club Premier King. The balcony room on 7th floor was excellent. The Club (6th floor) was excellent and we found the breakfast more than sufficient and more convenient than the main breakfast in Gingers. 2 items of laundry each day very good. Evening food was good though often dominated by seafood - ate there a few times when not going out. Great service from the club floor team who made our stay very enjoyable (Esther, Tya, Joseph & Izzah). The location was good and easy to access either the Bugis MRT and shops (access from Duo Building) or Nicholl Hwy MRT (out past ballroom and short distance up service road). Walking distance to Suntec via walkway from Guoco Midtown. Atlas bar nearby. Easy access for taxi/Grab. Arab Street and Kampong Glam directly across the road is vibrant at night.

- ReVoz8 (10/5): 2 Day Singapore Staycation! - We had a 2 day staycation here and this hotel has ample parking, great receiption area with plenty of seats. Mr Vicky gave us a warm welcome to the hotel and was very helpful to us thoughout the stay. He helped us with our bags to our room, gave us instructions on how to use the bikes and provided 2 safety helmets for our children. He made our stay very pleasant, he is always helpful to our requests and always greeted us with a genuine smile. Rooms were very clean and new, the cleanliness and make up room service was also top-notch!
- yvonnelee12 (8/5): Sufficiently Comfortable - Hotel was revamped recently with a Peranakan theme in mind. Uncertain about the lobby, there were various ornaments but perhaps not well put together. For GHA Discovery Titanium members, doesn't seem to have a lot differentiation either. But the room meet the needs. Breakfast spread was decent too, with a service team that is probably stretched, they don't serve with a smile, but expectations are low for Singapore hospitality. The pool deck was nicely upgraded though, except for a rather deep pool depth and very cold water probably due to the wind. All in all, we had a comfortable stay.

Looking to experience the ‘club’ benefits we chose the Parkroyal on Beach Road. The Club room was spacious although our bathroom was a bit tight. No complaints re cleanliness and the provision of two items free per day laundry was appreciated. With the club snacks on offer from 6:00 to 8:00pm, we changed by having our main meal at lunch and the snacks for dinner. This worked well, we even slept better. The staff were very friendly and efficient. They even appear to have Singapores answer to Manuel from Fawlty Towers in Joseph. He certainly added to our experience and made sure we were well looked after. Would we stay here again, yes.

- Tour57966373897 (10/5): Wedding Ballroom Viewing Experience - We went to Park Royal Beach Road to view their ballrooms for our upcoming wedding, and from the start, Xina attended to us. Xina was extremely professional, ensuring that she answered all our questions promptly - after our first meeting, she sent us emails answering all our questions 8 minutes after we left! We were so surprised at her efficiency. She is also very responsive, and answers our questions even when we text her late at night. We also had a chance to meet the operations manager, Jun Ming, who attended to us at a very last minute request to view the ballrooms again. During the session, he was very friendly and informative, giving us assurance that we would be placed in good hands on the actual day of the wedding. We even considered booking PRBR just for the exceptional service and professionalism, as we knew we would be well taken care of for our wedding. While we had to forgo the venue due to changes in our guest list, we left feeling really impressed by the service provided by the team.

Our room upgrade to a club courtesy of GHA membership was large with all mod cons including a view of the Singapore flyer and a balcony. The club room for breakfast/drinks was just right and the people were very nice too. Standout was the gentleman at reception who welcomed us warmly and informed us without rushing about the hotel / room etc. Location opposite Arab street and within walking distance of Raffles City/ Sumter City and Marine Square made it easy to get around, out to eat etc. Overall a very good stay.

We were assisted by Xina, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is very responsive and attentive, our wedding planning would not have been that smooth sailing if not for her. We also had Irvin to help us with the actual day banquet coordination. And we could not be more than grateful for his help. Would highly recommend Park Royal Beach Road to anyone who is looking to hold their wedding banquet :)

Since we are not allowed to lift luggage due to back problems, Mr. Dan Osman was very helpful and helped us with our bags. Also the reception staff was very friendly and attentive.

I was one of the best men, and together with the other two best men, the couple, and the MCs, we communicated closely with Irvin throughout the planning and the actual wedding day. He was always approachable, patient, and professional in handling every detail. From the very beginning, during our food tasting, Irvin impressed us with his experience and genuine passion. Having been a chef himself, he gave us thoughtful and practical advice about the food and presentation. You can tell he really knows his stuff. Because of the confidence he gave us, we specifically requested for him to be the banquet manager for the actual day, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. During the wedding, an unexpected issue came up, and Irvin went above and beyond his role. He personally went all the way back to Jurong together with one of the best men to pick up something important, and he still made it back in time just as he promised. That level of dedication is truly rare. We would also like to give special thanks to Dawn, the sales representative. She was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire process — from the food tasting to the rehearsal, the AV testing, and right up to the actual wedding day. She was always responsive, cheerful, and made sure everything was well-coordinated for the couple. Thanks to Irvin’s commitment and Dawn’s support, the entire banquet went smoothly and beautifully. You can tell the team genuinely cares about making sure everything goes perfectly for the couple. We’re extremely grateful for their professionalism and heart. If you’re planning a wedding, we highly recommend having Irvin and Dawn on your team. You’ll definitely be in the best hands!

From the very first meeting to the actual wedding day, everything was handled with such professionalism, care, and attention to detail. A special shoutout to our banquet manager, Irvin, who went above and beyond to make sure everything ran perfectly. He was incredibly responsive, patient, and meticulous throughout the planning process. On the actual day, Irvin and his team ensured that every part of the banquet flowed seamlessly — from the setup, lighting, and coordination, to the timing of the march-ins and food service. Our guests complimented the delicious food, beautiful ambience, and smooth service all night long. The hotel staff were courteous and efficient, and we truly felt well taken care of from start to finish. Thank you, Parkroyal on Beach Road, and especially Irvin, for making our wedding day so memorable and stress-free. - reaagen (4/5): Misleading advertising and wrong info given - Before I booked, i call in and asked the reservation regarding kids policy for club lounge. Was told kids is welcome during afternoon tea only not allowed during evening cocktail. On the check in day, was rejected by the club staff and was told all day no kids allowed. During evening cocktail, walked past by the lounge and saw a few kids running around inside with their parents dining. Wonder why the policy was not enforced for the other guest but to us. Direct booking also advertised $50 dining credit. GHA members has dining discount available. After dining, told the restaurant that I have a $50 dining credit. They told me that I can only choose GHA titanium 25% discount or the $50 dining credit. So isn’t it misleading for the direct booking promo? Means GHA won’t enjoy the actual value of $50 credit as in the first place, there is already discount percentage available. No other hotels in went to have such policy as gha discount is always applied on the dining bill. And the credit will be offset during checkout billing. That’s is the true value of dining credit. Really such a mood spoiler as I felt cheated. Was going to book another stay 2 weeks later but will put off the plans after facing such inconsistency and misleading advertising. Such a bummer as the room is comfortable and swimming pool newly renovated. Really disappointed as we plan to stay here frequently during the weekends when we need a recharged. But this experience really spoils our view of this property.

Room upgrade ballon's treats in our room was unexpected but much appreciated. Lovely staff who smile and strive to help. Joseph provided us with fun conversation and dining tips all around positive vibes.
