- Leticia (8/5): There might be better options in town at this rate. - Rooms are very comfortable and silent. “Breakfast included” means an allowance of £32 per person, which basically corresponds to two eggs, a capuccino and some fruits. Although very close to the metro and bus line, there is nothing much to see if you like to walk around.

We almost queued for Scarfes but he came out and made sure we didn’t have to wait. Really nice guy. The addition of a ‘Discretionary service charge’ is completely dishonest. I travel lots and know it’s common but since when do you hide the cost of a nights stay? It’s just not etiquette. Just pay your employees what they deserve and don’t ask the customer to make the decision to argue or not. For this reason I won’t stay again.

This was not my first stay and there has never been a time that the reception does not make a mistake in calculation. They are always very polite afterwards but this time a person had withdrawn 600 Pounds from my credit card ‘accidentally’ - because a she or he made a mistake in calculation - I had realised it since my bank informed me via sms and contacted the reception immediately. They sorted it out and reversed the process but the money will be in my account in 5-7 days…. Being sorry does not help in such situations...

Our suite was beautifully decorated with high-end finishes and offered a spectacular ocean view. The personalized service made us feel like VIPs throughout our entire stay. - Andrew (7/5): Pleasant but scope for refinement. - The location of the property is great, with ease of access to public transport and a short walk to west end amenities and Covent Garden. The staff were exceedingly helpful, and the facilities were plentiful and well maintained. I struggled with the amount of instances where fees were added. Having stayed at other Rosewood properties, I expected a resort fee. I was surprised that an included breakfast then had a service fee tagged on. I feel like things like that need to be built in under the “included” tag. Guests don’t want to feel nickel and dimed when they are starting at a luxury property, but I fear that my stay was edging close to that. Beyond that, there were some hardware bits that could have been tended to but no substantial complaint on that.

- John (10/5): An amazing hotel, I’m excited to come back to. - The property and ammenities were all fantastic. The staff were wonderful from before arrival to the very end of the stay everyone from the reception, concierge, door and cleaning staff were all so very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The pillows were a bit soft, but had we asked for plumper pillows I’m sure it could have been arranged. The air conditioning was a bit noisy and awkward to change, but I should have listened more attentively when it was being explained to me!
