- TOMOKAZU (10/5): - 万博、USJ旅行で2泊3日利用させて頂きました。家族5人での利用で設備、広さともに充分で清潔感も問題ありません。コミュニケーションはExpediaメッセージ、SMSでのやり取りになりますが緊急の用事でない限り、こちらも問題ありませんでした。お値段も安くて助かりました。

- Rowena (10/5): - More spacious than Tokyo hotel rooms for sure. I like that the shower room is separate from the toilet room, and there's an in-house washing machine. Within walking distance from Dotonburi, Kurumon market and Shinsaibashi shopping. My family of 5 arrived at 1pm. Check-in doesn't happen until 3pm. They have a luggage storage for rent while waiting, which was my original plan. When we got there, the caretakers are in the middle of cleaning our room from the previous renter. I requested last minute if we could just check in instead, as soon as they're done cleaning because it is way too hot (36 degrees). For 1500 yen per hour extra fee, I wouldn't mind paying. I paid the caretaker cash as soon as he confirmed that we can. Yes cash, as I heard Japanese people are that trustworthy. He only charged me 1.5 hours too instead of 2 hours, because we waited 20 minutes. My family was able to settle in comfortably. Arigato gozaimasu! The room was clean, there was just the food smell from the previous tenant that lingered for a bit. My only suggestion is maybe they should put an electric fan right by the entrance of the hotel during summer. It is very cramped and humid, esp. when you share it with the other renters while waiting for the elevators.

- Donna (10/5): - This hotel was good value for money. I stayed here with my husband and two teenage daughters in July 2025 and we loved the location. There is no front desk/lobby. Make sure to check your email/messages before arriving for instructions on how to check in. If you need to call the staff answers the phone right away and will come down instantly to help. I appreciated having enough space for 4 people, a full-size refrigerator with freezer, and an in-suite washing machine.

Grocery store around the corner. Walkable to Kuramon market, Namba walk and Shinsaibashisuji shopping arcade. Took a taxi back home daily with our shopping loot - around Y1000 2 subway lines 10 minutes walking distance that we used to go to Umeda/Osaka station area.

The name Nipponbashi is not on the hotel entrance, it was in Japanese, so we thought we were at the wrong place. The alley way to get there looked kind of suspicious and dark. Overall it was just ok. I would probably try another place next time.

- Simon (6/5): - Pretty basic accommodation, however location is everything in this case, with Dotonburi district and canal about 8mins walk away. A bit too much noise from both inside and outside the hotel for my liking, though. Couldn’t work out how to use the heating or cooking facilities. No reception, so nowhere to leave suitcases after checkout.

There were a lot of great restaurants in the area. We were also able to wash our clothes which is a major plus. The hotel was great at communication and was so gracious to arrange for our luggage to be delivered to our next destination.

- Edgar (6/5): - The place is excellent, except for the bed, it was very old or damaged so the rest was zero, and the pillows were very thin, I had to put a shirt on a cushion to be able to sleep more or less. Resting in Japan is something essential after long walks during the day, it is something you should pay attention to. Everything else, the place is perfect.

I didnt like the steps.goijg into our.room. it goes up and then down Because it was late at night, i had triped 3 times and fell down badly. My dad also tripped twice and fell as well. Please fix the step problem or place some sort of safety border. Glow in the dark edges, reflectors.and etcetera. I also like the vaccuum where i was able to clean the floor a little bit upon arrival. We really enjoyed our stay and we will book again in the future. We definitely recommend this hotel.
- sarah (10/5): - Very clean, spacious, and close to major tourist attractions. Dotonbori, Osaka Castle, and Takashimaya are all within walking distance. The unit is well-equipped with a large fridge and freezer, microwave, and washing machine, though it does not have a drying function. There's a balcony if you need to hang dry clothes but the coin laundry is also just around the corner. The hosts have written instructions very clearly but are also quick to communicate if you have any questions. We could hear some street noise sometimes, but not to the point that it bothered us. This would be a great option for longer stays; we wish we had stayed here for more than a few nights!

- Mark (10/5): Great stay buy more an apartment than a hotel - Had a great time staying here and the host company were fantastic and were very helpful in us getting our luggage transferred, but I did feel the advert was slightly misleading as this is more of an apart-hotel than a straight hotel, with no reception or anything like that so be aware of that if it makes a difference to you. That said I really enjoyed our time here.

- fen yu (8/5): - It was really hard to find the hotel as it wasn’t where the map lead us to and it was our first time in Japan… the building facade was under construction and hard to recognize. I couldn’t connect to the internet and was not able to receive the code for our key locker message sent on the day. Thankfully there was a staff that approached us to solve the problem. He probably was in the security cam room. After that, everything was great. Check out was easy. Room was small but typical of Japan. Had separate toilet and shower which was great! Pola aromatherapy shampoo etc smelled wonderful and relaxing! Very close to Dotonbori! Clean and will choose there again if we go back!
- Sadie (2/5): - During our stay in Japan, we stayed at three hotels. This was by far the most unpleasant stay. The room fit five people, but it didn't comfortably live five people. It was very cramped and had almost no sound insulation, so we could all hear each other and everyone in the rooms around us at all times, even in different areas. The beds were the worst part. They were beyond uncomfortable. It felt like sleeping on a chain link fence with a thin sheet over it. By the end of our 4-day stay, our hips and spines and backs were aching and sore. It was impossible to get a good night's sleep. The room was cute, but comfort was non-existent. Communication left a lot to be desired. We weren't told beforehand that there would be construction around the building; there were loud construction sounds every day from 8:30 AM to about 6 PM. I might've been less upset about this if we'd known in advance, but no one told us. We also didn't get the mailbox code we were promised beforehand and had to call someone when we got in to help us get to our room. The sole staff member was nice when we interacted with him. It was clean and very nice to look at, and the shower was fine (though very small). I would forgive the communication issues if the beds had been comfortable, but my true issue lies in all of the sounds, the cramped space, and how miserable the beds were to sleep on. I would not book here again.

- Leonard (10/5): - Very clean and modern hotel that easily accommodated our family of 5. Separate washroom and shower room and a decent kitchen all away from the living room/sleeping area. Self check-in and out was simple and communication with the manager was easy. Only complaint would be that the location is a bit further from the train station than we would have liked but it is still walkable. 5 minute walk to the heart of Dontunburi area as well. Laundry mat and convenience stores are a minute away.
- Keiko (10/5): Great beautiful place - This was located in the excellent area for tourists and we enjoyed every single day around Osaka and Kyoto. Even around the neighborhood has old style arcade which brought us good childhood memories (I’m Japanese National and live in Hawaii long time). The room was clean, AC working, quiet at night, comfortable beds, spacious for a big city in Japan, and easy communication with the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
