Guest Reviews
- Emma (10/5): - Staff were wonderful and accomodating.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Expensive, but served a purpose. - Clean and convenient, basically a cupboard with a bed in it. A chance to get a few hours sleep on a layover. Expensive for what it is, really.
- Yasar (10/5): - Had an amazing experience staying with Sleep n Fly. Definitely recommend if you have a little longer layover at DXB.
- Maria (10/5): - We were impressed with the cleanliness and professionalism of the staff. It was comfortable and we had a good night's rest.
- Usman (6/5): - I liked the staff however, there were people from other pods making noise and somehow there was no check and balance to control that
- Khachatur (2/5): - Too narrow to relax and sleep. For ~100$ one can take a lounge and have an access to a sofa, food, drinks and space. Waste of money
- Shakhnoza (8/5): - Conveniently located inside the terminal, close to the gates, as well as shops and restaurants.
Was a bit too cold. Had to ask for a blanket.
- Oluyemisi (8/5): - It was quiet, cozy and exactly as promoted. I stayed there on April 18 and was assisted and impressed by Kimberly how was the attendant on due. She was professional, helpful, respectful and kind. As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe and she took good care of me while taking me through the check-in and check-out process. I am grateful for her.
- Peggy (8/5): - Does the job when you’re in need of a sleep when transiting. This one is a little old and tired. I couldn’t get any of my 3 USB cables to work so that I could charge my phone but they came up with a fix. It wasn’t until I used the toilets in the airport that I realised my black trackies were covered in blue fluff from the blanket provided.
- Nagina (10/5): - Brilliant
- Raymond (8/5): - Great place to rest before next flight. It’s a little cold so bring some warmer wear to sleep.
- Joel (4/5): - AC inside yawn cabin was not blowing air
- Lisa-Marie (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay at the YAWN Cabin, as it was a very convenient way of spending the night at the airport. The check-in procedure was very uncomplicated and the staff were very friendly.
Our cabin was clean, although not spotless.
Our only issue was the noise level produced by other guests that slammed doors and talked quite loudly - otherwise we would have got a very good night's sleep in a quiet environment.
- Nowsherwan (10/5): - Relaxing place food was good
- Gholamreza (10/5): - Great area to rest and relax
- Iffatur (10/5): - It was a nice hideout for 10 hours during our 14 hour layover. We got to keep our belongings safe while we walk around, and have a nice nap as well.
- Rosalind (6/5): - Bed was too firm for me.
- Pierre (8/5): Escale reposante - Agréable pour une longue escale nocturne à Dubaï, l'aéroport est plein jour et nuit, difficile de trouver des sièges
- Meghan (10/5): - The receptionist was outstanding
- Haitham (8/5): - Good place to stay for transit flights
- Mike (4/5): - Charging didn't worked inside the capsule
WI-fi not support calling , messaging only
- Shmuel (2/5): - You can’t sleep there. they give you a box with a mattress, but there is holes in the roof that light and noise come in, and you can’t lock the door
- Abby (8/5): - It was very nice to have a safe space to relax and get a proper sleep on a long stop over. However I thought it was quite pricey for what I got, so I wouldn't usually go for this. Also the charging ports in my room didn't work (do you have to pay extra?) and there wasn't a way to fully turn out all the lights which is not so useful when trying to sleep.
- Pratik (10/5): - All good
- Verified traveler (10/5): Delivers on promise. - Impossibly simple, but perfect for a long layover. Having a home base and walking 5 min to gate after waking was amazing.
- Ian (8/5): - This was exactly as anticipated and described on the web site. It is ideal if you want a bed to crash out on in a quiet space between flights. It is a very small room.
It was near gate A1 as described , but is not sign posted , and is NOT the "Hotel" that the airport signage leads you to nearby.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Quiet? - Despite advertising the minimum age of 15, there was a very young baby who took a while to settle.
I will use this facility again, but will chose a different room
- Kaushik (10/5): - Great service
- raed (8/5): - It's a good option for rest while transit trip , but the price is very high for only sleep service
- Richard & Maria (2/5): - We assumed that there would be toilet and shower facilities included. The public facilities were far away. We could hardly fit our backpacks in the room, we had to climb over them to get in the bed. One light wasn’t working and it was airless. It was extremely expensive for what was offered and they refused to give us a refund when we saw how bad it was.The lounge chairs out side would have been better. It took us over an hour to find the place coming from Budapest. At midnight no one could tell us where to go. So never again.
- Amirreza (10/5): - .
- Gary (8/5): - Very convenient
- Michael (4/5): - I did manage to get some sleep but it just has no sound proofing and there are so many people in such a small area. I would use again because what else do you do to pass 7 hours. But its not great.
- Piotr (10/5): - Ok for a few hours
- Sal (8/5): - Good place to stay for few hours while wait for the flights mosque and washrooms near by so pretty convenient
- Tim (8/5): - Would be nice if the reception had refreshments (water etc) to sell. Also the timings of my transit did not match the bookable options so i had to leave before i would have liked.
Otherwise very good.
- Emma (2/5): - Check in is always painful and slow. I don’t know why the check in staff are so slow and it’s such a faff to get checked in. Not what you want at 1/2am in the morning. The accommodation is always loud but better than nothing but this time we had a very loud family next to us talking loudly to each other with children running around at 3.30. We had to check out at 5.30 so didn’t really get any rest due to slow check in and people being loud. Think this will be the last time we use.
- Chris (8/5): 11pm-7pm stay over - Easy checkin and comfortable. A little noisy with people coming and going and noise from the departures area. But overall very good and a good nights sleep and very convenient.
- Mustafa (4/5): - Not what I was thinking. The biggest issue the door does not have lock from outside so if u want to go to bathroom u have to take all ur valuable stuff. Also, the area is not quite, there was kids crying, people chatting, noise
- charlotte (8/5): - Comfortable quiet sleep area for a long lay over between flights. Would benefit from wash room facilities within the actual area
- mayur (8/5): - Very convenient
- Sheila (10/5): - Great to have space to sleep without exiting the terminal
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing hotel - Great location, tasty and well balanced breakfast, the most helpful staff. Will definitely come back
- Douglas (2/5): - Was booked at Terminal 3 but they told us we were at wrong terminal and we had to go to terminal 1 3/4 of an hour and a bus ride away. Got to Terminal 1 and was told there our booking was at Terminal 3. Had three hours rest out of 7 and then back to terminal 3 for our flight. Not happy - otherwise the concept was fine but implementation lousy.
- Randall (10/5): - Great Place
- Lakshminarasamma (10/5): - Very helpful staff. My mom travelled alone and they helped me in reaching out to her. Very generous staff.
- judy (6/5): - The property was hard to find especially at 1 in the morning, no big sign but apart from that it was comfortable and clean
- judy (10/5): - Had a great stay
- Sujeet (10/5): - Perfect for transit sleep
- Emma (6/5): - It was quite lengthy wait to check in. Very noisy. Why don’t you switch lights on to wake people rather than knocking and waking everyone up? Also noisy when making up beds. Why dont you leave diverts rolled up to be quieter? Tell guests not to talk. It’s all very noisy and hard to get sleep.
- Peter (2/5): - Disgusting and overpriced for what you get.
Never again.
- Alexandra (4/5): - For what it is I.e. a business class seat (but without the space) with a roof it’s totally overpriced. People coming and going, noisy and no privacy.
- Edward (10/5): Sleep n' Fly is Good - Great staff and i had a good rest
- Puamiria (8/5): - The sleep n fly unit is perfect if you just need somewhere safe and clean to sleep. It takes away the fear of sleeping in public and having yourself and your possessions on full display. The downside of this option is that there are no dedicated bathrooms and showers attached.
- michelle (10/5): A handy way to rest and recharge :) - I stayed in the 'pod' style area and not the bedroom accommodation. It was pretty easy to find and the staff were helpful and friendly. Due to reserving pre-set slots as opposed to the actual time you want, on arrival I asked whether there was availability for another hour (which there was) and reserved/paid a bit more with no issues. I just wanted to go to a quiet space in which I could relax in my own safe/secure space (which this was) due to a flight delay. The wide chairs do lay fully flat as there is full adjustability. I found for my own preference that the chairs were a bit too firm for sleeping but had a nice width so I wasn't banging my elbows/knees etc. There was plenty of space for my hand luggage/jackets etc and the other users were quiet and mindful of others. This was a really handy place to rest and recharge in a nice quiet space away from the hustle and bustle and would have no issues recommending :). Included in the price was your comfy pillow and blanket, just so you know there isn't an extra charge and the pillow was comfy too :) but be aware the blanket does leave fluff over you haha !!!.
- Richard (4/5): Igloo pod and sleep mutually exclusive - The single "Igloo Pods" are a disaster ... extremely claustrophobic, more like a fully reclining chair with a venetian blind over the top than anything resembling a bed. It was however clean and warm and the staff courteous. The other problem was noise level from other "guests" as they went in and out of their pods. I'm afraid I cannot recommend the Igloo Pod for sleeping, it might suffice if you just want to close your eyes for an hour.
- Elisabeth (10/5): - Wish there. Could have been washroom on site. But. Otherwise worked out well.
- Gemma (4/5): Great idea but very noisy - Great idea and beds are large and quite comfortable (would benefit from a mattress topper and a thicker blanket). Main issue was noise… woken up every time someone came in or left the room. Shame they don’t have separate rooms with set times so you and your companions are all in at the same time. Wouldn’t recommend as barely slept…
- Nadezda (10/5): - Great place to relax before your flight. Really helpful and attentive staff.
- Masooma (8/5): - Good only noisy doors and inside the room is hot little bit.
- Artour (2/5): - Very noisy environment, no privacy, you cannot lock your room, light is on all the time, you cannot have proper sleep, overall not happy.
- Scott (8/5): - Nice if your just trying to get some rest inbetween a flight.
- Neda (8/5): - A bit noisy, but in general it was good to relax and rest a couple of hours before the flight
- Belinda (10/5): - Great Sleep and Accommodation!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - No local safe WiFi, only dark light, no usb charge power, no bathroom
- Nada (10/5): - gave us the opportunity to sleep and rest when transiting. Otherwise it would have been a very Tiring journey
- Yury (2/5): - Cold , dirty , uncomfortable, smells bad
- Miriam (8/5): - I arrived at midday and wanted to check if my reservation was okay. The receptionist told Me that I was going to stay for 8 hrs so my check in was to start at 23:00 and check out at 07:00 The receptionist then decided to put check in at 21:00 and My card was charged 10 hrs. At 23:00 hrs when I decided to check in they tell me that I was to check in at 21:00 I feel they were so unfair, unprofessional and uncouth with very poor customer care. I then demanded my 10 hrs to which the check in lady says I don’t know what happened in the morning so I can’t help you. I think they need more professional people who have the skills and courtesy to work with international clients. I was so unhappy with the reception
- Ankur (6/5): - It was not very quite .. but other than that everything was very good
- Dr nadia (8/5): - It was noisy need working on it
- Jasmeet (8/5): - Loved the fact that the children and me could stretch our legs and have a wee rest. The YAWN cabin is tiny, just like a cupboard but the bed was comfy and there were charging points and it was quiet. The biggest downside is that you have to go out of the unit to go to the toilet. We had to pay a lot of money for a quick shower in a neighboring massage & nails place . If they had toilet and shower facilities within the hotel area, it would be perfect.
- ian (4/5): - Needs must after airline changed departure time. Insanely expensive . No toilets or wash favilities
- Ram (4/5): - This is not a full-fledged lodging/hotel. It is just a sleeping pod - however, if you are staying for 15 hours during a layover, you will be paying the price of a 5-star hotel rate for the night, without even the basic amenities (like water, TV, in-room toilet/shower, etc.)
- Lloyd (8/5): Good overnight Dubai Sleep @ Sleep & Fly - "Room" was clean & bed comfortable & lights, plugs worked.
Sealed wet cloths very welcome.
Service friendly and efficient.
Negative goes with the terrain - other customers load voices woke temporarily
- Irtazat (6/5): - Not really comfortable
- George (10/5): - Room is not sound proof so bit noisy, otherwise enjoyed the stay.
- Soukaina (2/5): - Not clean and smells . No bathrooms available. you have to use the airport bathrooms. A lot of noise. Everytime somebody comes in or out you will wake up. You will hear people snoring too. It was the worst experience ever. Save yourself some money and sleep outside in the chaires.
- Pralay (10/5): - Cheery and Picidae( hope I m spelling his name correct) we’re amazing. My elderly parents had the best service ever. They were very helpful, when old you might not be able to navigate or explain things that easily, however they helped them clam down and call me to make the arrangements. It was a wonderful experience. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you
- Aymen (2/5): Never again - The bed was not made. The sheets were all over the place.
The place was extremely noisy with people walking and talking loudly next to my sleeping pod.
In all honesty you are better off laying on one of the free recliner chairs in the terminal.
Even the charge socket was bad.
- Derek (2/5): - If you're looking for a place to rest and get some sleep, find somewhere else. The wall of the suits are thin and those of the pods are even more so. People come and go every few minutes and are not respectful of others who are resting.
- Kevin Bourke (6/5): Serves a purpose but average and expensive - As expected, it was just somewhere to put one’s head for a few hours. It is quite expensive for what is, in essence, a bed in a very small space with bathroom the public bathroom nearby in the airport. We had a double bed ( not a cocoon) and walls were paper thin! Disturbed night because people are in very close proximity and coming and going at all hours. Certainly not for anyone who suffers from claustrophobia!
Next time I have a short stopover in Dubai I would simply pay 25euros and chill out in the Miracle Lounge.
- Ghani (2/5): - The stuff were mean and some how my kids got scared and couldn’t sleep all night including my wife. Very terrible
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Need ear plugs if people talk around you. These are provided
- Cedric (6/5): good facility and service, spoiled by my neigbours - Service is great and the concept of This hotel is its location : right in the terminal of the airport, so It only makes sense to book if you have a long layover in Dubai airport, which was my case.
Everything up to my expectations apart from my neighbors : they discussed loudly for 2 hours in a facility that is not meant to do anything else than sleeping... rooms are very small, which is ok, but not well isolated from the room next door.
- DavidB (6/5): - 12 pods in one room. They supply ear plugs, you'll need them.
