- YTjen (10/5): They deserve the title as 2nd best hotel in the world! - The Four Seasons Bangkok is undeniably beautiful. The property is sleek, the design is immaculate, and it carries that signature Four Seasons polish. However, I couldn’t shake the feeling that the overall vibe was a bit cold. While everything was efficient, the atmosphere felt somewhat sterile and lacked the warm, intuitive Thai hospitality I was expecting from a property of this caliber. It’s a gorgeous hotel, but it felt a little distant. That said, there were notable exceptions. First, the breakfast is absolutely world-class. The spread is incredible, the quality of ingredients is top-tier, and the live stations (especially the dim sum and the noodle soups) are not to be missed. It was a true highlight of the stay. Second, the Bangkok Social Club is absolutely worth the hype—and it's easy to see why it earns a spot on the list of the world's 50 best bars. The cocktail program is exceptional, and the atmosphere is so lively, with the space itself beautifully designed. It's the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time. If you're staying at the hotel or just visiting Bangkok, this bar alone is a compelling reason to come. Finally, I have to give a massive thank you to Khun Jack from the concierge team, who had extended warm engagement when I was bracing for a stressful ordeal while waiting for my taxi to the airport during morning rush hour. He was calm, proactive, and incredibly knowledgeable. His engagement was warm, personal, and exactly the kind of service you hope for at a luxury hotel.

The design of all parts of the property are stunning, but it is the people that makes this one of the best hotels in the world. The staff are intuitive, helpful, but most importantly have personalities. I want to specifically mention Basz who went well out of his way to assist me with a complicated request to assist with a shipment of goods he arranged for me, done with a smile.

The stunning property immediately caught my eye, and the friendly staff made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. I loved the unique experiences offered, from savoring the delicious coffee in the lobby to exploring the impressive art museum and enjoying the exceptional restaurants. My son was especially delighted with the breakfast buffet, the fun kids' room, and the warm kindness of the staff toward him.

- 607humanb (10/5): Romantic Spot in Central Bangkok - Pros • Several lovely restaurants, a huge riverside setting, and a high-quality pool make this feel like a resort in the centre of Bangkok. • Quiet room, decorated to a high standard. • A truly supererogatory level of hospitality displayed by the staff. For example, the concierge exercised remarkable patience and perspicacity in helping us book a flight, bus, and ferry to Koh Samui at check-out, as direct flights were fully booked over New Year. • Nice bar and adjoining cigar lounge with a good selection of Cubans. • Good value for money. Cons • The Italian chef refused to put pineapple on my pizza — despite me paying over £800 a night. It felt unnecessarily petty, especially given that many so-called “traditions” are relatively modern inventions, later elevated and neatly pressed into “national identity.” • Some guests were not very sociable (and occasionally plain rude), though the Four Seasons can hardly be blamed for this. Sadly, it often seems to come with the price point, with so much new money around in many hotels.

The location along the Chao Phraya River is simply spectacular — peaceful, elegant, and perfectly connected to the heart of Bangkok. I visited on an incentive trip with my wife and five brokers from our company, and it couldn’t have been a better setting to mix business, relaxation, and celebration. The pool area is absolutely stunning — spacious, sophisticated, and ideal for unwinding after meetings. Being so close to the river gives the entire property a unique energy and tranquility that’s hard to describe. The bar service by the river was top-notch. Great cocktails, attentive staff, and that magical Bangkok skyline reflecting over the water at sunset… unforgettable. This hotel truly delivers upscale comfort with world-class service. Highly recommended for couples, executive retreats, or incentive trips. You definitely feel you’re staying somewhere special. 🌊🍸✨

Unlike Capella, this is not 5-star quality. - I am writing this to express my deep disappointment with the service at Four Seasons. For a hotel ranked among the best in the world, the behavior of the ground staff is completely unacceptable and frankly, insulting. The Incident: I arrived with three friends in an Alphard around 4:00 PM on January 31, 2026. While two of my friends went inside to inquire about rooms and a tour, my other friend and I waited in the car. We parked at the corner of the parking area—not in front of the main entrance—and the parking lot was virtually empty. Despite this, a doorman approached us three separate times within 30 minutes, telling us we could not park and he accuse us we parked for 1 hour already. On the final occasion, he rudely claimed we had been there for an hour and told us to get out of the parking area. The Comparison: I frequently stay at top-tier properties like Capella and Sindhorn Kempinski, where the service is always impeccable and the staff are welcoming. At those hotels, they understand hospitality. Here, I was treated with zero respect despite being in a luxury vehicle and intending to book rooms. The Response: When we went to the reception to complain, the doorman doubled down, claiming a "15-minute rule" for parking. The most insulting part was the staff's attitude when we asked for the Duty Manager; one staff member simply said, “Ok, fine,” with total indifference. While the Duty Manager eventually apologized for her staff’s actions, the initial experience was so bitter that it ruined the visit. If you want to be treated like a valued guest, go to Capella or Kempinski instead. The Four Seasons front-of-house staff clearly need a lesson in basic hospitality.

We had just arrived and were checking in for 15 minutes, but the staff told us we had been there for an hour and tried to force our car to move. This was a blatant lie and felt very unwelcoming. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected much better integrity and hospitality. It’s a shame that the first impression was based on such a negative experience.

- Compass01707176069 (2/5): Zero Social Responsibility - Severe Noise Disturbance to the Community - I am writing this to warn others about this hotel’s complete lack of social responsibility. Their recent event was a nightmare for the entire neighborhood. The noise disturbance began with loud music blasting since the afternoon, which escalated throughout the evening. By 9:00 PM, they capped it off with an excessively long and violent firework display. The impact was massive—the explosions were so loud they could be heard and felt 2 kilometers away, causing widespread panic in surrounding condominiums. Elderly residents and young children were severely distressed and startled in their own homes. When confronted, the management showed zero accountability, dismissively blaming a private wedding event. As the venue owner, you are responsible for the actions permitted on your grounds. Blasting music for half a day and ending with a disruptive firework show in a residential area is unacceptable. This establishment has proven to be a terrible neighbor. If you care about supporting businesses that operate ethically and respect the local community, please reconsider staying here.

I would first like to extend a sincere thank you to Guest experience Manager, Killian who is a real asset to the Four Seasons brand. Following a smooth airport experience organised by the hotel, we were met promptly upon arrival and transferred their Mercedes chauffeur service. The entire process was seamless and set the tone for our stay. Upon arrival at the hotel Kieran and the team personally welcomed us at the entrance and we were escorted directly to our room. A special thank you to Lubosh for upgrading us to a beautiful river-facing suite — it was spectacular. We have stayed in many exceptional hotels but the warmth, interior design, and homely atmosphere of the suite were truly impressive. A member of the team kindly showed us around the room and took time to explain the hotel’s amenities and dining options in detail. The hotel’s interior is stunning, with high ceilings, beautiful artwork and tranquil water features throughout the property. The landscaped gardens are immaculately maintained and add to the calm and luxurious atmosphere. At the pool, Nu and Jack provided consistently excellent service throughout our stay. They were attentive, polite and proactive, regularly offering cold water and ensuring we were comfortable including thoughtfully providing mosquito spray when needed. As expected with a riverside garden-style property, there were some mosquitoes around the pool and occasionally in the room. However housekeeping responded promptly by spraying the room and providing additional mosquito repellent, which was very much appreciated and handled professionally. Breakfast each morning was fresh and enjoyable, with pleasant and attentive staff. While the coffee service was occasionally a little slow, it did not detract from the overall experience. We made regular use of the spa and I had a massage with Honey who was wonderful — warm, professional and highly skilled. The spa facilities are outstanding, immaculate and very well managed. All spa staff were welcoming and helpful. BKK Social Bar was another highlight. A big thank you to Gotchi and the entire bar team and hostess. The mixologists were friendly, engaging and clearly very talented — they make an excellent lychee martini. The bar itself is beautifully designed with low lighting and a very stylish atmosphere. One of the most impressive aspects of our stay was the personal touch. Throughout the hotel, staff addresses you by name, which demonstrates a high level of professionalism and genuine care for guests. For dinner my favourite restaurant was the Thai restaurant on the river at Capella. Tohkhoo provided impeccable service — friendly, attentive and intuitive. When he noticed I was itching, mosquito spray was brought to the table without me even needing to ask, which was a perfect example of the thoughtful service we experienced throughout our stay, this similar situation happened at breakfast and they done the same. Housekeeping was also exceptional. Although we rarely saw the team our room was immaculate every day. Thoughtful details such as personalised initials on items in the room, leather organisers for phone cables and placing our sunglasses on a microfibre cloth were all greatly appreciated. It is easy to see why this hotel is recognised as one of the world’s top properties. It truly feels like a home away from home. We extended our stay by an additional four nights. While there was some preparation for a wedding during our stay, and some water areas were temporarily covered toward the end, this caused minimal disruption and did not significantly impact our experience. Thank you again to the entire team at Four Seasons Bangkok. This was a special stay, and we very much look forward to returning later this year.

- frank (7/5): - The pool is very poorly located if you enjoy the sun. There is only sun from 10:00 to 12:00, and this applies to just 10 loungers, which get taken very quickly. So you constantly feel rushed to finish breakfast and hurry to secure a lounger and a bit of sun. We checked in on my birthday, but there was no champagne in the room. We stayed here for 7 nights and then spent another 7 nights at the Mandarin. The Four Seasons is very beautiful and modern, but the level of service at the Mandarin is simply not comparable and doesn’t even come close. You can only truly understand this if you’ve stayed there yourself. At breakfast, for example, they asked for our room number every day and then told us that breakfast was not included. We would explain that it was, after which they would apologize. This happened multiple days in a row. We did have a nice stay, but the service is just average, what you get everywhere in Bangkok. They don’t do anything personal or any extra touches.

Nothing is included in the accommodation, even though we took the most luxurious room. The swimming pool is incredibly modest.

Particularly a man named Art, that seems to think its beyond his capability to find fresh towels for me or move an umbrella. He was acting as though I was a nuisance for asking a place to lay. He huffed and puffed and complained… yesterday he told me to wait in my room until a place by the pool was available. This was after a 23 hour flight from Los Angeles. Unbelievable. He should not be working in hospitality - at all.

- Tve2012 (10/5): Stylish, tranquil hotel in the heart of buzzing Bangkok - If you like to be in a centrally located high end spacious hotel this is the place to be. In the general area you have plenty of space to sit, drink a coffee or a great cocktail with different views. Outside there is a beautifully maintained pond and at the end of the hotel there is the pool overlooking the river. There is plenty of options to eat with both European options, as well as Asian. The rooms are modern, clean, well equiped with large windows with spectacular views. The gym is also well equiped with new machines. We didn't use the spa, so not sure about that, but it looked great. The breakfast was extensive in choice, very delicious, fresh fruit and juices, a range from Asian choices and international choice. Superb, one of the best breakfasts outfits that i have seen. The staff is very helpfull, alert and always smiling. Not much to fault, apart from maybe the quite high priced Cantonese restaurant that we found disappointing (separate review on this in another review). Overall a great recommend to stay, if i ever return to Bangkok, this is on my shortlist.

The bedrooms are large and comfortable and cleaned twice a day. The restaurants are amazing and yet very expensive for Bangkok standards, still reasonably priced compared to London, for instance. The gym, spa, and pool facilities are functional and elegant and I cannot wait to come back to what I can easily call the best hotel I have ever been to. Honestly, nothing. Absolutely no complains. Everything is an "yes" from the staff side and I could not have had a better stay.
