- Jeremy (9/5): An ideal location with fantastic staff. - Above and beyond the hotels location with is ideal both for visitors and those of us there for work what stands out at the Mornington Hotel Hyde Park are the staff. From the moment i arrived to the staff could not have been more helpful. The evening staff we so helpful but this seems typical form the cleaners to the restaurant staff. Only a flying one night visit for work but will now me my go to place when in town. The room was very small but clean and everything worked and as i was only there for a few hours is absolutely fine.

- Torbjorn (3/5): NOT a 4 star hotel - Definitely NOT a 4 star hotel. And definitely NOT a suite. We booked two “executive suites” through Booking.com. One had scaffolding outside the window on the terrace. When trying to open the window, it kept on closing so we had to put a roll of toilet paper to keep it a little bit open at night as there was no ventilation in the room. The safe didn’t work. The shower in the bathtub was made for people smaller than 1 meter 60 so we had to sit on our knees and use the hand shower. The wall to wall carpet in the stairs in the “suite” and in the upstairs area smells of cigarettes since it’s so old. The phone on the bedside table is no longer working but still there and taking up most space. We only got cleaning 2 out of 4 days due to different reasons. The breakfast room was chaotic and stressful during the weekend . They charge 25 GBP per person. The bread is these supermarket sliced toasts or bake off baguettes. The gym is clearly NOT what you would expect from a hotel gym in 2026. It’s tiny tiny and has one treadmill . Far too squeezed for being used by 2 guests at the same time. It shouldn’t be mentioned as a gym But the worst was one of the receptionists who just couldn’t smile and was even VERY rude at one point.

Si il est réservé la veille, le prix s'élève a 15£, sinon prévoir 26£, ce qui n'est pas très rentable. Les enfants ne paient pas L'emplacement de la chambre familiale, située dans le "basement", en sous sol, avec vue directe sur le pub. On entend bien les chambres du dessus ainsi que les métros. La chambre mériterait aussi d'être climatisée/chauffée directement depuis la chambre plutôt que de devoir appeler la réception.

- John (9/5): Very enjoyable weekend break at BW Mornington Hyde Park - Was impressed by reception area and bar/lounge. Really lovely decor. Hotel was generally very quiet even although there was some building work next door but it didn't affect me. Breakfast was very good and freshly cooked to order. Shower in room could have been a little stronger but just a minor observation.

La chambre est trop petite et manque d'équipement pour un 4 étoiles. Il manque un mini bar avec des bouteilles d'eau et un petit frigo par exemple. La douche manque vraiment de débit. C'est vraiment dommage car l'eau coulait trop lentement. Cela a un peu gâché l'expérience client. Sinon tout le reste était très bien.

- Bianca (8/5): Gutes Hotel für Städtetripp mit ausgezeichnetem Frühstück - Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße, die Economy Zimmer sind klein und etwas abgewohnt aber für einen Städtetripp völlig ausreichend (nur nicht im Erdgeschoss buchen) - wem Economy nicht ausreicht, kann natürlich vorab etwas größers buchen. Das Frühstück ist wirklich ausgezeichnet und es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei! Die Lage in Paddington nahe am Hydepark war für uns optimal: zum Park sind es keine 5 Gehminuten, zum Bahnhof Paddington braucht es höchstens 10 - von dort kommt man auf direktem Weg mit der Elisabethline direkt vom/zum Flughafen, mit der Bakerloo z.B. zum Piccadili bzw. Oxfordcircus, in die Bakerstreet (Madame Tussads) oder nach Waterloo (London Eye, Elisabeth Tower uvm.) und mit der Circleline zum Tower Hill (Tower of London, Towerbridge) Unser erstes Zimmer im Erdgeschoss war sehr klein und ohne Ausblick, auf Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt, dass für die erste Nacht leider nichts anderes frei ist, wir aber am Tag darauf in ein neues Zimmer ziehen können - dieses Angebot haben wir gern angenommen und waren dann im 3. Stock. Kleines Manko im Bad: auf warmes Wasser in der Dusche muss man recht lange warten - wir haben das aber nicht beanstandet, fraglich also ob es nur am Zimmer lag, oder die komplette Anlage mal modernisiert werden müsste. Aktuell befindet sich neben dem Hotel eine Baustelle da das angrenzende Gebäude saniert wird - dadurch sind zwar die Fenster etwas staubig, gestört wurden wir durch die Arbeiten aber nie

- Vanessa (4/5): Auch wenn die Lage gut ist, nicht zu empfehlen. - Die Lage war wirklich gut. Hinter dem Hotel gab es direkt einen wirklich guten Pub. Das Hotel lag direkt am Kennsington Park und nur zwei Straßen weiter befindet sich eine Bahnstation. Das Frühstück hatte deutlich mehr zu bieten als ,,Continental“. Es gab eine extra Speisekarte mit verschiedenen Optionen zum kostenfreien dazu bestellen. Das Zimmer ist sehr klein, was in London zu erwarten ist, der Zustand jedoch nicht. Es wirkt deutlich abgewohnt und schlecht instand gehalten. Die Matratze war sichtbar durchgelegen und entsprechend unkomfortabel. Hinzu kommen mehrere gravierende Mängel: undichte Fenster, sehr schlechte Schalldämmung sowie sichtbarer Schimmel im Zimmer (durch Fotos dokumentiert). Der Schimmel ist dabei nicht nur ein optischer Mangel, sondern ein hygienisch bedenklicher Zustand. Das Badezimmer ist extrem klein und in schlechtem Pflegezustand. Der Wasserdruck war so gering, dass Duschen zeitweise kaum möglich war, insbesondere zu Stoßzeiten. Zusätzlich funktionierte die Heizung im Bad nicht. Lose Deckenlampen und abgeplatzte Farbe verstärken den Eindruck mangelnder Instandhaltung. Der Zimmersafe war bei Ankunft verschlossen und nicht nutzbar, was den Eindruck unzureichender Zimmerkontrolle zusätzlich verstärkt.

- Francesca (8/5): Ho apprezzato la loro disponibilità nel cambio della camera il gg dopo - La camera , la seconda assegnata, perché all’arrivo era la 5* piano, piccola con una finestrella appena e soprattutto per chi come mia figlia ed io che soffriamo di claustrofobia, arrivarci tramite scale strette soprattutto dal 3* piano in su e pure a chiocciola, era un incubo. Alle mie rimostranze la ragazza della reception mi ha detto che per quella sera erano al completo ma mi ha detto che il giorno dopo ci avrebbero dato un upgrade al primo piano e così è stato . Ho apprezzato la loro cordialità soprattutto di Iwona alla colazione , la posizione. La prima camera al 5* piano

- Tanja (7/5): Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt in London - Die Lage in direkter Nähe des Hyde Parks war toll. Außerdem war das Frühstück super und das Personal beim Frühstück total freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer waren extrem klein, das Wasser im Badezimmer wurde nur lauwarm und das erst nach einigen Minuten. Dazu war die Qualität der Dusche sehr minderwertig.
- Schilder (5/5): Beste tijd gehad - De locatie was ideaal Het hotel is gedateerd, personeel onvriendelijk en gebrek aan onderhoud. Lekkende wc, douche en kraan. Klein ingezakt bed, ijskoud in de badkamer. Raar stuk plastic voor het raam in de badkamer, waarschijnlijk zodat de houten kozijnen niet wegrotten van het vocht. De nachtlampjes knipperen. Kortom: het hotel heeft veel liefde nodig.

- duncan (10/5): good stay near Hyde Park. - location was good, very close to lancaster gate tube station, close to swan pub and close to hyde park - convenient for me and where i wanted to go. room was a small double - was perfectly fine for my needs - good shower and a work area where i could use my laptop. view was of a roof top but thats not a big issue for me. was really competitively priced against other hotels in the area. nothing, all was good.

- Carole (7/5): Pleasant apart from the experience of breakfast! - Very good location! Staff pleasant and helpful Breakfast …. Food good, but dining room small for the large amount of people that were in it! Me and my husband had taken our grandchildren aged 9 and 8 and found it stressful as we were unable to sit by each other and the 8 year struggled with the people barging past him! We obviously went at a popular time!

Personnel très à l'écoute : prêt d'adaptateurs secteurs pour les téléphones - brosses à dents fournies car oubliées ... Petite attention avec les boissons d'accueil. Excellente literie. Proximité du métro et d'une supérette pour acheter de l'eau par exemple ... La chambre donne au - dessus d'un pub. Les gens profitent de la terrasse et cela était bruyant ... Travaux à côté de l'hôtel ...

- Sami (3/5): فندق متهالك - موظفي الاستقبال كانوا في غاية اللطف مبنى ومرافق واثاث الفندق في حالة سيئة ومتهالكة. دورة المياة قديمة وصغيرة وغير نظيفة. العزل سيء والضوضاء عالية في المنطقة كما ان الارضيات خشبية فكل حركة في المبنى تسمعها.

- Jurgita (6/5): Will not recommend to my friends - Breakfast and coffee. Friendly staff. We got the plug for our charges. Location is perfect. We stayed on the 5th floor ant the room was very small. Shower had poor water pressure so it was difficult to have a good shower after long and hot day. Table wasn’t clean. Bed was too soft so it hurt my back and I ended up taking medicine from pain i. Mu neck.

- Eric (2/5): This hotel is rated as a 4 star, in reality it is a two star. - It was clean and the location was good for going to the LSE. The staff were unfriendly. Above all, my room was cold (even when I turned up the thermostat to 28 degrees!). The water in the shower was anywhere between cold and lukewarm.....disgraceful.

- Therese (4/5): Inte så bra. Hade förväntat mig mer. - Frukosten var jättebra. Dåligt påfyllt med toalettpapper och handdukar. Ganska otrevlig tjej vid incheckningen. Jag fyllde 50 år och det uppmärksammades inte.

- Tevri (6/5): Helt okej. - Trevlig personal. Bra läge, nära till tunnelbana. Fanns flera restauranger och caféer nära hotellet. Även kiosker och matbutik. Lugnt och fint område. En stor park nära hotellet. Duschen var usel. Vi fick först ett rum som var väldigt litet och matchade inte bilderna på booking. Sängen var liten, kom väldigt lite vatten från duschslangen. När vi blev uppgraderade till ett annat rum, var rummet mycket större med större säng. Duschslangen var tyvärr likadan, kom väldigt lite vatten så det var svårt att duscha. Kunde endast duscha kroppen och inte håret. Frukosten var helt okej.

A bedside table on both sides of the bed would have been nice although appreciate space was limited in this particular room - that said would definitely stay again.

- Juliana (9/5): Esplêndida! - Quarto espaçoso e banheiro adequado com box e ducha. Cama e travesseiros muito confortáveis. A localização é maravilhosa, a poucos metros do Kesington Garden, perto de estação de trem e metrô. O lobby é muito agradável, com sala de leitura e bar muito charmoso. A gente se sente em casa. De dentro do quarto escutava um pouco o barulho do elevador.

- Mathias (8/5): Im Großen und Ganzen okay - Lage, Frühstück top, Personal sehr nett Zugewiesenes Zimmer extrem klein und die Fenster waren extrem verschmutzt mit Spinnenweben innen und rundherum verstaubt. Wir konnten das Zimmer aber wenigstens problemlos tauschen. Hotel war halbseitig durch ein Baugerüst und Baufolie umzäunt. Kein schöner Anblick bei der Ankunft.
