- nicole (7/5): - I wasn’t overally happy with this hotel. The staff is great and kind though! It was a 40 mins train ride to the main attractions. I wasn’t aware of this before as the reviews wernt clear before booking this, I had the impression this was close to everything. Yes this is next to the main umeda train station which takes you everywhere but it’s far from the major attractions you need to visit. The carpet wasn’t cleaned, stains everywhere n against the wall underneath the cabinet. No storage capacity at all , neither for my luggage and the bad sheets weren’t clean, I noticed yellowish stains on the pillow case, luckily I had my own towel from home and covered that over. If you leave the sticker saying do not disturb, they don’t leave you clean towels outside in a bag, as other hotels do. For the money I paid for, I expected better service.

We stayed in the 3rd floor.facing the window.to the main road. If you are not a deep sleeper like me.. i couldn't sleep as I was woken up for emergency vehicles every night wd were there. If not those, delivery in the middle id the night..

Really appreciated the restocking of the complimentary water daily. The hotel was basic. It had everything that one would need but that's it. I found the hotel chains much better. Unlike Dans, the chains offered at lot more extras such at VOD, great customer service etc.

Нам нужно было такси в аэропорт, так как наш рейс был утренним и общественный транспорт так рано еще не работал. Утром за день до вылеты мы поинтересовались на рецепшене, возможно ли, что для нас вызовут такси. Ответили, что нет проблем. Вернувшись вечером после прогулки, мы подошли к стойке регистрации, чтоб уточнить детали нашего отъезда, персонал уже сменился. Новый сотрудник сперва сказал, что они не смогут вызвать для нас такси, объяснил, где находится их стоянка. Но потом согласился, что нам помогут поймать такси на той стоянке. Условились, что в 5 утра в холле отеля нас встретит сотрудник и поможет с такси. Но когда мы спустились в назначенное время, никого из сотрудников отеля там не было. Подождали около 10 минут, но никто не появился. Этот инцидент оставил неприятное послевкусие о посещении данного отеля.

Rooms need to be updated - Location is very good close to the commercial centre of Umeda Osaka and the big shopping centre around 8 minutes walk with shortcut and direct access to the metro underground station. Convenient as everything is walking distance you dont have to catch a train to go to big shopping centre Room is.a bit outdated. Shower curtain is in dying need of replacement as its not white anymore ans bathroom smells like urine eventhough the room is new. We escalated this issue to the staffs. Cleaner immediately clean it however unfortunately bathroom still has traces of the unpleasant smell. They should update the facilities with the price we are paying per night

- BAO TRAN (5/5): It was a comfortable stay with little frustration due to lack of English speaking staff - It was a bit disappointed with lacking of English speaking staff and they are unable to assist with taxi booking/reservation to go to Kansai airport. These are reason for me to mark it down lacking of English speaking staff which causes some frustration in communication. There is only ice machine on level 2 . It would be better if it available on every 2 levels, ie. on level 2, 4, 6, 8, 10

- H J (1/5): Bad - The location was central. That is the only positive. There was a fire at the hotel in the middle of the night. This was handled extremely poorly and was incredibly dangerous. We were on the 9th floor. The alarm sounded around 5am. We threw ourselves out of bed & made our way to the emergency exit - it did not work. There were 2 exits on our floor. We were stuck for ages; we were all throwing ourselves at the door and bashing it and yanking at it to try & get out. It was terrible. Eventually, 1 of the emergency doors did release & so we didn’t have to use the emergency axe. We got down to street level & there was not a single member of hotel staff anywhere. No staff whatsoever. Fire brigade & police were efficient but they spoke no English. We (English speaking & largely European guests) were not let through the barrier to go back into the hotel through the front door for some reason but other guests (mainly Japanese-speaking) were. There was no explanation for this. Again, no hotel staff anywhere to be seen. No one checked to see if we were ok, no one did a register. It was bizarre. We waited for a further hour or so to be allowed back in, but the police did not let us go back into via the front door like the other guests - they gestured to us to go all the way up the emergency fire escape to floor 9, which we did. The emergency staff arrived promptly. The hotel staff were nowhere to be seen throughout the incident, nor did they mention it the next day or during the rest of our stay or acknowledge it ever happened. The fact the fire escapes did not work for some time is extremely poor and dangerous! I have never written a bad review but as this concerns safety, I have, because I think it is important people know it is unsafe. We were not compensated. Separately, the food was also not good but my main comment is the health and safety issues. I think we should receive a refund for this hotel. I should like booking.com to assist with this.

- 栗田 (2/5): - 事前の問い合わせにも丁寧に返信してくださって、とても親切だとかんじました。 ①窓がしっかり閉まっているのに、隙間風があり、さらに外の音がまるで外にいるかのように聞こえる。 ②明け方に火災報知器がなって、避難したにも関わらず、ホテルの方の誘導はなく、状況が全く分からず不安で眠れなかった。チェックアウトの際には何も説明がなかった。自分たちで非常階段から外へ避難し、自分たちで判断して部屋に戻った印象。 立地もよく、朝ごはんも美味しく、とても楽しみにしていたので残念でした。
- Kristine (2/5): Bed bugs galore! Stay away for your safety - Hotel had a central location. Super close to Umeda station and lots of places to eat and shop around the area. Kind staff. BED BUGS. This hotel had bed bugs and it ruined my entire experience in Osaka, which is massively disappointing since it's such a lovely area. The rooms were also dirty and the carpets were sticky! Looking back, I'm not surprised I found some, but it truly was a pain trying to deal with them when traveling/going back home. I genuinely regret not asking for a refund or compensation of some kind; I was so overwhelmed with stress that I didn't bother asking the front desk to see if we could be financially compensated for the turmoil this put us through. Bed bugs are genuinely no joke and having one in your home is a financial, mental, and physical nightmare. The staff was pleasant and allowed us to switch rooms, but I have regrets about staying at this hotel. I would never come back due to the lack of cleanliness and infestation. To clarify, I am very certain we did not carry the bed bugs ourselves; we found them in the hotel when it wasn't an issue at our previous stays during our visit in Japan.
