Guest Reviews
- James (10/5): - Top floor was quiet, easy to walk to the pool &nearby beach. Staff was very helpful after initial language barrier. Easy to take a cab or ride to plazas and beaches. Older building but clean and accessible. Not sure if there is an elevator. Store that sells water and convenience store nearby. AC and hot water worked fine. Not loud with dogs or traffic. Not all-inclusive but good if you can take care of your own needs.
- George (6/5): - Staff was friendly hotel is not a resort more like a hostel, it’s a good place if you don’t plan on staying on the property, more like just a place to sleep and wash up and explore the city, not much of a variety of food the chilaquiles are good and they’ll be served every morning, don’t forget to ride the Tren Maya if you want to explore the country side very easy.
- Amiluz (4/5): - We booked the AI, thinking we can relax in the hotel.
But they have very slow wifi, should be fine if you can just sit outside there's an ocean view but it smells so bad.
Food is average, limited option, and the dining is located by the beach and smells really bad, not sure because of sargasso or coz it's near a loading dock. There are birds ready to snatch your food.
Room is outdated.
The staffs are welcoming and nice though, the only complement I can give to this hotel.
- Gabrielle (10/5): - Was an amazing experience with lovely staff.
- Melanie (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay, it was worn but clean.
At one point they ran out of certain drinks.
It was hard to get water, they had it you had to ask for it. It should be readily available in a water cooler.
The servers were nice and 2 were amazing Israel being one of them.
My son is in a wheelchair and they gave us adjacent ground floor rooms which was great. The servers helped him down the step.
The towels were great.
The gift shop was lovely.
The Sea you couldn't swim in and the smell was like sewage depending on the wind.
We would stay here again.
- Melanie (4/5): - Staff very kind, good location. Not a lot of parking spots but the staff always managed to find spots to park. Not a real beach, many boats are leaving in front of the place, can’t swim there. The place needs a lot of updates (room, pool, bathroom), we were very disgusted by the birds that would fly in the buffet breakfast in the morning. It seems like a commun thing as no one cares anymore. We will not go there again.
- JUAN (6/5): - They should variate the menu
- Yamileth (6/5): - It was p
- Norman Ray (2/5): - Still waiting on a response from Hilda or the management about a refund for my shakedown money
- Luciana (4/5): - The photos is very misleading. The hotel beach is a port and you can’t swim. The water is dirty and is not a true beach. The room has two cockroach and it was very humid. The food choice was very limited… not worth it.
- Mayra (2/5): - The food was horrible, the front desk staff very unfriendly.
- Raphael (6/5): - It older than the picture look and it happen to be sea weed season when i went so acces to the beach was limited. The room are old but clean, the staff are nice but verry limited to speak english. The hotel has zero sound proofing so expect it to be loud in very early till late at night. The dinning option in very limited i would not recomend the all inclusive option. Very good budget hotel perfect to save money so you can invest on going on adventure to explore Mexico
- ianwinterbottomiw (10/5): Very happy customers - We went for a second visit to Mexico for a break from life, this time we booked this hotel and it being 3* were not expecting much. All we require is a clean room and a comfy bed which we got. The staff were fantastic and even though we had to change rooms it was great as we got a ground floor room 503 by the way which was brilliant as my wife is on crutches and therefore the room opening directly out to the pool was a bonus. Transport from this hotel either by bus or Taxi is great and very cheap. Hilda in the restaurant was brilliant and my wife was always chatting with her. We made a couple of good friends whilst there who were from El Paso and we are hopefully meeting up in March next year. This place is exactly what is says, clean friendly and well positioned. If you want 5* then pay over the odds . As for My wife and I we will be back.
- J801VSandyd (10/5): Great little place - Great base of a hotel. Perfect for traveling and activities off site! Cheap enough to get you to cancun (£840) with return flights/transfers and AI. If you are looking for a resort style hotel with multiple restaurants etc you will not be happy. I think that's where the negative reviews have came from (people not doing their research). Ican highly recommend the isla mujeres trip and the atv experience. There is two shops on site.
- Gurnam (10/5): - Good all inclusive brakefast, lunch, dinner .beach view room
- Jose Antonio (8/5): - Good
- Gurnam (10/5): - Good area safe and free buffet service
- Syed (8/5): An old but decent facility - Great location , nice and professional staff but communication was difficult due to language barrier at registration and check out. Not much of food choices in food for vegetarians or No meat lovers.
- Margaro (10/5): - Staff were rude with out solutions.
- Keith (4/5): - ⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing Experience – Would Not Return
I recently stayed at this hotel during my trip to Cancun and, unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. While the photos looked nice online, the reality was different.
The biggest issue was cleanliness — both the food and drinks were not very good. Some items didn’t taste fresh, and I was concerned about the overall hygiene, especially at the buffet and drink stations.
Another major letdown was the lack of direct beach access. One of the reasons I booked this place was for the beachfront location, but to my surprise, there was no easy or private way to access the beach from the property.
Overall, the hotel left a lot to be desired. With so many great options in Cancun, I’d recommend looking elsewhere for a better experience, especially if cleanliness and beach access are priorities.
- ALFRED (10/5): - Nice place
- Tara (4/5): - The only reason I did not rate it horrible was because the staff that worked there was overall amazing. But I did end up in the hospital over the food, the quality was very bad. I live in Mexico and am not picky, but my entire party of three was sick. Tomatoes had mold, bread was hard and was not changed throughout the day. What was put out is what it put out for that time of day. The other issue we had was, we told the front desk we had to go to the airport at 3/4am for the other person in our party. We are traveling with a toddler that does not sleep well, at 8:15am the cleaning staff pounded on our door, and I said "No thank you" as we just traveled across country and then went to the airport super early. She pounded over and over again, ONLY to ask if we needed our floors clean and what time we were checking out. I brought it to the front desk attention and they said it was a mistake they thought we were checking out that day. However, even if that is the case, checkout was not until noon and the cleaning lady absolutely knew we had a toddler with us and said she saw on the cameras that we did not get back until 5am. I just don't understand how you can charge so much for a resort for a night to be treated the way we were. The rooms were clean, beach in front is not very swimable, but the small private pool we had Infront was clean and an amazing part of it. If you visit absolutely do not eat here.
- Vacationer674209 (8/5): Great stay - I visited with my children. I do believe they’re in the process of improving the hotel, we booked a room and was disappointed however after expressing my concerns with staff, they quickly changed our room. He listened to our concerns and made me feel a lot better. The bar and wait staff were very attentive. In particular, Carlos on the bar was always so lovely and patient with me and my daughters. There was one particular waiter, an older man who honestly, I think was absolutely amazing. He never stops! He’s constantly making sure everyone is okay, seeing if anyone needs a drink, the women were quite relaxed and a lot of the time chatting to each other whilst this man (I wish I got his name) attended every table. He deserves so much recognition.
The man on reception (I believe maybe a manager) was so kind and helpful, took the time to talk to us and even teach my girls some Spanish.
It isn’t the fanciest place and food isn’t suitable for kids, however you get what you pay for. Our holiday was amazing and so memorable mainly because of the people there.
The hotel has 24/7 security which was great as a single mum travelling, made me feel a lot safer.
We will definitely return! Thank you!
- glorialZ4951UK (10/5): Had a great time - The staff is incredible and helpful
Location was excellent..you can take the bus anywhere you want to go we had a great time😊for the price was fantastic..easy to bus or Uber downtown and security is awesome we met great friends ..pool is great..very friendly staff .will go back for sure
- Berly (10/5): - Everything was great!
- William T (10/5): - I had a great time during my stay and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to other people plus reasonable rates
- Tami (2/5): - Would never stay there again
- Vladislav (2/5): - NR
- DAVID (8/5): - Es un hotel que cumple on lo nesesario para sopesarse no es lujo es económico pero es confortable lo único q es muy lento el Wi-FI y en mi casa que estuve por causa laboral si es algo que nesecito mucho
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok but could be better. - The property has potential and is cozy yet with spacious room....it just looks like it hasn't been updated in 40 years.
They should add in the advert that there is no lift to the property and answer questions on the platform in a timely manner. I would have meant I could choose another hotel if I so wished.
The beach area of the hotel was in front of the port so busy at time and only a thin strip of sand.
Food was always cold and drinks very sugary.
The restaurant staff were polite as expected.
- Kelly (4/5): - The bar and resturant staff were pleasant and attentive to all guest. The security staff is all about passing on no smoking property however I've never seen so many cigarette butts on the ground. The beach areas are riddled with trash, broken glass and rusted metal shrapnal. I do not recomend getting into the water at the public beach next door either. The room wasnt what type I booked and paid $47.00 for a single king. I was placed in an adjoining 2Queen room with a broken lock on the adjoining door. Didnt really bother me much till night 2 and the exstreamly loud occupants of that room were slamming and banging on that door. I went to request to be moved and there was no front desk staff at this hour so I confronted the unit next to me and things settled down. I did find it odd that my unit door was the only one without a peep hole in my front door. Although this unit was not ideal I did enjoy the view center room pool view, ocean view, sunrise. I was not upset about that so I made due and didnt try a 2nd time to move rooms. My shower had hot water and you could see it spraying out however you had no water hitting your body. It was wierd. Black handprints all over the walls and doors. 1queen bed had dirty linens and smelled of someones perfume.2nd queen appeared to be clean and turned. Motel 6 in cancun so my expectation was low. Overal I enjoyed my time in the area. Would not recomend this property to families. Solo travel sure. 4 out of 10
- 900samanthab (4/5): Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. - Avoid.
Pictures on the hotel app and Loveholidays website are NOT a true representation of the hotel.
The dining area pictured is now Cancun Sailing check in.
We are not fussy eaters but the food is abysmal with whatever is left over from 1 meal being served for the next. Sausage soup being a perfect example
There is a shop down the road that sells fabulous made to order bagels, toasties and baguettes. Thank God.
Despite being all inclusive we couldn't even get a coffee unless it was breakfast time or late dinner as they don't serve it.
Breakfast was the same every day and if I never see scrambled egg again it will be too soon. I was literally gagging on it by day 9.
We were upgraded to a "suite" on arrival, it was spacious, mainly because of a lack of anything in it & was only functional as there were beds, a toilet & a shower. No kettle or fridge or safe available so any water we bought from the shop down the road was warm by morning.
The tiny bit of beach in front of the hotel was filthy, every night we watched the cats poo in it and also witnessed a few of the extremely drunk people that exited the boats from Cancun Sailing vomiting in it and covering it up. The 2 sunbeds at the front being where drunk people that couldn't walk properly were dumped to sober up.
Breakfast, sunbathing and dinner were all interrupted by hundreds, (approx 700) people walking past twice every single day to go on the boat trips.
You could not go in the sea even to paddle as it was full of dead sea grass which stunk and was only cleaned up twice in the 10 days we were there.
There was also what looked like sewerage floating in the water.
Accurate descriptions and pictures should be given, NOT what is pictured from how something possibly used to look like, or could look like if an effort was made.
This hotel should be less than 1 star and should be held accountable for false advertising.
The staff were friendly and they did work hard, however on the last few days one of them decided to start ignoring my partner who was then left worried as to what he'd done to upset him.
The cocktails were nice, however even though we hardly drink there was no danger of getting drunk anyway as there was hardly any alcohol in them.
The beds were made daily. Unfortunately with threadbare and tatty covers. The cleaners did do a good job though.
You will be jumped on by the tour operators in reception, we did 2 full days of tours with them and weren't disappointed at all.
We were however offered a discount if we visited another hotel to see if we wanted to upgrade or if we came back next year we could book it at a reduced cost..... SCAM ALERT! it is just to get you to part with over 100k which gets knocked down to 2.5k for a room in the hotel. Can't believe we fell for it but hey ho, lesson learned.
We purposefully didn't want to book a glitzy hotel in the busy hotel district of Cancun, but we still payed over £1800.00 each with Loveholidays.
We will not be going back. Ever.

- Myrna (8/5): - Good location
- Norman Ray (10/5): - Love staying here, always affordable, peaceful, safe
- Sergei (10/5): - All
- Sara (2/5): - Very bad
- Ahmed (2/5): - I definitely wouldn’t recommend this resort to anyone. It’s not as they describe it. Very poor customer service. They consider themselves to be beach front, but reality their beach is very dirty and poorly maintained with few boats parked on the dock in front of their resort
- Haley (2/5): - The people were somewhat friendly, but the hotel was old, rundown and not kept up. It was hard to even get toilet paper.
- Azat Flaritovich (10/5): - Great place
- harri (8/5): - Ok to stay.
- yola (6/5): - The staff was very nice and it was clean. Only one pool and one Jacuzzi, a two station buffet. The food was not good. If you like your food and you want a lot of options do not stay here otherwise it’s not a bad place.
- hazel1965 (6/5): a simple budget hotel ideal if you want a quiet stay. - Yes this is a budget hotel and very simple, Wasn't much choice of food and there were no real puddings, average breakfast, and average dinner, the snack part during the day was Chips, Burger or Hot dog and a couple of other things, it was ok for us. we were lucky as we had a corner room with a lovely sunny balcony. The room was quite big and comfy beds. there was always sunbeds available around the pool, the let down was the restaurant wasn't very big so you had to queue while waiting for people to finish, BUT the people in the restaurant and the bar were great and helpful, inclusive drinks were beer, wine and different choice of cocktails ( about20) the hotel was on the beach where you could up and down but not go into the sea as there was alot of Seaweed. beware of Crocodiles and we also saw a snake on the beach. we enjoyed our holiday and it suited our needs.
- Glauber Vilane (6/5): - The staff is amazing, but the facilities should be modernized and provide a better experience as the room smells musty and furniture is very old.
- KerriK86 (10/5): Amazing little local hotel - Stayed here Feb 2024 we wanted a small hotel experience and this delivered reception staff were more than helpful accommodated all our needs ,
Room was enormous like a whole apartment we did bag a corner room .
Cleanliness was good I had no complaints. Beds very comfortable, large tv with all the channels UK, USA
The hotel is right on the beach but that's a bit of a let down not swimmable to much seaweed not the hotels fault .
Poolside was lovely always a sunbed available.
What I liked about this hotel was it was relaxing no groups and party's all inclusive ended at 10pm wich suited us
All in all this is a great hotel for those looking for a quiet stay and it is totally value for money you get what you pay for
- Penny (10/5): - We upgraded to room with private pool. Very nice room
- Yelitze (10/5): - It was family friendly. Food options had a lot of vegetables home style Mexican food. Hours of food service excellent. Speedy service. Great dinning view. House keeping was great fresh towels fresh sheets. Clean pool. Friendly staff. Near public transportation.
- Anshuman (2/5): - The food is terrible with very limited option and it was cold all the time. They have bread without toaster. The facility is old, which was fine, considering I opted for one of the cheapest package; however, washroom door was not closing, there was too much noise, mattress felt like something was wrong. The bar has limited option with limited space - including the restaurant. Only the staff are good. Chose this place only if you need a bed to sleep.
- NIURKA MARTINEZ (2/5): Horrible experience - When we arrived at the hotel we went to check in, the girl at the reception was not at all friendly, we found that the hotel had no electricity, at 4 pm they gave us the room when we arrived there was no water in the shower we had to wait a while for the water to come on. The room doors were unpainted, the sink was clogged, the towels were of no quality whatsoever. The employees were not friendly at all. The only person who was very friendly at all times was the bartender Leonardo. The food was terrible, there was no toaster at breakfast, I really do not recommend that hotel. They did not have a smoking area if they saw you smoking outside they would call you out.
- sara (2/5): - My stay at this hotel was one of the worst I've ever had. You wouldn't believe how old the building was! We couldn't even take a shower because the water was freezing cold. The parking spaces were tiny, and the small beach was overcrowded with people waiting to take the ferry.
Don’t wast your time and money!
- MARIA (4/5): - The beach is not clean for swimming and there is a lot of people around due to tours.
- Mariya (8/5): - There is very limited parking available, with the risk that you might be hit
food could be better
you get what you pay for
- Victor (4/5): - You get what you paid for. If you just need a please to sleep and want ocean view this place works. The staff was very polite and attentive at the restaurant for breakfast, but the personal at the front desk were terrible.
- Yvonne (6/5): - Upon arrival the staff member at check in spoke so fast I could hardly understand anything said. Then you have to see another person so they can give you a towel card and entice you to book through them any tours but this person spoke so fast as well.
Slow down,
The hotel itself is in a convenient location.
Breakfast buffet, sounds great, if only there were choices..
I tried to pay for lunch/snack but the first time I went the staff had zero interest in attending. Too busy chatting amongst themselves and the bartender. At least two days later when I returned the staff seemed more attentive.
- Maria (2/5): - It is a last , last resort. The room smelled, the water was either toooo hot or cold. The restaurant was dingy. Nope... do not recommend.
- John Andrew (6/5): - Overall experience is what we expected for the price. The food was better than expected, the beach is not good, no lock box in room, terrace was small, bedding was average, limited hot water... just a very basic hotel with a limited buffet. Our package included breakfast, but you can buy lunch/dinner for about $14 US per person, including one drink. There is a GoMart nearby for basic food/drinks—only one key card per room, which was inconvenient. Drinks at bar are low quality. We felt safe. If you need an inexpensive place, try this place. Otherwise, there are many other better choices.
- Ryan (8/5): - Friendly staff. Older hotel. Good price to the area
- Gerson (10/5): - Excelente lugar para una estancia relajada a un gran precio
- martin (4/5): - Was turned off upon seeing and entering the room. The odor of sewer was terrible. I finally tracked it to the shower drain, and figure it was possibly due to not having p-traps. I remedied thay by throwing the shower mat over the drain.
The sink wouldn't drain, but they fixed it upon request, although the piping leaked after the repair.
I felt sorry for an older couple trying to check in, as there was no front end staff that spoke english. I managed as I downloaded Google Translate.
The beach was non existent although the tanning area was a decent area.
The pool was nice, and the serving staff spoke good English.
Overall all the staff were nice and hospitable.
They had a tour desk there so that was a plus.
The Hotel Zone buses were convenient.
Remember, pictures are deceiving.
Overall the activities and shopping was nice, but you needed transportation to get to the key areas in the hotel zone.
- Monica (10/5): - Nb
- Helen (6/5): - Overall it was ok
- Helen (6/5): - Close to airport and bus
Station
- Rafi (2/5): - The staff there are not friendly they give you attitudes and most importantly they do t speak English and yet they do t show respect
Well at least the ones I dealt with
- Jay (10/5): - People in general
- Arturo (2/5): - The staff is friendly but useless.
My room didn't have internet.
I called multiple times and no answer.
Then they said they will send someone but never did.
It says it has parking included but they only have 10 spots for 175 rooms. If you dont find one then you need to park 25 minutes away since there's no shuttle
- Rana (6/5): - The room we stayed needs renovation. Bed, entrance, noise level, ambience and most importantly the washroom is below average. Shower with rust and dirty roof did not go well with me. Majority of the staffs in the restaurant are very good. The cleaning staffs are very hardworking but beward of the travel desks as they sell tickets on the higher side and the vendor Dreams Tour for Chichen Itza tour must be avoided.
- Carlos (2/5): - I had a late check in, the counter employee, was rude , slow and distracted. I requested a late check out and Eusebio said yes. A few minutes later they called and said I would be charged by the minute of late check out. Internet was down, hotel is old. They're are better choices around. des
- walter (8/5): - Great central area and close to everything you need.
- Jose (2/5): Not worth the price - On 3rd floor with no elevator, no fridge, lost power multiple times. Cable and internet not reliable. Older buildings with no real beach access to enjoy. Staff not to bright. Small pool with not nothing to do onsite
- PREYA (6/5): - The staff was always courteous, pleasant, and helpful. The location is prime and close to shopping, dining, and other activities. Whilst the food is amicable there is always a variety. However, I felt it lacked the authenticity of the Mexcian cuisine. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant experience and we wholeheartedly enjoyed the company of our evening dinner crew. My advice for future travelers, please communicate ahead of time, especially if you have elderly or disabled individuals in your crew. This hotel does NOT have an elevator or escalator. So communicating ahead of time gives the property time to prepare the proper ground floor. Thanks!
- catrina (10/5): - Enjoyed our week long stay
- Louis (6/5): - Few things are very disappointing like : 1- there's absolutely no beach (about 20ft, 6 chairs) 2- the sea sight is even worst ! In front of the 6 chairs there's is the Cancun Sailing Matin (an over sea building and many boats booking the view) 3- my checkout was at noon while my leaving transport was at 16 o'clock, I was then ordered to stay in the lobby for the 4 hours with NO FOOD nor Water ...
Staff and cleanliness are both very good.
- nadia (6/5): - It was ok, staff very nice.. no elevator if you have heavy luggage. Pool looked clean, drinks not good, food was ok. There is a public beach a 2 mnts walk but the water not so clear and has a lot of seaweed... the hotel has a small beach right in front of the marina where boat tours take olace so is not really private. A lot of ppl passing by.
- Elba (8/5): - Clean and friendly staff, location good. Away from the nightclub noise, but don’t forget earplugs to block the occasional singing aficionados. Overall you get what you pay for.
- Ahmad Jamshed (2/5): - Seemed like a motel to me
- Alan (10/5): Great budget option - Older hotel right on the bay by the ferry to Isla Mujeres. Basic rooms but large and clean. The restaurant is not fancy but the food is excellent and the drinks are affordable. Fun Mexican music plays in the bar in the evening and the crowd is fun. It all quiets down by midnight. Nice pool, great staff, I had a very pleasant relaxing 2-day stay.
- Vladimir (2/5): - Bugs in the room, food was awful, very old and outdated building. Do not stay here!
- ANTONIO (6/5): - Food, playa, shower hot water and oceon view poor
- Lissette (8/5): - If you have plans and need a place to crash this would be a great option. Staff were super friendly
- Faisal (2/5): - They are misgouding the customers with all inclusive . Its not all inclusive.
No breakfast offered
No lunch
Only dinner wirh beer
- Isabelle (2/5): Good for 1 or 2 nights or if you have a car - Be aware that this hotel is like being in cuba (or worse). Let's state the positives: very clean...bar and restaurant employees are nice. First: reception: we arrived earlier than 3pm..they made us wait....for a long time and then give us the bracelets to go eat and drink. Never seen that kind of wait at reception before. Lunch: hamburgers, hot dogs and fries and a few extras (we were there for 2 nights thank God). Room was ready at 3pm. bellboy ensure we needed him for a/c and tv (the breakers were not on). Big large room. 2 double beds, 1 tiny 24 inch tiv, table with 4 charrs and a makup table. Bathroom with shower and door that hi the toilet...Very clean...but this hotel is VERY OLD. like cuban ones. Good tv channels. Pool is tiny and beach is unexistent...like 12 chairs ...they sacrificied beach to build the cancun sail...so if you are in the only restaurant you see people all day walking down to go for their catamaran excursion..then on their way back they use the outdoor bathrooms...so...no privacy at all...no beach not able to swim at all. Dinner: you have few choices in the buffet let me tell you we are not fussy but omg this is very basic...and NO desert (only one: 1st night jell-0 and second night rice puddintg). NO WINE at all. Not a real all inclusive you need to buy your own! very noisy no way we could sleep the security was not there to prevent noise at night. Breakfast is basic...all is basic. Bar from 11am to 10h30 pm. no entertainment nothing at all.
- carolyngF9025EB (8/5): Really enjoyed the Cancún experience by staying and eating here. - Staff was very attentive and helpful. We got along fine with just our English and American dollars. Food was plentiful and plenty of choices. Scene was very pretty. The room was kept clean. We had a problem with some lights flickering and getting hot water and the maintenance fixed it right away.
- Nathan R.D (8/5): - If you want to go to Cancun, be somewhere that is design and put together for Mexican tourism feel part of the Mexican resort culture, be surrounded by the wonderfulness of its people and experience a little bit more of the culture you may enjoy the Imperial. do not come here if you’re expecting a four or five star American Cancun resort experience. You don’t go to McDonald’s and pay a value menu price expecting to get the best ribeye steak you ever had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was a great new experience. The location is perfect. If you enjoy getting out and exploring the area around you, you can jump on a bus for 12 pesos and it’ll take you just about anywhere you want to go and Cancun. You’re within 15 min walking distance of the ferry that will take you over to Isla Mujeres . You’re also within walking distance of Las Perlas Mall and youre 200 yards from the public beach. If you’re interested in taking catamaran party tours, snorkeling, or diving the marina that all the other hotels come to is right on your own the beach. The buffets are more of a snack buffet than what you would expect. Everything here is on a small scale.
- Gwendolyn (2/5): - 1 restaurant
- David (10/5): - Nice place and all inclusive is a great deal it is visited by mostly Mexican guest and caters in that direction. Staff was great and food was delicious.
- Vicente (8/5): - The staff was super friendly the all inclusive food was all the same buffet but you get what you pay for in overall all was good
- emanuel (10/5): - The staff was nice and always looked out for our needs
- Francine (8/5): - Loved the staff.... Antonio, Eduardo made my stay wonderful!
- Francine (8/5): - No entertainment only music in the pool area. Perhaps a live show on the beach would have been nice. Mariachi's would have made me feel I was in Mexico, yoga, work outs at the pool I suggest. Nothing for children to do just swim... The food was ok. But really no Mexican food .. no tacos, or burritos not even pica de gallo. No options for Vegans just charros or black beans and rice. The staff is amazing especially the Bartenders. The grill guy Eduardo made the best burgers and pancakes for breakfast....Drinks are watered down though.. The hotel needs a new look and if they do upgrade and keep their staff its for sure to be a 5 star property.
- Leilani (10/5): - Let me be blunt. It is old. It is in Mexico. Stop whining about it's age and the language barrier. Next "they only speak Spanish" no, they don't. The check in counter, gift shop, sissy, and a few others speak English and others pick up on key words. You need to stop expecting they cater only to you. People complained they only liked foreign people, or white people, or natives... They helped the people who were kind and those who tipped. Not much different than the states. If you side eye them and judge them before you even talk to them, expect the same, talking about you woman who was side eyeing workers and fellow guests. The "everything is broken" is also wrong. And the "no hot water" is only semi true. There is warm water that comes through old showers. "Rooms are the worst" is also false. It is obviously one much more filled but the space is great. You can enjoy the space and move about it as needed. "Beach is bad" this too is a semi true. It is still enjoyable unless you want a swim. There is a hammock in the water... Kinda interesting. The view is beautiful. "The dock ruins everything" actually I love it. Watching the boats, the smiles on people's faces, the bustle, so nice. "Food is bad" we only experienced 1 bad things, the nachos. The food is amazing. Tender meat, good veggies, pastas, so yummy burgers! Get the all inclusive! So worth it.the service is great! Sissy is the best! Say hi to get for me. Trust me she and the snack bar guy, and the lead breakfast server.
- Jenny Estella (8/5): - This is a budget friendly place to stay. I was traveling with my niece and we felt safe. The food is good enough to not go hungry, but by no means a five star restaurant. The snack bar offers drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, nachos, fries, cheeseburgers, and hotdogs. Although it is an older hotel, it was clean and we felt safe. The staff was friendly for the most part, there's always 1 or 2 that don't like their job, lol. Check in was fast and easy. There is an onsite convenience store which we did visit nightly for chips and such. There is a desk in the lobby where you can purchase tours, Minerva was very kind and knowledgeable, and we had no issues with the tours we bought. If you are going for the first time, xcaret is definitely a tour I recommend! There are so many negative reviews on this place that we almost didn't stay here, but I'm glad we did. The only REAL issue i had was the shower head, it sprays hard like a bunch of little needles on your back, lmao. There is a bus stop right across the street from the hotel that takes you to the night clubs or market 28. We were out every day, so for us, this hotel was just fine. And they do have a nice clean pool and towel service.
- Charles (10/5): - Everything was great, mostly for Spanish speaking travelers. We had a nice time.
- ovidio antonio (2/5): - Old hotel, no elevator, no amenities, super expensive, very bad service.
- Heidi (8/5): - Love that it’s so close to beach, room has no microwave or fridge. Also the catamarans leave from right in front off hotel, so always a lot of stuff going on. Wish there would have been a little more beach area to hotel and less seaweed.
I stayed at this same place a few years ago, food has gotten better. Service was good room got cleaned every day, and everyone was very friendly
- Tabitha (2/5): - The staff wasn’t friendly with African Americans. The room was dirty. The tv didn’t work the first night. The cable service was horrible. As in the show would freeze for hours. The water didn’t get hot in the shower. My stay was horrible.
- Ulises (10/5): - Nice folks
- JUDE GUIMBAOLIBOT (10/5): - The place is beautiful and quite,,i like the place
- tarynn (2/5): - The stay here was below standards. But let me start by saying is wonderful ‼️ However the hotel its self is definitely run down an need a masive make over. I had no hit water at all the whole time we stayed. I had to keep going down to let them know. When i day no hit water nothing was coming down the cold water trickled out. The beach is nonexistent they dont even bother to clean the mounds of seed weed they just let it pile up. We had to walk like 4 hotels down to use the beach. They built a dock for boats which takes up the whole beach front which they dont mention. Pictures are definitely deceiving. Check in was a mess took a whole hour to check in nobody spoke english except two people an they both was on night shift. I occurred $100 trying to use goggle translator. The fact i paid for all inclusive an they just kept recycling the food is crazy. Soda was flat if u wanted a can had to pay for it . All inclusive means just that everything food an drink. They need to remove this off expedia
- Jill Kimberly (10/5): - Hiden Gem!!
- Arturo Morales (10/5): - Looked like a villa , beautiful property. Great rooms. Great staff and service was awesome!
