• Barbara (9/5): Fine for a short stay - The studio was clean, comfortable and was fine for a short stay. The steps up to the 4th floor were not easy to negotiate especially with suitcases. Great to have an easy to operate washer/dryer but no laundry liquid was provided so we ended up having to buy a bag full of laundry capsules. Also no tea towel was provided. There were no instructions on how to get the TV to work. The entrance to this apartment is through the back of a little coffee shop. There is no reception area.

• Kerry (9/5): Loved our stay in this well appointed room in excellent location - Great location and very well designed space with air con in District 1. Clean and lovely view. Check in was self managed but very easy and communication was excellent. No elevator and room is on the 3rd floor. It didn’t bother us and we were aware before we booked but perhaps not suitable for some.

Maybe not the most central location in a private building but we weren’t disappointed . The apartment is spacious, has king size comfy bed, clean shower, kitchenette and large fridge freezer. Tastefully furnished Everything squeaky clean Be mindful, located on 3rd floor, no elevator. Communication with owner was easy and prompt Thank you 😊 Nothing here
• Jonas (8/5): Great venue for younger crowds and solo travellers - Aesthetically pleasing studio apartment. With home essentials included such as washing machine, hair dryer, kitchen utensils, clothing iron and more. Very nice location, not too far from the main streets of District 1. Staff communication via booking.com app is fast and efficient. They’ll message you if there will be a cleaner coming up and if you’ll require more clean towels. Still on renovations. For someone travelling with big luggages alone, my room was on the 4th floor which I have to carry alone as there is no staff throughout and no elevator access. It isn’t a surprise as they will inform you in advance, I am fit and can manage. Lastly, just the air-conditioner isn’t cooling too well, i went during summer time in August and it is boiling hot, although you also have access with extra fans.

• Charlotte (10/5): A beautiful, clean, and homely apartment. - We loved this property so much. We stayed here for a week and it felt extremely cosy and homely. The reception staff will help you with any problems very fast, they are so quick to reply. The room is amazing with brilliant features such as a washing machine, laundry detergent and a water dispenser. Although the amenities were great we had to some ideas that could make our stay even better. We could have benefited from an instruction booklet of some sort that gave clearer guidance on how to use the appliances. In addition, it would’ve been a nice touch to have a tea towel in order to dry dishes. Cleaning spray was provided although, no cloths. It would also be a nice touch if staff informed us on arrival the cleaning days as this was every 3 days. On the morning that the cleaner did come we were not expecting her, meaning she came back the next day and our room was therefore only cleaned once in 7 days. Additionally, the building itself is in located within an office complex. Therefore during the day it is filled with the workers in the main reception. On the photos it looks like a cafe however it isn’t, so this may need to be updated. Although this didn’t bother us, it may not be ideal for all guests. These are just some ideas that could improve our stay, although it was extremely impressive and we would 100% love to come back one day.

• Honor (8/5): Very good - Apartment has everything you need for a few days in the city. Big smart TV, lots of kitchen utensils and very spacious. Nice balcony too over looking the river. Great pho spot next door. A little far from the centre, it was too hot to walk when we were there so we just got grabs which were very affordable.
• Valeria (9/5): Comfortable and stylish apartment in an ok location. - Very cool and stylish apartment. Looks exactly like the pictures. Good WiFi (when it was working). Water dispenser is very convenient. Good shower pressure and washing machine worked fine. Good view of the river and quite quiet. Staff were helpful and provided tiger balm when I wasn’t well. Bed was comfortable and there were loads of nice touches around the room that made it a nice stay. Lots of steps to the top floor. Good for getting your steps in. Not ideal when running down to pick up Grab food deliveries. The internet went completely down at one point from around 8pm at night to the next morning. They called out a company to repair it and it fixed by 10am the next day. Annoying but it was promptly fixed and seemed like a one-off. Although the area is quiet it’s not close enough to anything without needing a Grab taxi. The river isn’t very walkable.

• Fumio (10/5): Awsome - This was my second stay and it was a great apartment. Best of all, the location is great, with lots of restaurants and coffee shops around. And yet I don't hear any noise. Also, the canal is right in front of you, and the view from the large windows is open. The staff are very kind. There is a man security guard 24 hours a day, so safety is perfect. I would like to stay at this apartment again next time. Nothing

• Huy (9/5): Great little stay here. Pictures as described. On - Nice studio apartment that was spacious and had everything that you need. It was on the top floor of the building so there were 4 floors of stairs to climb.
• Darren (10/5): Artfully appealing with plenty of space for the creative mind - Very spacious and aesthetically appealing, perfectly suited to my travelling designer lifestyle. The views of the river and greenery created a sense of calm and the high ceilings added to the sense of space. Only thing I didn’t like was that there no washing powder provided to use with the washing machine in the apartment.

• Fumio (10/5): Owsome apartment in District 1, Saigon! - I stayed at Pepper House for about a week, and it was definitely the right choice. The interior of the place was spacious enough, and I could comfortably stay there. I also loved the stylish furniture and interior decor. The balcony had an expansive view, overlooking the canal. There is a male staff member who is available 24hours on the ground floor of the apartment.which ensures that no unauthorized individuals enter from the outside. He only speaks Vietnamese, but communication can be done using a translation app. Additionally, there are English-speaking staff who are available for assistance via SMS on your smartphone. During my stay, I had my room cleaned and the bed made twice. The building is situated along the canal, in a charming area. There are many delicious Vietnamese restaurants and cafes in the vicinity, so you won't have any trouble finding good food. I'm looking forward to booking Pepper House again next time. The shower drain being clogged and water pooling on the floor is a common occurrence in Vietnam, so I didn't pay it much mind.
