- Joan (10/5): Top location for city stay - Great location to reach all areas of the CBD including the Opera House and The Rocks. The room was spacious and the bed comfy with quality linen. Shower pressure was great as were Antipodes body products. All in all an ideal place to stay in the city.

- Granger (8/5): Great place to stay, given the location - We found the Amora to be perfectly located for accessing Sydney's main water attractions, both the Rocks/Quay and Kings Wharf. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are always pleasant and helpful. The bar on level 1 was not open when we returned from dinner on Saturday night so we could not get a drink. the other bar was closed for a private function. The food options for room service were limited and very expensive if you just wanted something light.

Upon entering the room was so delighted to receive an upgrade, which included a balcony. Had never had a balcony room before and it was super! Still very quiet as the sliding door was double glazed. Fabulous room and facilities. Nothing

Our room was large,spacious and very comfortable for a two night stay with a deep bath as well as a shower. Views from room were lovely. Even though works were going on nearby could not hear any noise at all from construction sites. Close to Barangaroo, The Rocks, Circular quay and QVB. Loved Brooksy’s bar so much for happy hour cocktails and canapés we went back the following night for pre dinner drinks too! Will definitely stay again next time we are in Sydney. There was nothing not to like at this hotel. We were very happy with all of the amenities and the staff were super interactive and very pleasant too which was lovely.

- Tressa (10/5): Perfect! We arrived a lot earlier than we thought, staff offered an upgrade to facilitate us, and the room blew us away. - Beautiful! Amazing!. Staff on the doors who were absolutely amazing and very welcoming. The bar with live music was hired out for private function, and no alternative music offered, would have loved to sit and listen to live music and enjoy the motel’s facilities.

- Sophie (8/5): A very comfortable place to stay in a great location in the Sydney CBD. - The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I had made two separate bookings, one for work and one personal, but the same room type was not available for both bookings. On arrival, the staff organised for me to be upgraded so I could stay in the same room for my entire stay. The room was extremely comfortable with a beautiful view and very quiet. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've stayed in in a hotel recently and unlike many hotels, there were excellent blockout blinds and very few lights in the room at night. Car parking was easy and a bonus was the Tesla chargers in the carpark. Breakfast had an excellent selection and the staff in the restaurant were very helpful. The room was quite tired. The bathroom looked very old with discoloured tiles and grouting, cracks in the sink and marks on the shower floor. There was a control on the bathroom wall for a TV but no TV - it looked like something from the 90s. The cabinetry in the room was very chipped and scratched. None of this would stop me from staying there again but the room didn't feel like the 5 stars as advertised.
