I love the location because it's right across the street from a shopping center that has a grocery store, restaurants and Burlingtons. They offer free breakfast, free airport shuttle and a shuttle to the Port of Miami for a small fee. Five Stars Definitely..

Premier point j’ai demandé un lit bébé durant ma réservation booking, j’arrive sur place je le spécifie à la réception et nous partons dîner avec mon mari à 20h30 à notre retour le lit n’est toujours pas en chambre. J’appelle la reception qui fait envoyer un lit qui arrive rapidement mais au moment de le monter on se rends compte qu’il est cassé. On demande un deuxième lit qui lui aussi avait un soucis on a fini pas réussir à le faire tenir après 15mn d’essais. Durant le séjour mon fils et moi même nous nous sommes coupés sur la moquette dans notre appartement. Comme si nous avions marché sur des petits bouts de verres. L’appartement quant à lui n’avait même pas de planche à découper et très peu d’ustensiles de cuisine. Le matin mon fils a été réveillé par un monsieur qui nettoyait les vitres. Je ne parle même pas de l’odeur de drogue dans notre couloir d’appartement super pour un enfant de deux ans. La piscine était froide et le jacuzzi beaucoup trop chaud. La seule chose qui sauve les meubles sont les employés qui eux sont top le reste c’est à fuir

That i booked months in advance for a good price and when I showed up I was told y'all double booked and no longer had my room and tried to charge me double what I paid for the room initially which was a huge inconvenience after flying all day to get there.

- gregjI4819GQ (4/5): Disappointed top to bottom. - The transportation situation was a genuine headache. The hotel shuttle only runs to the airport once an hour, and nobody tells you this in advance, so I ended up scrambling for a last-minute taxi. Don’t count on them to get you where you need to go. The fitness center was similarly disappointing: the Peloton had no working programming, the treadmill was out of order, and the weights selection was pretty sparse. The room itself wasn’t in great shape either. Tattered curtains, no lock on the bathroom door, and the pool towels were almost comically small (barely enough to cover your chest). It all added up to a stay that felt a little neglected. Breakfast was genuinely good, though, so there’s that.

- 468mannyg (2/5): HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - I stayed here this passed Monday and Tuesday for a business trip there were 2 men that I met at the front desk 1 was named GUSTAVO and the other was named JOSE, I was first greeted by Gustavo he seemed nice very polite he was on the phone trying to get someone to get my luggage for me in the meantime while I was waiting I looked over and met JOSE I had asked him about the amenities and what he recommended in the area for a place to eat just to have small talk to pass time while I waited this man said there's a Burger King near by I asked for recommendations not a quick bite at a fast food restaurant what a lazy response I don't know how he was even a supervisor he had so much attitude and his body language was so un enthusiastic you can cut the tension with a knife I was so bothered with his character I just ignored him and started talking to Gustavo he made my visit a bit more pleasing

There are secure parking spaces directly at the hotel, and the parking fee is reasonable. Unfortunately, the rooms are not well soundproofed. We had a room near the elevator and could hear every single person coming and going. I also found the price for one night a bit too high.

- ronajona (10/5): Convenient and Comfortable Pre-Cruise Stay - The hotel was a great choice for our pre-cruise stay. We were looking for a place with strong reviews, comfortable rooms, and convenient access to pre-cruise shopping and dining. This location checked all the boxes. A big bonus was the complimentary full breakfast, the free airport shuttle, and the shuttle service to the cruise port (for a fee), which made travel logistics very easy. After researching and watching several YouTube reviews, we actually canceled another hotel reservation to book the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton, and we’re glad we did. The staff consistently provided friendly service throughout our stay—special thanks to Jessica, Edis, Jose, and Jahely, who made every interaction welcoming and pleasant. There were a few minor maintenance issues worth noting. The hallway on the eighth floor had a slightly musty smell the first night, though we didn’t notice it during the following two days. The shower space was a bit tight and I occasionally bumped the safety bars. In our room, the shower head seemed older and water leaked from the bottom onto the floor, and the toilet always needed a second flush. That said, the room itself was very nice and spacious, with a view overlooking the parking lot along with a view of the lagoon, nearby shopping center and Miami Airport in the distance. The room felt a bit dated with some normal wear and tear, but none of those things took away from our comfort or enjoyment. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and plan to return. We would recommend this hotel for anyone needing a convenient and comfortable pre-cruise location.

Shuttle service from Miami airport is easy. On cruise day for a small fee, there is a third party vendor who provides shuttle service to cruise terminals. Walking distance to drug and grocery stores, Burlington for any items you forgot and restaurants. Clean and spacious rooms. Will always be my first choice b4 cruising.
- Kaycin (10/5): Nervous but impressed - My family stayed at the Blue Lagoon location for the night before our cruise. We had never been to Miami and was a little nervous, but was very impressed after we arrived. Hotel was very nice, rooms were clean and breakfast was good. Although you are charged an additional parking fee if you have your own car to park in their parking garage, which was worth it to me. It took us about 25-30 minutes to get to the Miami Port on a Saturday morning thru the tunnel with no construction work being done that day.

- TTNow251 (10/5): Great hotel for pre cruise stay - I am a solo clean freak. I had a king room facing the airport. This place is super clean and quiet. The bathroom was very clean. The bed is firm, but a very comfortable firm. The sheets are clean, crisp cotton. The staff is kind and wonderful. If you get Jessica at the front desk you won the prize. She was amazing in every way. This place is great if you are joining a cruise or need to stay for a few days. Here is something to be aware of……the airport shuttle only runs once an hour at the top of the hour. Period! My flight was delayed five hours and arrived at 10:15pm. I had to wait a for almost an hour even though the hotel is 7 minutes away. Not sure why they only run one an hour. I saw every other hotel shuttle at least three times. Uber is not cheap. At the time I was there it was coming in at $50+ for the short ride. Be very aware of this. I would totally stay here again. Breakfast is standard Hampton breakfast.

- MDR718 (10/5): Hampton for the Win - It starts with a phone call i made & the agent handled it with such ease & professionalism. I’m DM & they were kind enough to offer a complimentary room upgrade. That carried on during my check-in, any time I had a question and even through their text chat. The hotel is very close to the airport. They offer free airport shuttle pick up and drop off service during certain hours of the day. There is ample parking. It’s centrally located near several gas stations, eateries and supermarkets. They offer a breakfast buffet in the morning. It is extremely well maintained, the rooms are very accommodating and comfortable. Shout out to the staff I had the great pleasure of being assisted by Jose, Giovanni at front desk along with Jahely & Jessica. Also to the housekeeping staff appreciate you all. I won’t lie. I was definitely concerned about staying near an airport hotel location, but all of those concerns fell away and I will definitely be recommending and staying here on all future trips. Also, they do offer Shutle service to the port of Miami. There is a fee per person, and that is also a great perk to have and to consider for your next stay!!

Me sentí muy a gusto y lo tomaré como mi primera opción para volver. - Me gustó muchísimo su ubicación muy cerca al aeropuerto y muy conveniente por su cercanía al supermercado Publix, MacDonads, Burger King y Pollo Tropical. Muy buen desayuno buffet en un comedor muy agradable. Habitación amplia y muy confortable. Su servicio de transporte gratuito al aeropuerto es muy útil para poder tomar el Metrorail y conocer la ciudad de Miami. También está muy cerca a paraderos de bus. Las cajillas de seguridad son un poquito incómodas por su posición vertical.

- SASA13 (10/5): Great customer service. - Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon never dissapoints. We stay here several times a year, pre and post cruise. Clean rooms, great pool, great breakfast, and the best front desk staff. Shout out to Giovanni. He always makes sure we have everything we need, he is so helpful making our shuttle reservations, and he is a wealth of knowledge about anything Miami. Tonight he helped us with transportation to the train station. Giovanni is the reason we come back time and time again.

The experience, from transport pickup at the Miami airport (Jorge gave a great tour on the way to the hotel) to the greeting we received by Giovanni at the front desk to the cleanliness and comfort of the room to the breakfast the next morning was great.
- angelakA8433CK (10/5): Hampton goes above and beyond - We flew into Miami for a cruise and stayed at the Hampton. The rooms were clean but average. However, what stood out was the AMAZING staff!! From the time we checked in until we checked out everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Giovanni from the front desk even texted to make sure we were good. Also, the breakfast buffet was nice and had an assortment of continental items. My husband doesn’t eat ham so between Nora, Karelia & Yaima, he had his special order of eggs that were absolutely delicious. We picked this hotel because it was close to the airport and close to the cruise port and it turned out to be a wonderful choice.
- Ivana (7/5): - Na dobrém místě, kousek od letiště, káva a čaj na recepci zdarma, naproti velký supermarket, lékárna 24h. Přespal jsme jen jednu noc mezi příletem a odjezdem pryč z Miami, delší dobu bych v tomto hotelu nebydlela, má ideální polohu pro další cestu. Hotel nemá aktualizované pokyny pro shuttle bus, takže jsme po letišti běhali tam a zpět, protože na místě, které poslali písemně v mailu, bus nestaví. Takže nám jeden ujel a na další jsme čekali více než hodinu, zatímco autobusy ostatních hotelů se za tu dobu protočily 3-4x. Do hotelu jsem volala 5x, kde je autobus, ale nikdo mi neřekl, že jezdí je jednu za hodinu, v pokynech byla "na zavolání".

- michellesT3160AO (10/5): Nice place for pre-cruise stay. - Nice place with a friendly staff. The location is perfect for a pre-cruise stay. There are several restaurants nearby. There is also a supermarket, a drug store and a liquor store across athe street. The beds are are comfy and rhe breakfast is nice. You can book a shuttle to the ship for a reasonable price.

Two pharmacies, restaurants, supermarket walking distance. Front desk staff, especially Gio welcoming and helpful. Juan the shuttle driver was very informative and welcoming. Great place to stay. Highly recommend.

Edis and Jose (Front Desk Supervisor) made a wonderful first impression from the moment we checked in. They welcomed us with warm smiles and genuine kindness, immediately making us feel valued and at home. They thoughtfully asked if we would be taking a cruise from the port and kindly assisted us with completing the registration in advance, which made our plans so much easier and stress-free. Their proactive and caring approach really stood out. We were also very impressed by the exceptional service from the breakfast team — Nora, Karelia, Berclia, and Yaima. In the check out morning, they worked tirelessly to keep the area spotless, consistently cleaning the counters and ensuring everything was organized and inviting. Their attentiveness and dedication created a comfortable and pleasant dining experience for all guests. Overall, this may be a 3-star hotel, but the service we received was truly 6-star. We sincerely appreciate the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable.
