Twettiseek (8/5): Clean, quiet room, friendly staff, below average breakfast - Liked • The room was clean and very quiet and the beds comfortable, not too hard. The staff was accommodating and helpful. The location was great, walkable to most sights and the city center. It was a very pleasant stay overall. Disliked • Breakfast was the same every day (only the pastries changed) and didn't have enough variety. For example, there was no fish, hummus, salads, dips, pancakes, boiled eggs, fried eggs, or any fried potatoes or hash browns on the buffet. The fruit was unripe/hard every day (melon and kiwis). The coffee machine on the right side delivers only lukewarm coffee. I mentioned it every day, but nothing was done about it. The room was exceptionally small for 2 people, about 16 sqm. We received a partial refund as they didn't have the room category we had booked.
ALFreundl (10/5): Will be back! - Perfect place to base out of for a visit to Vienna! Very close to museums, great small boutique shopping and interesting, independently owned cafes. Easy to use Ubahn station very close by that can take you anywhere in the City. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! Our room was large and simply furnished, perfect for what we were looking for. Breakfast was very well stocked with plenty of wait staff to help navigate the buffet. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice place to stay that is off the beaten path.

The hotel is located at an alley, a bit dark street with either a bar or a hotel bar across with loud youngsters partying, at least on the weekend. No water in the room and the room looked depressing. Kind of a high end room from a communist era.
Calum (10/5): - Great buffet breakfast. Our room was very spacious and clean. Small fitness area and sauna available to use for duration of stay. Staff were also very welcoming and friendly. Would stay here again if ever in the area.
Colleen Rose (10/5): - This property is all about the location. It is situated just behind the museum quarter and has lots of bars and restaurants around. It’s spectacular around Christmas time with all the lovely markets. The hotel is very quiet with lots of lovely staff around willing to help. The rooms are quite spacious with lovely clean bathrooms. I’ve stayed here three times and will continue to do so.
essexbornandbred (10/5): Ideally placed for sightseeing and the Christmas markets - Location is ideal , if you want to get the train from the airport it’s very simple and so cheap if you use the local train rather than the specific airport tourist train. The underground is approx 5 mins walk from the hotel . Reception check in was fast and efficient and an extra bonus that our room was ready when we arrived a couple of hours earlier than the official check in time . Luggage storage is available if not though, which we used on the last day . Room was equipped with everything we needed , it was warm , but after cold days out it was welcome. Small fridge was stocked with some soft drinks on the first day . The room also had a small dressing room alcove which was very cute . Free safe , always handy . I understand there is a scheme whereby you can go without room service for two days and have a free drink instead , but we didn’t take advantage of the offer . I did have an outstanding query regarding the room tariff, and the receptionist checked it out with the manager and sorted it to our satisfaction which was much appreciated. Staff at breakfast were all very friendly, and there was a good selection of food , constantly topped up . All areas of the hotel we saw were clean and well maintained. Perfect location for many of the Christmas markets , the museum quarter and City Centre .

Location superb with ez walk to Museum Quarter and Hofburg Palace and metro line and hop on hop off bus etc. Bar and small cafe in lobby convenient too! Brkfst, soup, sandwiches. galahad24 (8/5): Accessible to place of interest - The hotel is within the vicinity of most of the place of interest ,such as museum quarter just the back . Also it is accessible to public transport. Cleanliness is paramount everyday they replenish towels and cleaning the room .Staffs in the restaurant specially working on the breakfast are nice, friendly and helpful . The only negative that I noticed was the receptionist. Usually receptionist should be welcoming and approachable but here not at all, even when you asked for info just gave you limited.

Verified traveler (6/5): Its ok but they need to focus on the details more. - Room was large and clean but it was always too warm and the heating wasn't on. There are only 2 power outlets which is frustrating when traveling with multiple devices that need to be charged. I think this is the first hotel I've stayed in that didn't provide hand lotion. The bed was comfortable but the shower is horrible. The ceiling is low for tall people which requires some maneuvering which is less than ideal. Tried to have a relaxing drink at the bar but i couldn't because the elevator is right beside it and loud and obnoxious guests were hanging out in front of it. I wouldn't stay here again.
Madison (8/5): - The location of this property was very convenient for local shopping, dining, and bars. So many hidden gems in the area. It was also very close to public transportation and the museums. The air in the room was unfortunately dry and the curtains, walls, and floors all had minor stains/scuffs on them. My partner and I both always woke up with running noses and/or sore throats but immediately felt better upon getting fresh air. Otherwise, we had a lovely stay. I appreciated the friendly and accommodating staff, tubs in the bathroom, office center w/ printer and option for dining.

leewG5926ZK (6/5): Budget Hotel - Hotel is dated, more of a budget hotel than a 4-star property. While location in Museum Quarter is walking distance to most places of interest and spacious room (by European standards!), hotel offers few amenities and does not match the features described on its website. There are no luggage ramps at entry (quite a few steps to haul suitcase to reception desk), old carpeting in room, thin towels (not fluffy as per website), no face cloths, no minibar or complimentary daily bottle of water (as stated on website), and limited toiletries. Stuffy room with inoperable air conditioning - we were told that AC turned off in all of Vienna as of Sept. 1st (city law!), only option was to sleep with the window open which had no screen to prevent bugs from entering the room. While staff was responsive to requests, it became a bit tiresome to ask for a 2nd room key, extra towels etc. Overall an okay 3-night stay but not worth the price paid.

Haven't stayed ( obviously) and dont recommend anyone books since you might be bumped out with little notice and no reason. Shocking lack of customer care. Dont waste your time expecting to stay here
Milton25 (8/5): Very convenient, clean and comfortable. - We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The hotel is comfortable, clean and welcoming, and we felt well looked after. In an expensive city this was good value for money. We didn’t eat at the hotel at all, choosing instead to have breakfast on the go, so haven’t given it a 5th star because I can’t comment on the food. The bar was a pleasant space to have a drink at the end of the day, and Christoph, the barman, was an excellent host. The room was as expected. The location suited us very well. Not far from the city centre, and in an interesting part of town it is a short walk to a tram stop and about a 15 minute stroll to the city centre. Recommended!

However, the location of the hotel is amazing. You have easy access to everything such as circular tram, MQ and lovely parks to name but a few.

The restaurant offers a breakfast buffet with an impressive variety for a reasonable price. The staff are friendly and wonderfully accommodating. The subway is a short (<5 min) walk away, with a mere 2-3 stops to the city center. The local neighborhood has a wonderfully eclectic feel, with apartments, a playground, shops, a theater, and various eateries. Nice accommodations, friendly staff, convenient transportation, and a nice neighborhood — all for reasonable prices. What more could you want? Highly recommended. :)
235finnm (10/5): Vienna Visit - A bit of a hidden gem of a location. It sits about a 5 min walk from everything you might need and a 5 minute walk from all the great sights seeing spots in Vienna. Beds and rooms were spacious comfortable. Staff was very nice and accommodating. I don’t know if this is a normal thing but there was soap or shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom.

Bo Ah (4/5): bathtub drainage issue - The attitude shown during the process of resolving the clogged bathtub was really unpleasant. The bathtub, which had never been used, was clogged, and the water wouldn't drain. I had no choice but to shower in the sauna, which didn't have a lock on the shower booth (it was unisex), making me feel very insecure. The next day, a technician came with a plunger to fix the problem, but the result was minimal. Fortunately, I was moved to another room, which was very comfortable and clean. If the staff had just considered things from the guest's perspective and expressed some regret, I wouldn't have felt so upset.

Deborah (10/5): Great for me - People were friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean. The location was great- 2 block walk to the U3 and 4 blocks to the ring and trams. Lots of places to eat, drink and shop close by. Breakfast was very good- great coffee, lots of tea choices, meats, cheeses, fresh fruits, brotchen, kuchen, eggs, sausages, fruit juice, etc. It is not pretentious and fancy. It is much better than basic lodging.

Jeremiah W (10/5): - The staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. Location is unbeatable and a little bit back from the main roads so you don't get city noise. Breakfast is varied from full English to get a roll and a little jam. If you stay for a few days and put a sign on your door you don't need cleaning, they offer to plant a tree and give you a voucher for a free glass of wine. Bar is simple but nice. One day I wanted a light lunch and got their potato soup. I'll definitely go their again and check out their other locations.
Peymon (6/5): - The location, breakfast, and service staff were all good. The front desk staff and gym were bad. The front desk staff are RUDE. The card they hand out with the key says check out is at 12 pm in English but 11 am in German. I brought it up and said, I think 12 should be honoured. They didn't like it and told me to just leave at 11. At some point during my stay I called and asked for an extra tower, the guy on the phone said 'come downstairs and get it' Ok... Gym weights are too light and it gets way too hot in there.

I have opened the window but since the windows were facing the street, it was very noisy nearly the whole night...

Victoria (10/5): - Area was super convenient. There is a bar on the corner of the block where people stand outside and seem to yell all night. The bar apparently stays open until 6AM. The hotel was lovely and clean and I can’t blame them for a local business with noisy customers. Just something to think about if you stay here. Also, I did pick this place because it had air conditioning yet once I got there they had shut it off for the winter so I had to deal with their idea of a comfortable room temp. Had to open the windows to cool the room and then the bar yelling customers were even louder. Needless to say, if you’re used to air conditioning in your hotel rooms and it’s not summertime (we stayed at the beginning of November) you are in for a disappointment with that. Overall, I loved the location, the room was very clean, staff were all pleasant and it wasn’t crazy expensive so I’d definitely stay here again.

Maria Dolores (6/5): Did not live up to our expectations - The location of the property is excellent being near U and also walking distance to many attractions. Staff generally helpful. However, the hotel rooms and corridors are in desperate need of an upgrade. We chose K&K because we had stayed a few years back at both Vienna & Budapest. The standard was much higher then so our stay this time was somewhat disappointing. Also we were there for Christmas but not much Christmas spirit was in evidence, perhaps a complimentary drink/snack would have been very welcome.

The beds were a bit too firm and small by American standards but seems typical for a European hotel. The front desk staff was not very friendly but the ladies running the breakfast buffet were extremely nice and highly efficient. Highly recommend the breakfast at the hotel, very fresh and many different kinds of food options. Also one night we had a drink at the small lobby bar and the bartender was super nice as well. My sister and I stayed three nights and overall thought it was a great hotel for leisure travelers that enjoy walking.
