- Paul (9/5): Luxury stay in total comfort - On our first visit to Osaka, we chose to stay near Osaka Castle instead of in Namba - the city centre. Viewing the castle and the castle park from the room was a special bonus. And we found the location easily accessible from JR and Metro stations. So while the other tourist districts were not in walking distance, they were still easily accessible. Breakfast was ample, with a full Japanese-style section, and a Western-style section. We ate from both; both were excellent. The New Otani doesn't have some of the latest electronic gizmos that you might find in newer hotels. Gizmos that you don't need anyway and just complicate your stay. But it does have everything you need for an excellent, luxury stay. No complaints.

It is situated in the business district and was not too busy, near several train stations for getting to other Osaka attractions. Hotel staff were friendly and I formative. We had drinks on the top floor bar with amazing views. We also used the pool, gym and spa facilities (included before 10am) which were spacious and well equipped.

The hotel location is fantastic, especially with the beautiful view overlooking Osaka Castle, which made the experience even more memorable. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of amenities provided. The beds were especially comfortable, allowing us to rest very well after long days exploring the city. What truly made this hotel exceptional was the outstanding service from the concierge team and the head of staff. We had an issue related to a previous hotel, not connected to New Otani Osaka at all, and they still went far beyond their responsibilities to help and support us. Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to assist were truly exceptional and greatly appreciated. Breakfast was good, although the breakfast room could get quite busy at peak times. Despite this, the staff remained very attentive and helpful. Including variety of choices, fruits and freshly prepared eggs and omelets. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for families too and for its location, comfort, cleanliness, and especially the outstanding level of customer service.

- Mary Ann (9/5): Overall a nice hotel with a couple of drawbacks. - The property has many positive qualities from the location, to the breakfast, the view from the room, and the incredible and helpful staff. The room we were given, although an excellent view, was not an updated room. For the extra cost for a room with a view I may have expected a refurbished room. The only other thing was eating in the restaurants outside of the breakfasts were over the top expensive.

- Monique (8/5): Service is top - Het was wennen om in een rustig gedeelte van Osaka te zitten. Achteraf was dat heerlijk. 2 metrostations op 5 min afstand bracht ons daar waar we naartoe gingen. De kamers zijn wat gedateerd.

- VALERIE (10/5): Établissement au top. - Emplacement très calme, belle promenade autour du château magnifique parc,bien situé (restaurants juste en face très varies),facile d'acces, belle vue de la chambre,très propre,chambre confortable avec petites attentions(bouteille d'eau, produits) tous les matins,petits déjeuners très bon méga buffet.Personnel attentionné et très bienveillant. Je recommande.

- Bbqduck123 (10/5): Restful start to a short holiday in Japan. - Lovely spacious rooms. We had views of the Castle and Osaka-Jo Hall. It’s located in the business district but very close to the train loop and nearby metro station. There’s the beautiful river and park surrounds. Arrived on a wet weather day, from KIX airport via train and the staff were all ready to help us get into our room to dry out. There was a very popular strawberry themed high tea hosted by the hotel and it’s a popular venue for banquets. Thank you to all the staff who were always around to help! You all work very hard and made our short stay very comfortable and enjoyable.

- Jose Luis (9/5): Good hotel. - The junior suite was excellent. The view was excellent. The service was excellent. I had booked one junior suite with castle views. Unfortunately the junior suite assigned hadn’t castle view. After my complaints, I was assigned one junior suite with castle views as booked. It was a pity to loose three hours and the need to complain to have the junior suite booked and paid.
