- Zoe (6/5): - Anna at the executive pool was excellent. The hotel wasn’t up to the usual standards I would expect of Dubai. The sheets for the bed were too small and every night they came off, the club room was the worst I have ever been to and we have been coming to Dubai for over 15years. The half board options have reduced each time we have been to the Jumeirah hotels and the chicken option in the hide for half board was so small it was ridiculous. The sofa bed in our room was grubby, one of the sinks didn’t work. This is the first time we have stayed in this hotel and would be the last. we have stayed in Al Qasr and Dar Al Masayf before and they were amazing. Maybe it’s more suited to families. The best part about the hotel was the executive pool and all the staff were amazing

Clean, great access to pool and beach and transportation to multiple beach clubs all from the hotel provided. We were on our honeymoon and we had VIP access booked, but we did not receive any of these benefits and we asked the reception for any sort of upgrades for honeymoon, we unfortunately didn’t get any room upgrades. Besides that, the overall experience was incredible and we had a great time at the hotel. Definitely recommend for anyone going there!

The facilities were among the best we have experienced, and our overall experience - from the friendly staff to the excellent restaurants and beaches - felt like an oasis. However, one area for improvement, especially for families with small children, is the lack of evening entertainment for the little ones, which was surprising given how excellent the daytime facilities were. We will definitely be returning next year!

- Hajra Mazeed (10/5): - We liked the access to Wild Wadi. We could spend a couple of hours a day there without being too far from the hotel so would not be so time consuming. Our stay at the hotel overall was lovely. We enjoyed every aspect of it. The choices at breakfast were vast, catering to everyones needs. Options were plentiful and delicious. The restaurants we tried at the hotel were brilliant. Food was of a high quality and absolutely delicious. Namely Dhow and Anchor and Kitchen Connection for evening buffet. The dine around options were brilliant, ,food was of high quality. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from and the buggy service to transport guests between hotels was seamless. The staff were always happy to help. The rooms are spacious. I recommend asking for rooms floor 10 and above. Views of the Burj Al Arab were beautiful. My only criticism of the hotel would be that the pool area could do with an update as tiles are falling off into the pool and causing skin injuries. Also the chairs in kitchen connection had lots of dirty marks or food on them, maybe they need cleaning or replacing altogether. Overall a family friendly hotel where staff are always happy to help and provide an exceptional service.

- Christopher (10/5): Great hotel, do the maths on the breakfast deals - Great hotel and we've stayed many times in the past and will do in the future. We decided to purchase the breakfast package at checkin, being told that it was a few AED cheaper than buying it at the counter. Because we booked with Hotels.com/Expedia we get a discount on food and beverages. It turns out the Hotels.com discount was higher than the "discount" offered by the receptionist but because the price was already a deal they couldn't apply the Hotels.com discount. A bit annoying given it was our 8th stay at the hotel

- Elizabeth (8/5): Lovely Hotel - Lovely impressive hotel, although tired in places. Excellent service throughout the entire stay. Room serviced daily with fresh water and a little treat, chocolate or mini Elemis product each evening at turndown. Nice restaurants and food was excellent. Huge choice for breakfast but very busy with lots of unsupervised children!! Having access included for the Wild Wadi water park was a bonus and the beach and warm sea were also lovely. Pool areas were nice but very busy, again, the pool is tired in places with missing tiles which for a 5* is a bit disappointing. Ice lollies handed out around 1300 every day which was welcome. Wonderful staff who can’t do enough for you. Rooftop bar on 24th floor is a nice touch at night if you sit outside.

- James (10/5): - As a whole myself, my wife and my two year old daughter loved staying at the Jumeirah beach. This has been one of the best quality foods I’ve been at a buffet style restaurant with themed nights (great for young children!). The restaurant options are also brilliant but we were more than happy with the buffet, as it was that high quality. The only thing I would mention is being charged for water at lunch or dinner - I’m more than happy to pay for any drink but I feel at least one complimentary bottle of still water at meals would be a good idea. Staff were always very welcoming and friendly so can’t fault any of that. We’re looking forward to coming back!
- jason (2/5): - Daughters holiday was ruined by an ear infection caused by filthy water in one of the pools. Hotel staff admitted carrying out construction work in the pool in evenings and there was visible debris and dirt in the water. Hotel staff handled it terribly, offered nothing in form of help or compensation for ruining our trip. A sad end to what was our 11th stay at this hotel. It has fallen from a friendly, inviting family hotel into a corporate machine where the personal touch they were famed for has totally vanished. We will never go back.
