It was clean and comfortable, but something seemed missing. Staff was incredible, especially Sanjay. He is what a a concierge is supposed to be. He made our stay that extra bit more. This will sound dumb, but the door to the suite didn’t open all the way. Banged on the wall every time. Understandable though. Space is limited.

I had a gorgeous view of the street which was filled with beautiful buildings, cute cafe's and bars. I was traveling with my adult daughters (we had 2 lovely rooms) and we all agreed that this was the quietest hotel we had ever been in. It almost seemed as though no else was staying at the hotel! We never heard any sounds in our rooms. Even from the street outside. The thick windows even opened up for fresh air and to take in the Paris street sounds when I wanted. The rooms were super clean with great amenities. There is always delicious Cafe Au Lait and Espresso available 24/7 in the lobby and the breakfast offered looked great though we would always grab a croissant and coffee next door at a terrific pastry shop to eat on our way through the quaint streets. I had read about the wonderful concierge, Sanjay, from previous posts before I had booked our rooms. He truly lived up to the hype! I had contacted him months before our stay and he was always so kind, helpful and very quick to reply. The recommendations he gave were terrific. From restaurants, bars and places to see. He set up our transportation to and from the airport and was just a joy to converse with. Honestly, everyone who worked there was super friendly and helpful. We will be back!! Thank you Hotel De Buci for making our first Paris trip a wonderful visit.

- laurent942 (10/5): Fantastic home base for a magical trip - My (43f) mother (69f) and I stayed at Hotel de Buci for almost a week, and we will definitely be back! You can't beat the location, and everyone at this hotel is exceedingly friendly and helpful--in particular the concierge, Sanjay of course, who other reviewers mention. He is the best concierge we have ever met in decades of traveling. The breakfast is outstanding as well. We stayed in the Signature suite and there was plenty of room for both of us. There is a bit of street noise at night, which is expected, but we brought a white noise machine so it didn't interrupt our sleep. Overall the hotel is a quiet refuge and was the perfect spot for our Parisian adventure.

- V1133LFnataliem (10/5): Wonderful must-stay boutique hotel - Nestled in the center of one of the luckiest streets in Paris is Hotel de Buci. I travel at least to write at least twice a year and call Hotel de Buci my home away from home each time. I take the junior suite to give myself space since I spend a nice portion of my day writing there. The rooms are classically French and beautiful. They are well kept and elegant. But by far the most impressive highlight of my stay is reuniting with Sanjay, Concierge extortionate, who treats every guest like they are family with the most impeccable recommendations (and the ability to book them for you!) in town. Where to go, what to see, which not-to-miss exhibit, the newest champagne bar in town, where to shop and how to get there. He is next level and there is no one quite like him in the hospitality space. They have a small, clean spa. The prices are reasonable. Just wonderful. I’ll be back for my fifth stay soon.

We absolutely loved our experience at this lovely hotel! The location is amazing - in the chic neighborhood of Saint Germain and walking distance to major sites like the Louvre, Notre Dame, and Musee d’Orsay. The rooms were clean and comfortable and very nicely decorated. Make sure to make time to enjoy the lovely spa area which you can reserve. The staff was unbelievable and really went the extra mile to make sure we had the best week in Paris. Sanjay, the concierge, is fabulous! He helped with dinner reservations and logistics and made sure to check in with us throughout our stay. I can’t recommend Hotel de Buci more highly for a lovely stay in Paris!

The concierge organized our transfer and literally were waiting for us when we got out of the car to say hello and take us to check in and whisk our bags to our room. The breakfast was good and the man who helps with the breakfast makes some special cakes and it so friendly. Sanjay was there to support our all questions and needs including helping fix a snafu where I made a dinner reservation 2 hrs later than intended. He was able to get it adjusted. He also was thoughtful when I became ill at the hotel. The concierge staff also helped answer many questions for me in the months before we arrived with pleasure. I appreciated their help for my trip. Sanjay recommended Le Calife dinner cruise and it was the best thing we did on our trip. We booked the second largest room. I loved the decoration and the details. It felt truly parisien. The windows also do a nice job keeping sound out. I didn’t get to use the spa this time but would have loved to. Location was quite convenient. The street the hotel is on is quite lively with people all nights of the week but very safe.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for us, and it met any and all expectations. It is located in a very convenient area with easy access to public transportation and is easily walkable. If you stay here, please make sure you speak with Sanjay, who is absolutely incredible. He made great recommendations on food, drinks, and things to do, and we will absolutely return to this hotel because of him.
- KK_InRealLife (10/5): A chic and comfortable stay in St. Germain - Marvelous stay for a few days in Paris with my bestie. The cutest street, easy to get to by métro, right in the middle of St Germain. Our room had nice views but was quiet even with a lively street below. Very comfortable bed and a shocking amount of storage for Paris. We had a suite as it was actually as cost-effective as two rooms; the website pictures do not do the decor justice, as they have a dusty look but it is quality fabrics, tile, millwork, and we had great tall windows with that special light even in winter. Bathrooms very light and spacious. Staff were charming and very helpful with questions and suggested restaurants. We did not use the restaurant or spa but they were appealing-looking (I didn’t really understand the guest spa access deal so if you’re interested, inquire.) 100% would stay here again.

The staff were warm, welcoming, highly professional and wonderfully responsive. The icing on the cake was the concierge service. Mr. Kaloya brings great honour to his profession and to the prestigious "Clefs d’Or" elitist league he belongs to. When asked at 5pm on February 14th to secure a table at a gourmet Japanese restaurant, he embraced the challenge with a smile and sent us an excellent proposal within thirty minutes. Our evening was simply delightful. We wholeheartedly recommend Hôtel de Buci for any couple seeking an unforgettable experience in the heart of Saint-Germain.

Thoughtful design and atmosphere make it pleasant to spend time both in the room and in the common area. Service was impeccable, and hotel stuff was always so welcoming and friendly to us, even with a nice present for my birthday. The location is perfect for gastronomy, shopping and just walking city exploration. Sauna open for private bookings was a great extra to enjoy time in the hotel even more.

The location of the hotel was in a perfect area with restaurants and shopping district all around. Public transport was on 200m from the hotel which was also fantastic. Overall, a wonderful experience and looking forward to staying at Hotel de Buci again.

Before arriving to Paris, recommendations and hard to get reservations were secured by the one and only Sanjay, a highly notable Concierge. I spent six nights there in a cozy, courtyard room. Felt like a special treat I gave myself.

We met each morning for a sweet Le petit dejuner at the Hotel and with Sanjays assistance we were off and running: museums ( do not miss the new Foundation du Carter or if you love the history of fashion: The Dior museum ) And the rebuilt Notre Dame gave me some much needed faith in humanity. Little bakeries and shops and great bistros — Hotel de Buci was a wonderful anchor for our girls trip !

- ckpcpa (10/5): We stayed two nights before our Viking River Cruise - Our stay at Hotel De Buci was great. We received excellent treatment from Sanjay & the other hotel staff. This boutique hotel is centrally located in the heart of Paris & will not disappoint. There are many local cafe's just outside the hotel entrance making the experience like you are immersing yourself in the culture. Sanjay is the hotel concierge and made several plans for our stay including Eiflel Tower, Big Bus Tour, dinner recommendations, transfers etc. He stands ready to meet your every need with a happy attitude. The friends we came with have been to this hotel 2 times within one year and plan on going back as we will as well.

Sanjay in particular was so accommodating and welcoming, even going as far as reserving popular restaurants for us. Thank you, Sanjay! The location of the hotel couldn’t have been better. Right in the heart of Saint Germain, surrounded by some of the best restaurants and shops in Paris. The room was a bit on the small side but very clean and well decorated. The sauna and spa was also easy to reserve and a lovely touch to the cosy hotel!

- Anton (7/5): Authentic experience of the historic area - The interior design was great, breakfasts were also nice, the location is top notch (15 minutes walk to Louvre and Notre-dame de Paris), the general vibe of the area was great (lots of cafes/restaurants around, historic area, authentic experience) The room had a fatal flaw: sewage stink in the bathroom. It seems like the "water lock" of the shower was dried out and allowed the sewage smell into the room. If you use the shower and fill it again the smell stops, but after an hour it comes back. We let the staff know, they promised to fix it, but the problem persisted. Paying 350+ EUR a night and suffering from the awful stink is not something that I expected. Also, beware that the traffic in that part of the city is brutal, expect car rides taking a lot of time (I almost missed my Versailles tour even though I called a taxi 1 hour in advance). Lastly the room is truly tiny (the whole building is small because of historic area).

The concierge, Sanjay, could not have been nicer or more professional -- he personalized the guests' experiences and found us just what we hoped for. The only possible downside is that the rooms, though luxurious, are small. We don't mind, but certainly some could find it disappointing.

- Sunflowers445 (10/5): Our favorite hotel and concierige in Paris - My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Hotel de Buci during our recent visit to Paris in October. It's a very quaint and welcoming hotel with nice rooms and excellent service. The location is perfect for us as we love the 6th and specifically the rue de Buci/rue Dauphine/St. Germain area. You really feel like you are in the middle of it all--because you are. Sanjay, the head concierge, was very helpful with reservations and made us feel so welcome that Hotel de Buci is now our favorite hotel in Paris. We can't wait to go back!

Every member of the staff at the hotel was so nice and accommodating. They helped us with every request and were so lovely! We loved the location of the hotel - so perfect with boutiques and restaurants in every direction. The rooms had very nice bedding and were very cozy. We had the best girls trip and we cannot wait to return!

A shining star on our girls trip was the Concierge Clef d'Or , Sanjay Kaloya - He had the best recommendations, was so insightful into places to dine and shop and even helped us with a Moulin Rouge reservation. If you plan on staying here, reach out to him prior for an itinerary at his suggestion, and I promise you won't be disappointed. 5 stars all around!

- jaygG2250XT (10/5): Love Love Love - I can't recommend the Hotel De Buci enough! The location is unsurpassed- we loved being in the center of the Saint Germain. The accommodations were lovely, the room was small but well appointed and quite comfortable. But the best part of our stay was Sanjay! He greeted us warmly, and his restaurant suggestions were spot on. If he hadn't told us that the line to get into Notre Dame seems long, but it moves quickly, we probably wouldn't have gone. So glad he mentioned it as we thoroughly enjoyed seeing the incredible renovations. Thank you Sanjay and the Hotel De Buci for a most wonderful time in Paris.

From the amazing check-in experience and the best concierge, Sanjay, for helping us book last minute tickets to some museums and churches - he’s one of the best, so friendly and helpful! The location, the boutique and quaint/homey feel, beautiful decor, the breakfast buffet, complimentary coffee all day long, the complimentary private sauna and pool reservation, everything was great! The room is very small, hardly enough room to lay out our suitcases, but we found it worth the price because of the staff and the amenities! We’ll be back soon!

My husband and I really enjoyed our recent stay--a boutique hotel whose excellent location fit our needs exactly. We loved its style, comfort, and especially its service. We cannot say enough about Sanjay, the concierge, who holds the distinction of membership in the "clefs d'or" (keys of gold) association, identified as "an elite fraternity...committed to professional development, and driven to setting new standards for guest service perfection." Seek out his guidance--he is stellar in every way. Every staff member was helpful, friendly, and professional. If you choose to add breakfast to your stay, you'll find an excellent variety of selections. Our "privilege" category room was on the street side, yet we were never disturbed by street noise. When we hopefully return to Paris from our U.S. home again, we'll definitely choose Hotel de Buci!

I have been to Paris multiple times and have never hit on the perfect neighborhood until now. The location allowed for two 70 year olds to navigate all of the best sites by walking. We were told that the neighborhood is the “soul of Paris” and I agree. The staff were all so kind and Sanjay was a delight! They were so open in sharing the beauty of Paris with my best friend who had never been outside of the country. I thanked them for such a Wonderful breakfast each morning . It was beautifully served with care. That is what makes this hotel so special the attention to detail. The evening chocolate from Angelina’s is a perfect example of how much the little things matter.
- abea123 (10/5): Downtown Paris Hotel Stay - Hotel De Buci - A wonderful, small hotel in a bustling part of downtown Paris. The bedrooms and bathrooms are small (it is downtown in a large city) but spotless and tastefully decorated. The hotel staff was excellent, helpful, and responsive to the needs of their guests, especially Sanjay, the Concierge Clef d'Or. It's an amazing location, surrounded by cafes, bakeries, restaurants, museums, and a plethora of other shops all within a short walk. Overall, a great value for such a large, popular city.

- Climber726347 (10/5): September 2025 at Hôtel De Buci - We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at the hotel. The hotel is a traditional French hotel, not part of a large chain where you cannot tell one from another. We had a wonderful experience made extra special by the excellent service provided by all at the hotel. We were recommended to the hotel by a family member who has stayed here a number of times. A number of other guests we met whilst we were there had also stayed on more than on occasion. The location is perfect with most must see and do's within a 15 - 20 minute walk, there are numerous cafés, restaurants, art shops etc in this location all just a couple of minutes from the hotel. We included breakfast in our stay, what a good decision, nothing was too much to ask for, lovely fresh food and great service. My cousin introduced us to Sanjay the Concierge before we arrived, he was unbelievably helpful, from making suggestions on where to eat to booking the best table in a restaurant, advice on travel around Paris to suggesting we pop into a photographic shop to view their exhibition as we will pass the shop on our way to another event. Sanjay's small attention to detail made our anniversary extra special. Will we stay at the hotel again, Yes I cannot recommend it enough
