• Måns (10/5): - Härligt och gammalt, fantastiska säng av den hårdare typen. Lugn gata utan störningar. Rätt lyhört till intilliggande rum.
• Annelie (4/5): Slitet hotell i bra område - Bra område! 2 min till Tunbelbana. Bra och säkert parkeringsgarage 2 min fr hotellet. Liten MC Donalds väldigt nära. Lugnt område, dock ljud från trafik. Hotellet är slitet och luktar inrökt. Smala gångar mellan rummen. Ingen aircondition, bara en fläkt på rummet. Mycket sparsam frukost men perfekta croissanter! Möttes av mindre charmig personal vid incheckning som tyvärr levde upp till ryktet om nonchalanta fransmän.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Very basic and outdated - Hotel is very outdated. Rooms are very small with a tiny narrow hallway meaning navigating with a pram and luggage was difficult. Asked the hotel for an iron and they didn't have one. Beds were made each day but very basic. Wouldn't return to this hotel.

We asked for a taxi, and after 30 minutes of waiting they informed us that it wasn't coming because there wasn't one. We missed an excursion because of this. The receptionists only speak French, not English. , not Spanish.

• Eleyvin (2/5): - The hotel was dirty, the shower didn’t work, no air conditioning, the property is falling apart. In the middle of the summer I wouldn’t go to this place, the only source of air we had was the window (very loud outside) and one little tiny fan. The sheets were so gross, the bed cover looked like it wasn’t washed in years. Just don’t go here unless you are extremely broke and this is all you can afford.

• Helena Marie (10/5): Anbefales :) - Ligger i et koselig strøk med masse restauranter og småbutikker. Ikke langt i fra T-bane stasjonen (Cadet) som tar deg til sentrum. Personell er hyggelige og prater engelsk! Bygningen er gammel og det er trangt på rommet. Men badet var nyoppusset. Kunne ikke vært mer fornøyd.

Der kom næsten ingen vand ud af bruseren og aflukket var i stykker. Hotellet var pænt indrettet men i virkelig dårlig stand og på ingen måder hvad man forventer af 3 stjerner og 1500 kr pr nat.

• Johanna (4/5): - When we arrived, the wi-fi wasn’t working and we were told they couldn’t fix it until midnight because they only have one employee working at the hotel and he couldn’t leave the desk! There is no air-conditioning, the rooms are small and cramped, there was a weird smell we couldn’t get rid of, the shower had no curtain or glass separating the tub from the rest of the bathroom, the beds were uncomfortable and the elevator was extremely small and slow. This was described as a 3-star hotel, but it really is more on par with a budget motel.

We arrived before check in and the receptionist allowed us to store our luggage until the room was ready. The hotel was older, but the triple room we booked was spacious and clean. Good value for money and I’d definitely stay here again.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Hotel has late evening noise issue - Room was clean enough, however there were issues. Plug sockets coming away from the walls, bed was broken. Biggest problem was the noise. On Friday evening all we could hear when we were trying to sleep was the noise from the bar on the same street as the hotel is on. The noise finally stopped when it close in the early hours of the morning. The windows were closed but the noise was coming through the air vents which could not be closed.

• Guillaume (8/5): Hôtel sympathique - Hôtel dans une rue tranquille, très belle façade mais... La chambre est pleine de fissures, murs et plafonds, un rafraichissement s'impose. La salle de bains a été refaite à neuf, plutôt bon signe. Par contre le ménage laisse à désirer, dommage. Le personnel est très accueillant et courtois, le petit déjeuner copieux et la salle de repas très belle. Donc encore quelques travaux, un brin de ménage et ça sera parfait!
• Sergio Rodriguez (8/5): - Soy recepcionista en un complejo de categoría inferior (un dos llaves) frente a este hotel (un tres estrellas), la verdad es que las instalaciones van de la mano. Instalaciones obsoletas, como se puede observar en las fotos la recepción esta apuntalada, los pasillos con moqueta tanto en el suelo como en las paredes (un gran peligro de incendios), la habitación cómoda pero obsoleta con una decoración de los años 70, unas vigas de madera en el techo, una ducha muy estrecha y con la alcachofa tan alta que había que levantar el falso techo para sacarla de su ubicación. Buena insonorización. Recomendable, si le vas a dar como uso solo estar para dormir.

• Valentina (8/5): - Ein ganz nettes Hotel, dafür, dass die Lage ziemlich zentral ist, war es ein guter Preis. Die Räume waren sauber und Zimmerservice hat auch immer top aufgeräumt. Das einzige was ein bisschen Schade war, war, dass der Raum anfangs nach Rauch gestunken hat und dass der Buffet kein richtiger buffet, wie man es sich so vorstellt. Wir mussten dann Mittag schon nochmal essen. Am besten gefällt es mir, wenn man morgens viel essen kann, sodass man das Mittagessen (und somit auch lästige Schlangen und Wartezeiten) überspringen kann und die Zeit besser in Paris ausnutzen kann. Das war hier nicht möglich. Insgesamt hat es mir aber gut gefallen und würde das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Les matelas sont dur comme de la pierre. On dort avec des couvertures comme à l'armée. Un trou de prise retirée dans la tête de lit.Latapisserie et déco d'un autre temps. Par contre l'acceil est agréable, et la salle de bain refaite à neuf.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Horrible - Lors du checking on nous annonce que la direction impose la fermeture des portes de l'hôtel de 23h à 6h. Aucune communication en amont. D'après les forces de l'ordre, aucune consigne n'avait été donnée en ce sens. Arrivées entre filles, le gérant a eu une attitude paternaliste très intrusive et une présence extrêmement insistante. Obligées d'ouvrir les fenêtres en plein hiver tellement le chauffage était fort. Cet hôtel nous a gâché le séjour. Seul point positif : vieillot mais propre.

Nos dieron la habitación del altillo/guardilla en el sexto piso y a todas las habitaciones se llega por una escalera caracol de madera cubierta por alfombra (todo inflamable); un peligro inimaginable si llega a pasar algo. Además, la habitación era una heladera y de las 2 estufas que tenía solo 1 funcionaba correctamente. Reclamamos en recepción tanto la locación de la habitación como el problema con la estufa y nos dijeron "que se iban a fijar" pero nadie hizo nada. En la recepción carecían de amabilidad y mientras hacíamos el check-in nos sumaron el desayuno por €90 (un despropósito) sin preguntarnos (habíamos hecho la reserva por Hotels pero evitado añadir el desayuno adrede). Dijimos que no lo queríamos y nos miraron con cara de extrañado como si fuera algo raro.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - The Havane Hotel does not measure up to its description. The [picture of the spiral staircase must be years old, as it was not evident from the lobby. We were traveling with a teenager and he required an early check in. The Hotel did oblige our request with a room that was no where near the level booked. There were three beds in a room that just accommodated three beds, no space. Our booked room had AC, the room they provided had no AC.

The reception area employees are rude and dismissive. The elevator is not for claustrophobic, neither are some rooms. If you are big or over weight discard this place. Also the metro is very near but the stop CADET doesnt really connect to much so you will have to change subways a lot. There are better places and better hotels to stay at for the same price. Enjoy your trip to Europe, and make your own decision, I can only share my experience, but your might be different.

Basically you get what you pay for. Local metro station just opposite the hotel. Ten mins walk to the Eurostar train station. Few restaurants close by. Good choice of hotel.

• eeas (6/5): Do not stay - I booked this hotel for my wife and daughters They said the room was small While out on the first day all my wife’s cash was stolen from her room. The money was in her zipped up in her case and in a file. I won’t go into all the details but my wife and daughters didn’t enjoy their short stay in Paris. The manger was not helpful and very rude and upset my wife. The money should have been in the safe but it still should have been okay we have never had this happen before.

• Adam (10/5): Clean, comfortable hotel in convenient location - Clean and comfortable. Has an elevator. Free wifi worked well in and out of room. Quiet. Location was good; it felt safe and was near prime tourist spots. Near a metro. Helpful staff that speak English. Expensive by other cities' standards, but was good value by Paris standards. Wifi was free, but many other things cost extra - e.g. extra fee to use the room safe, get a fridge, eat breakfast, or store luggage on days not present. TV was small, but we didn't go to Paris to watch TV.

• Jean (8/5): Great Neighborhood - Hotel Havane is close to train station and metro stops. Plenty of cafes nearby. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Room is small but as expected. Breakfast offered for 10€.
• John (8/5): Simply stylish hotel in nice area. - Great location just 10min walk from Gare du Nord station. Much shopping and grocery stores close by. Safe clean area and close to Metro or great walks to many major sights. Every street you walk is an adventure and architectural wonder! Nice hotel for families, clean and everything one needs. A very Paris feel to the hotel, simple but old classy style.

• Heida (4/5): Stilettos noise at 2am - It was awful. We can't sleep at night because people on the streets drinking and talking is very loud even high heel shoes walking you can hear it! That's how bad the noise was.
