John (1/5): Wedding venue - Vast difference in rooms within a category. Check to make sure you get what you have booked. Don’t be duped with the “upgraded” room. Poor rooms in the higher category are much worse than the average in the category you have booked. The new extentions have included more function rooms and has changed the hotel into a wedding venue that also takes over the public spaces. Crowds of people smoking and vaping outside the main entrance to the hotel in various states of undress. Beware!!
Kate (6/5): Stay at the Corinthia instead - Unfortunately the negatives outweighed the positives for our experience, but what I did like were the comfortable beds, good-sized shower and excellent water pressure, location of the hotel, and the unlimited sandwiches/scones served at afternoon tea. I really wanted to love Claridge’s. I had been wanting to stay here for years and finally used our babymoon as the perfect opportunity for a weekend getaway (we usually stay at the Corinthia). It’s disappointing to say how many negatives we have after spending so much on a room for a weekend. Firstly, I requested a pregnancy pillow in the room, but didn’t end up using it as it was covered in stains and had obviously never been washed. We went to Claridge’s afternoon tea and again were disappointed. The food was very tasty but we were sat near the till and spent our whole tea listening to the staff bickering over some drama between each other. Then again we had breakfast in the same restaurant and the waiter forgot multiple parts of our order and we had to keep following up for missing items. One final point (which to be fair is both a negative and positive) to comment on relates to our 2nd night in the hotel when we made a noise complaint at 10pm. We were on our babymoon so came to the hotel for a relaxing wholesome weekend. Turns out our room was above the function centre a few floors down and there was a wedding DJ playing music. The night manager was very polite and moved us to a brand new room around 10:30pm for the night to sleep in. Whilst we were appreciative of finally being able to get some rest, given we paid close to £900 a night for the room, it would have been nice to be given a voucher for breakfast the next day. After checking out we were emailed a voucher offering us a complimentary upgrade on our NEXT stay, but with this many disappointing experiences for a ~£900 a night room, we will be staying at the Corinthia instead.

Asude (1/5): It is WAIST of money - Konumu ve kahvaltısı iyi 4 aile otelde konaklama yaptık. Otele giriş yaptığımız andan çıkış anına kadar problemler yaşadık. Erken checkin talep etmemize rağmen bize engelli odasını önerdiler. Arkadaşımın odasını kendisine sormadan eşyalarını otel çalışanları toplayarak oda değişikliği yaptılar. Arkadaşım odasının kapısı açılmayınca resepsiyona gidiyor ve orada odasının değiştirildiğini öğreniyor. Kendilerinden habersiz ve izinsiz arkadaşımın eşyalarına dokunuyorlar. Kardeşimin odasında kahve makinesi yoktu resepsiyonu arayıp sorduğunda ise her odada olmayacağını talep etmesi gerektiğini söylediler. Ancak rezervasyon bilgilerinde kahve makinesi odanın özelliklerinde vardı. Otelin çalışanları ve resepsiyon görevlileri ne yazıkki kaba ve bilgisiz insanlar. Otelin sadece ismi var hizmet beklemeyin. Paranızı çöpe atmak istiyorsanız rezervasyon yapabilirsiniz.

Yildirim (1/5): Kaba,ilgisiz çalışanlar ve çok kötü bir otel - Beğendiğim bir şey yok. 4 arkadaş grubu olarak gittiğimiz seyahette 4 oda rezerve ettik ve otele girdiğimiz an itibariyle bir sürü problem yaşadık. Öncelikle 45 m2 olarak ayırttığımız oda yerine bizi 25 m2’lik bir oda verdiler daha sonra odamızı değiştirdiklerinde hem tuvaleti bozuktu hemde kahve makinası yoktu. Bir diğer arkadaşımıza engelli odası verdiler. Bir diğer arkadaşımız talep etmediği halde odasını değiştirip otel çalışanları kendi insiyatifiyle arkadaşımın eşyalarını izinsiz bir şekilde başka bir odaya aktardı. Çalışanlar oldukça kaba ve ilgisizdi. Sorun karşısında çözüm odaklı olmak yerine aksine daha da çok problem üreten bir otel yönetimi var. Bir daha asla bu otelde konaklamayacağız ve kimseye önermeyeceğiz.!!!
Muhammed Kerem (1/5): BE CAREFUL what kind of experience you are paying for. - I had never seen such an indifferent and rude group of staff together before. It was the biggest disappointment and the worst experience I’ve had. I definitely will not choose this place again. If you book your room online, they may place you on the side facing the construction even when the hotel has other available rooms, which makes it impossible to rest peacefully. I would strongly recommend being careful about this.

Lawrence (6/5): Disappointing. My expectations were based on past experiences there, but some things have changed. - I’ve stayed at Claridges many times over the years. It’s position and reputation make it ideal for business and pleasure. Sadly my previous stay was before Covid and Brexit. For some reason my 25 year history as a guest with the hotel was lost during a recent data update. My rooms only window was facing an inside lightwell with no direct sunlight and a generator that hummed all night long disrupting my sleep for both nights. Maid service lights was broken delaying turnover service. At 1200 euros per night, a hotel of this reputation the standard is sub bar.

Beautiful landmark hotel in a fantastic location. Nothing to fault at this hotel. Service is fantastic. Would have been nice if a small treat such as chocolates, sweets, pillow mist or ear plugs were given during turn down. However, there really is absolutely nothing to complain about.

Rob Booth (8/5): A wonderful festive experience where you can immerse yourself in to the Christmas spirit - perfect! - We love Claridges and have stayed for the last few years in early December. In fact we adore the place. It oozes charm, tradition, and the whole feel of the place is wonderful. The location is superb and the staff very accommodating and professional. The only disappointment was banging/hammering noises as early at 8am coming from works carried out to the hotels new Bakery I believe - we should be informed of such works and this is the second time we have had a noisy room but more to the point early in the day. We hate complaining but when paying such a high room rate for such a special occasion we have to mention this. We have booked again directly with the hotel for Dec 2026 and hope the room issue is taken in to consideration.

Doubledeeitiswhat (6/5): Average - I love claridge’s it’s my favourite hotel in London .., I love the location the service and the overall quality and vibe of the hotel Ok so this is as our 3rd time staying at the hotel and this was the most we had spent for 1 night on a room but when we got to the hotel we were early so we were told that we would be informed when the room was ready which was fine … guaranteed to be ready by 3 we went shopping came back around 230 had a drink in the bar and waited it was now 3pm and no acknowledgement of room so made our way to reception to ask how long it would be as we had a reservation at 4.15 eventually around 5 minutes later we were shown to our room and on the way was told you have been upgraded to a lovely room so myself and husband thought fantastic and after the 2 times we had stayed before we were expecting a fabulous room ???.. once we finally got to the room after turning left and left again we arrived at room 256 shown in and on first impression thought we were on a cruise very wooden ..

Thank you all - Literally everything, but as always what makes a hotel special are the staff..What an incredibly attentive and welcoming team. Honestly nothing that I can think of…when the bathroom grouting on a edge of a dark marble floor is pristine white (when they could have chosen dark grouting) you can tell the level of care and detail taken to ensure the highest levels of service.

James (2/5): Poor - Can I say the woman that checked us in was great, Katie Reid booked us in and a was BRILLIANT. Please someone give her a raise I booked a room to my partners 40th. When we got to claridges it was so busy and quite hectic (6pm last night) it didn’t feel very special, I was quite taken aback at how busy it was. I must say I had a terrible night sleep. Our room (224) was so hot and I was woken at 5am. I put the air con on and it was so loud, it just felt really basic for £1000 a night. Breakfast was okay but quite frankly my poor sleep over rode any positive experience.

The food outstanding and the staff- excellent !! The prices are staggeringly over the top even for London . The hotel had a big party going on and it was so busy with the general public everywhere which at times , felt too much .
