From the moment we arrived, the hotel went above and beyond to accommodate every request and every small detail. Before our arrival, I had asked for a room on a higher floor, with a nice view, as well as an extra bed for our son, and everything was arranged perfectly. The staff were exceptionally polite, kind, professional, smiling, and always ready to help. This was our first time staying at The Berkeley, so I was not familiar with the history of the hotel or how long it has been there, but everything inside felt beautifully renovated, fresh, luxurious, warm, and elegant. The room was excellent — spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Although our room was facing Hyde Park and a very busy main road, we could not hear any noise at all inside the room, which made the stay even more relaxing. A special mention must go to the hotel restaurant, La Môme. The restaurant is very stylish and posh, with a wonderful atmosphere, but the food was even better. We truly enjoyed it. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and would happily return. A beautiful hotel with outstanding service.

However, during this visit, my sleep wasn’t as comfortable as usual. . Despite these inconveniences, I’ll definitely stay here again but will request a room with a proper double bed next time. I was given a room with two single beds pushed together, and I kept slipping into the middle during the night, which made it hard to rest properly. Additionally, when I arrived around 9 p.m., my room was still being cleaned, and I had to wait in the hallway before checking in.

- Paulina Mercedes (9/5): A hotel I usually enjoy, with great facilities and comfort, but this time marked by a very poor first night and unresolv - I generally love this hotel and have stayed here before. The property itself is very pleasant, the food is very good, the beds are comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is nice. The spa and the gym are absolutely fantastic and, in my opinion, the best part of the hotel. During the second and third nights, the team did make a real effort to improve the experience, and the upgraded room was quite Unfortunately, there was a very serious issue with how my stay was handled. The first night I was placed in a terrible room, right next to a service door, simply because I booked through Booking and the rate was considered lower. I was woken up at around 7:30 AM by cleaning carts and constant noise coming from that service area, which was unacceptable. I complained through Booking and tried to raise the issue, but no one responded or seemed willing to help. Although I was later moved to a better room, I was charged significantly more in pounds than the rate I had agreed on through Booking, and again, no one addressed or explained this. It was very frustrating, and the first night completely ruined the start of the stay.

- Luca (10/5): Hotel da sogno con uno staff da sogno - Pulizia, servizi, gentilezza dello staff concierge e grande attenzione al cliente da parte di tutto il personale La nostra camera era molto bella ma dal bagno (doccia,water e lavandini) si percepiva non un buonissimo odore. Probabilmente aria dalle tubature. Ma lo staff dell'hotel ha inmediatamente posto rimedio in tutti i modi.

- Michael (7/5): Solide Wahl für London. - Lage ist sehr gut, Frühstück im Hauptraum ohne Eier, sehr Croissant - lästig, dafür aber in einem zweiten Restaurant exzellente Omelettes und Eiergerichte. Vielleicht einziges Hotel in London mit europäischen Steckdosen, sehr gute Idee! Zimmer neu, modern und effizient, ebenso das Bad. Zimmer war um 15:00 nicht fertig für Check -in, war unangenehm für mich weil ich einen Termin hatte und sehr in Eile war. Das Cafe ist servicemässig ziemlich schwach, Karte solala, sehr viele Gäste die offensichtlich nicht im Hotel nächtigen, Touristen von der Strass etc., daher eher schwache Atmosphäre.

- Christian (8/5): Bien - Emplacement idéal : une bonne partie du centre de Londres peut être explorée à pieds. Cachet certain du bâtiment ancien et de la décoration plus moderne des chambres, tout en restant sobre et élégante. Le Café Cédric Grolet vaut le détour à lui tout seul. Rooftop pool assez rare à Londres, mais assez petite. Je n’ai pas testé le Surenne Spa (de l’hôtel Emory voisin), paraît-il que c’est une pépite. Surclassement en suite : à priori « good news », sauf que ladite suite donnait sur la cour intérieure, alors que j’avais réservé une chambre supposée donner sur l’église qui se situe derrière l’hôtel. Bonjour le vis à vis, adieu la vue dégagée. Heureusement que c’était en étage élevé. Service assez passable pour un 5 étoile : Check-in assez froid, impersonnel, vite expédié, peu chaleureux ; le « concierge » qui ne lève pas le nez de son écran d’ordinateur pour vous saluez quand vous passez devant ; le petit déjeuner en chambre qui met 1h à arriver … des détails certes mais que l’on ne devrait pas rencontrer dans cette catégorie d’hôtel.

- Alistair (10/5): Stunning hospitality experience throughout. - From start to finish this modern hotel exudes quality and excellence of the highest order. From drawing up in a taxi to a swift and efficient check-in and being escorted to my room everything was seamless. I was given a very generous room upgrade. Staff swiftly attended with my luggage and room service arrived simultaneously with “amenities” acknowledging my birthday and I was offered a lovely coffee and additional water. The lady who delivered these was delightful, funny and informative. Unfortunately I did not get her name (#630 on 28.7.25) I spent time exploring all my room facilities. They were stunning and I was extremely impressed. Best bathroom ever! The view from the rooftop pool area over Hyde Park and Knightsbridge is stunning. I enjoyed a peaceful light lunch and cocktail at the ground floor bar. Here I experienced swift and discreet service on a quiet side street terrace with neighbouring church bells sounding every 15 minutes. Very relaxing. There was extensive work ongoing on in the front lobby but this in no way impaired my overall experience here although reception and concierge areas were compromised. In the evening I had dinner at the new “La Môme”. This is a very lively and buzzing new addition at The Berkeley with a mid-20th century smart jazzy nightclub feel and a Côte d’Azur vibe. Staff are energetic and enthusiastic, so keen to please and ensure you’re having a great time. Service is swift, discreet and efficient. Food and drinks were all lovely from start to finish. Fantastic live music really made this evening truly special. Staff made my birthday feel very special! Room service breakfast was prompt, very special and really generous. Shout out to Mohamed at the front door, who made arrival with luggage welcoming and departure swift and easy. Truly great service! In short: everything at The Berkeley is really “on point”. I’d give it a 7 star rating with a score of 20/10.

- paula (10/5): Great new find! - We have been visiting London annually for the last 35 years but this is our first time staying at the Berkeley, and I am so glad we tried it. The service was great and the ambience even better. We took advantage of the gym, spa, pool, rooftop pool and all the restaurants and we were pleasantly surprised. Also, the rooms were very comfortable. We will definitely be staying there again!
- Amani (1/5): Majorly disappointing - Got my room after 1 hour 50 mins whereas check in time was 3.00 , room cleanliness service poor hair in shower area sink water blocked shower handle leaking it was majorly dissatisfied and disappointed, we have tried to speak to the manger , I’m wanting a full refund as loss of time , breach of cleanliness service at least expected the highest standard and reputation that the Berkeley holds super super disappointing !!!:(

Staff talking loudly to each other in conversations not work related. Furniture is too big for the rooms, nowhere to comfortably open up your suitcases. A menu in the room for the coffee pod flavours would be helpful, I had to call up and ask as I drink decaf. No welcome note or personal touches in the room.

In room dining for gluten free vegan exceptionally disappointed. - It’s very sad in this day and age in the 21st century that the in room dining at night is not accommodating for wheat free vegans. The dinner I had, pasta and breaded rolls was not fresh. It was from a packet, not freshly made. Very disappointing indeed. Given the food I could have bought at my local Waitrose supermarket and would taste better and be 1/5 price.
