O ar e a natureza da Patagônia na porta do hotel. O quarto era um espetáculo. A comida espetacular. Eu não tenho palavras para descrever o SPA. Não tem defeitos.

Las calles que conducen desde la ruta al hotel, son ruinosas y complicadas conducen lluvia. Las habitaciones no tienen aislacion acústica, se escuchan puertas, voces y movimientos muebles / equipaje; tanto del pasillo como de las habitaciones contiguas o superiores.

• martha (7/5): Nao tem perfil tipico de um Relais & Château - O hotel é muito bonito, decorado com gosto, situado em uma praia de lago muito bonita. Com piscina quente interna e externa agradavel. A comida é gostosa. O quarto tem uma bela vista para o lago mas é muito pequeno e o armario é diminuto. Nao ha peignoir ou chinelo no quarto. Para ir ao spa o acesso é externo e no frio isso nao é agradavel. O restaurante é bom mas o preço é muito mais caro que nos outros restaurantes gourmets da cidade. O café da manha nao é buffet e as porçoes sao diminutas. Tudo é muito contado neste hotel; sentimos à todo momento que faziam economia. Pedimos um cocktail à tarde e nao serviam espontaneamente amendoim ou azeitonas como acompanhamento. Para um Relais & Château, ele deixa a desejar; o serviço é sumario. Alguns empregados nao sao nada simpaticos.

Beautiful setting, a large room with an amazing view. Spa was excellent and the three course dinner was fantastic. Nothing, everything was great!
• Dale (10/5): We have stayed in many wonderful places in the world but this is in our top ten. - The tucked away location on the lake is heaven and it is a short drive to the sweet little town. The real “special sauce” is how the staff provides 5 star service and creates an intimate, relaxed atmosphere without being obsequious. Dinner menu was excellent but a little limited for our taste, but it is hard to please everyone on this.

• Claude (3/5): Mucha perdida de tiempo - Nada El acesso, por un camino de tierra mal mantenido, para un Relais & Château no es acceptable. No pudimos quedarnos en el hotel porque, apesar de "aceptar mascotas" en Booking, al llegar nos dijeron que el peso maximo para una mascota era de 15 Kg. Estou cansado de estas complicaciones con Booking y ciertos hoteles. MUCHA PERDIDA DE TIEMPO.

• Jonathan (9/5): A stunning location and very stylish but laid back hotel. Great for a relaxing escape - The location was stunning, the views across the lake were breathtaking and fantastic to wake up to in the morning. The spa facilities were outstanding. Sadly, we dint have time to have a massage but we hear the Sophia is an excellent massage and wellness therapist! The staff were all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. It has great access to lots of walks, national park and nearby town of Villa Angostora which has lots of great restaurants. We also visited Puerto Manzano which is a 10 minute drive away-Del Campo for lunch was fabulous! It had a cosy and stylish interior. The food was great. We stayed for 5 nights and perhaps had the smallest room in the hotel. This was very small with limited space for unpacking clothes and storing our luggage. It was also lacking some basic amenities- eg No robes or slippers provided-had to get them ourselves from the spa. Attention to detail in housekeeping could’ve better ie no coffee replaced and flannels removed and not replaced through the stay. Our room was also very light and the roller blinds weren’t sufficient. The hotel also hosted a party on day 2 directly below our room- which ended up being very noisy as just above the location. Generally our room felt noisy and a lack of privacy. Some services were gratuitously expensive ie $140 for kayak rental and laundry most expensive I’ve ever had anywhere in the world! The restaurant, although very good, is also very expensive compared to the nearby restaurant options.

It’s good place, but not great property that you expect from R&C. Small things that make a place great were missed. We were asked what welcome drink we liked - but the drink never arrived. There’s no info on WiFi or much in the room. - had to call front desk to get the password. The exhaust/vent fan in bathroom comes on for only 2-3 mins at a time . Too short. We had to switch it on multiple times. Room not entirely clean - pieces of cookies under the sofa etc., nespresso machine in the room - but, need to pay 2$ per pod. Feels cheap to nickel and dime guests

Lovely staff especially Fleur who gave us help on where to go etc Unfortunately it was raining when we arrived and the following morning so we couldn’t take full advantage of the activities. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Lovely staff in the dining room. Near to the town so easy to eat in town too. It felt really tired .. and way overpriced for its tiredness. The spa area had a grimy looking mat around the pool. All of the chair covers outside looked a little worn. Charging for water seems extreme when the rooms are already pricey. As a person staying you didn’t feel very looked after! We had a great dinner and we were going to sit by the fire afterwards but no one had thought to keep the fire alight. Felt like a manager was missing. Young friendly staff but no real direction. I have worked in the industry for 50 years so I don’t think I am being too harsh.

• Cheryl (10/5): Spectacular - What to say, we arrived late and were treated to a GnT while our bags were taken to our Villa. It was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed…seriously!!!! The pool and spa facilities were first rate with robes, slippers, a pitcher of mint water and fresh fruit! Indoor/outdoor pool was perfect (warm), and the yoga area was great for a stretch before my swim. My husband used the workout room and we both took showers there before making our way to breakfast! Breakfast was delicious ! The staff was amazing and accommodating! The bed was a little hard for my husband so they brought and put on a topper for us. Also their turndown service brought down the motorized blinds. What do you say when you bring up the two story blinds to a magnificent view (sunrise for us)…..Heaven! That was the official name of our villa, and baby it sure was!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! 🙏 😊. BTW….don’t miss out on their nature trail. That we could only stay one night!

The room was comfortable with an unforgettable view, and the spa was so lovely that we didn't want to spend time anywhere else. Highly recommend the restaurant degustation with the wine tasting... it was a highly considered menu with impeccable service. Absolutely wonderful stay - we didn't want to leave! We would have appreciated more clarity that the breakfast was included in our stay. We didn't realize this until checking out, so we didn't fully take advantage during our stay.

• Ezra (10/5): Increible estadia. Ideal para parejas! - Pasamos unos dias hermosos en este hotel emblematico de Villa la Angostura. El entorno, la calidez y la atencion es lo que mas destaco. La comida, un capitulo a parte: espectacular!! Fuimos muy bien recibidos y atendidos por el personal, siempre dispuestos a ayudarnos. Lo unico que puedo criticar es la habitacion que nos toco (se que hay mejores)... era chica y al baño le falta modernizarse. Tambien puedo decir que nos costo llegar las primeras veces, los carteles desde la ruta no estan muy visibles y de noche no hay luces en los caminos, asi que, a veces, se nos hace dificil. Pero esto no opaco nuestra hermosa estadia en Las Balsas. Super recomendable!!

We chose to dine at this boutique hotel restaurant each of the 3 nights we stayed there because it was superior to other reviewed restaurants. Locally sourced; excellently prepared.
• Ana Luiza (10/5): hotel muito top - Não tenho costume de avaliar hotéis, mas nesse caso faço questão, pois a receptividade que tivemos foi algo de fato diferenciado. Nos disponibilizaram um quarto maravilhoso (Lavanda), foram muito cordiais e gentis. O restaurante é excelente. Ah, um detalhe: antes de dormir, colocaram água e chocolate em nossos criados. Minha esposa e eu adoramos e recomendamos muito o hotel.
