• Sabrina1705222 (7/5): Décevant au vu du prix - Points positifs : Localisation : l'hôtel est bien localisé, à 5 min à pied de la station "Lansdowne Road" sur la ligne verte DART, qui vous amène en 10 minutes au centre de Dublin (station "Tara Street"). Ils ont un parking, donc pas besoin de stresser pour la conduite à gauche en pleine capitale : vous vous garez dans le parking de l'hôtel et vous êtes en 15 min dans le centre ville avec le train. Petit déjeuner : énormément de choix, pour tous les régimes alimentaires, tout était excellent. La personne à l'accueil (d'origine asiatique) a été une des rares personnes du staff à nous sourire et nous accueillir convenablement au vu du prix de la nuitée. La chambre et salle de bain comportent plusieurs types de rangements, avec une superficie convenable. Elles étaient également très propres, avec bouilloire et thé à disposition. Notre chambre 313 était calme, on a parfois entendu d'autres clients parler très fort dans le couloir mais rien d'excessivement dérangeant. Les parties communes qui n'étaient pas en travaux étaient vraiment belles, spacieuses, dignes d'un hôtel 4 étoiles. Le personnel répond également très rapidement aux messages via Booking. Le quartier est hupé, avec une jolie plage à quelques pas et des commerces. Nous savons qu’un hôtel situé en périphérie d’une capitale peut afficher des tarifs élevés. Cependant, au vu du prix payé et du standing annoncé, plusieurs points nous ont semblé inacceptables. Tout d’abord, l’hôtel était en travaux, sans aucune information au moment de la réservation ni ajustement tarifaire. Nous avons dû entrer par une porte secondaire, au milieu des plots et affiches de chantier, puis monter les escaliers avec nos valises sans aucun accueil ni aide. La réception était difficile à trouver. Dans la chambre 313, la température dépassait les 30°C : chauffage et porte-serviettes brûlants. Le porte serviette était impossible à régler par nous-mêmes. Aucun numéro de réception n’était indiqué et les touches 0 et 9 du téléphone ne fonctionnaient pas, nous obligeant à redescendre pour demander de l’aide. Un technicien est intervenu en laissant la porte de la salle de bain fermée. Lorsque nous sommes revenues après nos visites, nous avons eu la surprise de trouver de nouveau une chambre à 30 degrés, restée étouffante toute la soirée, au point que nous avons dû ouvrir la fenêtre en pleine nuit pour pouvoir dormir. La salle de bain présentait également plusieurs problèmes : baignoire peu sécurisée, fuite d’eau (donc obligées de mettre des serviettes par terre pour absorber), absence de support pour le papier toilette et absolument aucun article de toilette fourni, à part le savon et les serviettes. Aucune indication non plus pour utiliser le coffre. Enfin, le point le plus décevant reste l’attitude du personnel, qui donnait l’impression d’être dérangé. Lorsque j’ai demandé à emprunter un câble USB quelques minutes en urgence, le réceptionniste s’est contenté de répondre qu’il n’avait que celui de son ordinateur, sans proposer la moindre solution ou alternative.

• Carmen (9/5): Schönes Hotel in netter Umgebung in Dublin - gut mit den Öffis verbunden. - Schöne Umgebung, die Lage war für uns gut, da wir sowohl Dublin, als auch Howth entdecken wollten, deshalb ideal, weil die Dart gleich in der Nähe war. Hübsche Aufenthaltsecken in der Lobby, an denen man am Abend noch einen Drink nehmen konnte.

• Chris (10/5): - A friendly welcome, very helpful staff, from taking your case up and down the stairs because of the front lift refurbishment, the noise kept to a minimum, good choice at breakfast and evening meals should you want one,great areas to just sit and have a drink, coffee or something. Nothing was too much. It was in the right area for us, plus the train round the corner and bus at the end of the road so straight into Dublin city, highly recommended.

• Constance (9/5): Venue pour Paddy's day - La proximité du centre ville à pied, environ 35min, le parking gratuit à l'intérieur de l'hôtel. La chambre est spacieuse... Et calme. Les petits déjeuners sont copieux. La literie n'était pas très bonne. Les deux matelas étaient mous. J'ai dû mettre des oreillers sous le drap housse pour ne pas trop ressentir de gêne.

There was a match on nearby which we were aware off,but the bar was no set-up or prepared for this as people were queuing from the bar out the door the whole way to reception.It wasn't a good look and it could have been avoided if planned for and managed correctly.Not very good for residents as they needed to join that same queue if they wanted something from the bar.

• Pavlo (9/5): Great place to stay, quiet, big parcking, public transport close to hotel. - Great spacious room, close to DART (metro-like trains) that take you to center of the city. Room cleaning was perfect, always replacing all the towels, water and cookies. Big and free parking for your cars. Quite and clean residential area. Quick walk to 3Arena. Room was big, but located on the ground floor with our windows looking over parking with cars driving by sometimes, but it was good and spacious anyways.

DIverse korte trappen of hellingen en zigzaggende gangen. Nogal onverzichtelijk. Wellicht wordt dit beter als de in aanbouw zijnde (glazen) lift voor de historische voorgevel is opgeleverd.

• Grace (6/5): Good location , stay had added stress due to an unhelpful receptionist - Location , staff and cleanliness I have a fractured ankle and use two crutches atm. On arrival the lift was being replaced , I had to go up two flights of stairs . When room was allocated I was then told I had to go down another two flights of stairs . When I queried about a lift I was told there was none ,and when I questioned this , I was told that if I had booked directly with them and not through booking.com they could have prioritised a more accessible room. , and as the hotel was full there was no option. We were meeting friends in the evening and I choose to stay in my room as I was too tired after navigating stairs . Next day I met a manager and spoke to him. (Plaudia?)He was very helpful and showed me two other lifts which I could avail. We have stayed here before . We like the hotel . We gad booked in advance , we should have been made aware .. and the receptionist should have been more helpful .

• Terence (10/5): Excellent hotel in all aspects. - Excellent breakfast. Everything you could ask for and more. The surroundings of the breakfast room are beautiful and the staff very courteous and helpful if you wanted something they would get it for you and always very polite. Great service even with major work going on on the outside of the building it did not effect anything. The builders themselves were very polite and would stop work if you were nearby and no noises inside the building. Toilet seat in room a bit loose.

• Kristi (8/5): Lovely hotel close to the airport and the DART line. - Super fast trip from the airport and very close to the DART line. We were able to explore Dublin and then pop back to the airport very easily. We didn't try the restaurant, but their onsite pub was fantastic. The wait staff were exceptional and very helpful for picking scotches. The food was great! We didn't find anything lacking.

Very helpful on check in with bags. Really lovely staff and gorgeous comfortable, well equipped room. Thank you. Will stay again :) Great that the check out was 12noon especially when staying only one night.
