- Traveler32616236262 (10/5): Great Hotel - My wife and I spent three nights at the Hotel Genova in Rome. Absolutely stunning. The staff downstairs were extremely helpful and courteous, the room was more than adequate and the breakfasts were really good. The position of the hotel is great, a quick walk to the station and plenty of really good eateries all around. I would definitely stay there again when in Rome. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

- zeenashah99 (8/5): Good - We stayed here for 3 nights for our first trip to Rome. Location- 10/10. Only a 5 minute walk from Termini station. I would recommend getting a train from the airport straight to Termini. Very easy and much cheaper. The location is in an ideal place for many sites. 15-20 min walk to Trevi fountain, spanish steps, colosseum. For the Vatican you can either get a bus or train. Also a lot of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Room- clean, comfy bed, good storage space, nice bathroom and also a nice view from the window WiFi- POOR! Hardly works and if it does takes ages for things to load. We were hardly in the hotel as always out, however if you spend more time in the hotel this is a real nuisance Breakfast- not impressed. Not much of a selection, and poor quality. Choice of hot drinks was nice Staff- could be friendlier (particularly the reception staff). No smiles and hardly any hellos. These little things do really make a difference The main highlight of this hotel is the location, therefore I would recommend if visiting Rome, particularly for the first time. Overall a good experiences but definitely areas of improvement.

Breakfast is very basic, scrambled eggs cold and hot dog sausages just not worth trying! But the continental was ok. Hotel walls are thin when guests are plugging in phones etc! TV does not have English Channel or subtitles as they don’t work and we just wanted to relax when we got back late in the evening. Beds are hard but I think this is something in all hotels abroad as have never stayed in a comfy bed on holiday! Room was clean, refreshed daily which was a nice touch. Our room was facing the main road so if you’re a light sleeper ask to be away from the front otherwise you will not sleep. The staff we encountered were nice.
- lucyl457 (8/5): No real issue from us - Great hotel. We have just returned from a long weekend where we stayed at Hotel Genova. Rooms are basic but clean. Breakfast is also basic but does the job. Disappointed that reception 'arranged' a wake up call that never came, a boxed up breakfast that never happened and a booked taxi which was never organised. The staff are lovely and friendly but disorganised it would seem. This was a budget break, so you get what you pay for. Good location. Really central.
- PalmelaLopo (8/5): In the heart of Rome! - It is a nice hotel, located in the heart of Rome, a 10-minute walk from Termini (metro and railway station), and from Santa Maria Maggiore. The rooms are fine, the hotel is clean, breakfast is good and staff is helpful. Also, the bar is quite pleasant. One more elevator could help in some moments ofc the day. Close to the hotel, we can find a wide range of restaurants.

Mit offenem Fenster konnte man wegen des Verkehrslärms nicht schlafen. Das Frühstück war landestypische 4 Sterne Kategorie. Viele Lebensmittel waren abgepackt.
- jewellm455 (4/5): I wouldn’t stay here - It was just an ok stay. Nothing great. The breakfast was sub par and the location was good enough. I went with a group of friends but was in a room solo. My window opened up to a dirty area where there was trash and a broken down back way. I had to have my window open part of the time for air flow but the area I was facing was nasty. The breakfast was typical pastries which was fine. The bacon looked raw so I didn’t touch it. The staff was snobbish. They didn’t want u hanging out in the lobby at all. Some of my fellow travelers wanted to congregate in the lobby and one of the bell men ran us off. I figured if you were a paying customer you could hang out for a little bit and chat. We also stayed in Paris and the hotel and staff were nicer. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Los alrededores del hotel y el barrio en general no me parecieron inseguros como dicen algunos comentarios. El tamaño de la habitación era normal, estaba muy limpio. El desayuno tipo buffet pero sin mucha variedad. La insonorización de la habitacion era NULA. Se oían las habitaciones contiguas así como la gente que pasaba por los pasillos, aunque esto era soportable. Pero por la noche se escuchaba todo el ruido de la calle, los coches, la música, el tranvía.. Todo!! No pegábamos ojo, imposible dormir ni descansar. Asique recomiendo pedir habitaciones que no den a la avenida, a ver si teneis mas suerte con esto

- Salute (9/5): Localização ótima - Mto confortável. O ar apenas q fica climatizado pelo hotel e nos quartos um pouco quente demais. Tivemos q abrir as janelas do quarto. Não gostamos do chuveiro da nossa acomodação. Mas hotel mto bom.

- Clionagh (6/5): - The room was very clean and the staff were always very helpful We did enjoy our stay but what stood out to me was there was no clear or direct signage of where there toilets are, there was no one working at the bar if u wanted a drink or anything and inside the rooms because of being on the main road you can hear everything as clear as day even when the window is shut tight I feel it should be double glazed and then part of the window was a bit wonky where we felt unsafe to open it properly incase it feel off and hit a bystander

Elevator was super slow we were on 1st floor so were happy to take stairs but stairs were closed except the breakfast time. Breakfast was okish.. missing some vegetables (salad cucumber tomatoes anything) and from bread only white was available and no oats or porridge- just plane cereals..

Odada televizyon sadece kanallar vardı herhangi bir netflix,youtube uygulaması yoktu.

- Ashley (5/5): - We liked how convenient it was to the train station as we left super early and walked there with luggage. When we arrived there was commotion in the hallway outside our room because someone’s room flooded with water. The rooms themselves were ok but not what I would think is considered 4 stars. Very musty and old and signs to lock up your belongings and how the hotel is not responsible for stolen items. The doors also don’t close in their own and you have to pull them shut. Only stayed one night and don’t plan to return in the future. No AC made it very musty.

- Adriana (8/5): Città meravigliosa - La posizione é ottima, principalmente per chi arriva in treno e anche per le passeggiate serale fino al Colosseo. Per chi non vuole allontanarci tanto la sera ci sono tanti piccoli ristorante nella stessa via. Anche se siamo a Roma dove regna l'antichità, sarebbe interessante una rimodernata. E avere un ristorante nel hotel.

- Anna (3/5): I love Rome - Przy nazwie Hotelu Genova na booking.com i u wejścia do tegoż obiektu widnieją 4 gwiazdki. Lokalizacja idealna pod względem komunikacji. Zarezerwowałam na 3 noce pokój typy deluxe. Do hotelu przybyłyśmy późnym wieczorem, po wspaniałym pobycie na Sardynii. W recepcji poinformowano nas, że niestety nie udało się spełnić mojej prośby o pokój na wyższym piętrze ("niestety brak wolnych") Pytam czy na pewno, proszę o sprawdzenie - odpowiedź "niestety, może jutro się uda". Zatem trafiamy do pokoju deluxe na piętro pierwsze - przesronny. Drobny problem z niedziałającym przełącznikiem deszczownia/prysznic postanawiamy zgłosić w recepcji rano i zasypiamy. Niestety rano nie nadchodzi. 8:30 ciemność, sprawdzam godzinę 2 razy. Wyłączam światło i podchodzę do okna. Widzę otwarte okiennice wewnętrzne i szyby mleczne. Otwieram jedno z 2 skrzydeł (ok 40/110cm a pokój - przestronny) widzę zamknięte okiennice zewnętrzne, otwieram - widok DELUXE - tzw podwórze studnia, ściany brudne, odrapane, z odpadajacym tynkiem, półmrok, w dole śmietniki - precyzyjnie ujmując śmieciowisko! Zamykam czym prędzej (tylko skrzydła z szbami oczywiście), wyłączam lampę i jedyne co widzę, to cienie mebli i te 4!!!! hotelowe gwiazdy oczywiście. Koszmar! Dramat! Pokój deluxe, do którego nie przebija się światło dzienne. Po 10 minutach burzliwej dyskusji w recepcji, przejażdżkach windą góra dół, zwiedzaniu kolejnych 3 komnat hotelowych (wszystkie były przygotowane, a doba hotelowa kończy się tu dopiero o 11, upewniałam się 2 razy pamiętając wieczorne "niestety, może jutro się uda") Wow, udało się - właśnie w tym celu przyleciałam po raz kolejny do ukochanego Rzymu! Po zmarnowanej niemal godzinie, w poirytowaniu i najgłębszym rozczarowaniu, znalazłyśmy się jasnym pokoju, z dużym oknem na 3 piętrze, co najwyżej classic absolutnie nie 4*, nie deluxe (zdjecia, które są na booking.

Very good quality, confortable mattrasses. Very nice breakfast!! Bathtubs did not work, bath plugs were broken and water drained out. Could not use baths, only the showers. Low water pressure was also a problem. Towel warmers did notwork.
