- AlexisPinzon (10/5): Great renovated rooms and excellent West Hollywood location - Stayed here during our first trip to Los Angeles and honestly it ended up being one of the best decisions of the trip. The location is excellent if you want to stay around West Hollywood. The area felt clean, safe to walk around at night, and there are tons of food options nearby. Getting around was also super easy with Uber and Waymo. One thing to keep in mind is that the hotel has access from both the front and the back. Sometimes Uber/Waymo drivers will drop you off behind the hotel instead of the main entrance, but if you already checked in, you can use your room key to access the back entrance and just go up the stairs. The rooms seem to have been recently renovated and look much newer than some of the older photos online. Ours had the newer white-and-blue style room and it honestly looked great. Very spacious room, extremely comfortable bed, lots of pillows, mini fridge, microwave, sink area, and even a small table/lounge area to eat or relax. The bathroom was also surprisingly large with very good lighting. One thing that really stood out to us was how quiet the room was. Even though the hotel is on a busy street, once inside the room you could barely hear anything outside. Interestingly, you can hear some noise while walking through the hallways, but once you’re inside the room it becomes extremely quiet, even in the bathroom. The soundproofing inside the rooms was honestly impressive. The only weak point for us was the breakfast, but considering the price point and that it’s complimentary, it’s understandable. It’s very similar to the typical breakfast you’d find at chain hotels like Fairfield Inn — mostly prepackaged items and basic hot food options. During our stay there were only a couple hot items available along with waffles, oatmeal, toast, yogurt, juice, etc. Also, the breakfast area gets crowded pretty quickly and most tables are larger group tables, so smaller tables for couples would probably improve the space a lot. Overall though, I would absolutely stay here again. For the location, renovated rooms, comfort, and quietness, it ended up exceeding our expectations.

The food was good and the staff was friendly. The area is very busy with limited parking. But it was in the middle of Hollywood, so that was to be expected.

Parking was affordable at $35 with enter/exit allowed and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve had. Super clean hotel, amazing decor/design and beautiful pool area. My room and bathroom were clean. 9/10, I would stay here again

- S (9/5): A great stay - Very nice and spacious room with lots of plugs, all the amenities you need, and an incredibly comfortable bed. Very nice staff, and a fantastic location to visit various areas of LA. Good breakfast! Very very minor: the rooms facing the swimming pool can get noisy if a lot of children are swimming; the hot water takes a little while to arrive (but eventually comes) - but it didn't impact my stay in the slightest. The other thing is that I had a bit of an issue with the room I was assigned, but the hotel moved me and resolved this very quickly. If you can afford it, I'd recommend going for the slightly more expensive "Double Room with 2 Double Beds - Non-Smoking" instead of the "Queen Room with Two Queen Beds - Non-Smoking", as it seems to me like some of the rooms in this hotel (like the first one I was given) could benefit from being refurbished and others (like the one I was moved to) are spotless and feel very new, and that might justify the difference in price.

Staff were able to provide recommendations of where to eat, park and shop. Fantastic place, will stay again when next passing

Really disappointed with the lady at reception who had little customer service when I raised that the safe didn’t work and the sink plug didn’t work. She just wasn’t bothered, offered no apology or solutions.

- aiolos73 (10/5): Great experience - The hotel is clean with a cozy yet rational atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and silent. The location is very convenient for reaching every zone in LA. The value is solid and the service is kind, quick and sharp. The swimming pool is a great amenity. Carlos and Albert were especially kind in helping us with clear instructions and speaking with an excellent pronunciation, very comfortable for non-native speakers like us. Dearly recommended.

- 331natea (10/5): Best times on Sunset, LA - I recently stayed at the Best Western Sunset Plaza Hotel, and I absolutely loved it. The staff was incredibly accommodating, especially Nikki, who was so helpful and attentive. The rooms were beautifully remodeled, spotless, and really comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it! 🥰❤️🍷

- ileftmyheartinTokyo (8/5): A few things we didn’t love about it but was still okay value for money - Stayed for 2 nights and overall this is a solid hotel that offers good value for money. The location is excellent and the pool area is beautiful - a nice place to relax, although the towels are quite worn and could do with being replaced. Our room was on the 3rd floor and had some annoying steps to carry luggage up and down to get to it. The room itself was large and had clearly been recently refreshed. The bed was comfortable, softer than I’d usually go for, but I still slept well. The only downside was the lack of any real view, and the door let in a bit of light which might bother lighter sleepers. A nice touch was having a microwave and a good-sized fridge in the room, which made things a bit more convenient during the stay. One small disappointment was that Expedia advertised a free bottle of wine, which we didn’t receive. Breakfast was below average, fine if you just want a quick pastry, but nothing to get excited about. Parking is secure and easy, but at $35 per night it does feel quite expensive. Overall, despite a few minor drawbacks, it’s a good option and I’d still consider staying again.

- Laurel (8/5): Very comfortable stay, perfect for two parents getting away for the weekend. - The beds were soo comfy, we absolutely loved them. The area was so nice as well, we were going to a show at the comedy club and it was very convenient. Also enjoyed a hike at Runyon Canyon and the breakfast buffet was perfect for us post hike. It would be great to see almond or oatmilk creamer options with the coffee bar though. the shower was nice but we had to call the front desk to figure out how to turn it on. the pool was beautiful but we didn't use it, we would have used a hot tub.

- Lars Klejnstrup (8/5): - Hotellet har en rigtig god og central beliggenhed med mange restauranter i nærheden. Poolområdet var meget indbydende med behagelige solsenge og en hyggelig atmosfære. Nemt at parkere med indgang direkte til hotellet. Nogle steder fremstod hotellet lidt slidt, og morgenmaden var på ingen måde noget særligt. Morgenmads restaurenten var desuden for lille i forhold til antallet af gæster. Der blev anvendt engangsservice, hvilket i sig selv er acceptabelt, men affaldsspanden var uhensigtsmæssigt placeret i et hjørne ved et bord, hvor andre sad og spiste morgenmad.

- Mikael (8/5): - Ligger ganska bra till i West Hollywood. Trevligt poolområde. Serviceinriktad och vänlig personal som gjorde det lilla extra hela tiden. Fina rum. Nyligen renoverat, så kändes fräscht. Ingenting var dåligt. Prisvärt. Men lite ovant med amerikansk stil på frukosten. Som europé var det lite ovant. Men gott.
