Viorica (7/5): Generally good, though room layout and noise could affect longer visits - Breakfast was a real highlight of our stay. There was an excellent choice of food, with a particularly good selection of cakes and patisserie. The coffee was very good, and the breakfast staff were consistently nice, polite and welcoming, which made the experience more enjoyable. A very strong start to the day. We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights. While the room initially appeared spacious, it wasn’t especially practical in daily use. The size was mainly due to the room being long and quite narrow, which limited how comfortably the space could be used. The headboards appeared to be improvised from bookcases and unfortunately one collapsed during our stay. The space between the beds was also quite tight, allowing only one person to pass through at a time. We had to rearrange the desk to access a socket for the kettle tray and some of the light fittings were moveable rather than fixed. In the bathroom, there wasn’t a shelf or surface to place toiletries, which made everyday routines less convenient for us. Noise was more noticeable than expected, especially over a week‑long stay. The walls were quite thin and we could hear neighbouring rooms. Being close to the first‑floor restaurant also meant early‑morning phone ringing, some noise from guests one evening and ongoing traffic noise from outside. Given the hotel’s distance from the historic center, we relied on public transport. During the first few days, the buses were not always reliable, were very busy in the evenings and not direct. We later used the tram, which worked better, although it still required around a 10‑minute walk. We could have requested a different room, but once unpacked we preferred not to move. Overall, while there were positive aspects to the stay, the room layout, noise levels and location made it less comfortable than we had hoped for a week‑long visit.

You don't see it on the pictures, but it is very old. The breakfast is basic, but ok. That's why the general rating I put is 3/10.

Adélaïde (10/5): Parfait - Hôtel très bien situé à moins de 2km de l’aéroport de Florence. Nous avons dormi à 4 dans la chambre sans avoir l’impression de se marcher dessus. Le personnel est très agréable. Nous avons été accueilli par une personne qui parlait français, ce qui a été un vrai plus pour nous. La chambre était propre avec une petite salle de bain/wc qui était très bien. Le restaurant au premier étage est extrêmement appréciable pour ne pas avoir à ressortir avant de prendre l’avion dans la nuit.

Nella dotazione doccia, ho visto solo lo shampo e avrei gradito un prodotto più specifico. A colazione avrei gradito anche dei formaggi in più oltre l'unico che era disponibile.

Le stanze risentono dell'età dello stabile. Il bagno non ha finestre e l'aspiratore non funziona. Ho fruito del ristorante interno per necessità ma non lo consiglierei, bassa qualità e quantità limitate. Parcheggio privato hotel limitato nel numero dei posti e difficile da raggiungere. L'hotel è su una strada ad alto scorrimento, vicino a ferrovia ed aeroporto per cui la notte si sentono comunque rumori che le finestre non riescono a filtrare.

Ayeshah (8/5): Provided you are in right room, good stay - Hotel staff add value to hotel as informative and friendly. I believe breakfast selection is better than other 4* hotels I've tried in other hotels in Tuscany. Hotel is 1-2 stops on tram from airport, from 15 minutes by bus/tram to city centre. Very spacious room, the original double was smaller but fine though TV signal not the best. Very comfortable bed. Tea tray and fridge. When we first checked in there was a intolerable drain smell (this smell reached to the top floor and even after a shower was noticeable). Staff explained this is noticeable on one side of the hotel and they did change our room. The original room we stayed in had bad water pressure from the shower and I think the shower head points the wrong direction - should be fixed to end not middle). As apparent in many Italian hotels, bathroom dated, the room we moved in was somewhat refurbished. It isn’t possible to open the window as this location is very noisy with traffic.
