- Emiko (10/5): - Many cafes and stores within walking distance. Easy access to several Metro stops which was very convenient. The desk staff was super helpful though the cleaning person unplugged my stuff and replaced towels even when I didn’t request new towels (by leaving them on the floor)

Maria was able to move us to the same kind of the room we had reserved. AC didn't work at both rooms, temperture stayed the same no matter how high we changed it to. There was a hallow aera on the one side of the mattress at our 2nd room. My husband managed to stay away from that area but still not comfortable.

I was surprised by the size of the room, and loved the amenities. I did not have breakfast at the hotel because I woke to the smell of an amazing bakery right next door. I will be back!

- Verified traveler (8/5): Do your homework… - It’s a nice hotel but I should have done more homework. If you are a family coming to see Louvre and Eiffel Tower is about a 25 min Uber ride. Also if you are used to Hilton or Marriott’s, this is not the place for you. Upon first arrival, I noticed graffiti on one or two buildings viewable from the hotel….i questioned the safety….but after staying for a few nights, fortunately had no issues and many people out at the restaurants etc at night. If I could do it over again, I would have stayed closer and at a property I know better

- Christopher (6/5): - I am writing to formally express our concerns regarding our recent stay at Le Grey Hotel from July 26 to July 31, 2025, in rooms 33 and 34. While we were initially excited about our stay at your esteemed four-star boutique hotel, unfortunately, several unresolved issues significantly impacted our comfort and overall experience. Room 33 – Air Conditioning and Ventilation Issues The air conditioning unit in Room 33 was non-functional throughout the entire stay, which made the room extremely uncomfortable, especially given the summer temperatures. In addition, the washroom ventilation system was also not operational, resulting in excessive humidity and stale air, making it difficult to breathe and relax in the space. Moreover, for two consecutive days, there was a strong foul odor emanating from the washroom area. We are unsure whether it originated from the drain or another source, but it was very unpleasant. Room 34 – Inadequate Cooling Room 34 had limited cool air output, which made it uncomfortable for the guests staying there as well. Although it was slightly better than Room 33, the temperature was still far from acceptable for a room advertised as air-conditioned. Response and Follow-Up We raised these issues daily with the hotel staff, who assured us that someone was working on resolving them. Le Grey Hotel is a quaint and clean hotel. Staff is always accommodating. Special thanks the night manager Uri was exceptional. He provided us with countless suggestions. We’ll be back in November.

The next morning I explained to the desk attendant that there was an issue. He said he would check on it. Unfortunately we were out all day and never received communication that they wouldn’t be able to fix it. I even called during the day and the person just gave our message to the other attendant. We found out at 5:00 pm and we had to leave for a show at 5:45 and still had to get ready. We were given 2 rooms instead of a suite but had to pack up and move our bags before we could get ready. This caused undo stress. They could have called and we would have returned early. Very disappointed as we paid for a suite.

We also enquired about taxi rates to airport and were not given a warning that taxis are impossible to come by during morning rush hour. Can’t totally blame the hotel for this, but they could have mentioned something.

The room was not big and not bright enough to my tastes but quiet as not giving on the road - however I could hear other rooms using their showers, it's not perfectly sound-proof but that's often the case in hotels. Pleasant and friendly hotel manager. Try to avoid place de Clichy, not a good crowd!
- David (10/5): THRILLED!!!! - Extremely tasty contemporary room design, (5th floor room with seated balcony farthest left from lift) very clean, excellent shower with tub, hot water fast and hot, bathrobes included, safe, small refrigerator, roomy space, elevator, free espresso any time in lobby (booked no breakfast) Very nice staff, and bad French or English no problem. We would return!!! Located in a great area, on a short 1-block street (so little through-traffic), 2 excellent restaurants just below, (great Italian and a smaller French one) and a late night open grocery at the end of street. 2 other restaurants on either corner are less fine and can be loud at night if the double-glass windows/doors are open...(but that can be anywhere). If you like walking (or use the 'Lime' scooters), you can cover so much from there!

A tip to the hotel: please include in your in-room details how to use the thermostat. I couldn't tell if it was on or off. Also the shower (lovely rainfall style, btw) had issues of not falling the right way and therefore spraying some of the area outside the shower.

The service was great and most of the staff spoke very good English which was a help to us. I have to be honest the rooms are a bit small something that we are not used to in the United States however they were very clean and very well-kept and decorated extremely well. The breakfast was a bit pricey for what was served so we were not so inclined after the first day. But overall it was an excellent hotel for the price.

- Qiushuang (2/5): - Avoid this hotel all possible if you can!! Worst ever hotel manager I have ever countered after traveling 30 countries and stayed 100+ hotels world wide. Tiny room: could even open two small luggage at the same time on the floor. Extremely small beds. My body size is very small, but still had the risk of falling down. Noise/vibration: when you sleep, you can feel small vibrations due to trains going through underground. Breakfast: except a little eggs and sausage, everything is cold. Elevator: broken!! You have to climb up and down stairs yourself sometimes. Check in: I asked if they could clean my room a bit earlier and check in just one hour earlier because my 73 year old mom health problem after traveling international long distance. Answer was NO, and they didn't want to listen to the detail reasons any more. Bottle Water: because I was not let checkin. I asked some bottles of water from front desk. They handed me some water from the storage room. They didn't tell me any fee and charged it. I tried to argue with the front desk and manager. But she had very bad attitude and became angry with me. I have never seen a four star hotel treating a Customer who spent 1400 euro in 5 days, with such a bad attitude.

The hotel is small but the staying was very comfortable; very quite, very friendly staff, in a nice area, full of good options for dinner in the close vicinity. It is also very convenient being close to 2 tube stations. The rooms are relatively small, but comfortable if you do not plan to spend a lot of time in it.

- Katherine (10/5): Beautiful little boutique hotel - We stayed at Le Grey Hotel on a recent family trip to Paris. It is a beautiful, cozy boutique hotel. The room is somewhat small, but what you might expect for Paris and it is modern, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The hotel itself is a short walk away from Moulin Rouge, which is an attraction on the Hop On, Hop Off tour bus package we purchased, making it easy to see the sights of the city while we were there. We very much enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel to others looking for a great spot to stay in Paris.
- ellen (8/5): Charming boutique hotel - Le Grey is a charming boutique hotel, decorated with an eye toward creative contemporary design. Our room was lovely. Only issue for us was location. We found it to be out of the way and not an easy walk to areas we were gravitating toward. But we have a hunch the owners really care about the property (it shows!) and have a real interest in design and efficient use of space. Breakfast very good. Staff lovely. For us location was only drawback.

- Paige (8/5): - Boutique Style hotel in great location! Easy walking distance to Montmatre and Shopping areas. Lots of cafe/restaurants in the area. We had an executive room- size of the room was large ( especially for Paris!) Styling of the room/decoration was as pictured on their website. My room had a small balcony with table/chair and a lovely view over the rooftops! Room was in need of some TLC. Paint peeling from the bathroom ceiling ( due to no exhaust fans and excess moisture), as well as many marks on the walls/doors (from luggage etc. ) Bathroom/Toilets could also do with some extra cleaning. Overall solid hotel choice for Paris!

We advise that you book there with no regret. Walking distance to moulin rouge and some great restaurants. Just nice stay, cool and beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful.
