• AS (4/5): Not recommended - Location Fridge Water Not nice view from classic room. There was no room for two people inside and at night there was terrible noise coming from the hotel unit/air conditioner outside. The rooms are not soundproofed, so you can hear noise and conversations of hotel guests at night. There was no privacy in toilet. There were no standard doors.

• Kathrina (10/5): Definitely my Paris go to hotel from now on - It’s everything you need if you’re travel, very good location 16mins walking distance to Cafe de Paix, Gallery Lafayette and Opera. Even just stepping out of the property there are a lot of resto, fast food and even cafe nearby. The staff were amazing, friendly. The rooms have its own characters, we have 4 rooms and all were different and the bathroom space is not bad and nice. Being in a big group is not easy by this hotel make our stay very comfortable. I have been to Paris many times and I think this will be my go to hotel in Paris

Aucun geste commercial de la part de l’ hôtel malheureusement même s’ils n’y étaient pour rien.

• Ugne (6/5): Clean room, very small but good for budget - cheap price, clean room I was made aware about the fact that there is no wifi on the property only on my arrival. There were some road works happening nearby, so i understand that it’s not hotels fault. But due to the roadworks, even my 4G mobile data was not loading and I was extremely frustrated. I had to change the hotel as no connection while you’re on business trip is really important to me.
• FREDERIC (2/5): Mauvais accueil et mauvais internet. - L’hôtel (4 étoiles soit disant) n’avait pas internet et le type de la réception pas du tout préparé au lieu de proposer une chambre d’hôtel dans l’un des 3 hôtels mercure présents dans un rayon de 300m a dit laconiquement qu’il faudrait utiliser son propre forfait. Donc mauvais service, mauvaises installations. Une vrai fraude pour un mercure 4 étoiles.

• Linda (8/5): Great location. - The location is great. The 9th arrondissement offers plenty of shops, eateries etceteras. Also, many of the city's landmarks can be reached on foot within 20 - 30 minutes. The bathrooms have sliding doors that do not close fully and therefore offer little privacy. That is not great, given the fact that the rooms are rather small. Furthermore, communication was not great. We had booked and paid for two dogs - no mention of size. When we arrived there was an issue with the size which then had to be discussed first. Also, we were overcharged initially which took me some time to clear up with the first staff member, then later I needed to clear up again with the second staff member then later again I needed to follow up from home. I feel that this is not something the guest needs to worry about. Also, some drinks had been billed to our room that we had never ordered. Having said all that, the staff members were all very friendly. We were even offered coffee to go upon checking out. I would absolutely come back the next time I am in Paris.

The hotel was clean except the corners of the stairs There were no drawers, the bedside tables didn't even have any. There was no shelving in the bathroom & no where to sit and do hair or makeup Had to live in our suitcases. At breakfast they could have had spare cutlery and there was nowhere to put the lids whilst getting hot food, which was only Luke warm. Breakfast is definitely not worth €18. Overall rooms very small.

• Luke (7/5): Pleasant stay, centrally located hotel and reasonable price given last minute booking. - The hotel was good, clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was excellent, very central easily walkable to most landmarks and transport. Some really nice cafe, bars and restaurants nearby. The breakfast was nice, lots on offer and always well stocked. There is cold, filtered water on offer at reception which is a nice touch before leaving for the day and arriving back for the night. The room size (the classic double - 403) for two people is very small (we struggled with both of our suitcases) the bathroom is also very small in fact the door was on a slide so didn’t close properly (as it wouldn’t have been able to open into the room) which meant as it didn’t close properly it wasn’t comfortable as a new couple staying for a restful, romantic weekend. Our room (403) faced building works directly opposite which was loud and dusty so we didn’t have a nice view and couldn’t have the windows open.

• Bruce (6/5): Not a 4 star experience - good location and friendly staff the single room was tiny. the breakfast buffet did not keep the scrambled eggs hot! On several occasions the bacon ran out long before the breakfast time was over. Dirty plates had gotten stacked where clean plates were supposed to be.

• Anna (1/5): Never again - nothing in particular -the toilet was dirty when we arrived -the bathroom door was not the size of the hole in the walls, so it could not be closed. since it was a sliding door, it had no stop, and was sliding randomly. One had to spend time to try to make it fit to the wall, which it didn’t anyways. -there were noises in the street on a Saturday (construction work) -we had to wait outside a long time before somebody came to open us the door at night. There is no reception desk. We queued 20 mins in chaos before having our room. -We complained with the staff, but despite being a 4 star expensive hotel, management is not there. We had to write an email that took ages to be answered. They proposed us a small discount in their next hotel. Seriously? I’ll never pay a cent to sleep in another hotel of this chain.
