Guest Reviews
- Jessica (5/5): - No ramp to go into hotel so lifted heavy luggage , gym separate from hotel. Rooms look old
- Sally (8/5): -
- Bethanie (7/5): Lovely clean hotel with helpful staff but not ideal if your room is on the main road - The property was clean and cozy and the staff were very helpful Our room was above the underground entrance so very noisy all night. They had clearly tried to help soundproof with the window cover but unfortunately we didn’t sleep much
- Elise (5/5): -
- Ian (10/5): Perfect - Very clean N/A
- Peter (9/5): -
- Nedved (6/5): - Central location close to mainline stations .
Accomodation comfortable and adequate. N/A.
- Chloe (8/5): -
- The-Trooper (9/5): -
- Karel (6/5): - Erg kleine kamers
- Leandro (8/5): -
- Isabella (7/5): Buono per 3 notti - La posizione, ad un passo dalla metro di Euston Non c’è la finestra
- Éric (8/5): -
- Robert (7/5): Great location. Pleasant Hotel. - Perfect location for me. Staff were welcoming and professional. Needs better window coverings to keep the early morning light from coming in.
- Gawley (8/5): Euston square hotel - Great location. Staff were accommodating. Breakfast was great Nothing. It ticked all the boxes
- Angela Yingying (7/5): Generally a convenient location especially close to Euston Station. - Good location and access to Euston Station. Reception staff was friendly and helpful when we arrived early in the morning. Room was a bit slanted so toilet door couldn’t be closed.
- te8xq084id (8/5): Stop over on the way to the Lakes. Also good access to Euston station and theater district - Clean, Spartan but we'll equipped rooms with everything needed for a short stay. Great location for exploring London
- Leyre (7/5): -
- Pauline (8/5): Had I got the room I booked it would have been excellent. The staff were helpful. - Good. Clean. Getting a double bed with a camp bed when I booked a twin room.
- Akea321 (10/5): Really good stylish hotel in perfect location - Simple and stylish room. The inside room was quiet and had a light tunnel so not completely enclosed.
Staff were welcoming and friendly.
Good value for money in great location.
- Michelle (8/5): Clean tidy great location - Good location Although you could tell the bed sheets were clean they were stained with was off putting
- Jusuoy (2/5): Bad experience - I got a bad impression already from the moment I arrived this hotel. I arrived quite late (11PM) but would still have expected the reception to be open. The door was locked, and no door bell or anything. Luckily the guy at the reception saw me and came out. He was friendly and check in was ok and I even got upgraded to a double room. But the dissapointment came when entering the room. The room was small and felt dirty/ old. I wanted to wash my face but the sink was too small. Went straight to bed but the bed was hard and uncomfortable, and too short for me (and I’m not even that tall!). Bed frame was really filthy too.
I struggled too lock the door from the inside, and it was really loud from the corridor. So when two men stopped right outside my door and stood there talking I didnt feel safe. Based on their conversation, I also got a bad vibe from the whole place…
I was supposed to sty two nights but ended up checking out one day earlier. Asked to get a receipt, and the staff told me they would send it by email but I did not get anything. Annoying. I will ask to get this hotel removed from our company portal, as this is not acceptable when travelling for work.
Only positive thing was breakfast! Had sourdough toast w/ avocado & eggs which was really good!
- Mary (9/5): -
- Kyle (10/5): -
- Virna (9/5): - I liked that everything was very clean and the location was great. I didn’t like that we were only given one key card to access the hotel and the room. There were two of us with different schedules in the city, and having only one card made our stay more difficult.
- Matt (10/5): -
- Alison (4/5): OK as was only 1 night but very functional accommodation and a bit depressing - Close to Euston station Low ceiling was oppressive. Sink didn’t drain well. Room was right on road and exceedingly noisy
- Graham (2/5): -
- Thorne (8/5): Good location ,stay was ok clean and tidy - Location Room small
- Mmcgurgan (7/5): Great location for euston - Location is great. I work across the road and got stuck bc of a tube strike. The hotel is very convenient. Beds are comfy Floor has cracks in it and I worried about catching my feet in them. I couldn't really sit easily on the toilet bc im 6 foot tall and my knees slammed into the shower. The room is designed too small, basically. Especially the toilet area
- Bobbi (5/5): - Good location and nice bar area Quite a small room and it was very loud, my room was opposite the lift and this disturbed me a few occasions through the night.
- Chris Buse (1/5): Disgusting - Nothing I didn't like the attitude of the staff and owners.
- ian7m (2/5): Avoid - Only bonus is the location is close to Euston station. Paid nearly £1,000 for 2 rooms for 2 nights.
Provided room 101 & 201. The large air conditioning system is directly outside the window which sounds like a plane is outside your room.
I asked to change room to which I was told
'we're aware of the problem with noise but we are full so unable to change rooms until tomorrow. The next day I went to reception to change rooms, only to be told we're sorry but we've booked the other rooms.
One morning I placed a message in their internal chat system via the tablet they provide. I asked for an ironing board + iron. After 15 minutes with no response I went to reception to ask. They stated one will be with you shortly. Another 25 minutes and 2 further trips to reception before I was provided one.
This is a circa £60 a night hotel and definitely not worth the value they're charging.
- Katie (3/5): Smelly and small. - The location was great and the receptionist who checked me in was great.
Also excluding the smell, the room looked very clean. The smell!! My room absolutely stank of sewage!
Unfortunately, as I was attending a work event, I quickly dropped my bags off and didn't return to my room until approx. 11pm to go straight to bed. This is when I really noticed the smell.
I was tempted to call to get my room changed but it was so late, I really needed to go to sleep so I ended up plugging my nose!
Also the window blind doesn't sit flush to the wall so the sun was shining directly on the top half of the bed from 5ish onwards. Luckily I had an eye mask but if I hadn't it would have been terrible!
Other things to note is that the bathroom is tiny. You can tell theyve tried to fit in as many rooms as possible into the hotel. I am 5"7 and if I sit on the loo, my knees touch the window of the shower. If you are any bigger than I am, you would struggle.
- Ian (1/5): -
- Joshua (9/5): A solid stay in a great location - Bed was comfy, plenty of tea and coffee, smart TV is always a bonus. Location is great literally next to Euston and a 10 minute walk to Tottenham court road you are basically just outside the center Lack of plug sockets, and one of the plugs wasn't working, the kettles wire was tiny so was awkward to use
- 1ntje (8/5): Nice stay - This hotel was better than expected for the price paid. The location is excellent, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The only downside was that the room was a little noisy. With better soundproofing, it would have been a nearly perfect stay. The room size was also very good for the price, especially in central London.
- amandine (8/5): Bon emplacement - Proximité des transports et du centre
Hôtel propre et chambre récente Store au fenêtre qui ne permet pas d’être complètement dans le noir pour dormir, dommage quand le soleil se lève à 6h
- Dean Whittaker (10/5): 1 night stay - Location staff and room
- Wileman (6/5): Ok for a 3star hotel in a good location in London. - Location Needs some TLC to the bathroom room 107. Room was very noisy from the traffic. Could do with some extra glazing.
- Kerry (8/5): -
- Trevor (6/5): - Location was perfect. Breakfast was £21 for a continental each. Declined.
Hotel too compact: reception area small & crowded: rooms tiny for a couple, with toilets behind glass.
- Michael (7/5): Good stay close to Euston Station - Comfortable bed so had a good sleep. Room was compact but well apportioned, with tea and coffee making facilities available. Shower was excellent. Blind didn't reach the bottom of the window which led to light getting in at 6am, which wasn't welcomed!
- Carmen (1/5): -
- EMMA (8/5): Extremely good value for location -
- aoifefahy84 (8/5): Great Location, Small Room - Location was excellent, with a tube station just around the corner. However the room was quite small, especially for two people so wouldn’t be ideal if you had a lot of luggage etc
- RK (9/5): -
- Hitoshi (8/5): -
- Roger (8/5): Confused by diff in price - Close to UCH as visiting there My sister and i booked through your website at the same time and the same room type, hers £97 mine £152 🤔🤷
- Steven (10/5): All good -
- kieran528 (4/5): Needs a deep clean - Decent enough location and staff pleasant enough but the standard and cleanliness of the rooms are extremely poor. First room (004) on the ground floor had a stench of damp so had to request a room change. Reception immediately changed rooms which was great but would have been an issue had they been fully booked. Second room (220) was very small and tight but fine. Zero storage space and a tiny worktop but not really anywhere to put anything barring a couple of too low wall hooks over the kettle which were unusable. Bathroom is basically in the room behind a screen so naturally still smells damp. The biggest issue was the cleanliness of the bathroom. Window sill rotten and not cleaned as it was out of sight. Shower head sprayed everywhere (shower was shut but bathroom door open) into the room and all over the floor and desk, soaking belongings. The shower tray and door runners are filthy. Absolutely filthy. Thick black gunk. Just needs a full deep clean as a minimum.
- Bernie (8/5): -
- Jessica (6/5): Convenient if the hotel is a bit cramped and tired - But old and tired but comfortable enough Location
- Campbell (9/5): - Central location near Euston, Euston Square Gardens and Warren Street station. Perfect for commuting around London. Bathroom felt small and cramped. Sink especially was very small and difficult to use to shave, wash face etc.
- Gary (9/5): - Location to Euston was very good and the hotel is situated next to Euston Square Tube Station and across from Warren Street Tube Station giving excellent access to all areas. Plenty of local options for eating. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast available. Although the room was clean and comfortable it was on the small side. Ideal for a couple of nights but might not suit everyone if staying longer.
- corinne (8/5): Hôtel de charme dans un quartier central et facile d'accès - Chambre petite mais décorée avec goût, salle de bain jolie et fonctionnelle. Bonne literie. Calme
- gevans513893 (8/5): Pleasant experience. - Perfect hotel for short break. Very near to Euston station with plenty of options to eat locally.
Situated next to Euston Square tube station and across from Warren Street tube station for easy access to rest of central London.
- Kate (9/5): - Excellent location. Easy walk to Euston and plenty of local options for dining. Room was lovely and clean but would be a little bit small if looking to stay for more than a couple of nights.
- Cooper (9/5): -
- Daniel (10/5): - Room, staff and hotel Didn't realise it was opposite the hospital A&E
- Alison (4/5): Would not stay again as the negatives outwayed the positive. - Location was great for the tube and station Beds were very uncomfortable mattress was hard and bed squeaked not great.Had an awful nights sleep.Very noisy room opposite lift.
- stevenrichardt (6/5): Football weekend - Stayed here for 2 nights .Excellent location but rooms very small ,No were to hang clothes or coats just a tiny rail with some coat hangers. Pictures advertised make rooms look bigger would not stay here again
- Andrew (5/5): - Location near to station and main roads Room was windowless but smelt like a basement. Bathroom facilities not great with see through privacy glass.
- Steven Tester (4/5): - Location Rooms very small no storage space for clothes and coats
- Jim (10/5): - Location perfect, staff friendly, room very clean Everything was excellent
- Olivia (10/5): Top location, friendly staff, for few demands top. That's what the price performance is right for me. - Very centrally located, uncomplicated check-in and checkout.
Very courteous and nice staff. Incl. Restaurant and bar and can also be booked a very balanced breakfast with small buffet. The room for short overnight stay intended for longer stay, rather noisy and small. Nevertheless, the equipment convinced me. Rather something is running but I was aware of that, as it is in a busy area. But also in the room you could hear the lift or something similar.
- Neil (10/5): The hotel was great great breakfast comfortable bed staff were. friendly and helpful - The breakfast was excellent plenty of food the bed was so comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful and very clean Nothing I did not like everything good
- Ingeborg (6/5): -
- Mark (8/5): A good location for train access with professional staff - Spacious shower! Comfortable bed. Quiet inside room. Close to tube and train stations. No closet, limited space.
- Carl (9/5): -
- Omojeme (8/5): - The rooms were small but clean. The staff were ok The meals are quite pricy but this is London, I guess. The lift was sometimes temperamental, but I only had to use the stairs once.
- Amanda (7/5): ideal location for transport - location of hotel noise from street
- Ellie (1/5): Terrible. - The only positive about this hotel is the location. The rooms are not soundproof at all, so I barely slept for the 2 nights I stayed here. The bathroom was filled with black mould and the floor in the bathroom honestly felt like it could collapse at any given moment. I did not enjoy my stay, it was quite frankly a waste of money, and I will not be back.
- Ernest (7/5): - Breakfast was excellent poor shower area smells badly Shower area
- CAPARRINI (10/5): -
- AMANDINE (10/5): - Parfait
Très propre
- K7461UHGuy (2/5): Non-accessible, avoid booking if you are a wheelchair user - We were booked into the Euston Square Hotel for 4 days while a family member underwent hospital treatment, due to their illness they are a wheelchair user.
On arriving at the hotel we could not get their stair-lift to operate, when we queried this with reception we were told that it was broken, that no support or alternative was available for use, and that we would need to speak with the duty manager in the morning. The wheelchair user had to be semi-carried up a set of stairs.
In the morning, we asked what the timescale was for repairing the stair-lift and the response was that they did not have one. We asked what alternative accessibility adjustments they intended to provide and the answer was none, despite reminding them of their legal duty to ensure that reasonable adjustments are made to support disabled users.
The attitude of this hotel towards disabled users is appalling and unacceptable in modern society.
The interior doors are also non-operable by wheelchair users, as they require an able-bodied helper to hold them open while pushing a chair through. The single lift had gaps between the exterior door and floor, which caused wheelchair wheels to get stuck in it.
- James (9/5): Excellent Hotelier Experience - The staff made the experience - The staffing was excellent, can't fault them enough for the help and support with the optional extra of keeping the luggage stowed until check in time. The care and dedication was definitely there for the guests.
The room and amenities with the upgraded room were a lot better than anticipated, washroom and shower was clean and worked properly.
The staff, bar area, lounge area were above expectations. Their understanding of the local area was also very helpful to plan our trip. It was a very pleasant stay compared to most other hotels in the area. You pay a bit extra for the price but its worth it. Some of the flooring was coming up in the room near the bed and needed a little bit of care. Minor maintenance issues around the floor paneling. Not an issue for us and minor, however the creak was noticable.
- Mounir (7/5): -
- GERARD (9/5): Staff were really helpful - Location was great near underground station
- W6047SUchiarac (10/5): A Warm Welcome and Outstanding Hospitality - A great stay thanks to the incredibly kind and welcoming staff, especially the friendly receptionist; the hotel’s convenient location and delicious food made the experience even better.
- Furkan Mert (8/5): -
- Lee (6/5): it’s ok but not brilliant - it’s a good location for tune and train room feels very basic
- Mustafa (9/5): -
- Andrew (5/5): Adequate - Tooooo noisy Too noisy, uncomfortable, poor facilities
- David (6/5): Convenient location to stay at start of holiday - Nice welcome. Good location for transport.
- William (10/5): Weekend stay.. - I've stayed at this hotel a number of times over the year, mainly for location and ease when travelling back home..I found the beds very comfortable from other hotels.. There is nothing to dislike ... the current refurbishment now has basement rooms, which are very quiet..
- Merian (7/5): Oké - Vriendelijk personnel en centrale locatie. Schimmel in de douche en raamkozijnen, erg vochtig in de kamer.
- Anne (10/5): Super little hotel - It was convenient for Euston, the room was as advertised and clean. The staff were friendly and efficient. Check in and out was easy I wish I’d booked an extra night
- Kamaraj (8/5): -
- Liam (1/5): -
- Patricia (5/5): - Convenient Rather basic
- Francesca (4/5): Fine but ground floor room was too noisy. Dustbin lorries, drilling, delivery vans from 5am - - checkin was quick location was super super noisy - not well sound insulated room
- Rob (7/5): -
- Malin (2/5): -
- Diana (8/5): Very good lovely friendly staff - N/A N/A
