- scmooze (10/5): Fabulous Stay- Absolutely Recommend - We just returned from 8 nights at this fabulous hotel. This is a wonderful Belmond property with a low key but classy vibe in a great neighborhood. You have 2 tube stops nearby along with Pavillion Road shops and restaurants plus the Sloan Square and Kings Road businesses. Harrods is also a quick walk. Definitely don’t skip a visit to the private garden across the street. We stayed in a deluxe junior suite which had a beautiful bathroom. Reviews have mentioned that regular rooms may have tight space. The service is incredible and you feel both professionalism and warmth from the staff. We had a delicious dinner at Willetts. It’s an expensive stay but so are all the top hotels in London. I can’t wait to return to The Cadogan on my next London trip.

Reported the problem in the morning. To my surprise, problem not resolved by the second night. I was offered a change of room where heating worked. Upon check-out I was surprised to receive a bill of extras instead of a reduced bill. Amazing, but true.

- 573meril (10/5): Pure delight - The Cadogan is truly a luxury 5 star hotel. We have stayed in other Belmond locations before, and the Cadogan was exactly what you would anticipate from a Belmond. From the very first second you step in to the last moment when you leave, you feel at home, at peace, and that you have been taken care of at the highest level. First, I want to thank Anastasia, she was absolutely remarkable-- super professional and very kind! Also want to thank the entire concierge team-- the most knowledgeable and helpful. They answered all our questions, they organized our Pullman tour, and they gave us an amazing excursion of the Oscar Wilde suite. The location is wonderful, right in the heart of Chelsea. Guests have access to the Cadogan Place Gardens - two private gardens right across the street, with a children's playground, tennis/pickleball courts, and beautiful landscapes and flowers. This is something you don't see often at all, we enjoyed that so much! Our Junior Suite was impeccable! Very spacious, gorgeous bathrooms. One thing that was very special was the antique books in each room. We had a book from the 1750s, among some others! The restaurant/lounge was also beautiful, with very delicious breakfasts. The kitchen was very attentive towards my son's allergy, for which I'm really grateful! We can't recommend this hotel enough. Thank you to Russell Platt, who told us about the history of the Cadogan hotel-- a remarkable historical building! And thank you to his entire team! We had the most delightful experience and would definitely come back.

From the moment I arrived, the check-in experience was warm and genuinely welcoming — the staff made me feel at home right away. The room itself was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which was beautiful, cosy, and comfortable. The room was thoughtfully designed and very well equipped, with great attention to every detail. One detail we particularly loved was the selection of books in the suite, which reflects the hotel’s inspiration as a kind of elegant private library. It added a special charm to the atmosphere and made the space feel even more personal and inviting. Everything was very well maintained, and housekeeping was impeccable throughout our stay. The restaurant (Lounge) was excellent. It was always a pleasure to return to the hotel after a day exploring the city. The location is another highlight. The hotel is in the lovely neighborhood of Chelsea, which is elegant, calm, and pleasantly quiet. There are beautiful gardens just in front of the hotel, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed walking to Harrods, along King's Road, and to several restaurants nearby. There are also underground stations within an easy 10-minute walk, making it very convenient to explore the rest of London. Overall, it’s a beautiful area and truly a perfect hotel. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to spend our days in London.

- sarahmG4951WV (10/5): Impeccable Hospitality at the Cadogan - My husband and I recently stayed at the Cadogan for our ten year anniversary trip. Our entire stay was phenomenal start to finish. While the hotel is immaculate and designed beautifully, what stood out the most was the care and attentiveness of the Cadogan staff. Each member of the team was not only warm and professional, but genuinely interested in our trip and getting to know us. As an example, when they learned we were traveling without our two small children, they surprised us with small teddy bears to take home to our kids! This was such meaningful touch that we won’t forget. A few team members to highlight from our stay: Thomas at reception was ourstaning and incredibly helpful, he offered wonderful recommendations and greeted us warmly each day. Finn delivered our breakfast each morning with impeccable service. Spencer, the doorman, was equally fantastic. He both efficient with our bags and welcoming. The Cadogan made our anniversary feel truly special. We cannot wait to return with our children and family one day so they can experience this wonderful place with us!

The concierge service is beyond helpful, willing to reach out for whatever you need. The rooms are large and well stocked. We had delicious breakfasts with great service.

- CatalinaW (10/5): London Luxury Lover Found New Digs - I’ve gadded about London for decades and have stayed at a number of top-tier venues, my usual favorite over the last years being Oetker’s The Lanesborough in Knightsbridge at Hyde Park Corner. But my stay two weeks ago at The Cadogan Belmond in Chelsea seduced me entirely. It is a smaller locale of 67 keys yet offering bar, restaurants, spa, and stellar room service. The bulk of accommodations, as is true of the Lanesborough, are “cozy” and standard for London where rooms run small until you get into “suite” categories. But those accommodations are superlative, comfortably and fashionably furnished with all one could want, and the large bathrooms are extra very special. Concierge services are outstanding, staff everywhere gracious and competent. The neighborhood is delightful with a mix of lovely neighborhoods comprising residences, boutique shops, restaurants, cafes and sidewalk culture. Bookstores, churches, positively littered with green spaces and squares. The venue itself breathes grace and comfort, and is semi-affordable.

LOCATION: Perfect spot in Chelsea — quiet yet close to great restaurants, shops, and easy to get around London from here. A very convenient base. DESIGN: The hotel has been beautifully refurbished, marrying classic charm with modern comfort. I loved the original details incorporated in the modern design including all the literary touches and original artwork by British artists. ROOM: Our room was quiet, well-decorated, and extremely comfortable. Everything in the room felt fresh and high quality. Great lighting, nice furnishings, and luxurious touches. We are used to London hotel rooms feeling quite cramped and this felt spacious. SERVICE: Staff were attentive, professional, and kind at every turn — from check-in to room service to dining. They were very responsive and made you feel welcome. The concierge, Lee, was able to get us some coveted dinner reservations. RESTAURANTS: Breakfast was good and the bar/lounge area is cozy and elegant. GYM: The gym was not available during our stay.

- london_kiki26 (10/5): Fantastic afternoon tea - We had a really wonderful afternoon tea at The Cadogan Lounge. From the moment we arrived until we left it felt as if we were treated like royalty. The food was absolutely delicious - we loved the savoury sandwiches to start but the scones and pastries were show-stopping. They all tasted wonderful and were so plentiful we had to take some home. There was a great selection of teas and the tea timer was a lovely touch. When our server realised I have a sweet tooth he gave us some sugar sticks which I particularly enjoyed! My mum also got a birthday cake, which was very thoughtful. It was a great experience. It is definitely on the higher end of the afternoon tea offerings in London but worth every penny.

This is what you would like to experience at a genuine 5-star property: nothing is too much trouble. You feel very welcome and you get a direct calm feeling when entering. Beautiful modern stylish rooms, great staff, excellent concierge etcetera. This is where you are a guest and not a number. There are of course other great hotels in Londen and some that don't live up to it. But having stayed in the most of them this will be one at the top of our list. Normally I can always find some small thing to be critical about but not this time...,Can't wait to return in 2 weeks with the whole family.

- Tourer27 (10/5): Totally magnificent - We had been on the Orient Express to Venice so did have reasonable expectations as to how the hotel would be. But yes it was far better than we thought! Sometimes a four night stay in these top London hotels can be a bit much but we thoroughly enjoyed every minute and had a great laugh. Without exception everyone was relaxed and friendly. Visit the Physic Garden and the Cadogan Square Garden, try the Dover Sole and the various cocktails, gobble down some free sweets and raid the mini bar. Actually the attention to detail was faultless and shout-out to housekeeping who are mind-readers as our room was magically done just when we needed it. Basically this is the best Hotel in London and anywhere in England. Certainly didn’t need to rely on lots of sneezy Flower Show and In-Bloom entertainment to have a brilliant laugh. Thank you!

I was met with outstanding kindness and care from everyone, but in particular from Najwa. She calmed me down, reassured me, got me a glass of water, and spoke with me until I left. Her kindness to another stranger in need was not necessary, however seemed to come totally naturally to her, and I cannot thank her enough for this. - Melissa (10/5): Elegant and exceptional in a fabulous location. - Excellent staff, pristine and spacious accommodation. Very high-spec rooms with TONS of linens/ towels. Great welcoming touches for the child travelling in our party (a popcorn machine, a camera for capturing memories, pint-sized slippers & robe, cuddly toy etc). Had breakfasts each morning, as well as High Tea and it all was absolutely superb. Everything was top notch and I'll definitely come again. If I had to pick, perhaps the continental buffet at £40 per head was overpriced considering the selection was limited to just fruit and 4 different pastries (you even had to order yogurt separately), but hey - it's London and to be honest we just spent the extra £5 to get both the continental and cooked options anyway.
