You can hear everything around the room. No sound proof. Guests were noisy disrupting my sleep. Night staff was very welcoming and accommodating. On Sunday I woke up round about 10h45 at 11 I called reception telling them I’m getting dressed I need to pack up can I have a potter at 11h15. The lady simple said I’m suppose to check out at 11 and she dropped the call. Cleaning stuff was very friendly.

Refilwe (5/5): Good - The fact that we were told that all the stains are to be paid for in extra. We come to hotels to rest and not to be stressed about stains. What is the use of coming to a hotel when u have to fear for extra charges. There’s a gentleman at reception/ help desk who was so rude when we checked in. This was to a point where a gentleman who ushered us to the room stepped in and helped us with a what the gentleman was supposed to do to ensure the completion of the check in process. One gentleman at reception, I must say because other stuff members were kind and helpful. We checked in at around 15:30 on the 18th of May 2026 and occupied room 320.

A senhora do housekeeping era insistente, mesmo depois de pedir alguns minutos para sair. 3. A limpeza da WC deixou a desejar e o lavatório era muito curto. 4. cdco9 (8/5): A reasonably priced hotel with a great location and good facilities. - The room was excellent and very spacious, offering great comfort. Another major highlight was the shower, which was really good, complemented by the great amenities provided by the hotel. The reception staff lacked basic local knowledge. It felt like the roles were reversed and I knew more about the area than they did. When I asked for guidance on certain neighborhoods from our itinerary, the staff member—a skinny man wearing glasses (whose name I don't know)—simply stated he’d never heard of them, showing no willingness to assist. Furthermore, when asking for nightlife recommendations (bars or clubs) to go out with my wife, he had no information and made no effort to look it up or guide us. It was quite bizarre, as it’s the only hotel I’ve ever stayed at where the front desk knew nothing about the local area. Additionally, there is a pizzeria attached to the reception with a wood-fired oven. If you end up spending too much time in the lobby for any reason, your clothes will smell like smoke.

Porém tem que tomar cuidado durante a noite. Café da manhã bom. Quarto confortável. Para chegar ao quarto não tem elevador e tem escadas, e nosso quarto era longe. Tinhamos duas malas pesadas e não foi confortável levar e trazer. Era bem longe o quarto!
Pauline (6/5): Décevant - L'hôtel est bien situé dans un quartier sécurisé. Nous avons eu un accueil déplorable pour le check in, la personne n'était pas du tout agréable. Concernant l'hôtel, l'environnement est très froid dans les parties communes qui donnent sur des mini parking, sortir de sa chambre pour aller au restaurant requiert de tout traverser avec l'air qui rentre dans les couloirs... La première nuit impossible de dormir à cause du bruit des moteurs de climatisation qui sont sur le mur extérieur des chambres. La deuxième nuit les plombs ont sauté dans notre chambre ce qui nous a réveillé une seconde fois. Le petit déjeuner est passable: proposer du café soluble je n'ai jamais vu cela surtout pour un hôtel de ce standing, et pour des clients en demi pension même pas proposer un vrai café et dire que c'est en supplément c'est très moyen... La piscine est très mal exposée et donne sur le parking donc aucun intérêt.

Mention spéciale à Samuel, un monsieur d’une bienveillance exceptionnelle qui a contribué à rendre notre première expérience à Johannesburg très agréable. Helge (10/5): Ein sehr gutes Hotel bei einem fairen Preis. - Das Essen war super, das Hotel war sicher. Ich habe mich gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Der Jakuzzi war immer warm, obwohl es Herbst war. Man konnte die Skyline von Johannesburg sehen und das Hotel hat einen Generator, der auch sieben Mal angegangen ist. Das Hotel hatte nur Hanteln bis 20 kg im Fitnessstudio.

Breakfast was not what i expected, i requested a take-away as i was running late - they mixed baked beans, chicken livers and eggs in one container, it was a mess.. did not enjoy it. The restaurant was my lowlight - i went there after checking in for dinner, the staff was not that welcoming, took time to even order a drink, my meals took time to arrive and my chops were burnt, i told the waiter and he just dismissed me and did nothing about it, didn't even offer changing them. i didn't not finish my food coz i did not enjoy it at all. the waiter did not attend to me, i had to call him to bring me my bill which took 15 minutes to arrive and another 15 min waiting to make payment.
