• Fran (10/5): Great hotel, great, helpful, engaged, staff. One of my favorites - I stayed at the Alex (formerly Alexander, for years, from 2006 through 2016). It is an appreciably changed and improved hotel since my last stay. You can see much time and money has been spent to improve the facility, and it was money well spent. The lobby is inviting and a hub of activity, the guest rooms are larger, and modern, well-appointed with many amenities. The location is great, walking distance from Merrion Square, Trinity College, Stephens Green, Grafton Street and the Liffey River. This is a hotel I will stay at when I next visit

We were locked out/in the parking lot 3 times and watched another hotel guest experience the same difficulty we experienced as we left the parking lot. The ticket machine did not work. The barriers that open/close did not open or close and we were trapped between them on two different occasions during our 3 day stay. We had to wait for one of the hotel representatives to run down the street to help us because the call phone for assistance in the parking lot did not work.

Sengen var komfortabel og værelset var dejlig stort. Det lå i et roligt område kun 15 minutters gang fra centrum. Vi savnede morgenkåber og hjemmesko den aften, vi blev på hotellet og bestilte roomservice.

Not a huge hotel so wait for elevators was short. Luckily, we were able to check in early, a huge plus. Restaurant/bar area nice with a good menu. Lots of outlets available in the room, particularly by the bed. Minimal road noise, slept great. Plenty of pubs and restaurants a minute or 2 walk away. Tesco Express a 5 min walk. Overall, I would absolutely come here again!
