Damian (10/5): I couldn't fault the staff and the hotel - I have no hesitation in recommending Gran Barcino Hotel. - Beautiful room in the historic newly renovated extension. Immaculate. The reception staff went out of their way to assist with direction, taxis and talking about the historic roman ruins visible through the windows in the floor on the ground floor/breakfast room. Our three rooms were located next to each other which made it very easy for us to meet up and head out together.

The location was excellent—very convenient for exploring the city’s main attractions while still feeling comfortable and welcoming. The staff were professional, friendly, and always helpful with any questions or requests. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax after long sightseeing days. One of the highlights for me was how beautifully the Roman ruins were preserved and displayed within the property. It added such a unique historical character to the hotel and made the experience feel even more special. Overall, a very enjoyable experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona for both comfort and convenience.

ANGELIKI EIRINI (10/5): Σούπερ τοποθεσία - φανταστικό δωμάτιο! - Το δωμάτιο σούπερ άνετο, το μεγαλύτερο που έχουμε δει σε 4κλινο! Το μπάνιο άνετο και αυτό με όλα όσα χρειαζόμασταν. Επίσης με πόρτα που έκλεινε, γιατί έχουμε δει και πολλά περίεργα. Το δωμάτιο καθαριζόταν κάθε μέρα και γενικά όλοι οι χώροι ήταν προσεγμένοι και όμορφοι. Το προσωπικό της reception βοηθητικό πάντα και σε ότι και αν τους ζητήσαμε. Άμεσα φτιάχτηκε ένα θέμα που είχαμε με το internet και την τηλεόραση (το δωμάτιο έιχε 2!). Το πρωινό τίμιο. Όσο για την τοποθεσία, δεν έχω λόγια! Πίσω ακριβώς από τον Καθρεδικό ναό, πήγαινες παντού με τα πόδια, αλλά είχε ταξί ακριβώς δίπλα ή μετρό στα 100μ. Θα μπορούσαμε να βρούμε και άλλο ξενοδοχείο ελαφρώς πιο οικονομικό αλλά λύσαμε πολλά προβλήματα με την συγκεκριμένη επιλογή συν του ότι για λίγες μέρες μας βοήθησε να κάνουμε όσο περισσότερα πράγματα μπορούσαμε στην πόλη. Δεν ήταν πρόβλημα, αλλά θα μπορούσε το κρεβάτι να είναι διπλό και όχι δυο μονά. Για πρακτικούς λόγους καθαρίσματος φαντάζομαι, τα κρεβάτια μετακινούνταν εύκολα οπότε αν κάποιο παιδί ήθελε να κοιμηθεί μαζί μας το κενό άνοιγε και έπρεπε να προσέχουμε μην βρεθεί κανείς στο πάτωμε. It’s a perfect match between restored historic elements and modern luxury. The staff was super friendly and the location is also perfect. In terms of price vs quality one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at!

Christelle (8/5): Agréable - L’emplacement et le personnel Le bruit. Les cloisons sont très fines et on entend pas absolument tout. En été, l’utilisation de l’air conditionné devrait réduire légèrement le bruit mais ça reste un vrai problème. De plus, nos voisins de chambres étaient particulièrement bruyants Nous étions au 1er: on entend également bcp le bruit de la rue!

Helen (9/5): Excellent stay! - Hotel was great, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Location was great, breakfast was fantastic! Felt very safe and well looked after. It can be a little noisy as you are right in the centre but didn't cause us any problems!

MADAWI (10/5): Lovely hotel with exceptional staff, great comfort and location. - The staff were absolutely wonderful, so kind, welcoming and genuinely lovely. The location is perfect and makes everything very easy. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, everything was very clean, and I really liked that the room didn’t have carpet. The only downside was that it was quite noisy, which is expected given the very central and busy location.
