Kathleen (8/5): mooie en nette kamers, vriendelijk personeel. Eerder een hotel voor business reizigers. - de ligging tov St.Pancras is top - 10 min wandelen. Net om de hoek is metro Angel - zwarte lijn - verbinding naar St.Pancras / Kings'Cross de bar beschikt niet over een buitenterras en dat is jammer wanneer het mooi weer is. de bar binnen is nogal donker en weinig uitnodigend.

Le petit déjeuné est varié, il y en a pour tous les gouts. l'emplacement à proximité du métro et de la gare permet de visiter avec une facilité accrue pas grand chose à dire, quelques travaux en cours au sein de l'établissement mais d'une discrétion et exécution n'affectant en rien le service

George (8/5): Adequate for a short stay. - Lounge area, ambiance and service good especially as a couple of friends dropped in to see us . The red emergency cords in the disabled toilet and in the disabled room were not to standard ie they did not reach to the floor allowing a faller to activate.Perhaps all the disabled room toilets should be checked and fixed if necessary.

Susan (8/5): Great location, helpful staff, comfortable room. - The hotel was very responsive to requests by email made prior to my arrival. My daughter checked in first and when she decided our room was too noisy (Room 420, directly across from a lively pub), she called the front desk and they happily "upgraded" us and moved us to a larger, quieter room (Room 437). The room had all the usual amenities and was very comfortable, with particularly nice bed pillows. The location is EXCELLENT, in that it's just a few short blocks to the Angel station on the Tube Northern line, and also to a number of useful buses (both the 19 and 38 run straight into Central London). Everyone on staff, from bartenders to front desk to housekeeping to maintenance, was friendly, patient, and helpful. Two minor complaints: One, while the bed pillows were great, the mattress itself was a bit hard. I don't mind firm, but it could have been a tick softer. When I spoke to the front desk about this upon departure, they said that if I were to stay again, I could request a featherbed topper, which I will indeed do. Two, the bathroom could use a few more hooks for towels.

Wehbe (3/5): uncomfortable and exhausting. - When I arrived I asked for an upgrade (staying 3 nights, paying £800). The staff smiled and said "Sure, we will upgrade you.". She stuck me on the 5th floor, where they were old rooms and a *constant buzzing/ringing* sound from the fire alarm over my head giving me no sleep. I complained. They said they will move me but at the end of the day they changed their mind. They lied and said the sound was fixed which it wasn't. After I complained more, they took me to another room ont he 5th floor with the same ringing. Only after I insisted, they moved me to the 3rd floor, which is apparently more renovated and there was no buzzing/ringing sound at all. I don't think they should book anyone on the 5th floor, or put any guest in a room that they haven't checked. We are coming there to sleep and to not get any sleep is truly the worst experience you can give someone. I should not have been there from the start. The room in the 3rd floor was much better and I was grateful for that, but I shouldn't have had to complain that much to get it changed.

NaomiJayne27 (8/5): Excellent location and incredibly comfortable room within a beautiful hotel. - Good selection overall for breakfast, as i would expect from a hotel like this. Reception staff were wonderful and very helpful. Executive lounge was nice and appreciate the free drinks at happy hour, Felt there could be more on the cooked options for breakfast - no mushrooms, and only weird, milky scrambled eggs (normal to see fried or poached as an additional option) The member of staff who seated us for breakfast was slightly confrontational - asked if we'd be paying for our breakfast and I said no, it was included with the room and her response was 'really'. We had an Executive room. Executive lounge - afternoon snack options were very limited, just a bag of nuts available.
