Would be great to have a warm spa (indoors or outdoors ) that has some kid free time. Fun for a family, but difficult to use for others when lots of kids are in there.

There is a separate heated pool but it is not available to under 18s which meant all families with kids were crammed in a tiny outdoor hot tub. You have to go into over 18s area to get towels which they insist on signing you in for. I paid for a full buffet breakfast for me and a child, they would only give us one barista drink either a hot chocolate for her or coffee for me on basis its only one Barnstaple drink for a full buffet. Not sure what that even means when youre paying for a child. Music went on loudly till late. We paid over $520 per night plus $45 parking per night. All in all not worth it given other options.

Ell (8/5): Lovely modern boutique hotel; lovely staff and great food. Some street noise disrupted sleep. - We loved the fittings and bright aesthetic. Staff were lovely, particularly the staff at the Sands on level 3 at dinner and breakfast. It wasn’t the responsibility of the hotel. It’s just the loud car activity around the streets. The glass is quite good at filtering most noise but can’t completely block street sounds.

Even the inside bars had electronic dance music blasting. Not relaxing at all. No where to sit by the pool because they had opened it to the public. The Live DJ was blasting by the pool and at 4pm the customers were all drunk. We were told by reception we didn't need to reserve a spot by the pool but then there was no where available to sit/lounge/perch.

Food was amazing, breakfast and at the bar. Rooms were clean and staff at reception were great. The bed was huge and so comfortable, the view was outstanding. Music and vibes brilliant 🤩 Brighton was like a resort, so much to do offering you a fantastic time. I actually thought I was on a Greek island. I would definitely go back if the prices a touch cheaper. I didn’t want to leave 😔 Room service was slow and pricey. For the price we paid I thought the room could have been larger plus the balcony. Bathroom looked bigger in the photos. All in all though that’s it.

This hotel has been placed as our new favourite location to stay! The rooms were spotless, and can I just say the renovations are luxurious. Nothing ! It was perfect.

Carlie (8/5): Beautiful Hotel - Terrible stay. Expensive, Loud at night, Restaurant & Facilities overrun by locals wanting to part - Beautiful property, comfy beds, good facilities. Unfortunately ruined by catering to those not staying here Was there to attend a conference which means early mornings and long days. We were told when we arrived during summer they hold parties every Friday - Sunday night. Was told the volume gets turned down around 10pm, it didn’t until 12:30pm. Was told being on the 12th floor I wouldn’t hear it. That was wrong, it was so loud I asked to switch rooms to the other side of the building. Which meant a downgrade in room. The inside restaurant also becomes unbearably loud from 5 or 6pm, can’t have dinner inside and hold a conversation. Catering to outside people coming in to party. The cost to stay there you would think guests take priority over a pool party & outside guests. Not the case. When using the inside facilities we spoke to someone who goes there frequently just to use the facilities because they live close by. They were jumping in/out of pools, following us to the sauna - putting excessive amounts of water on then leaving immediately. People letting their kids splash around in the spa after arriving after those in there. Completely inconsiderate people who weren’t paying to stay again being catered to. Also had an issue with a staff member enter my room without knocking. The manager on duty the next day handled things perfectly, accommodated my room change with ease & spoke to the staff ensuring they would be trained better. She was very professional & a saving grace to the hotel. My review would have been far worse if not for her. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. Unfortunately the scene they have catered to is those coming to party, not those spending $500/night to actually stay at the hotel. Very disappointing

Mark (6/5): Comfortable but for the price of a high-end hotel, not worth the money. - For the price, the room was old and not as clean as I would expect. Room decor was old and didnt make good use of the small space. Was also a little grubby with stains in the bath and on the bedside tables

My cards to access my room and the lift often did not work and I had to go to reception multiple times to get them 'fixed'. A cleaner walked into my room without knocking while I was in the bath. corine (5/5): Goede ligging als je dichtbij de luchthaven een hotel zoekt , verwacht geen gezellig , rustig hotel - ligging dichtbij luchthaven en ook bij een strand In het gerenommeerde restaurant Ammos was het enorm druk ,veel lawaai , totaal niet gezellig . Ook in de ontbijtruimte zeer lawaaierig . We hadden een mooie , dure kamer besteld met zicht op het stand , echter was er to 1 uur luide muziek . Er was geen flexibiliteit van het personeel , alhoewel de meeste wel vriendelijk waren .

Rooms clean and contemporary Pool area was great and refreshing how family friendly it was too Although the rooms were lovely the windows I believe are only single glazed. This meant that noise from the road etc was quite loud

Salih (10/5): I think I will go there again some time in the future. It is only 10 to 15 minutes to the airport 30 minutes away from - The design , facilities and service was all the package. I had a delayed flight back to Melbourne until afternoon next day and I wanted to use a beach as well I found this amazing place. The right opposite ! . I loved it

Anna (6/5): Disappointed by the lifts, slow bar service and cleanliness of outdoor pool area. Our room and view was lovely. The hote - The room was very nice. Well decorated and comfortable. The indoor pool was nice: quieter and clean. The lifts weren’t working properly. We had to try 4 different sets of lifts to get to the lobby. Stairs weren’t visible. Lifts were persistently out of order or slow for our entire stay and we had to use service lifts multiple times. The service at the Sands Bar was very slow, for drinks and food. We couldn’t order drinks from the outdoor pool area. The outdoor pool area was not clean for our entire stay. Even when it opened first thing in the morning. The floors hadn’t been wiped down clean from the day before. Most of the sun lounges were visibly dirty and stained. The noise from the pool party was very prominent in our room.
Victoria (5/5): - Too crowded by the pool making it impossible to secure a daybed. I wondered if extended family members were entering the facilities. The pool isn’t heated. The restaurant Ammos is aesthetically pleasing with good food but management needs to manage patrons better and be proactive. We were seated next to a group of approx 8 intoxicated women who were screaming and laughing so loudly that my husband and I were having trouble hearing and enjoying the venue. We were at the 5.45pm sitting with our son and other families nearby.

Angela (8/5): our stay was good. - the room was very good position over the pools, with a great view of the beach and city airport. the location for very good for the function that we where atending. the couch was wet and could not sit on it until it got dried and the car parking we believe was expensive considering we where staing at the hotel.
Azfar (5/5): Average - The location is great. On a cold day the outdoor pool is terrible with kids. They don’t let you use the indoor one with kids, it’s adults only. Very old pool and facilities but has been renovated. It’s also very loud from the music from the bar down near the pool if you book a room with a view. Not the best place to stay with kids

Possibly the balcony could have been cleaner and the swimming pool towels a bit bigger otherwise everything was fine

Carpet not vacuumed prior to arrival (crumbs all over carpet), dirty/blood soaked bandaid on lounge cushion, booked for 5 people (2 adults, 3 children) only had 4 towels in bathroom, balcony was not clean, hand basin not clean (I easily wiped away the mess), nothing supplied in bar fridge, nor snacks.
