• Ute (1/5): Massiv getäuscht - Vollrenovierung ohne Mitteilung - Ich kann aktuell nur dringend davon abraten, dieses Hotel zu buchen. Während meines Aufenthalts im April 2026 befand sich das gesamte Hotel praktisch in einer massiven Baustelle. Das Gebäude war vollständig mit Gerüsten und Bauplanen verhüllt, rund um das Hotel sowie direkt im Gebäude fanden umfangreiche Renovierungsarbeiten statt. Den ganzen Tag über gab es extremen Baulärm – Presslufthämmer, Bohren, Hämmern und permanente Baustellengeräusche, teilweise auch samstags. An Erholung oder Schlaf war kaum zu denken. Besonders enttäuschend: Über diese massiven Einschränkungen wurde vor der Buchung in keiner Weise transparent informiert. Einer der Hauptgründe für meine Buchung war die beworbene Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die Hagia Sophia – diese Atmosphäre existierte aufgrund der Baustelle schlicht nicht. Ich habe mich bereits während meines Aufenthalts direkt beim Hotel beschwert und auf meine Schlafprobleme hingewiesen. Trotzdem gab es weder eine ernsthafte Lösung noch ein Entgegenkommen. Auch nach mehreren Beschwerden im Nachhinein reagierte das Hotel letztlich mit völliger Ignoranz. Selbst Booking.com konnte trotz wiederholter Kontaktaufnahme keine angemessene Lösung erreichen. Dass ein Hotel Gäste unter solchen Umständen empfängt, ohne sie vorab deutlich über die Situation zu informieren, halte ich für absolut unangemessen. Noch enttäuschender ist allerdings der Umgang mit berechtigter Kritik und Beschwerden. Ich schreibe diese Bewertung vor allem, um andere Reisende darauf aufmerksam zu machen und davor zu bewahren, aktuell unter falschen Erwartungen zu buchen.

• Farah (10/5): - Un hôtel absolument charmant, idéalement situé lorsque l'on souhaite visiter les différents édifices historiques de Sultanahmet sans avoir à perdre du temps dans les transports : tout se trouve à une dizaine de minutes à pieds. Le personnel était très aimable, toujours prêt à porter conseil, et nous à fait nous sentir vraiment à l'aise. La chambre était jolie et confortable, et la salle de petit déjeuner plus encore ! C'était un plaisir d'y commencer sa journée chaque matin, avec un buffet vraiment délicieux. On aurait aimé pouvoir y rester plus longtemps ! Rien... C'était parfait !

• Vishal (8/5): Friendly and lovely stay - Beautiful place, very well located if you're in Sultanahmet area of Istanbul. Short walk from the main sites. Very friendly staff that helped us out, when our room was facing some temporary maintenance works, they moved us to the bigger executive room for free which was fantastic. Really good breakfast too. There was ongoing maintenance works with scaffolding on the outside and loud works. We weren't notified that this would be happening before our stay. Understood that this was late minute from the hotel side, and they moved us to a quieter bigger room which made up for this.
• Jakimovski (10/5): A hidden gem in the heart of the city — traditional, charming, and flawless - We were absolutely thrilled with this hotel — it truly exceeded our expectations. The property is stunning, designed in a beautiful traditional style with every detail thoughtfully considered. Our room was lovely, featuring incredibly comfortable beds that made for a perfect night's rest. The food was excellent as well, with a good variety of options to choose from. The staff were exceptionally warm and always on hand to help with anything we needed — their hospitality made a real difference. The location is ideal: just a few minutes' walk from the Blue Mosque and right by a tram line that connects easily to all the other key spots in the city. We would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to return!

• DOMINGO (8/5): Buen alojamiento, pero ... - Buena ubicación y habitaciones amplias Habíamos reservado 2 habitaciones comunicadas, y nos dieron 2 habitaciones sin comunicar. Para compensar, las 2 habitaciones estaban muy bien, pero lo correcto es avisar antes (porque lo reservé con antelación), y no lo hicieron. Y un día estuvimos casi todo el día sin agua (por unas obras que estaban haciendo en el hotel), y las explicaciones fueron pobres y la única solución era que esperásemos a que se arreglara.

The staff were absolutely amazing they couldn’t do enough for you. Nothing was too much trouble. 😊 The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated, beds were a dream. The breakfast was so delicious and so much choice and kept beautifully clean. Thank you Nesia 😊 Unfortunately we turned up to the hotel which was covered in a green building protected covering. There was a lot of building work going on. Although we were very disappointed the staff made us very comfortable and welcomed the situation was out of their hands as this was something that the government needed done and there was very little warning to the hotel! Unfortunately we were unable to use the roof terrace or garden 😢 which I will assure you that very soon when the work is completed will be amazing.

The staff was super nice and welcoming and friendly and accommodating. The bathroom was roomy and efficient. Although the room was small, it was efficient and had plenty of table top surface areas to spread out and organize. The cafe was nice and multi-purpose. Good place to go hang out outside of the room. The location was excellent in a nice place of town. The windows were quiet and we slept well. Nothing really. I guess, the only thing is the building was undergoing some construction, so the front was covered in scaffolding and a large tarp, but besides ascetic appearance, the hotel experience was great. While we were there in the hotel, there was no noise or dust, so it mattered little to us.

W hotelu trwa remont.Główne wejście do obiektu totalnie zaśmiecone.Na balkonie ogrom śmieci, elementy niedziałającej klimatyzacji. Do późnych godzin wieczornych (20-21.00 )hałas uniemożliwiający jakikolwiek wypoczynek. Wydaje mi się,że goście o trwającym remoncie powinni zostać poinformowani przed przyjazdem.

Staff were extremely nice, friendly and helpful - Property is conveniently located and walkable distance to major attractions, cafes, restaurants and shops. The room was cozy and nicely furnished. Breakfast was really tasty and grand. The room was serviced every day without fail. The reception staff were extremely helpful. There was renovations/constructions going on on the floor just above where our room was. There was loud banging and drilling from morning till late evening everyday including weekend. This was quite annoying and disturbing for us. We could not rest comfortably in the room during the day. The construction work was not mentioned in the booking.com website when we booked. Had we known that construction is going on and noise will be there, we would not have booked at the hotel.
• Géraldine (3/5): Décevant . - L’emplacement est optimal pour visiter Sultanahmet. Il y avait des travaux très important : façades complètement recouverte et terrasse totalement inutilisable. Notre chambre avait vue sur les échafaudages et les jambes des ouvriers. Des travaux très sonores avaient lieu l’après midi et jusqu’au soir (fin à 20h). La direction ne nous avait pas prévenu, ce que je trouve anormal car nous avions réservé un hôtel avec terrasse pour pouvoir en profiter .

Micul dejun a fost foarte puțin diversificat, de bază aș spune. Hotelul este in reabilitare, iar 2 motive pentru care l-am ales au fost curtea interioara si posibilitatea de a lua micul dejun pe terasa, la ultimul etaj. Din cauza reabilitarii nu am putut folosi niciuna dintre ele - am intrebat inainte de a ajunge si ni s-a transmis ca este de asteptat ca lucrarile sa fie finalizate pana ajungem.

Unfortunately our stay coincided with an exterior renovation. Scaffolding and construction materials all around and on their usually wonderful roof top.

The breakfast is excellent—a Turkish breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options, including daily changes to some dishes. The front desk staff are also very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom are a bit outdated and could benefit from more frequent maintenance. That said, this was acceptable for us given the price, especially as we spent most of our time sightseeing. The exterior of the building is currently under construction, but during our stay the work only started after 10 am, so it did not affect us much.

The breakfast is really something, Turkish style and home made. Fresh fruits e some baklava! The location is very convenient, very close to the main attractions. Staff was very kind, polite and friendly. A loved the Hotel! They just need to improve de WiFi signal on the rooms. Everything was perfect.

• Kenneth (8/5): Fantastic location in Sultanahmet as a base to explore the big sights in Istanbul. - Fantastic location and very friendly desk staff. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast was simple but tasty. Not much - it was undergoing renovations (which were flagged before booking) and so the breakfast room was a little tight and the front was covered in scaffolding.
• Yary (7/5): Potenziale alto, ma alcuni aspetti da sistemare - Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per 4 notti prenotando 3 camere (2 triple e 1 matrimoniale). La struttura ha poche camere, il che la rende accogliente e familiare. Le camere erano spaziose, pulite e rifatte ogni giorno con cura. I letti erano abbastanza comodi e nel complesso il soggiorno è stato piacevole. La posizione è ottima: comoda per raggiungere i principali monumenti, circondata da ristoranti e con un minimarket a due passi, ma allo stesso tempo molto silenziosa. Molto buona la colazione, ricca e varia soprattutto nella parte salata, con alcune proposte che cambiavano quotidianamente. Nonostante qualche difficoltà organizzativa negli spazi, il personale della colazione è stato davvero attento e disponibile, cercando sempre di venire incontro alle esigenze di tutti. Anche il personale alla reception si è dimostrato molto gentile. Per scusarsi dei lavori di ristrutturazione esterni ci è stata inoltre offerta una bottiglia di vino, gesto apprezzato. Una delle tre camere presentava un odore sgradevole, probabilmente legato ai lavori di ristrutturazione nella zona esterna e in parte interna. Questo aspetto, a nostro avviso, avrebbe dovuto essere segnalato dopo la prenotazione. La sala colazione risultava troppo piccola e, con tutti gli ospiti presenti, si creava facilmente confusione. Inoltre, la parte dolce della colazione era piuttosto limitata. I cuscini erano troppo alti per i nostri gusti e le camere risultavano molto calde, nonostante il riscaldamento fosse spento. Infine, pur essendo presente l’ascensore, per raggiungerlo è necessario fare alcuni scalini (circa 8-10), che possono rappresentare un problema per alcune persone.

• FIONA (10/5): Great hotel with friendly staff, excellent breakfast and value for money . - This is in such a good location to walk to lots of the main sights and lots of restaurants nearby . There are also small shops open long hours , for snacks or beer or to buy more water close by . Our room was comfortable & cleaned every day - we were at the back of the hotel in a quiet room - so not much view but since there’s so much to see in Istanbul you don’t need a view! The breakfast is amazing - there’s loads on offer - and a lovely dining area -with an outdoor option , plus apparently a lovely rooftop for when it’s warmer . Nice smelling shower gel and shampoo too. And a bottle of water in the room on arrival which is replaced if you need it . The reception staff are all very friendly and so helpful if you need to know how to get somewhere . We had a lovely 5 night stay here , thank you to all at the hotel . There’s nothing to dislike , it’s very good.

• Oflagerty (10/5): Charming - Everything was wonderful, the staff, the breakfast, the location, the room (deluxe), the cleanliness... I absolutely recommend this hotel. There isn't anything negative to say. The street can be a bit noisy at times but it didn't bother me as I use earplugs to sleep.

Desde el primer momento fueron super atentos, atendieron a todas nuestras solicitudes y necesidades. El desayuno es típico de turquia y muy completo. La habitaci{on estaba muy limpia. Para estar al lado de las dos mezquitas (Santa Sofia y Azul) su precio es realmente bueno¡. La ubicación es INMEJORABLE. Y PARA ESTar tan céntrico es muy silencioso. Sin duda lo aconsejo y regresaría¡¡¡ todo bien¡¡

• Melinda (8/5): Charming location and hotel - I loved this hotel. Brilliant location and charming building. Restaurants at the doorstep. Overall it made me very happy to stay here. My room had been given to someone else on check in and it took some time to find a suitable equivalent room late at night. I chose a room when I booked as I needed a room with access to a lift and didn’t end up with this which was difficult with my baggage.

• Anatoliy Repryntsev (8/5): Everything is good, the price-quality ratio is justified, the accommodation is very good. - The location is great. All the holy shrines are literally a few dozen meters away. Breakfast is standard for hotels, nothing extraordinary, everything is good. It was very nice that there was a kettle, a tray and a cup in the room. The hotel has wonderful staff, kind, responsive and unobtrusive - 12 points out of 12! Soundproofing could be better, but this is a standard shortcoming of many hotels. Wooden doors to the rooms do not contribute to soundproofing.
• Liliya (10/5): Отличный номер: идеальная чистота и удобства на отлично! - Мне понравился завтрак, всё свежее, фрукты в декабре сочные, вкусные. Мы жили в семейном смежном номере. В номере было тепло, если прибавить отопление, то даже жарко, напор воды хороший, вода горячая, слив в порядке, номер очень чистый, также нам предоставили по запросу детскую кроватку. Персонал дружелюбный, рядом все достопримечательности. В общем нам всё понравилось, спасибо большое!
