• 241gwenh (10/5): A little jewel - I wish I could rate higher than 5. This is the perfect hotel in Paris. Only 15 rooms, a great location just behind the Louvre, with a warm and helpful staff. We were welcomed with champagne which set the tone for a perfect visit. The breakfasts were very good and tea was served in the lobby every afternoon. I truly hated to leave.
• Daydream12769168930 (10/5): Absolutely wonderful! - Beautiful hotel with a great view out of large fully opening windows. The bathroom is fully stocked with toiletries and there were even bath robes. There is a lift and air conditioning as well as afternoon tea. A plentiful breakfast is also available for a small charge
• Richard (8/5): - Location was terrific. Louvre was next door, and Notre Dame, Sainte Chaple, and the Orsee were within 20 mins walk. The Marias was also close by. The only drawback one of the receptionists (only one on duty at a time) was obviously sick so we didn't want to interact with her. One of our party's room had a loft - bed downstairs, toilet upstairs - not ideal for a senior., but they did change it after first night. Manager was great! The Elevator was TINY.

• Frances (10/5): Sweet place by the Louvre - The staff was wonderful. They assisted with restaurants, information, room needs and taxi. We were conveniently located across from the Louvre. It is a boutique feel hotel with a small lounge and cozy petite dejuner space where they will even make you an omelette aside from the wonderful croissant, eggs, yogurts, etc.
• G7299TJcatherinel (10/5): Exceptional service. - The staff was wonderful, particularly Merina. I had another accommodation fall through at the last minute and was frantically trying to find a place to stay. Merina could see how frazzled I was. She gave me a glass of champagne to calm me down, was kind and thoughtful, and searched for and found an adaptor for my electronics. The hotel is in a wonderful location, one block from the Seine, in a vibrant part of Paris.

• LachlanKan (6/5): Decent stay - We stayed here for 4 nights during our time in Paris. Firstly, the location is incredible, right near the Louvre and in the middle of multiple train stations, making it easy to get around. The hotel is very thin (tiny staircase & elevator); if you are claustrophobic, it is most likely not for you. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. For the room, our AC was not working for the first day, and they needed to fix it (and compensated us by providing breakfast for our stay). The bed was fantastic. The bathroom was very small. The breakfast was nice, but I wouldn't pay for it, basics with a few hot food items, bread, cereal etc. The hotel itself is in a side street across from the church. There is a homeless person living directly across from the hotel. Overall a decent stay, good value for money for location but don't expect to be blown away.

• bri11164 (8/5): Good hotel steps from Louvre - 60 yr old couple. Chose this hotel, which was on the back end of a river cruise, for its proximity to Louvre and Notre Dame and wasn't crazy expensive. Staff at front desk were excellent. Check in was easy on a Tuesday morning. No others checking in. Room not ready, held out bags. Had a honors bar/drink sitting area off the lobby. Also had a computer set up for use should you need it. Called my cell when room was ready. When we returned they had already put our bags in our room, nice! Typical European elevator for these type hotel. just fits 2 people. Room was decent. had everything you could want. bed comfortable. Bathroom very small in room we had on 2nd floor. I just barely fit in the small confined area where the toilet was located in the Bathroom. This room had a Tub/shower combo. be ware if you are older and have stability issues the tub is High to step into. they do have other bathroom configurations as the front desk staff mentioned at check in so be sure to check with them on this. Also tub has 1/2 glass wall as shower curtain so water gets everywhere. shower set up was good, hand held nozzle, good water pressure and hot water. sink area ok. decent lighting through the bathroom and room. no real 'view' at 2nd floor level as situated amongst other buildings of similar height. walking distant to Nrotre Dame and across street from Louvre. 3 blocks away from a happening neighborhood with bars and restaurants a plenty. all in with taxes was around 300 for the night. would recommend just be ware of bathroom configuration.

• ellensO7481GW (10/5): Wonderful cozy hotel, we'd stay there again in a heartbeat - Cozy hotel in the heart of Paris next door to the Louvre. You feel more like guests in a home than customers of a hotel. Everyone was warm, friendly and eager to please. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! The rooms were clean, well equipped, and honestly larger than I expected. The breakfast was outstanding as well. I will say partly in response to some of the more negative reviews: this is a small hotel. The hallways, stairs, and elevator are narrow. Keep that in mind if you have physical limitations. Otherwise, enjoy the charm of this wonderful hotel!

Right next door to the Louvre and easy, flat walking to most major sights as well as very close to the metro if walking isn’t your thing. Rooms are compact but exceptionally clean and wonderfully comfortable bed. Every single member of staff couldn’t be more friendly, polite or helpful. Really exceptional customer care from the whole team. Great buffet breakfast to set you up for the day and complimentary coffee and cake every afternoon when you return from your day of sight seeing. Paris hotels are expensive as you would imagine in a major city but Hotel Place de Louvre is a great price for the fabulous location and would definitely recommend to anyone wishing for a clean, comfortable and friendly stay in central Paris offering good value for your money.

• Claire (10/5): One night in Paris - Exceptionally warm and friendly welcome on arrival. Guided us directly to the lifts and showed us the availability of free tea/coffee/cake in the lobby and explained our room amenities. Room was wonderful - very well laid out and very comfortable. Staff on check out again were so helpful and couldn't do enough for us, helping us store our bags for a full day. We were only there for one night as a stop over but I will absolutely choose this hotel again in future as location, comfort and staff were outstanding.
• ADAM (10/5): Paris at its exquisite best! - The location was perfect for us to tackle our goal of seeing the Mona Lisa. The staff were amazingly friendly -almost to a fault. Always happy even thought the lift had broken and cases needed to be carried up to the fifth floor. Our room was quaint and ridiculously comfortable. The front desk team were so welcoming, so helpful, even understood my poor french! The breakfast in the cave of the basement was so cute! The fresh bread, rolls, cheeses meats and Juices were a delightful way to begin our Parisian exploits. Again - the service was first class. We will always stay here - the service team was outstanding - the proximity to Le Pont Neuf makes it perfectly located for trips on the Seine, visiting Notre Dame and shopping on La Rue de Rivoli.

The staff was amazing and though as a boutique hotel the space is European-small, the property was lovely and pristine clean.

• Ipa12333456 (4/5): Avoid this hotel and do not except room 503 - The hotel room pictures were clearly not taken from this hotel. Very disapointed with our room, which had a bathroom and an a weird loft for a table&chair up very uncomfortable, narrow and steep stairs. I wonder if those are even legal. The bathroom door did not close, it kept dragging on the floor and chipping. There was no shower, you had to shower by kneeling in a bathtub due to the fact that the bathroom was so low above the tub. The lift was out of order one day so we had to walk to up to the 5th floor. We had booked two rooms and the other room was clearly bigger. When mentioning these things to the manager she said our room gets clearly the most feedback (well, no wonder) and that we would get a different room on next stay. Obviously there will not be a next stay. The only good thing was the location.
• Luigina (6/5): - This felt more like a two star property. We weren’t greeted at the front, had to struggle with the door to get our bags in. There is a front desk and a small elevator plus a little sitting area. I really thought for what we paid that we may be in the wrong place. The room was incredibly small and it made me wish we rented an airbnb which we;ve done before in Paris and had a lot more space. The bathroom is even smaller and if you are tall, sitting on the toilet you will hit your knees on the tub. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone.
• Brian (10/5): Nice little hotel - I enjoy the coziness of a small hotel. This one is small, with probably only about 15-20 rooms. That means not a lot of staff, so you’ll see the same people often, and they’ll remember you. Yes, the elevator is laughable tiny. If you are two people with luggage, you’ll be making two trips. The rest of the time just take the stairs. I chose the “courtyard” view (there’s not an actual courtyard) because I chose this hotel for the location, not the view. Plus, it cuts down a lot on the street noise. Great staff, good breakfast (a little pricey, but that’s normal for hotel breakfast), excellent location next to the Louvre, a shopping center, lots of food, and near a metro station.

• 534maryp (10/5): Superb hotel. - This hotel is a gem. Like a previous reviewer, I did a lot of research on Paris hotels and couldn’t have chosen better for our four night stay. The location is superb and the staff very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and well appointed. There are free snacks and drinks in the lobby and coffee machines and kettles in the rooms. I will definitely stay here on future visits.
• O2834HYsusanr (10/5): Beautiful boutique hotel. - I cannot say enough about this hotel. I did a lot of research on hotels in Paris, and I kept coming back to this one. Our stay was absolutely amazing. The location is perfect, across from the Louvre. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The lobby has free water and ice, croissants. They have family games to borrow, and umbrellas for those romantic occasions of rainy Paris days. The rooms were lovely, very comfortable, quiet and roomy for a European hotel. Including a small bar fridge with water, Coke and a small wine and champagne, plus a tray of chips/crisps and a small Toblerone. The cleaning staff were exceptional, quick, thorough and efficient, never missed a single detail . We had a two room unit and the set up was perfect. There is a main door that leads to two full bedrooms. There is a menu for a breakfast for delivery to your room for a time of your choosing for the next morning (we didn’t use this service, so I cannot comment) which I thought was an amazing offering since there is no restaurant on site. There is also a computer and printer in the lobby, we didn’t need it, but good to know it was there if we did. We did eat at the cafe on the opposite side of the building, called Cafe du Arts facing the Siene and the world famous bouquinistes “green boxes” for unique shopping, also made this location spectacular. I will recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Paris. You will not be disappointed.
• Lester (8/5): - This hotel is within walking distance to the Louvre. There were also multiple restaurants a short walk away. The room was clean, but the sink needed some repair work since it would not drain. Our shower was upstairs and even though it was not a problem, we wish we had known before getting there. So going upstairs to shower was not a problem but into and out of the bath tub was.
• MaryAnn (10/5): - This Parisian hotel has been renovated nicely, although the elevator and stairs are small by American standards. It's safe, clean and reasonably priced, especially considering its spectacular location. Walk around the corner and stroll along the Seine. Every form of transportation is nearby - Metro, RER (direct to Disneyland Paris), even Bateaux Mouches river cruises. We will definitely be returning on our next trip.

• Experience752157 (8/5): Comfortable room, hotel in a great location 2 minutes walk from the river and Louvre - We had a bright cozy room with a side view of the Louvre. We liked waking up there 😊 The room is a good size for a city hotel , though the bathroom was quite small. The staff on reception throughout our stay were all friendly and very helpful. The honesty bar was not in operation at the time. It is 2 minutes walk from the Louvre, the river ( views of the Eiffel Tower) , Samaratain department store, and other high end shops close by. Notre Dame is about 15 mins walk.
• Yana (10/5): 3 nights stay - Amazing experience from the day I crossed the threshold of the hotel till the day I left it. All hotel employees were super nice, helpful and spoke great English. The room was very spacious with a lot options for the clothes storage and comfortable. A/C worked perfectly. Coffee and tea were always available in the room. Yummy pastries were offered in the lobby as well. I can’t wait to come back to this hotel one day

We were here for a business event (and spent one night for business in March as well) - and I only have good feedback to share. The staff was great and fast responding on any request, always with a smile on their face. The rooms were very clean and the ones with cathedral view are just fantastic. A small classy hotel, set up in the perfect location - central but yet quiet. Will definitely come back.

• ross (8/5): Clean, comfortable, and convenient - Room had view for church and louvre if you leaned over the window. Room is small but not bad for old city center type like this. Very convenient location for louvre and notre dame walking and two metro lines close. Bathroom is quite tight, and anyone plus size may not fit in the nook the toilet is in. Not entirely sure why this is 4star, no room service or restaurant, no iron in room but the desk did have one. Very pleasant, would stay again, but felt maybe more 3star+. Have to credit very clean, and felt well maintained
• 260kimberlyg (10/5): A Wonderful Stay! - I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is in close proximity to shopping, restaurants, and other tourist attractions as well as the metro and bus lines. The hotel was clean and very quaint. I had a lovely view of the church right outside my hotel room . While the room was a little bit on the small side, I had all the amenities that I needed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rates were a little bit higher due to the upcoming Olympics, but overall it was a good value for the money. I would definitely stay here again!

Rooms were super clean, staff was friendly annd helpful and had the amenities that I wanted and needed (WiFi, Water, Multiple Plug Outlets, Clean Bathrooms, Hot Water!, Great View). While small, rooms were comfortable and welcoming. Bed was great! Water temp in shower was AWESOME. Had a great stay!
• Joey (10/5): Walkable - Great little hotel. Rooms are not large, but are adequate. Within walking distance of so many nice sights. (We spent 7 nights and we walked 122km!)
• FernandoD583 (10/5): Location, Location, Staff!!! - Great place and staff!!! Close to shopping and metro!!! Clean! Complementary tea, coffee, pastries! Check square footage of room to make sure it's what you need and go for it!
• Fernando (8/5): - Excellent staff! Great location if you like to be in the middle of everything! This comes at a price of course, which is the tight quarters. We were in what they call a superior room, which sounds good, but it was very small, so check the square footage before you book.

• Travelgirl1133 (10/5): Lovely Lasting Memories - Loved this petit hotel! I traveled solo to Paris to celebrate my 60th birthday and could not have picked a better hotel. The location was everything excellent and the staff were so very kind. When I mentioned my birthday they delivered a lovely handwritten note and a sweet surprise. The room had a really nice view and was very clean and comfortable. Perfect size for. couple. I will stay here again, that is for sure. Please try the breakfast! It was excellent!!
• lynn_in_kokomo (10/5): Wonderful Stay - We had a great week at this hotel, we reserved 3 rooms for our group. The front desk personnel were so helpful. The location is excellent for site seeing and convenient access to the Metro.
• Richard (8/5): Great for couples - Brian and the staff were incredible hosts. The location was central to most of the typical attractions and trains. Only draw back was the small room size.
• Michele (10/5): - What a charming petite Hotel right beside the gothic Cathedral and the Louvre! Shopping and the river Seine! The bed was so excellent and the sheets a dream!!

• jacquelinem537 (10/5): Great staff and location - Traveled with my 10 year old daughter to visit Paris and go to a concert. The hotel was in a great location right next to the Louvre and the staff was always smiling and super helpful. Rooms were super clean and beds were comfy. It's a smaller boutique hotel so it doesn't have a ton of amenities but again the staff was super helpful with anything we needed. I felt it was a great value for the money and would stay there again.
• Tuko (10/5): Amazing stay - This hotel is at the very top of my list of hotels I have stayed in. The staff alone made our stay amazing. The location was perfect, the room was clean and had everything we needed, and the location was ideal for exploring Paris. I would return here in a heartbeat.
• Adrianne (10/5): - The location is near the Louvre. I was able to walk there in 20 minutes. Shopping and restaurants are very close to this hotel. The staff were wonderful. I would absolutely stay there again.
• DfromDallas (6/5): Tiny room across from the Louvre. April 2024 - Small hotel with tiny rooms but location to museum and two cafes was good. No AC in April so be prepared to open windows for cool air. Anyone with a slight disability would not be able to get in/out of the tub/shower without assistance. If you put luggage on floor you can't walk around the bed. No room in the closet to store the luggage. Breakfast was average buffet $22 per person - skip it and go to a cafe around the corner. Elevator will only hold one person with one luggage at a time. Be prepared to ask for a top sheet for the bed. Internet, water pressure & cleanliness were all good. Only saw one bug in bathroom. Would only recommend for couple or solo. We paid average $360 per night for our stay which I'm told is good for this area but I'm used to much bigger rooms for this price in the U.S.
• C3425CEdavidm (6/5): Upgrade what a joke - The bathroom situation in this room 502 was the worst setup I have ever seen the toilet is in a small room off the bedroom but the tub with no shower and the sink is upstairs and when I say upstairs I mean you have to climb a ladder they call stairs just to wash your hands after using the toilet downstairs
