• Robert (6/5): Disappointed and unlikely to return. - The location. Despite a face lift the Hotel was certainly not 4 star. It was a very basic room, very cramped and sparse. The lighting was poor - 3 table lamps. The bathroom, while tight was serviceable, especially as there was bath/shower. In our opinion, for the price, we felt it was not value for money.

It was quiet despite other streets being busy with restaurants and shops. The breakfast was delicious with many options too. I actually can’t think of anything I didn’t like. There is Metro/Rail access point within a 5 minute walk. Staff is very pleasant and attentive. Breakfast was very good. We will stay here again on our next trip to Paris.

• karenmI3838SF (10/5): Paris Latin Quarter Hospitality and Convenience - My 8-night stay was comfortable and convenient. The hotel is located in the Latin Quarter, on a pedestrian-only street directly across from the Church of Saint Severin. It was nice to open my room windows and listen to the church bells in the evening. Museums and monuments such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, Sainte Chapelle, the Louvre, tthe Musée d’Orsay, and the Panthéon were within walking distance. There are wonderful parks nearby. The Metro and RER have nearby stations. The hotel manager and concierges provide true hospitality and assistance with arranging transportation, restaurant reservations, and advice on attractions, with excellent knowledge of lesser-known museums and activities. As a solo female, I felt safe with the hotel’s attention to ensuring that only guests are allowed at the room levels and there is 24-hour desk management. With a nightly price in the $200’s, this 4-star hotel was a great value!

• Frank (9/5): Superb and would recommend to others. - We liked the quietness of the room and hotel and being so central was wonderful. The staff were so hospitable, friendly and helpful. Lots of lovely touches- greeted by smiling staff and a glass of champagne and help with our luggage. The breakfasts were excellent. Restaurant next door very good too. Clean towels every day with toiletries, coffee machine and bath robe. On our first morning there were no spare tables and had to eat our breakfast sitting on a settee which was uncomfortable. Also we had to ask the receiptionist how to operate the coffee machine and to learn the form for breakfast. We would also have liked a little more floor space in the bedroom but it was adequate and we got used to it. We will be back and next time we will choose a large room.

• faym577 (10/5): We walked all over Paris, the Pigalle area, the Champs Élysée, the Marais , le place de Concorde beaucoup d’endroits - My daughter and I stayed three days in this lovely elegant hotel. The staff were very welcoming and hospitable. We both wanted to practice our French and they accommodated us with humor and generosity.. The room was lovely, with a large bathroom, large, certainly by Parisian standards. The location was excellent as far as navigating the city by foot, everywhere was accessible. The breakfast which was included was first class. I would recommend the hotel to any couple visiting Paris.
• Christian (10/5): Perfect locale for the Heart and Soul of Paris in the 5th/6th in a great boutique hotel. - For hotels in foreign country, I always look for location, safety, cleanliness. The rest is a bonus. Hôtel Parc Saint-Séverin - Esprit de France hit all the marks. Love being in the 5e/6e area, so location is PERFECT. For conveniences, RER B and C and Metro are 2-3min walk away. Walk to Notre Dame and the Île, walk along the Seine, or to D'Orsay and Louvre area with just bit more effort. Dozens of places to eat and drink with all styles/types of price points within 5min walk. From fancy, to bistro, or Italian, French, Greek, Asian, Burgers or breakfast, Pubs, or night clubs, or crepes stands to McDonalds if want, It's the Quarter!! few small convenience shops too for grabbing sodas or water and fruit snacks nearby too. The Quarter can be loud and stays up late, but hotel is just off the main roads enough to keep it quiet. While i booked a single twin room so it knew it was going to be small, as a twin but also as Paris hotel rooms are generally smaller, it was perfect size for one. Very nice appointments, like comfy bed, high quality linens, very nice and clean upscale private bathroom with quality toiletries. Housekeeping was great, left a little printed poem on bed each day. Front desk FANTASTIC even with MY "ok" French. Great at check in, helpful and friendly for places to go, how to get to location, or just a friendly "how was your day" chat when coming back to the hotel. (seemed to treat all guest equally well whether speaking French (fluent or just trying), English, or other languages) Breakfast was good, with typical European continental plus type spread (some meats, cheeses, GREAT pastries, scrambled eggs and breakfast meats, fruit, yogurts, teas and fancy coffees, so great start to the day with friendly service. Would defiantly go back for stay next time in Paris. Was great. Things that people don't "like" probably aren't issues with hotel. Some things are just different in various countries so it's just a new experience and if know what you're going to get, it's fine. If you think it's going to be like "home" then you're not really experiencing a new place for what it is and may be disappointed but, to be honest, you might be missing the point of travelling if expect to be "like home". The differences and quirks are what make travel fun.

O Hotel Parc Saint Severin deixou saudades! - O café da manhã é ótimo, com tudo o que esperamos: frutas, cereais, queijos, sucos, pães e ainda podemos pedir ovos ou omelete que são feitos na hora. A localização é ótima, tudo perto, bistrôs, lojinhas, mercado e ao mesmo tempo é silencioso. A avaliação do quarto não é excelente, pq é um quarto pequeno, porém a cama é maravilhosa e o banheiro ótimo. Tudo limpo, roupa de cama ótima. A equipe do Hotel super atenciosa e gentil. Recomendamos o Hotel e retornaremos, com certeza! O quarto era um pouco pequeno, mas a cama era grande e muito confortável. O banheiro ótimo também, roupa de cama e banho limpas.
• Anthony-Phillips (10/5): Delightful Hotel in great location. - This is a delightful small hotel. We stayed here six years ago with friends who had stayed here many times. It is in a fantastic location in a very quiet corner just off Bvd. St Germain in The Latin Quarter, less than 10 minutes walk from Isle de la Cite and Notre Dame. Last time we had a large room but this time they were all booked so we had a "Superior" room. It was quite small - as is normal in Paris - but very well furnished, recently refurbished I would guess. Large comfortable bed. Spotless modern bathroom with shower over a bath. Tea making and Nespresso Coffee machine in the room. The staff are very helpful and friendly. There is no restaurant but breakfast is provided in the lounge area at tables. Breakfast is excellent with a good selection of cheeses, cold meats, fruit, cereals, Croissants, toast, pastries plus scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. It is very close to a couple of Metro Stations, taxi rank and very many good restaurants. Thoroughly recommended.

• Maya (10/5): Beautiful hotel, premium location, wonderful staff. - 10 out of 10! Highly recommend. It was my first time in Paris and I picked this hotel based on some reviews that I read. I feel so lucky to have found it. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. They let me check in early and offered to hold my bags when I was leaving. The room was very clean and everything in it felt luxurious. The room may seem a bit small for some but I loved it, it was cozy and comfortable. The location is key. Just steps from Notre Dame and next to restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries and the Shakespeare and Co. bookshop. I want to come back to Paris and when I do, I’m definitely staying again at the Hotel Parc Saint Severin.

Frukosten var mer kvalitet än kvantitet vilket är en fördel. Egentligen inget att klaga på. Hissen var lite trång, om man nu tvunget ska åka hiss.

• Alexis (10/5): Nuitée exceptionnelle au Parc Saint-Séverin, Nous recommanderons cet hôtel ! - Nous avons passé un super séjour à l’Hôtel du Parc Saint-Séverin grâce à toute l’équipe, toujours accueillante et disponible. L’emplacement est vraiment idéal, à quelques minutes à pied de la Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris, avec la magnifique Église Saint-Séverin juste en face. Il ne faut surtout pas la manquer. La réception nous a conseillé de très bons restaurants à proximité, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Un grand merci à Bernadette pour le petit déjeuner, varié et généreux, parfait pour bien commencer la journée. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
