• NNW (10/5): Adorable hotel in trendy neighborhood staffed by warm and helpful folks - We stayed here for a week in April. From the check in experience to the daily breakfasts, the staff was extremely warm but not intrusive. We had two rooms for our family of five, and each room was very well appointed and impeccably clean. The hotel itself oozes charm and understated charisma. It’s a cool place that I’m hesitant to write a good review, lest this place becomes too popular.

The rooms were fresh, beautiful, and very comfortable, and our balcony had the perfect morning sun — such a lovely way to start the day before heading out to explore Paris. The location is excellent, close to everything and with great metro connections, making it easy to get around the city. The hotel is also near Luxembourg Gardens, which made the fantastic breakfast even more special — we loved being able to bring it with us and enjoy it in the park. The service was truly top tier. Everyone was helpful, warm, and genuinely engaged, always asking if we needed anything. It really felt like being at home, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended, and we would happily stay here again.

Wir hatten ohne Frühstück gebucht damit wir in einen der Straßencafés frühstücken konnten, denn das ist für mich das besondere an Paris.

• martinbrechin (8/5): Slightly disappointing return to Le Six! - Just back from a four night stay at Hotel Le Six with my wife. We stayed previously (10 years ago) and were keen to return as last time we thought the hotel was fabulous. To be clear the hotel is still very good and it's probably a 4.5 rather than a 4 but it's definitely not the 5 out 5 experience we had previously. Whilst the hotel generally is in great shape (and there is now a small public bar which I don't recall being there previously!) the room we stayed in was looking a bit tired and in need of a refurb. The shower didn't work as it should and some of the furniture was a bit worn looking. The staff were all very friendly but were a bit thin on the ground. For example, often there was only one person covering the reception and the bar so when going to the bar for a drink we had to wait until the person on duty had dealt with the guests at the reception desk which could be quite some time. Two other minor issues. I had pre-ordered birthday balloons to be in our room when we arrived (it was my wife's 60th birthday) but they weren't there. Not a big deal but there were on the bill when we checked out. The item was of course removed from the bill when I mentioned but no apology was offered. Similarly, there was an erroneous item on our bill relating to drinks at the bar we didn't have. Once again, these were removed from the bill when I asked but no explanation was provided or apology offered. In summary, we would more than likely come back as the positives vastly outweigh the minor negatives but we didn't have the experience we had the first time round.

The staff is very friendly, and the rooms are spacious. The bed is large and comfortable, with effective blackout curtains. The room is of a high standard, and the shower is great. There is a good, fast elevator and we never had to wait. We will be happy to return to this hotel on our next visit to Paris nothing, it was great

• Mary Cay (8/5): Room location can make all the difference. - Staff was friendly and very helpful. We reserved a deluxe room on Booking and were given a first floor room facing the street and the small bistro across the street. The bistro was noisy at night during the week until 11:30 and the garbage trucks arrived most mornings at 7 am. In between those times it was quiet. Since it was March, the heat/AC was set to 20 C and only the fan speed could be individually controlled. So we opened the window at night and asked for and received a fan. We slept quietly and comfortably between midnight and 7 am. This was our only challenge. Staff was wonderful.

Prior to our trip the communication with the hotel was wonderful - and we were able to book the same room we had before - with the added bonus that it had been redecorated. • cboud (10/5): Cozy and intimate hotel - Three of us stayed in Hotel le Six for 5 days. The staff was constantly kind and helpful. Especially Mails and Charles. Our room was comfortable and very clean AND was made fresh every time we returned from touring Breakfast was delicious, fresh and had a good variety of offerings. I highly recommend this hotel. Also the room was quiet at night , even with the window open, a big bonus for me! 😘

• BrownsBoy22 (10/5): A great hotel with outstanding service in a superior location - This is a great hotel with outstanding service in a superior location in Paris. My wife and I stayed at Hotel Le Six for four nights and everything about our stay was perfect. The room (we had a suite) was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of items and the cappuccino was delicious. It's located on a bit of a 'side street' so there was little to no street/traffic noise which was nice too. It is located in the 6th district which makes it super easy to get to places like the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and there are tons of great restaurants within walking distance. I also want to offer special kudos to the front desk employee named Charles Bayonne. Charles helped us with Metro/travel directions, he pointed us to a number of outstanding places to dine, made us our nightcap cocktails at their bar, and overall was just a pleasure to work with. 5-stars for the entire experience, and our extra thanks to Charles and the entire staff at Le Six for making our stay comfortable and memorable. Highly recommend this hotel.

• wilycat4 (10/5): Fabulous hotel and location - A perfect stay! Great location near Luxembourg Gardens and an elegantly beautiful hotel. From check-in to checkout, all of the staff were friendly and courteous. The lobby bar is comfortable and welcoming. I enjoyed a free upgrade, a room with a sweet balcony. Great sleep! Charles was especially kind at checkout. Chez Marcel across the street is a lively and wonderful place for dinner. It was the perfect hotel for my visit with friends who live nearby. I hope I can return! Merci.
• sdsuzi (10/5): Another great stay! - This was not my first stay here and it won’t be the last. I arrived after a long trip and was met with warmth and hospitality by Charles who promptly got me checked in and directed to a fabulous nearby restaurant for my first night in Paris. Over the next six days, every staff member was delightful, the room well equipped, clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast room was immaculate, well serviced (sorry I didn’t catch his name) with delicious and varied options to start the day. The lobby atmosphere is cosy and inviting with a lovely bar area for a quiet drink after a day out. The hotel location is prime: quiet street, several excellent restaurants nearby, steps away from metro lines 4, 6, 12 and Montparnasse train station less than 10 minute walk. Will be returning to Paris in April and have already booked at Le Six. A special thank you to Charles and Maylise and see you soon!

• Caroline (8/5): Wonderful boutique hotel just needs a few tweaks to score a 10 - The location and boutique style of the hotel was wonderful. Lovely environment. The fitness room/ gym was a treadmill and very old bike in a corridor with a curtain. The spa/ wellness centre was not really accessible unless you booked a treatment. The staff in the restaurant were slightly rude and not not friendly.
• laV7514UD (10/5): Quite place close to everywhere with very friendly staff - I really like this hotel that tucked in a quite street and behind a Catholic church. It carves away all noise and buzz from the busy streets, and very peaceful and quiet. Staff here are extremely friendly especially Charles. I was assigned a lower level with no street view. I asked Charles whether he can accomodate a better room with a street view. He was very nice to lock in a room for me the next day, and also his colleagues brought all my luggages to the new room while I was having fun out. This room is definitely my dream room for my following three nights. I have not checked out, but I can forsee that I would have a good time in Paris. I will definitely come back to Hotel Le Six, a quite place but convenient and close to everything. Thank you, Charles and staff of Hotel Le Six. You made my day.

• Renata (10/5): Muito agradável! - Café da manhã muito gostoso, com itens franceses selecionados, como croissant, baguete, manteiga, geleia. Tudo muito gostoso. Os funcionários muito atenciosos. A limpeza dos apartamentos também era primorosa. A única coisa que tenho a falar é o tamanho do apartamento. Era bem pequeno, o que é comum em grandes cidades. Mas isso não afetou a nossa experiência.

• CarrieTheWanderer (10/5): Parisian Charm with Personal Touch - I very much enjoyed my stay at Hotel Le Six. The hotel is tucked away on a quiet street, yet the metro is right around the corner on both ends of the block, making it easy to get anywhere in Paris if you’re not in the mood for walking. From the moment we walked through the door, the staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming, doing everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. A young woman named Philippine greeted us with a smile, and our room was ready even though we arrived early in the morning—which was such a treat after a long flight! She was incredibly helpful and friendly, as was Charles and the rest of the staff. I also want to compliment Philippine and Charles on their espresso martinis—absolutely delicious! While the rooms are on the smaller side, they are very well designed, with shelves and extra storage that made a big difference. Breakfast was wonderful as well. We were there over New Year’s, and the hotel generously offered complimentary breakfast that morning, which was such a special touch. The food and juices were excellent quality, with a great variety of cheeses and even smoked salmon. One of the cheeses was especially memorable, and I only wish I had asked the friendly gentleman in the breakfast area what it was. I absolutely loved Paris, and the lovely people at this hotel were a big part of what made my trip so special. I can’t wait to return and see my friends at Hotel Le Six again. • Sarah (6/5): - L’emplacement Lors de l’enregistrement en ligne de mon check in j’ai demandé un balcon si possible arriver à l’hôtel On m’a dis qu’on m’avait surclasser et donner un balcon tel que demandé…. Cetait plus tôt une fenêtre et non un balcon et le surclassement on repassera j’ai vu les autres chambre de l’établissement et javais une chambre standard pas de balcon pourquoi m’avoir menti ? Aucun suclassment a été fait ici un la salle de bain était microscopique avec seulement une douche alors que les autres chambre avait bain et douche et un vrai balcon…
• Alison (8/5): Good boutique hotel in a convenient location - We were upgraded to a suite, which was a fantastic surprise. The room was very spacious and we really enjoyed that luxury. The shower was amazing, with Occitane products. The bedding was luxurious and the space was clean. We found a lot a good places to eat dinner nearby on the boulevard montparnasse. It was often quite cold. We had to turn up the temperature in the bedroom as there was no coverlet over the duvet. We would have appreciated some cream with our coffee. Also, some of our items weren't replenished, eg the coffee pods and a towel. We didn't try the breakfast as it's overpriced. There are nice places for breakfast around Saint Placide

• Melanie (8/5): - Die zentrale, aber ruhige Lage in einer Seitenstraße nördlich von Montparnasse hat uns gut gefallen, das Badezimmer war für Pariser Verhältnisse groß und komfortabel, das Frühstück sehr umfangreich. Unser Zimmer lag gegenüber des Aufzugs. Dieser war sehr laut und wir hatten das Gefühl, oberhalb einer Metrolinie zu wohnen.

• Sophie (10/5): Great location and staff! - The location of this hotel is amazing! On a quiet street but very close to areas with a lot of restaurants. Grocery store around the corner, and really close to the metro. The staff was SO helpful and nice. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone.

• F9983SGmayar (10/5): Parisian Dream - I had the best time ever in Paris with my very close friend. I adore this city and having a hotel so close to the centre was fantastic. The service was 200 out of 10 and more! The staff are extremely helpful and wanting to go out their way to help you. The room service was fantastic, breakfast, the balcony view. • riccardomN3904RX (10/5): Le Six makes Paris Perfect! - Paris in chilly November is just heaven! My husband, son, and I stayed at this quaint, warm, and Paris Perfect hotel, Le Six! The location was perfect for us in looking for a more "local" vibe in Saint Germain - 6th arr. We were able to walk the entire city from this hotel and took a cab to the soccer match, easy peasy and affordable! Now, about the team at Le Six - Charles was excellent! He welcomed us, checked us in, made sure our room was comfortable, and offered assistance as a friend would. We had such a lovely stay in Paris, and a big part of that was because of Charles and the other colleagues at Le Six!
• pcmb14 (10/5): Wonderful 5 night stay! - Just back from a wonderful stay with my adult daughter. We found Hotel Le Six all we hoped for. Excellent service. Great neighborhood without touristy feel. Lots of local shops and restaurants. Small lobby bar with sitting area to relax after long days of walking.Close to Metro and convenient Uber stop. Larger room with balcony and two separate beds. Very nice bath. Go for the breakfast. Very extensive and convenient way to start the day. I would highly recommend for a solo traveler too.
• Nicole Vic (9/5): Friendly staff, a cozy room, and a location that made exploring Paris easy. - We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were welcoming and helpful from the start. Our flight arrived early in the morning, well before check-in, but they let us store our luggage right away so we could explore the neighborhood. As soon as our room was ready, they checked us in and had already placed our bags inside, which was really thoughtful. The location is great. The neighborhood is lively but quiet, with plenty of good food nearby and easy access to several metro lines. Getting around Paris, including trips to places like Gare de l’Est, was very convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a good amount of space. The bed was especially comfortable, which made it easy to rest after long days out. The bathroom was clean and well equipped, and the provided slippers were a nice touch. We also found a note and a piece of chocolate in the room when we arrived, which made us feel welcomed. The small details were appreciated, like umbrellas available both in the room and in the lobby. The lobby and lounge areas also have a calm, cozy vibe where you can sit and relax. One thing to keep in mind is that hallway noise can be easy to hear from inside the room when people are talking or rolling their suitcases.

• 254alirezab (10/5): Nice hotel - I was very particular about choosing the right hotel for our stay, especially because it was my wife’s birthday and I wanted everything to be perfect. I spent a lot of time searching through different options on Google, and I’m truly happy that I chose this hotel. The property was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and located in a beautiful area. It was also conveniently close to bars, great restaurants, and everything we needed for a perfect stay. The reception team was outstanding—professional, warm, and always ready to help. I would like to give special thanks to Charles, who was incredibly kind and supportive throughout our stay. Their assistance made our experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return in the future.

• Ian (10/5): For a safe, quiet Paris location you can’t find better. - Great safe location. Numerous restaurants within 5 minutes. Metro close by. Very quiet. We are near the end of a 2 month train journey and this is our favourite hotel by far. Exceptional English speaking staff. Breakfast very good but not exceptional. Overcooked scrambled eggs.

• TMERIC (10/5): A gem in Paris!!! - Excellent location, 2 min walk to 2 main metro lines. Hotel and rooms are spotless clean, beautifully decorated without a carpet, and we had a beautiful French balcony, priceless for a morning coffee or an afternoon drink. Charles at reception was very professional, he understood our expectations and needs and assisted us with kindness and sense of humor. We will definitely stay again…

The little side street is quiet at night which is hugely important for me. Incredibly clean. Good breakfast space which you can use to work or read throughout the day. Staff are great.
