• Denizhan (7/5): The hotel's location is excellent, especially since it's very easy to get to the subway - Although the breakfast options were limited, they were sufficient for breakfast The staff are extremely helpful and friendly The hotel’s location is fantastic It’s very close to the subway Drinking fresh orange juice in the morning was incredibly energizing Even though the room details were listed on Booking.com, I didn’t expect to end up with such a small room :)

L'hotel devra être renové le plus rapidement possibile. L'emplacement est bien mais la déco des chambres, l'entrée de l'hotel , les ascenseurs nécessitent une renovation complete.

Problem with coffee/cappucino/chocolate chaud machine. The staff tried very hard to help, but unsuccessful. In the past, the lobby was a wonderful place to relax, meet other guests. It was being renovated, so no entry. Also missed macarons in the lobby, and the wine in the afternoons, both previously offered during my previous 4 or 5 stays at Belloy. Perhaps once renovation is completed?

• casey (2/5): - The first night we arrived late with our baby. I had emailed the property asking for a cot and they never got back to me. He was so rude saying my daughter was not on the booking. He made us feel so uncomfortable and unwanted we had a long travel day and he was just so rude and abrasive and a really sad way to start our trip. All other staff were amazing. It was extremely small and the bathrooms were mouldy

There are common sense decisions, like facilitating plugging accesories, thinking of users for the furniture of bathrooms, etc that seem somehow driven by 'look' rather than 'effectiveness'. Belloy's staff is great. The location is perfect. Sometimes details and detail oriented management are missing.

• Nogadrol (10/5): Sheer delight - From the very moment that we arrived at this Hotel we felt relaxed and knew we would love our stay - and that feeling proved to be true. Morgan on Reception was exactly the right person to have on Reception. He was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and with a great sense of humour - we enjoyed exchanging a mix of English & French banter throughout our stay and we shared many laughs. Check-in was a breeze & we were soon in our beautiful room - lovely decor, superbly-equipped, comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast room was undergoing some alterations during our stay (can't wait to see the finished result !), so arrangements had been pre-made for ourselves (and other hotel guests) to enjoy breakfast directly across the street at a quaint little bar-restaurant. Any minor teething problems on day-1 were immediately addressed by Morgan, after which everything was lovely. Hotel Belloy is situated in the 6th Arrondissement, just off Boulevard St Michel and we were so pleased that we chose this area - and specifically the Hotel Belloy. It is a superb location with literally everything (River Boat trips, Hop on-off bus stops, gorgeous Cafe's & Restaurants as well as the iconic Notre Dame, and so much more) just a few minutes walk away. We cannot praise this Hotel highly enough. As well as Morgan, all of the other staff that we met were excellent. We already want to return and we will re-book our stay at Hotel Belloy without any hesitation. If you are looking for a lovely hotel in a lovely location we whole-heartedly recommend Hotel Belloy - it was such a delight to stay here, and if it were possible we would give it a score or 11 out of 10 !

• SuddenlySingleTravel (8/5): Great Location, Charming Stay with Classic Parisian Tradeoffs - My stay at Hôtel Belloy Saint-Germain was defined by its exceptional location and unmistakable Left Bank charm. Perfectly situated just moments from Notre-Dame Cathedral, the hotel places you in the heart of one of Paris’s most atmospheric neighborhoods where every turn offers a café, wine bar, or tucked-away street worth wandering. While Eiffel Tower is about a 45 minute stroll, the walk feels indulgent rather than inconvenient, carrying you through some of the city’s most vibrant and picturesque pockets of Paris, perfect for lingering over a chocolat chaud or an impromptu apéritif along the way. The rooms, though intimate as expected in Paris, feel quintessentially Parisian in the best sense. I was fortunate to have a higher floor room facing the main street, offering a view of Notre Dame and the surrounding Haussmann architecture—an experience that elevated the entire stay and felt undeniably special. The elevator is notably compact (very much in line with historic Parisian buildings), accommodating only a couple of guests at a time. While I often opted for the stairs to reach my fourth-floor room, the reward was well worth it for the light, perspective, and view. I would absolutely return. For the most elevated experience, I recommend requesting a higher-floor room facing the main street and embracing the stairs as part of the charm.

Very accessible, with lots of amenities and eateries nearby, and several attractions in walking distance (Notre Dame less than 10 minutes away). Yes the rooms are a little on the small side as others have highlighted, but are very comfortable and perfectly suited for a break away if you’re not intending to spend lots of time in your room. Everything was very clean and all the staff were very welcoming.

Overall room was tired and when we first walked in the carpet was dirty it hadn’t been hovered, the room was dusty and there were dried on coffee stains down the wall by the bed. They were cleaned up but I had to go twice to reception on the day of arrival to get this done. The edges of the carpet needed a good hoover which hadn’t been done in ages. Hôtel was in a good location and you walk easily to Notre Dame & the Metro stations. Easy walk to restaurants in the ending.

The upsides are the staff are great, the location (Odeon) suits me well and the hotel is good quality and fairly priced. However, my room was right outside the lift (very noisy) and the people next door were so loud, it was as if they were in my room. This led to a very ode experience. Avoid 601 if there are people in 602.

The room, the bathroom….extremely small. We knew it wasn’t going to be big, but it turned out smaller than expected. Specially the bathroom…..couldn’t even sit straight. Room couldn’t even fit 2 people and 2 large suitcases. Photos shown on your website were deceptive, not even close to how the rooms actually are.

Transportation is easy by both bus and metro. It is located on a main street in a lively and safe area. One night while I was sleeping, there was a lot of noise and I woke up in fear. A group of young people who were also staying at the hotel were being extremely loud possibly under the influence of alcohol, I’m not sure. The shouting and noise were so intense that I jumped out of bed, thinking there was some kind of disturbance, fire, or emergency in the hotel. When I opened the door, the young guests were still being noisy. A few other guests warned them to be quiet. This was my only negative experience, and it was caused by other guests, not the hotel itself. Apart from this incident, I was very satisfied with the hotel itself.

O quarto (405) era minúsculo, tem menos de 10 metros quadrados, sem um bom isolamento acústico(o hotel fina na esquina da Avenida Saint Germain). Os tecidos da roupa de cama eram de péssima qualidade e a cama (lógico) era minúscula.

The St.Germain area is so convenient and this particular hotel is close to several metro lines. The beds were comfy, big terrace doors with blackout curtains and a nice size shower/ salle de bain. I will almost certainly look to book here again on my next trip to Paris. It far exceeded the first hotel I stayed in just one block away. The prices were comparable. This place was cleaner, bigger, and the second bed for my daughter was an actual comfy bed and not a pull out couch. Absolutely recommend. The elevator is so small but not unlike any other hotel in Paris. This is not a criticism but a friendly reminder to other Americans who are used to big roomy elevators to fit the too many bags we bring. If that is an issue for you, you may want to seek out an American chain hotel in the city.

• Nigel Slocombe (9/5): Hotel Belloy is a gem of an accommodation, hidden within Paris. - The location of Hotel Belloy was ideal for exploring the city of Paris, made even better by the service of the staff from the moment we stepped foot inside the lobby. The layout and comfort of our room was wonderful, and warm. Whilst the capacity of the hotel is small, it is a well furnished and equipped hotel that will meet everyones requirements. It is also a short walk away from Odéon metro station.

• susan_fl_and_Hun (10/5): A gem! And so reasonable for the area! - We LOVED this little gem of a hotel! The staff and service were fabulous. The location next to the famous Gilbert bookstore is great- you can walk in any direction and find coffee bars, bistros, cafes,restaurants. Stroll down to the Seine and Notre Dame, or to the Pantheon, or Luxembourg Gardens. Easy Metro access to go anywhere. The beds and linens were top notch; the coffee in the little lobby/lounge is great (and the 14 year old loved their hot chocolate. Great history here too- ask about the resident poets in 1871! This will be our “go-to” place for future Paris visits!!! Thank you!
