- Curious39261770049 (8/5): Location, Amenities and Staff walking distance to so many iconic places.m - The Marriott is located near many iconic places. It is possible to walk to Teatro Colón, La Ideal, Galerias Pacifico and La Estancia Restaurant. From the rooftop you can take photos of the Obelisk and the sunsets are spectacular. The pool and gym are also there! The pool is the best I have ever seen in my travels. Finally what made the hotel a good choice was the people. All friendly, welcoming and helpful.

It sounded like people were inside our room when they were just in the hall. I felt like I had the door open with how loud it was. We could hear every person walking down the hall a fully hear their conversations. Maybe this tower is next for the upgrade. But the noise is the only fault in that side of the hotel.

- rtg9355 (6/5): OK for location, but a dated property - The location is great and in the heart of Buenos Aires. As a Titanium BonVoy member, I was upgraded to a large room, which was good but dated. The pool area is very nice. However, the hotel was once a grand hotel, but it's lost its luster. The M Club was a resounding disappointment! The selection was sparse and they consistently ran out of items, which was disappointing since I selected this property to have a nice lounge on vacation. I addressed my concerns with the staff but nobody seemed to care or was interested. This Marriott does not give you the option to have breakfast in the restaurant, like other Marriott's for high status members. The shower was a mess because the floor doesn't tilt toward the drain. Some of the room decor is old and tired.

The TV is on a wall on the side of the bed so you need to be on your side to watch tv. The halls have some type of cleaner smell. There is no concierge. On the plus side the breakfast was adequate but crowded with tours from around the world and the staff was friendly. You should be able to do better in Buenos Aires.

Not sure if their role, they just hand around and do not open doors or assist with luggage. Food in restaurants was ok. Club Lounge employees were quite unfriendly. Reception staff was very friendly. Pool is nice but like a greenhouse do gets very warm in there. Temperature of pool water is very warm, does not cool a person down. Overall ok experience.

Simple request to Housekeeping was never serviced after two calls during a 5-hour span. Shower gel not replenished. No one to help with luggage on checkout or for transportation. Seems to take it for granted that the location is all that matters. Quite disappointing for a Titanium customer.

The drawback at this hotel is housekeeping where one has to ask for shampoo and conditioner; coffee items are not replenished for a several days stay, and one has to transfer the one small bar of soap from the sink to the shower back to the sink

The furniture was old and outdated, and the bathroom had a shower curtain instead of glass doors. The sink leaked underneath, forcing me to use a trash can to catch water and empty it daily. Management offered no real solution or compensation—just said they’d notify maintenance. Breakfast buffet was subpar. While the location is great, I would not recommend this hotel.

- stevekemp2014 (2/5): Very dirty towels - Let me start by saying, I’m a Marriott guy, staring in Marriotts all over the world. Hotel was in a great location, right in the heart of Buenos Aires. However, the cleanliness is very poor. After taking a shower, I grabbed a towel and started drying, only to find the towel was heavily soiled. I had to reshower. I did not expect I would have to check the towel before use, especially in this standard of hotel.

- ZGMing (6/5): A comfortable stay, even though an old hotel - This is a rather old hotel – maybe more than 35 years old. According to Uber drivers, it was previously known as Panamericano Buenos Aires. The name change to the Marriot brand was only some years back. We took two rooms, and despite its age, the rooms were comfortable. They have quite a big lounge for use by Club members. The front desk staff were helpful esp Manuel. But breakfast was average. Location is good. My only concern with my stay is really something which is quite incomprehensible, that is, all guests are entitled to only two bottles of water per stay. So, I was given two bottles of water despite staying there for nine nights! For us who travelled from the other side of the globe, this policy is most unreasonable and almost unheard of in other properties, especially when the right to water is a fundamental human right!

- wine4et99 (6/5): Pretty lobby every else disappoints - We were there for 3 nights. I am a titanium Marriott member. I used a suite upgrade certificate. We got a room the same Size as a standard room but had a wall and a couch and it looked into another building. We asked for a room with a view and they changed it to a standard room but it had a 180 degree view of the mail st. The lobby is gorgeous, lots of marble, very old world. Our room on the 15th floor was tired. The hallway was pathetic. Bad paint scratches in the baseboards and scratches in the wallpaper. They do not do any type of maintenance. The service from the staff varied. I let them know we were celebrating our anniversary and they sent a bottle of champagne to the room. While we were getting shown the room by the bell person we asked about ice. I tipped him and he said he would get it and he never came back. When we checked in I asked if they had a concierge. They said no they did it at the desk. I asked about suggestions for dinner and a tango show. He said he would get back to me and never did. The service in the bar area was horrible. A server could walk by you 10 times over a 20 minute period and never acknowledge you or take your order. A few times I eventually went to the bar and ordered.

- Luciana (6/5): - * El personal es muy amable y educado. * Tienen muy buen servicio de internet. * La habitación estaba muy limpia. * La ubicación es inmejorable. * El calor dentro de la habitación fue agobiante. Pedí que revisaran el aire acondicionado, el operario acudió, dijo que lo había encendido y se retiró rápidamente. Sin embargo, el aire nunca funcionó correctamente y durante el día el calor fue insoportable, lo que hizo imposible permanecer en la habitación. * Durante la cena en el restaurante el corte de carne resultó muy duro. Sería bueno que mejoraran este aspecto, ya que el resto del servicio fue correcto. * Como recomendación, durante mi estancia , un mediodía bajé a almorzar al restaurante del hotel y al regresar vi que habían ordenado la habitación. Pensando que el horario de limpieza había pasado, había dejado la valija abierta con ropa, medicación y artículos de higiene personal sobre la cama así como documentación a la vista. En ese caso hubiera preferido que el personal se retirara inmediatamente de la habitación avisando a la gerencia de lo sucedido y así evitar la sensación de pérdida de privacidad. De todas formas no hubo ningún inconveniente, solo es una recomendación.

Altissima qualidade em todos os aspectos das instalações bem como um staff extremamente atencioso e gentil. Café da manhã excelente e tranquilo mesmo nos horarios mais movimentados. A opção de ainda poder tomar um drink antes de terminar a noite num otimo bar completa uma experiencia fantastica. Retornando em Buenos Aires é com certeza minha escolha. Estava tudo otimo. Nada que precise melhorar ao meu ver.
